Research on Anti-Fluctuation Control of Winding Tension System Based on Feedforward Compensation

In the fiber winding process,strong disturbance,uncertainty,strong coupling,and fiber friction complicate the winding constant tension control.In order to effectively reduce the influence of these problems on the tension output,this paper proposed a tension fluctuation rejection strategy based on feedforward compensation.In addition to the bias harmonic curve of the unknown state,the tension fluctuation also contains the influence of bounded noise.A tension fluctuation observer(TFO)is designed to cancel the uncertain periodic signal,in which the frequency generator is used to estimate the critical parameter information.Then,the fluctuation signal is reconstructed by a third-order auxiliary filter.The estimated signal feedforward compensates for the actual tension fluctuation.Furthermore,a time-varying parameters fractional-order PID controller(TPFOPID)is realized to attenuate the bounded noise in the fluctuation.Finally,TPFOPID is enhanced by TFO and applied to control a tension control system considering multi-source disturbances.The stability of the method is analyzed by using the Lyapunov theorem.Finally,numerical simulations verify that the proposed scheme improves the tracking ability and robustness of the system in response to tension fluctuations.

Better engineering layered vanadium oxides for aqueous zinc‐ion batteries: Going beyond widening the interlayer spacing

Aqueous zinc‐ion batteries(ZIBs)are regarded as among the most promising candidates for large‐scale grid energy storage,owing to their high safety,low costs,and environmental friendliness.Over the past decade,vanadium oxides,which are exemplified by V2O5,have been widely developed as a class of cathode materials for ZIBs,where the relatively high theoretical capacity and structural stability are among the main considerations.However,there are considerable challenges in the construction of vanadium‐based ZIBs with high capacity,long lifespan,and excellent rate performance.Simple widenings of the interlayer spacing in the layered vanadium oxides by pre‐intercalations appear to have reached their limitations in improving the energy density and other key performance parameters of ZIBs,although various metal ions(Na+,Ca2+,and Al3+)and even organic cations/groups have been explored.Herein,we discuss the advances made more recently,and also the challenges faced by the high‐performance vanadium oxides(V2O5‐based)cathodes,where there are several strategies to improve their electrochemical performance ranging from the new structural designs down to sub‐nano‐scopic/molecular/atomic levels,including cation pre‐intercalation,structural water optimization,and defect engineering,to macroscopic structural modifications.The key principles for an optimal structural design of the V2O5‐based cathode materials for high energy density and fast‐charging aqueous ZIBs are examined,aiming at paving the way for developing energy storage designed for those large scales,high safety,and low‐cost systems.

Jurassic integrative stratigraphy,biotas,and paleogeographical evolution of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and its surrounding areas

The Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau experienced a unique geological evolution during the Jurassic,driven by the termination of the Palaeotethys and the reduction of the Neotethys.The Indian Plate separated from the northern margin of Gondwana and drifted northward from the Southern Hemisphere.Given that the timing of strata serves as the basis for reconstructing geological history,the present work aimed to develop a new multiple stratigraphic and chronologic framework for the Jurassic strata of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau region via a synthesis of the material on lithostratigraphy,palaeontology,iso-radiometric dating,magnetostratigraphy,and other techniques with an emphasis on recent progress and findings.The new framework included the Jurassic System from the four major subdivisions of the plateau:the Baryan Har,Qiangtang,Lhasa-Gandise,and Southern Xizang(Himalaya).Ultimately,a more complete,refined biostratigraphic sequence was proposed,comprising the most common fossils in the plateau and those that are stratigraphically significant for the Jurassic stratigraphy,including ammonites,bivalves,brachiopods,foraminifera,radiolarians,and dinoflagellate cysts for the marine strata,and pollen and spores,and charophytes for the terrestrial sediments.This biostratigraphic framework was correlated with the Jurassic international standard zonation of the Geological Time Scale 2020 via standard or representative species or genera of ammonites.Based on this framework,we constructed a lateral correlation of the Jurassic strata between different basins of the plateau.The palaeontologic correlation in the present work shows that the Lhasa-Gandise Block had a closer relationship with the Qiangtang Block than with the Southern Xizang Himalaya during the Jurassic Period.Meanwhile,the Lhasa-Gandise Block and Qiangtang Block shared similar marine fauna features of the north marginal East Tethys.This contrasts the opinion suggesting that the Yarlung Zangbo Tethys was a small back-arc basin.A combination of stratigraphical,palaeontological,a

Plasma-assisted aerogel interface engineering enables uniform Zn2+ flux and fast desolvation kinetics toward zinc metal batteries

The poor reversibility of Zn anodes induced by dendrite growth,surface passivation,and corrosion,severely hinders the practical applicability of Zn metal batteries.To address these issues,a plasmaassisted aerogel（PAG） interface engineering was proposed as efficient ion transport modulator that can simultaneously regulate uniform Zn2+flux and desolvation behavior during battery operation.The PAG with ordered mesopores acted as an ion sieve to homogenize Zn deposition and accelerate Zn2+flux,which is favorable for corrosion resistance and dendrite suppression.Importantly,the plasma-assisted aerogel with abundant hydrophilic groups can facilitate the desolvation kinetics of Zn2+due to the multiple hydrogen-bonding interaction with the activated water molecules,thus accelerating the Zn2+migration kinetics.Consequently,the Zn/Zn cell assembled with PAG-modified separator demonstrates stable plating and stripping behavior(over 1400 h at 1 mA cm-2) and high Coulombic efficiency(99.8% at1 mA cm-2after 1100 cycles),and the Zn‖MnO2full cell shows excellent long-term cycling stability and maintains a high capacity of 154.9 mA h g-1after 1000 cycles at 1 A g-1.This study provides a feasible approach for the large-scale fabrication of aerogel functionalized separators to realize ultra-stable Zn metal batteries.

