Catalytic performance and reaction mechanisms of NO removal with NH_(3) at low and medium temperatures on Mn-W-Sb modified siderite catalysts

Iron-based catalysts have been explored for selective catalytic reduction(SCR)of NO due to environmentally benign characters and good SCR ***-W-Sb modified siderite catalysts were prepared by impregnation method based on siderite ore,and SCR perfor-mance of the catalysts was *** catalysts were analyzed by X-ray diffrac-tion,H_(2)-temperature-programmed reduction,Brunauer-Emmett-Teller,Thermogravimetry-derivative thermogravimetry and in-situ diffused reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(DRIFTS).The modified siderite catalysts calcined at 450℃ mainly consist of Fe_(2)O_(3),and added Mn,W and Sb species are amorphous.3Mn-5W-1.5Sb-siderite catalyst has a wide temperature window of 180-360℃ and good N_(2) selectivity at low ***-situ DRIFTS results show NH_(4)^(+),coordinated NH_(3),NH_(2),NO_(3)^(-)species(bidentate),NO_(2)-species(nitro,nitro-nitrito,monodentate),and adsorbed NO_(2) can be discovered on the sur-face of Mn-W-Sb modified siderite catalysts,and doping of Mn will enhance adsorbed NO_(2) formation by synergistic catalysis with Fe^(3+).In addition,the addition of Sb can inhibit sulfates formation on the surface of the catalyst in the presence of SO_(2) and H_(2)***-dependent in-situ DRIFTS studies also indicate that both of Lewis and Br?nsted acid sites play a role in SCR of NO by ammonia at low *** mechanism of NO removal on the 3Mn-5W-1.5Sb-siderite catalyst can be discovered as a combination of Eley-Rideal and Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanisms with three reaction *** mechanism of NO,oxidized by synergistic catalysis of Fe^(3+)and Mn^(4+/3+)to form NO_(2) among three pathways,reveals the reason of high NO_(x) conversion of the catalyst at medium and low temperatures.

A dynamic signal coordination control method for urban arterial roads and its application

We propose a novel dynamic traffic signal coordination method that takes account of the special traffic flow characteristics of urban arterial roads. The core of this method includes a control area division module and a signal coordination control module. Firstly, we analyze and model the influences of segment distance, traffic flow density, and signal cycle time on the correlation degree between two neighboring intersections. Then, we propose a fuzzy computing method to estimate the correlation degree based on a hierarchical structure and a method to divide the control area of urban arterial roads into subareas based on correlation degrees. Subarea coordination control arithmetic is used to calculate the public cycle time of the control subarea, up-run offset and down-run offset of the section, and the split of each intersection. An application of the method in Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, China shows that the method can reduce the average travel time and the average stop rate effectively.

Pose optimization of the FAST feed support system based on the new feed cabin mechanism

The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) is the largest and most sensitive single-dish radio telescope in the world and has made many important scientific achievements in a few years. Given the enormous scientific research potential of the Milky Way center, it is necessary to enhance the observation zenith angle as close to the Milky Way center as possible. In this regard, a new mechanism for the feed cabin is proposed with cables and sliders, which is lighter in weight and larger in the workspace. This paper will introduce this new feed cabin and the whole feed support system and establish their mechanical models to optimize the relevant control parameters, making FAST achieve an observation zenith angle of at least 50°with satisfying the required constraints. It indicates that the new mechanism designed by the FAST team can be used for the FAST upgrade and the future FAST array project.

Modeling the Long-term Antibody Response and Duration of Immune Protection Induced by an Inactivated,Preservative-free Hepatitis A Vaccine(Healive)in Children

Objective Long-term seroprotection via the hepatitis A vaccine is essential for the prevention of disease from the hepatitis A virus(HAV).Due to documented difficulties during decade-long follow-ups after receiving vaccines,statistical-modeling approaches have been applied to predict the duration of immune *** Based on five-year follow-up data from a randomized positive-controlled trial among Chinese children(1–8 years old)following a 0,6 months vaccination schedule,a power-law model accounting for the kinetics of B-cell turnover,as well as a modified power-law model considering a memory-B-cell subpopulation,were fitted to predict the long-term immune responses induced by HAV vaccination(Healive or Havrix).Anti-HAV levels of each individual and seroconversion rates up to 30 years after vaccination were *** A total of 375 participants who completed the two-dose vaccination were included in the *** models predicted that,over a life-long period,participants vaccinated with Healive would have close but slightly higher antibody titers than those of participants vaccinated with ***,consistent with previous studies,more than 90%of participants were predicted to maintain seroconversion for at least 30 ***,the modified power-law model predicted that the antibody titers would reach a plateau level after nearly 15 years *** Based on the results of our modeling,Healive may adequately induce long-term immune responses following a 0,6 months vaccination schedule in children via induction of memory B cells to provide stable and durable immune protection.

Geospatial assessment of rooftop solar photovoltaic potential using multi-source remote sensing data

Rooftop solar photovoltaics (PV) play increasing role in the global sustainable energy transition. This raises the challenge of accurate and high-resolution geospatial assessment of PV technical potential in policymaking and power system planning. To address the challenge, we propose a general framework that combines multi-resource satellite images and deep learning models to provide estimates of rooftop PV power generation. We apply deep learning based inversion model to estimate hourly solar radiation based on geostationary satellite images, and automatic segmentation model to extract building footprint from high-resolution satellite images. The framework enables precise survey of available rooftop resources and detailed simulation of power generation on an hourly basis with a spatial resolution of 100 m. The case study in jiangsu Province demonstrates that the framework is applicable for large areas and scalable between precise locations and arbitrary regions across multiple temporal scales. Our estimates show that rooftop resources across the province have a potential installed capacity of 245.17 GW, corresponding to an annual power generation of 290.66 TWh. This highlights the huge space for carbon emissions reduction through developing rooftop PVs.

