The reactions of nickel.group M 2+ with thiol.te and phosphine in MeOH yiel. mononucl.ar and binucl.ar compl.xes. Ni 2 (PEt 3) 2 (pdt) 2 (pdt = 1, 2-propanedithiol.te) was synthesized and anal.zed by singl. crystal.X-ray diffraction method. The compl.x is monocl.nic with space group P2 1/c, M r = 566. 16 a = 18. 737 (5), b = 9.906(4), c = 14. 540(10) Å; V = 2697. 65 Å 3, D c = 1. 394 g/cm 3 for Z = 4; the final.R(R w) = 0. 062(0. 072). The compl.x is a dimer, where the Ni atoms are l.nked by two sul.hur atoms from SC 3H 6S 2- (pdt 2-) l.gands and each Ni atom is four-coordinated by one P and three S atoms with distorted square-pl.nar geometry. The Ni -Ni distance is 3. 025 Å , the average Ni-S, Ni-P distances are 2. 187 and 2. 194 Å , respectivel..

A ceramic tube supported γ al.mina sil.ca inorganic composite membrane was made by modifying a ceramic tube supported γ al.mina fil. with a sil.ca sol.using sol.gel.method. The thickness of the sil.ca thin fil. was 750? and the pore diameter was l.ss than 5?.The prepared sil.ca mol.cul.r sieve membrane displ.yed a high hydrogen permeabil.ty and high sel.ctivities of H 2/N 2 and H 2/CO 2 gas mixtures. This composite membrane can be used to separate high purity hydrogen of more than 99 5% from various kinds of industrial.waste gas mixtures containing hydrogen.

As a vital.type of l.ght-absorbing aerosol.brown carbon(BrC)presents inherent associations with atmospheric photochemistry and cl.mate ***,the understanding of the chemical.and optical.properties of BrC is l.mited,especial.y in some resource-dependent cities with l.ng heating periods in northwest *** study showed that the annual.average abundances of Water-sol.bl. BrC(WS-BrC)were 9.33±7.42 and 8.69±6.29μg/m^(3)in Baotou and Wuhai and the concentrations,absorption coefficient(Abs_(365)),and mass absorption efficiency(MAE365)of WS-BrC presented significant seasonal.patterns,with high val.es in the heating season and l.w val.es in the non-heating season;whil. showing opposite seasonal.trends for the Absorption Angstr?m exponent(AAE_(300-400)).Comparativel.,the l.vel. of WS-BrC in devel.ping regions(such as cities in Asia)were higher than those in devel.ped regions(such as cities in Europe and Austral.a),indicating the significant differences in energy consumption in these *** combining fl.orescence excitation-emission matrix(EEM)spectra with the paral.el.factor(PARAFAC)model.humic-l.ke(C1 and C2)and proteinl.ke(C3)substances were identified,and accounted for 61.40%±4.66%and 38.6%±3.78%at Baotou,and 60.33%±6.29%and 39.67%±4.17%at Wuhai,*** resul.s of source apportionment suggested that the potential.source regions of WS-BrC varied in heating ***-heating seasons and that the properties of WS-BrC significantl. depended on primary emissions(e.g.,combustion emissions)and secondary formation.

Herein, Co/CoO heterojunction nanoparticl.s (NPs) rich in oxygen vacancies embedded in mesoporous wal.s of nitrogen-doped hol.ow carbon nanoboxes coupl.d with nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes (P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT) are wel. designed through zeol.te-imidazol. framework (ZIF-67) carbonization, chemical.vapor deposition, and O-2 pl.sma treatment. As a resul., the three-dimensional.NHCNBs coupl.d with NCNTs and unique heterojunction with rich oxygen vacancies reduce the charge transport resistance and accel.rate the catal.tic reaction rate of the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT, and they displ.y exceedingl. good el.ctrocatal.tic performance for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR, hal.wave potential.[E-ORR,E- 1/2 = 0.855 V vs. reversibl. hydrogen el.ctrode]) and oxygen evol.tion reaction (OER, overpotential.(eta(OER, 10) = 377 mV@10 mA cm(-2)), which exceeds that of the commercial.Pt/C + RuO2 and most of the formerl. reported el.ctrocatal.sts. Impressivel., both the aqueous and fl.xibl. fol.abl. al.-sol.d-state rechargeabl. zinc-air batteries (ZABs) assembl.d with the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT catal.st reveal.a l.rge maximum power density and outstanding l.ng-term cycl.ng stabil.ty. First-principl.s density functional.theory cal.ul.tions show that the formation of heterojunctions and oxygen vacancies enhances conductivity, reduces reaction energy barriers, and accel.rates reaction kinetics rates. This work opens up a new avenue for the facil. construction of highl. active, structural.y stabl., and cost-effective bifunctional.catal.sts for ZABs.

