Distinct brain remodeling has been found after different nerve reconstruction strategies,including motor representation of the affected ***,differences among reconstruction strategies at the brain network level have not been *** study aimed to explore intranetwork changes related to altered peripheral neural pathways after different nerve reconstruction surgeries,including nerve repair,endto-end nerve transfer,and end-to-side nerve ***–Dawley rats underwent complete left brachial plexus transection and were divided into four equal groups of eight:no nerve repair,grafted nerve repair,phrenic nerve end-to-end transfer,and end-to-side transfer with a graft sutured to the anterior upper ***-state brain functional magnetic resonance imaging was obtained 7 months after *** independent component analysis algorithm was utilized to identify group-level network components of interest and extract resting-state functional connectivity values of each voxel within the *** in intra-network resting-state functional connectivity were compared among the *** muscle reinnervation was assessed by behavioral observation(elbow flexion)and *** results showed that alterations in the sensorimotor and interoception networks were mostly related to changes in the peripheral neural *** repair was related to enhanced connectivity within the sensorimotor network,while end-to-side nerve transfer might be more beneficial for restoring control over the affected limb by the original motor *** thalamic-cortical pathway was enhanced within the interoception network after nerve repair and end-to-end nerve *** areas related to cognition and emotion were enhanced after end-to-side nerve *** study revealed important brain networks related to different nerve *** networks may be potential targets for enhancing motor recovery.

目的探讨隐形矫治器矫治Ⅱ类错[牙合]畸形对颞下颌关节的影响。方法选取Ⅱ类错[牙合]畸形患者70例,采用信封法将患者分为观察组(n=35)和对照组(n=35),观察组给予隐形矫治器矫治,对照组给予自锁托槽矫治器矫治。观察两组颞下颌关节相关角度、间隙变化值等。结果观察组矫治前后上中切牙长轴与前颅底平面相交的下内角(U1-SN)变化值、上中切牙长轴与鼻根点-上牙槽座点连线交角(U1-NA)变化值分别为(11.05±1.01)°和(4.75±0.76)°,明显高于对照组(P <0.05);观察组矫治前后上颌中切牙、上颌侧切牙、下颌中切牙、下颌侧切牙变化值分别为(0.51±0.21)、(0.40±0.15)、(0.40±0.13)、(0.20±0.05)mm,明显低于对照组(P <0.05);观察组矫治前后菌斑指数(PLI)、牙龈指数(GI)和探诊深度(PD)变化值分别为(0.44±0.19)分、(0.41±0.13)分、(0.38±0.10)mm,明显低于对照组(P <0.05)。结论隐形矫治器矫治Ⅱ类错[牙合]畸形有较好的应用价值,有利于患者颞下颌关节改善。

The incorporation of pro-osteogenic growth factors into bone graft materials to enhance bone regeneration is a key research area within the field of bone tissue engineering and regenerative ***,growth factors directly incorporated in protein form are easily degraded,and have a limited active half-life,which cannot exert long-term and stable osteoinductive and oteoconductive *** combination of gene therapy and tissue engineering through gene-activated matrix(GAM)may provide a good alternative solution to overcome such *** materials can be combined together with plasmid DNA and a chemical-based transfection agent to form GAM,through which transfected cells could secrete growth factors in a sustained manner over a longer time duration;thereby enabling bone graft materials to act as a repository of therapeutic genes,while providing structural support and a scaffold matrix for new bone tissue *** this study,we prepared hydroxyapatite/chitosan-microspheres(HA/CS-MS)with microfabrication technology and emulsification method,and loaded the polyethylene imine/bone morphogenetic protein 2 plasmid(PEI/pBMP2)complexes with high transfection capacity(transfection efficiency up to 54.79%±4.95%),thus forming a novel GAM system with superior bone regeneration capacity—PEI/pBMP2-HA/*** in vitro experiments in this study demonstrated that our GAM had excellent biocompatibility(with cell viability over 95%),and that the as-fabricated microsphere material possessed a nano-network fibrous structure similar to natural extracellular matrix(ECM),together with a higher surface area that can provide more cell adhesion *** sizes of the prepared microspheres were mainly distributed in the 160–180μm range,while the maximal loading rate of PEI-pBMP2 complexes was 59.79%±1.85%.As a loaded complexes system,the GAM can release plasmids in a slow controlled manner,effectively transfecting surrounding target cells(release effect for up to 21 d

