Progress in the fast charging of high-capacity silicon monoxide(SiO)-based anode is currently hindered by insufficient conductivity and notable volume *** construction of an interface conductive network effectively addresses the aforementioned problems;however,the impact of its quality on lithium-ion transfer and structure durability is yet to be ***,the influence of an interface conductive network on ionic transport and mechanical stability under fast charging is explored for the first time.2D modeling simulation and Cryo-transmission electron microscopy precisely reveal the mitigation of interface polarization owing to a higher fraction of conductive inorganic species formation in bilayer solid electrolyte interphase is mainly responsible for a linear decrease in ionic diffusion energy ***,atomic force microscopy and Raman shift exhibit substantial stress dissipation generated by a complete conductive network,which is critical to the linear reduction of electrode residual *** study provides insights into the rational design of optimized interface SiO-based anodes with reinforced fast-charging performance.

Identification of P-type plasma membrane H^(+)-ATPases in common wheat and characterization of TaHA7 associated with seed dormancy and germination

Recognition and rejection of foreign eggs of different colors in Barn Swallows

Brood parasitic birds lay eggs in the nests of other birds,and the parasitized hosts can reduce the cost of raising unrelated offspring through the recognition of parasitic *** can adopt vision-based cognitive mechanisms to recognize foreign eggs by comparing the colors of foreign and host ***,there is currently no uniform conclusion as to whether this comparison involves the single or multiple threshold decision *** this study,we tested both hypotheses by adding model eggs of different colors to the nests of Barn Swallows(Hirundo rustica)of two geographical populations breeding in Hainan and Heilongjiang Provinces in *** showed that Barn Swallows rejected more white model eggs(moderate mimetic to their own eggs)and blue model eggs(highly non-mimetic eggs with shorter reflectance spectrum)than red model eggs(highly nonmimetic eggs with longer reflectance spectrum).There was no difference in the rejection rate of model eggs between the two populations of Barn Swallows,and clutch size was not a factor affecting egg *** results are consistent with the single rejection threshold *** study provides strong experimental evidence that the color of model eggs can has an important effect on egg recognition in Barn Swallows,opening up new avenues to uncover the evolution of cuckoo egg mimicry and explore the cognitive mechanisms underlying the visual recognition of foreign eggs by hosts.

Global-local combined features to detect pain intensity from facial expression images with attention mechanism

The estimation of pain intensity is critical for medical diagnosis and treatment of *** the development of image monitoring technology and artificial intelligence,automatic pain assessment based on facial expression and behavioral analysis shows a potential value in clinical *** paper reports a framework of convolutional neural network with global and local attention mechanism(GLA-CNN)for the effective detection of pain intensity at four-level thresholds using facial expression ***-CNN includes two modules,namely global attention network(GANet)and local attention network(LANet).LANet is responsible for extracting representative local patch features of faces,while GANet extracts whole facial features to compensate for the ignored correlative features between *** the end,the global correlational and local subtle features are fused for the final estimation of pain *** under the UNBC-McMaster Shoulder Pain database demonstrate that GLA-CNN outperforms other state-of-the-art ***,a visualization analysis is conducted to present the feature map of GLA-CNN,intuitively showing that it can extract not only local pain features but also global correlative facial *** study demonstrates that pain assessment based on facial expression is a non-invasive and feasible method,and can be employed as an auxiliary pain assessment tool in clinical practice.

Three-channel CMOS transimpedance amplifier for LiDAR sensor receiver

For time-of-flight(TOF)light detection and ranging(LiDAR),a three-channel high-performance transimpedance amplifier(TIA)with high immunity to input load capacitance is presented.A regulated cascade(RGC)as the input stage is at the core of the complementary metal oxide semiconductor(CMOS)circuit chip,giving it more immunity to input photodiode detectors.A simple smart output interface acting as a feedback structure,which is rarely found in other designs,reduces the chip size and power consumption *** circuit is designed using a 0.5μm CMOS process technology to achieve low *** device delivers a 33.87 dB?transimpedance gain at 350 *** a higher input load capacitance,it shows a-3 dB bandwidth of 461 MHz,indicating a better detector tolerance at the front end of the *** a 3.3 V supply voltage,the device consumes 5.2 mW,and the total chip area with three channels is 402.8×597.0μm2(including the test pads).