An Improved Method of Simultaneous Determination of Four Bioactive Compounds in Evodiae Fructus Using Ionic Liquids as Mobile Phase Additives in High Performance Liquid Chromatography

There are many compounds with different structures and chemical properties in Evodiae Fructus. It is hard to simultaneously determine the bioactive compounds by high performance liquid chromatography（HPLC）. A new method was proposed for four bioactive compounds（synephrine, limonoids, evodiamine and rutecarpine） to be separated completely and determined accurately using ionic liquids（ILs） as mobile phase additives. The mechanism and the effect of the ILs for changing the chromatographic behaviors of the four compounds were studied by systemati- cally changing the pH value of mobile phase, the types and concentrations of ILs as well as the concentrations of phosphate buffer. The chromatographic behaviors of the analytes with a mobile phase containing ILs complied with the stoichiometric displacement model for retention（SDM-R）. All results demonstrate the dual nature of ionic liquids, which are competitive adsorption and ion-pair agent. Meanwhile, excellent linearity was observed for all the com- pounds with correlation coefficients between 0.9992 and 0.9998. The limit of detection and the limit of quantification of the four compounds varied from 0.47μg/mL to 0.87 μg/mL and from 1.79 μg/mL to 2.44μg/mL, respectively. Three kinds of Evodiae Fructus processed through different methods were analyzed via the method. The result shows that the contents of evodiamine and rutecarpine as the two main active compounds by processing with vinegar and salt are obviously higher than those of the raw products.

Enhanced Microwave Absorption Properties of Double-Layer Absorbers Based on Spherical NiO and Co_(0.2)Ni_(0.4)Zn_(0.4)Fe_2O_4 Ferrite Composites

Microwave absorption properties of spherical NiO particles and Co0.2Ni0.4Zn0.4Fe2O4（CNZF） ferrites with single-layer and double-layer absorbers were studied in the frequency range of 2–18 GHz. The spherical NiO particles were synthesized by using a hydrothermal process, while the CNZF powders were prepared by using a sol–gel autoignition method. The double-layer absorbers, composed of 30 wt% NiO as matching layer and 30 wt% CNZF as absorption layer,with a total thickness of 3.2 mm, exhibited a maximum reflection loss（RL） of –67.0 d B at 9.2 GHz and an effective absorbing bandwidth below –10 d B to be 3.9 GHz from 7.0 to 10.9 GHz. The excellent microwave absorption performance of the double-layer absorbers should be ascribed to the high impedance matching ratio, the great microwave attenuation capability, and well-coupled layer.

Magnetic order driven by orbital ordering in the semiconducting KFe1.5Se2

The two-orbital Hubbard model is studied numerically by using the Hartree-Fock approximation in both real space and momentum space, and the ground-state properties of the alkali metal iron selenide semiconducting KFel.5Se2 are investigated. A rhombus-type Fe vacancy order with stripe- type antiferromagnetic （AFM） order is found, as was observed in neutron scattering experiments [J. Zhao, et al., Phys. Rev. Lett. 109, 267003 （2012）]. Hopping parameters are obtained by fitting the experimentally observed stripe AFM phase in real space. These hopping parameters are then used to study the ground-state properties of the semiconductor in momentum space. It is found to be a strongly correlated system with a large on-site Coulomb repulsion U, similar to the AFM Mort insulator -- the parent compound of copper oxide superconductors. We also find that the electronic occupation numbers and magnetizations in the dxz and dyz orbitals become different simultaneously when U 〉 Uc （～3.4 eV）, indicating orbital ordering. These results imply that the rotational symmetry between the two orbitals is broken by orbital ordering and thus drives the strong anisotropy of the magnetic coupling that has been observed by experiments and that the stripe-type AFM order in this compound may be caused by orbital ordering together with the observed large anisotropy.

Evaporate prediction and compensation of intake port wall-wetting fuel film for spark ignition engines fueled with ethanol-gasoline blends

The fuel dynamic transfer process,including fuel injection,fuel film deposition and evaporation in the intake port,was analyzed for spark ignition(SI) engines with port fuel injection(PFI).The influence of wall-wetting fuel film,especially its evaporation rate,upon the air-fuel ratio of in-cylinder mixtures was also *** to the similarity principle,Fick's law,the ideal gas equation and the Gilliland correlation,an evaporate prediction model of wall-wetting fuel film was set up and an evaporate prediction based dynamic fuel film compensator was *** engine cold start tests,the wall-wetting temperature,which is the key input of the fuel film evaporate prediction model,was also modeled and *** with the experimental data of the evaporation characteristics of ethanol-gasoline blends and engine calibration tests,all the parameters of the wall-wetting fuel film evaporate prediction model used in the fuel film compensator were ***-wave disturbance tests of fuel injection showed that with the help of the fuel film compensator the response of the in-cylinder air-fuel ratio was significantly improved and the real air-fuel ratio always closely matched the expected *** fuel film compensator was then integrated into the final air-fuel ratio controller,and the engine tests showed that the air-fuel ratio control error was less than 2% in steady-state conditions,and less than 4% in transient *** fuel film compensator also showed good adaptability to different ethanol-gasoline blends.