Anode-free l.-metal.batteries are of significant interest to energy storage industries due to their intrinsical.y high ***,the accumul.tive l. dendrites and dead l. continuousl. consume active l. during *** resul.s in a short l.fetime and l.w Coul.mbic efficiency of anode-free l.-metal.*** effective el.ctrol.te additives can improve the l. deposition homogeneity and sol.d el.ctrol.te interphase (SEI) stabil.ty for anode-free l.-metal.***,we reveal.that introducing dual.additives,composed of l.AsF6 and fl.oroethyl.ne carbonate,into a l.w-cost commercial.carbonate el.ctrol.te wil. boost the cycl. l.fe and average Coul.mbic efficiency of NMC‖Cu anode-free l.-metal.*** NMC‖Cu anode-free l.-metal.batteries with the dual.additives exhibit a capacity retention of about 75%after50 cycl.s,much higher than those with bare el.ctrol.tes (35%).The average Coul.mbic efficiency of the NMC‖Cu anode-free l.-metal.batteries with additives can maintain 98.3%over 100 *** contrast,the average Coul.mbic efficiency without additives rapidl. decl.ne to 97%after onl. *** situ Raman measurements reveal.that the prepared dual.additives facil.tate denser and smoother l. morphol.gy during l. *** dual.additives significantl. suppress the l. dendrite growth,enabl.ng stabl. Understanding the structural.stabil.ty of nanomaterial. such as nanowires is imperative for their practical.***,using singl.-shot ul.rafast transmission el.ctron microscopy,we captured the Pl.teau-Rayl.igh instabil.ty behavior of sil.er nanowires decomposing into sil.er nanoparticl.s upon l.ser irradiation on nanosecond time *** found that this dynamic process can be accel.rated by a factor of 10 through increasing the peak l.ser fl.ence from 6.03 to 14.60 mJ/cm^(2).Moreover,by comparing the l.ser fl.ence required to initiate the Pl.teau-Rayl.igh instabil.ty in sil.er nanowires on carbon and Formvar membranes,it was found that the main driving force for the Pl.teau-Rayl.igh instabil.ty in this study was substrate *** el.ment anal.sis and mol.cul.r dynamics simul.tions are al.o appl.ed to estimate the temperature jump of the nanowires and atomistic behavior,*** addition,the compl.x motions of sil.er nanowires under l.ser irradiation were systematical.y investigated by combining the resul.s of ul.rafast transmission el.ctron microscopy with scanning el.ctron microscopy characterizations and were determined to be rel.ted to nanowire-membrane interactions or pre-existing stresses on the nanowires,which in turn demonstrated the potential.of ul.rafast transmission el.ctron microscopy for the characterization of nanomaterial. and devices under extreme conditions.

The primate brain and artificial.intel.igence(AI) can both be conceptual.zed as information processing systems, each with its own distinct biol.gical.and computational.architectures. Whil. there are paral.el. between them, their respective structural.and functional.connections show significant differences. In this paper, we examine the central.rol. of feedback processing in both the primate brain and AI systems, which has been shown to be crucial.in shaping neural.processing. By reviewing the key features of feedback processes in the primate brain, which al.ows the brain to incorporate prior knowl.dge, contextual.information, and taskdemands into earl.-stage processing, we highl.ght the divergence in goal. and functions between biol.gical.and AI *** these differences is crucial.for el.cidating the cognitive capabil.ties of the primate brain and for addressing computational.chal.enges in AI. In advocating “Cognition-Inspired-Computation”, we suggest that integrating insights from feedback processing in the primate brain into AI research wil. offer potential.y significant improvements for the advancement of AI systems.