Multicomponent self-assembled chiral systems have attracted great attention due to their promising application in the area of spin-photonics and *** this work,through introducing an achiral third component into an achiral binary crystal,a chiral organic ternary crystal is fabricated,where both pronounced chiral-optical coupling and magnetic field dependence of chiral-optical activities are *** transformation of achiral structure into chiral structure generates a significant effect on the polarized state of light and the electron spin resonance ***,the coupling between circularly polarized photon and spin is observed in chiral ternary crystal with pronounced chiral orbit,where obvious magnetic field-transmissivity loop is ***,temperature could increase the magnitude of lattice parameters to lead to a larger helix radius to increase the chiral orbit ***,this work indicates that the further exploration of photon-chiral orbit-spin interactions in organic chiral ternary crystals is promising.

An overview and perspective of identifying lunar craters

The spatiotemporal evolution of lunar impact craters is crucial for investigating lunar interior structure,internal and external dynamic processes,and interplanetary impact *** in lunar crater identification are reviewed based on topography and gravity data,and the features and mechanisms of topographic or buried craters are analyzed regarding morphology,gravity anomalies,gravity gradients,and the underlying crust-mantle interface *** on the compiled crater catalog,the early lunar impact flux and thermal evolution are further discussed according to the basin ages and their interior *** some ancient impact basins,the crater size-frequency distribution measurements revealed age discrepancies from previous studies,suggesting that the lunar late heavy bombardment event started at~3.95 *** degraded bulge structures of the crust-mantle interface beneath mare basins reveal that these basins formed on the lunar crust surface under high-temperature conditions and underwent prolonged relaxation compared to highland ***,we reveal that the up-to-date identification of lunar buried craters remains inaccurate and incomplete,preventing us from accurately reconstructing lunar and interplanetary impact ***,we propose that a gravity model constructed using localized orthogonal basis functions can be useful for identifying lunar craters.

In recent years,paternity testing in ethnic minority areas in China increases ***,the number of existing genetic markers does not meet the *** objective is to study the information of 22 genetic markers in Mongolian,Tibetan,and Uygur *** genetic polymorphism of 22 short tandem repeat(STR)loci(D10S1435,D11S2368,D12S391,D13S325,D14S608,D15S659,D16S539,D17S1290,D18S535,D19S253,D1S1656,D20S470,D21S1270,D22GATA198B05,D2S1338,D3S3045,D4S2366,D5S2500,D6S477,D7S3048,D8S1132,and D9S925)was estimated in 259 Uyghur,251 Tibetan,and 250 Inner Mongolian individuals from China who were all *** frequencies and forensic parameters were *** Hardy-weinberg equilibrium(HWE)of each locus and the linkage disequilibrium(LD)for all pairwise STR loci were ***,the Nei's genetic distance was used to estimate the genetic heterogeneity between Tibetan,Uyghur,Mongolian,Chinese Northern Han and Chinese Li *** 22 loci showed high genetic polymorphism in the three ethnic *** exact test for the genotype distribution of the markers showed no significant deviation from *** 22 STR loci could be treated as independent loci at the population level in these three ethnic *** short genetic distances were found between the Mongolian and Han and Uygur *** 22 loci had no LD in the three ethnic groups and showed high heterozygosity,providing genetic information and forensic statistics for the Uyghur,Tibetan,and Inner Mongolian *** 22 STR loci will be useful for identification and kinship analysis in these three populations in China.

Discriminative low-rank embedding with manifold constraint for image feature extraction and classification

The robustness against noise, outliers, and corruption is a crucial issue in image feature extraction. To address this concern, this paper proposes a discriminative low-rank embedding image feature extraction algorithm. Firstly, to enhance the discriminative power of the extracted features, a discriminative term is introduced using label information, obtaining global discriminative information and learning an optimal projection matrix for data dimensionality reduction. Secondly, manifold constraints are incorporated, unifying low-rank embedding and manifold constraints into a single framework to capture the geometric structure of local manifolds while considering both local and global information. Finally, test samples are projected into a lower-dimensional space for classification. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves classification accuracies of 95.62%, 95.22%, 86.38%, and 86.54% on the ORL, CMUPIE, AR, and COIL20 datasets, respectively, outperforming dimensionality reduction-based image feature extraction algorithms.
