A ternary system of PTFE/Al/Bi_(2)O_(3)is constructed by incorporating PTFE-based reactive material and thermite for enhancing the energy release of the PTFE-based reactive *** effects of Bi_(2)O_(3)in the PTFE/Al/Bi_(2)O_(3)on both mechanical properties and the energy release were investigated through various tests such as thermogravimetry-differential scanning calorimetry,adiabatic oxygen bomb test and split Hopkinson pressure bar *** microstructure observed through scanning electron microscope and Xray diffraction results are used to analyze the ignition and reaction mechanism of PTFE/Al/Bi_(2)O_(3).The results indicate that the PTFE/Al/Bi_(2)O_(3)are capable of triggering the exothermic reaction of molten PTFE/Bi_(2)O_(3)and Al/Bi_(2)O_(3)over the PTFE/Al reactive materials,thereby promoting *** excessive aluminum in the ternary system is beneficial for increasing energy *** ignition of shock-induced chemical reactions in PTFE/Al/Bi_(2)O_(3)is closely related to the material *** dominant mechanism for hot-spot generation under Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar test is the frictional temperature rise at the microcrack after failure.

Soft robotic crawlers have limited payload capacity and crawling *** study proposes a high-performance inchworm-like modular robotic crawler based on fluidic prestressed composite(FPC)*** FPC actuator is precurved and a pneumatic source is used to flatten it,requiring no energy cost to maintain the equilibrium curved *** and depressurizing the actuators generate alternating stretching and bending motions of the actuators,achieving the crawling motion of the robotic ***-modal locomotion(crawling,turning,and pipe climbing)is achieved by modular reconfiguration and gait *** analytical kinematic model is proposed to characterize the quasi-static curvature and step size of a single-module *** configurations of robotic crawlers are fabricated to demonstrate the crawling ability of the proposed design.A set of systematic experiments are set up and conducted to understand how crawler responses vary as a function of FPC prestrains,input pressures,and actuation *** per the experiments,the maximum carrying load ratio(carrying load divided by robot weight)is found to be 22.32,and the highest crawling velocity is 3.02 body length(BL)per second(392 mm/s).Multi-modal capabilities are demonstrated by reconfiguring three soft crawlers,including a matrix crawler robot crawling in amphibious environments,and an inching crawler turning at an angular velocity of 2/s,as well as earthworm-like crawling robots climbing a 20 inclination slope and pipe.

The Carbonate Compensation Depth(CCD)refers to the depth within the ocean where the production and dissolution rates of carbonates reach equilibrium,widely likened to the oceanic calcareous‘snowline’.The reconstruction of deep-time CCD has significant implications for understanding ocean circulation,seawater chemical conditions,sediment distribution,and the surface carbon *** paper critically reviews the methods for CCD reconstruction,summarizes the driving mechanisms of the Cenozoic CCD evolution and its association with the carbon cycle,and offers insights into future directions for CCD *** reconstruction has evolved over the past half century from early qualitative to quantitative *** methodological improvements have markedly improved the accuracy and resolution of *** studies have indicated a general trend of the CCD deepening across major ocean basins since the Cenozoic,interspersed with a minor shallowing phase during the *** variations in the CCD are primarily influenced by factors such as ocean productivity,weathering,and shelf-basin *** climate events such as the Paleocene-Eocene Thermal Maximum,the CCD exhibits pulselike *** research should focus on precision and quantification while integrating model simulations to further explore the correlations and response mechanisms between the CCD and the paleoclimate as well as the carbon cycle.

The uniaxial compressive strength(UCS)of rocks is a critical index for evaluating the mechanical properties and construction of an engineering rock mass classification *** most commonly used method for determining the UCS in laboratory settings is expensive and *** this reason,UCS can be estimated using an indirect determination method based on several simple laboratory tests,including point-load strength,rock density,longitudinal wave velocity,Brazilian tensile strength,Schmidt hardness,and shore *** this study,six data sets of indices for different rock types were utilized to predict the UCS using three nonlinear combination models,namely back propagation(BP),particle swarm optimization(PSO),and least squares support vector machine(LSSVM).Moreover,the best prediction model was examined and selected based on four performance prediction *** results reveal that the PSO–LSSVM model was more successful than the other two models due to its higher performance *** ratios of the predicted UCS to the measured UCS for the six data sets were 0.954,0.982,0.9911,0.9956,0.9995,and 0.993,*** results were more reasonable when the predicted ratio was close to a value of approximately 1.

