The practical application of micro-alloying Zn–Mg alloys is limited due to their poor mechanical properties and evident strain softening behavior. Therefore, this paper proposed the utilization of ECAP plus rolling processing as an innovative approach to potentially address these limitations. Herein, effects of ECAP and rolling processing on the microstructures, mechanical properties and strain softening behavior were investigated. It was found that the grain refinement achieved through 1-pass ECAP and 8-pass ECAP processing differed significantly, and subsequent rolling processing can further regulate grain size and dislocation distribution. The 1-pass ECAP plus cold rolling(1p-CR), 1-pass ECAP plus hot-cold rolling(1p-HC), and 8-pass ECAP plus hot-cold rolling(8p-HC) processed alloys exhibited heterostructure characterized by fine grains encircling coarse grains. Additionally, regions with high density dislocations were uniformly distributed alongside regions with low density dislocations. This unique microstructure promoted the accumulation and interaction of dislocation during deformation, resulting in the inhibition of strain softening behavior while maintaining high strength and high elongation. Therefore, the 1p-CR, 1p-HC, and 8p-HC alloys demonstrated excellent formability and mechanical stability while meeting the required mechanical properties for implant materials, which highlight their significant potential for practical applications.

Esophageal cancer is an upper gastrointestinal malignancy with a bleak *** is still being explored in depth due to its complex molecular mechanisms of occurrence and *** play a crucial role in cells by participating in energy supply,biofilm formation,and signal transduction processes,and lipid metabolic reprogramming also constitutes a significant characteristic of malignant *** and more studies have found esophageal cancer has obvious lipid metabolism abnormalities throughout its beginning,progress,and treatment *** inhibition of tumor growth and the enhancement of antitumor therapy efficacy can be achieved through the regulation of lipid ***,we reviewed and analyzed the research results and latest findings for lipid metabolism and associated analysis techniques in esophageal cancer,and comprehensively proved the value of lipid metabolic reprogramming in the evolution and treatment resistance of esophageal cancer,as well as its significance in exploring potential therapeutic targets and biomarkers.

Heavy components of low-alloy high-strength(LAHS) steels are generally formed by multi-pass forging. It is necessary to explore the flow characteristics and hot workability of LAHS steels during the multi-pass forging process, which is beneficial to the formulation of actual processing parameters. In the study, the multi-pass hot compression experiments of a typical LAHS steel are carried out at a wide range of deformation temperatures and strain rates. It is found that the work hardening rate of the experimental material depends on deformation parameters and deformation passes, which is ascribed to the impacts of static and dynamic softening behaviors. A new model is established to describe the flow characteristics at various deformation passes. Compared to the classical Arrhenius model and modified Zerilli and Armstrong model, the newly proposed model shows higher prediction accuracy with a confidence level of 0.98565. Furthermore, the connection between power dissipation efficiency(PDE) and deformation parameters is revealed by analyzing the microstructures. The PDE cannot be utilized to reflect the efficiency of energy dissipation for microstructure evolution during the entire deformation process, but only to assess the efficiency of energy dissipation for microstructure evolution in a specific deformation parameter *** a result, an integrated processing map is proposed to better study the hot workability of the LAHS steel, which considers the effects of instability factor(IF), PDE, and distribution and size of grains. The optimized processing parameters for the multi-pass deformation process are the deformation parameters of 1223–1318 K and 0.01–0.08 s^(-1). Complete dynamic recrystallization occurs within the optimized processing parameters with an average grain size of 18.36–42.3 μm. This study will guide the optimization of the forging process of heavy components.

The selection of important factors in machine learning-based susceptibility assessments is crucial to obtain reliable susceptibility *** this study,metaheuristic optimization and feature selection techniques were applied to identify the most important input parameters for mapping debris flow susceptibility in the southern mountain area of Chengde City in Hebei Province,China,by using machine learning *** total,133 historical debris flow records and 16 related factors were *** support vector machine(SVM)was first used as the base classifier,and then a hybrid model was introduced by a two-step ***,the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm was employed to select the SVM model ***,two feature selection algorithms,namely principal component analysis(PCA)and PSO,were integrated into the PSO-based SVM model,which generated the PCA-PSO-SVM and FS-PSO-SVM models,*** statistical metrics(accuracy,recall,and specificity)and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)were employed to evaluate and validate the performance of the *** results indicated that the feature selection-based models exhibited the best performance,followed by the PSO-based SVM and SVM ***,the performance of the FS-PSO-SVM model was better than that of the PCA-PSO-SVM model,showing the highest AUC,accuracy,recall,and specificity values in both the training and testing *** was found that the selection of optimal features is crucial to improving the reliability of debris flow susceptibility assessment ***,the PSO algorithm was found to be not only an effective tool for hyperparameter optimization,but also a useful feature selection algorithm to improve prediction accuracies of debris flow susceptibility by using machine learning *** high and very high debris flow susceptibility zone appropriately covers 38.01%of the study area,where debris flow may occur under intens

With the rapid development of optoelectronics,electrochromic(EC)materials(ECMs)with the advan-tages of low power consumption,easy viewing,high contrast ratio,etc have attached more and more attention from the fields of smart windows,electronic billboards,emerging wearable and portable electronics,and other next-generation *** oxide(NiO)is a promising candidate for high-performance ECMs because of its neutral-colored states and low ***,NiO-based ECMs still face the problem of slow switching speed due to their low electrical conductivity and small lattice ***-organic frameworks(MOFs)are promising candidates to fabricate hollow and porous transition metal oxides(TMOs)with high ion transport efficiency,excellent specific capacitance,and electrochemical *** this work,porous yolk-shell NiO nanospheres(PYS-NiO NSs)were syn-thesized via a solvothermal and subsequent calcination process of Ni-MOF,which exhibited outstanding EC *** the large specific surface areas and hollow porous nanostructures were conducive to ionic transport,PYS-NiO NSs exhibited a fast coloring/bleaching speed(3.6/3.9 s per one coloring/bleaching cycle)and excellent cycling stability(82%of capacity retention after 3000 cycles).These superior EC properties indicated that the PYS-NiO NSs was a promising candidate for high-performance EC *** work provides a new and feasible strategy for the efficient preparation of TMOs ECMs with good EC performance,especially fast switching speed.