Surface oxygen-deficient Ti2SC for enhanced lithium-ion uptake

Recently, MAX phases show great potential in lithium-ion uptake due to their excellent electrical conductivity and unique lamellar-structure accommodating lithium ions. However, the reports about MAX electrodes for lithium-ion battery up to now are relatively low. Herein we report the preparation of surface oxygen-deficient Ti2SC with abundant oxygen vacancies by a facile surface engineering method. When using as a lithium storage anode, this oxygen-deficient Ti2SC delivers a high capacity of 350 m Ah/g at a current density of 400 m A/g as well as excellent rate performance, doubling the capacity compared to that of Ti2SC without oxygen vacancies. Confirmed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS)and kinetic mechanism analyses, after reducing surface oxides and generation of oxygen vacancies, the as-received Ti2SC exhibits higher electrical conductivity and faster lithium ion diffusion. Thus this work offers a facial and effective strategy of optimizing the surface structure of MAX phases, further to achieve an enhanced lithium-ion uptake for lithium-ion batteries or capacitors.

Application of Gaussian Beam Summation Migration in Reflected In-seam Wave Imaging

The geological conditions for coal mining in China are complex,with various structural issues such as faults and collapsed columns seriously compromising the safety of coal mine ***-seam wave exploration is an effective technique for acquiring detailed information on geological structures in coal seam working ***,the existing reflected in-seam wave imaging technique can no longer meet the exploration precision requirements,making it imperative to develop a new reflected in-seam wave imaging *** study applies the Gaussian beam summation(GBS)migration method to imaging coal seams'reflected in-seam wave ***,with regard to the characteristics of the reflected in-seam wave data,methods such as wavefield removal and enveloped superposition are employed for the corresponding wavefield separation,wave train compression and other processing of reflected in-seam ***,imaging is performed using the GBS migration *** feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method for reflected in-seam wave imaging are validated by conducting GBS migration tests on 3D coal-seam fault models with different dip angles and *** applying the method to reflected in-seam wave data for an actual coal seam working face,accurate imaging of a fault structure is obtained,thereby validating its practicality.

A prognosis model for predicting immunotherapy response of esophageal cancer based on oxidative stress-related signatures

Oxidative stress(OS)is intimately associated with tumorigenesis and has been considered a potential therapeutic ***,the OS-associated therapeutic target for esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)remains *** our study,gene expression data of ESCC and clinical information from public databases were *** LASSO-Cox regression analysis,a risk score(RS)signature map of prognosis was constructed and performed external verification with the GSE53625 *** ESTIMATE,xCell,CIBERSORT,TIMER,and ImmuCellAI algorithms were employed to analyze infiltrating immune cells and generate an immune microenvironment(IM).Afterward,functional enrichment analysis clarified the underlying mechanism of the *** was utilized for forecasting the survival rate of individual ESCC *** a result,we successfully constructed an OS-related genes(OSRGs)model and found that the survival rate of high-risk groups was lower than that of low-risk *** AUC of the ROC verified the strong prediction performance of the signal in these two cohorts *** to independent prognostic analysis,the RS was identified as an independent risk factor for *** nomogram and follow-up data revealed that the RS possesses favorable predictive value for the prognosis of ESCC ***-PCR detection demonstrated increased expression of MPC1,COX6C,CYB5R3,CASP7,and CYCS in esophageal cancer *** conclusion,we have constructed an OSRGs model for ESCC to predict patients’prognosis,offering a novel insight into the potential application of the OSRGs model in ESCC.