High-throughput computing(HTC) is a computing paradigm that aims to accomplish jobs by easily breaking them into smaller,independent ***,it requires a large amount of computing power for a long *** existing HTC frameworks are job-oriented without support for coscheduling with hardware architecture and task-level ***,most of the frameworks reach a limited scale,and their usability needs further ***,we present HTDcr,a job execution framework for the HTC on *** study aims to improve the throughput,task dispatching,and usability of the *** detail,the throughput optimizations include a sophisticated designed task management system,a hierarchical scheduler,and the co-optimization of the task-scheduling strategy with the application and hardware *** optimizations for usability include a programable execution workflow,mechanisms for more robust and reliable service qualities,and a fine-grained resource allocation system for the colocation of multiple *** to our evaluations,HTDcr can achieve outstanding scalability and high throughput on large-scale clusters for the HTC *** evaluate HTDcr with several microbenchmarks and real-world applications on Tianhe-2 and Sunway TaihuLight to demonstrate its effects on existing design *** instance,the task scheduling for two real-world applications integrated with the application and hardware characteristics achieves 1.7× and 1.9× speedups over the basic task-scheduling strategy.

The practice of shale oil exploration and development all over the world has shown that reservoir quality is a key factor restricting oil and gas production， the study of ultra-deep (4 500 m) reservoirs in petroliferous basins is a hot spot for oil and gas exploration in the world today. In this paper， taking the Fengcheng Formation (P1f) in Mahu Sag of Junggar Basin as an example， through experiments such as geochemistry， whole rock analysis， FE-SEM， N2 adsorption， and CO2 adsorption， the lithofacies are separated， and the pore structure properties of the various lithofacies are compared. Discuss the primary influencing elements that lead to pore structure differences. The results reveal that the shale of the P1f can be separated into four lithofacies (namely felsic shale， mixed shale， lime shale and dolomitic shale)， according to the mineral composition. The shale pores of P1f develop intergranular pores， intragranular pores， organic pores and micro-fractures. Among them， intergranular pores， intragranular pores and micro-fractures are the most developed， and the pore size is larger， which is a favorable storage space. Different lithofacies have different pore development characteristics. With the change of lithofacies (mixed shale - dolomitic shale - lime shale - felsic shale)， the size of the developed pores changes from small to large， and the pore structure changes from "Mainly microporous" to "mainly macropores". The felsic shale has developed laminae， mainly mesopores and macropores， with the largest pore diameter and the highest content of brittle minerals， which is the dominant lithofacies in the shale oil reservoir of the P1f. TOC， felsic and clay minerals all affect the pore development of shale in the P1f， but the influence of organic matter and inorganic minerals on pore volume varies with pore size. Chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T-cell therapy has demonstrated clinical response in treating both hematologic malignancies and solid *** instances of rapid tumor remissions have been observed in animal models and clinical trials,tumor relapses occur with multiple therapeutic resistance ***,while the mechanisms underlying the long-term therapeutic resistance are well-known,short-term adaptation remains less ***,more views shed light on short-term adaptation and hold that it provides an opportunity window for long-term *** this study,we explore a previously unreported mechanism in which tumor cells employ trogocytosis to acquire CAR molecules from CAR-T cells,a reversal of previously documented *** mechanism results in the depletion of CAR molecules and subsequent CAR-T cell dysfunction,also leading to short-term antigen loss and antigen *** type of intercellular communication is independent of CAR downstream signaling,CAR-T cell condition,target antigen,and tumor cell ***,it is mainly dependent on antigen density and CAR sensitivity,and is associated with tumor cell cholesterol *** mitigation of this trogocytosis-induced CAR molecule transfer can be achieved by adaptively administering CAR-T cells with antigen density-individualized CAR ***,our study reveals a dynamic process of CAR molecule transfer and refining the framework of clinical CAR-T therapy for solid tumors.