Facile synthesis of hydrochar-supported catalysts from glucose and its catalytic activity towards the production of functional amines

Since the utilization of abundant biomass to develop advanced materials has become an utmost priority in recent years,we developed two sustainable routes(i.e.,the impregnation method and the one-pot synthesis)to prepare the hydrochar-supported catalysts and tested its catalytic performance on the reductive amination.Several techniques,such as TEM,XRD and XPS,were adopted to characterize the structural and catalytic features of samples.Results indicated that the impregnation method favors the formation of outer-sphere surface complexes with porous structure as well as well-distributed metallic nanoparticles,while the one-pot synthesis tends to form the inner-sphere surface complexes with relatively smooth appearance and amorphous metals.This difference explains the better activity of catalysts prepared by the impregnation method which can selectively convert benzaldehyde to benzylamine with an excellent yield of 93.7%under the optimal reaction conditions;in contrast,the catalyst prepared by the one-pot synthesis only exhibits a low selectivity near to zero.Furthermore,the gram-scale test catalyzed by the same catalysts exhibits a similar yield of benzylamine in comparison to its smaller scale,which is comparable to the previously reported heterogeneous noble-based catalysts.More surprisingly,the prepared catalysts can be expediently recycled by a magnetic bar and remain the satisfying catalytic activity after reusing up to five times.In conclusion,these developed catalysts enable the synthesis of functional amines with excellent selectivity and carbon balance,proving cost-effective and sustainable access to the wide application of reductive amination.

On monomial algebras with representation-finite enveloping algebras

The present paper mainly considers the representation type of the enveloping algebra of monomial algebra.Let A be a monomial algebra and Ae=A?kAopbe its enveloping algebra.It is shown that Aeis representation-finite if and only if A～=An/rad2An,where Anis the path algebra k Q with Q=1-→2-→···-→n.Moreover,we show that the number of all isoclasses of indecomposable (An/rad2An)e-modules is43n3+n2-73n+1,and classify all indecomposable modules over (An/rad2An)e.Finally,the Clebsch-Gordon problem over (A2n/radAn)eis studied.

Fluid lubricated bearings have been widely adopted as support components for high-end equipment in metrology,semiconductor devices,aviation,strategic defense,ultraprecision manufacturing,medical treatment,and power generation.In all these applications,the equipment must deliver extreme working performances such as ultraprecise movement,ultrahigh rotation speed,ultraheavy bearing loads,ultrahigh environmental temperatures,strong radiation resistance,and high vacuum operation,which have challenged the design and optimization of reliable fluid lubricated bearings.Breakthrough of any related bottlenecks will promote the development course of high-end equipment.To promote the advancement of high-end equipment,this paper reviews the design and optimization of fluid lubricated bearings operated at typical extreme working performances,targeting the realization of extreme working performances,current challenges and solutions,underlying deficiencies,and promising developmental directions.This paper can guide the selection of suitable fluid lubricated bearings and optimize their structures to meet their required working performances.

Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is one of the most common malignancies and is a major cause of cancer-related mortalities worldwide(Forner et al.,2018;He et al.,2023).Sarcopenia is a syndrome characterized by an accelerated loss of skeletal muscle(SM)mass that may be age-related or the result of malnutrition in cancer patients(Cruz-Jentoft and Sayer,2019).Preoperative sarcopenia in HCC patients treated with hepatectomy or liver transplantation is an independent risk factor for poor survival(Voron et al.,2015;van Vugt et al.,2016).

PSI-driven cyclic electron fl ow partially alleviates the peroxidation of red alga Gelidium amansii(Gelidiaceae)caused by temporary high temperature

PSI-driven cyclic electron fl ow(CEF-I)helps higher plants avoid severe heat damage.Gelidium amansii,a red seaweed used in the production of agar,inhabits subtidal rocks but can be found in the intertidal zone.The biological role of CEF-I is still unclear in this organism.Wild G.amansii was exposed to 30℃heat stress for 12 h with continuous lighting.The results showed that treatment at 30℃gradually decreased maximal PSII photochemical effi ciency(F_(v)/F_(m)),linear electron transfer rate,and activity of photosynthetic reaction center.Both the maximal photochemical effi ciency under light(F_(v)'/F_(m)')and maximum quantum yield of light-adapted PSII(Φ_(PSII))were maintained at a relatively stable level during the initial 6 h and then signifi cantly decreased at 12 h.The up-regulated CEF-I helps to enhance proton gradient transfer across thylakoid membrane to protect oxygen-evolving complex against heat damage.Following the addition of a CEF-I inhibitor to plants,the F_(v)/F m greatly decreased,suggesting that the CEF-I alleviates degree of photoinhibition caused by strong light.The results of measurement of antioxidant enzymes,including superoxide dismutase(SOD),ascorbate peroxidase(APX)and catalase(CAT),and the contents of H_(2)O_(2)and malonaldehyde(MDA)provided additional evidence that CEF-I plays a protective role to a certain extent for G.amansii to manage stress at 30℃.Therefore,it can be concluded that CEF-I enables G.amansii to survive in intertidal zones by protecting it from the heat damage caused by high temperature stress.