Lignin is a common soil organic matter that is present in soils,but its effect on the transformation of ferrihydrite(Fh)remains *** matter is generally assumed to inhibit Fh ***,lignin can reduce Fh to Fe(Ⅱ),in which Fe(Ⅱ)-catalyzed Fh transformation ***,the effects of lignin on Fh transformation were investigated at 75℃ as a function of the lignin/Fh mass ratio(0-0.2),pH(4-8)and aging time(0-96 hr).The results of Fh-lignin samples(mass ratios=0.1)aged at different pH values showed that for Fh-lignin the time of Fh transformation into secondary crystalline minerals was significantly shortened at pH 6 when compared with pure Fh,and the Fe(Ⅱ)-accelerated transformation of Fh was strongly dependent on *** pH 6,at low lignin/Fh mass ratios(0.05-0.1),the time of secondary mineral formation decreased with increasing lignin *** high lignosulfonate-content material(lignin:Fh=0.2),Fh did not transform into secondary minerals,indicating that lignin content plays a major role in Fh *** addition,lignin affected the pathway of Fh transformation by inhibiting goethite formation and facilitating hematite *** effect of coprecipitation of lignin on Fh transformation should be useful in understanding the complex iron and carbon cycles in a soil environment.

Post-disaster reconstruction is a topic of global concern,and traditional villages have special heritage attributes and need to face more requirements and obstacles in post-disaster *** paper summarizes four concepts based on the research on post-disaster reconstruction both domestically and internationally,as well as the recovery and reconstruction of cultural *** a field survey of traditional villages in the Ms 6.8 Luding earthquake-stricken area,it is found that there are problems such as insufficient awareness of heritage value,misalignment of scientific reconstruction technology,and insufficient protection of reconstruction elements during the reconstruction *** villages face the risk of declining or even loss of heritage *** order to effectively protect traditional villages and inherit the carrier of regional culture,four targeted reconstruction response strategies are proposed,i.e.,to"establish special planning for traditional village preservation","emphasize recovery of the authenticity of village heritage","ensure elements for village heritage recovery"and"promote the activation and utilization of village heritage",based on the problems discovered during the survey and the four concepts summarized in the research on post-disaster reconstruction of traditional *** research results hope to provide useful reference for ancient cultural areas affected by earthquakes on how to protect cultural heritage during the post-disaster reconstruction process.

The photocatalytic decontamination of organic pollutants is an environmentally friendly and efficient water treatment *** introduction of vacancies,heterojunctions,and doping can enhance the performance of photocatalysts for such *** this study,N,O double-vacancy Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)S-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts were prepared,It is found that the electron separation and transfer efficiencies are considerably improved by the presence of nitrogen vacancies in graphitic ca rbon nitride(g-C_(3)N_(4))and oxygen vacancies in ZnO,in addition to the S-scheme heterojunction created between the two *** the degradation of methylene blue and ciprofloxacin,the degradation rates exhibited by Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)are significantly higher than those of the g=C_(3)N_(4)/ZnO *** remarkable photocatalytic performance of Ce-ZnO/g-C_(3)N_(4)may result from three key factors;(ⅰ)Ce doping,which produces impurity energy levels;(ⅱ)the generation of electron capture centres by the N and O vacancies;and(ⅲ)the synergistic effect of the S-type heterojunction formed at the interface between the two materials,This study therefore provides new approaches for the use of doping,vacancies,and heterojunctions to induce the efficient degradation of organic pollutants.

Basalts from the Late Carboniferous to Early Permian are extensively developed in the central Lhasa subterrane, southern Tibet. Studying the petrogenesis of these rocks may have implications for the late Paleozoic arc magmatism along the central Lhasa subterrane uncovering more of the evolution of the Sumdo Paleo-Tethys Ocean and its dynamic mechanism. Basalt samples from the Luobadui Formation in the Leqingla area, NW of Linzhou City in the central Lhasa subterrane, southern Tibet exhibit arc-like geochemical signatures in a subduction-zone tectonic setting characterized by high Al_(2)O_(3) and low TiO_(2) contents, fractionated REE patterns with low Nb/La ratios and high LREE concentrations, and negative HFSE anomalies. Based on their higher Th/Ce, Nb/Zr, and lower Ba/Th, Pb/Nd ratios, slightly negative to positive ε_(Nd)(t) values, and the relatively high Sr-Pb isotopic compositions, these samples were probably derived from partial melting of a depleted mantle source of garnet + spinel lherzolite, metasomatized by subducted sediments around 297 Ma. Modeling of the trace elements indicates that these basalts experienced fractional crystallization of olivine, clinopyroxene and minor plagioclase during magma ascent and eruption. It is proposed that these Late Carboniferous–Early Permian basalts are associated with the northward subduction of the Sumdo Paleo-Tethys Ocean seafloor along the southern margin of the central Lhasa subterrane.
