A bifunctional wood membrane modified by MoS_(2)/covalent organic framework heterojunctions for effective solar-driven water evaporation and contaminant degradation

Interfacial solar evaporation technology is considered one of the most promising strategies for alleviating the scarcity of freshwater resources.However,solar-driven evaporation technology cannot eliminate the pollutants in the residual wastewater.To solve this problem,we have prepared a two-in-one solar-driven evaporation/photocatalysis system by decorating MoS_(2)/covalent organic framework(COF)heterojunctions on wood(MoS_(2)/COF-wood).Thanks to the unique porous structure of wood,it provides a strong guarantee for water transport and vapor release during the evaporation process.The introduction of MoS_(2) and COFs can promote the breaking of hydrogen bonds between water molecules,which leads to a significant decrease in the enthalpy of evaporation,achieving a water evaporation rate as high as 2.17 kg m^(-2)h^(-1)under 1 sun irradiation.Meanwhile,the resulting MoS_(2)/COF-wood exhibits good salt resistance and reusability.In addition,the heterojunctions formed between COFs and MoS_(2) can effectively inhibit charge carrier complexation and improve the photocatalytic degradation ability of pollutants(over 99%).This study highlights the construction strategy of bifunctional wood-based materials for freshwater production and wastewater remediation.

Constructing an ion‐oriented channel on a zinc electrode through surface engineering

The inherent shortcomings of a zinc anode in aqueous zinc‐ion batteries(ZIBs)such as zinc dendrites and side reactions severely limit their practical application.Herein,to address these issues,an ion‐oriented transport channel constructed by graphdiyne(GDY)nanowalls is designed and grown in situ on the surface of a zinc electrode.The vertically stacked GDY nanowalls with a unique hierarchical porous structure and mechanical properties form a nanomesh‐like interface on the zinc electrode,acting as an ion‐oriented channel,which can efficiently confine the segmented growth of zinc metal in microscopic regions of hundreds of nanometers.In those microscopic regions,the uniform domain current density is effortlessly maintained compared with a large surface area,thereby inhibiting zinc dendrites effectively.Besides,due to the presence of the ion‐oriented channel,the modified zinc anode demonstrates long‐term stable zinc plating/stripping performance for more than 600 h at 1 mAh cm^(−2)in an aqueous electrolyte.In addition,full‐cells coupled with MnO2 show high specific capacity and power density,as well as excellent cycling stability with a capacity retention of 82%after 5000 cycles at 1 A g^(−1).This work provides a feasible and accessible surface engineering approach to modify the electrode interface for confined and dendrite‐free zinc deposition in aqueous ZIBs.

Mesopause temperatures and relative densities at midlatitudes observed by the Mengcheng meteor radar

The atmospheric temperatures and densities in the mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT)region are essential for studying the dynamics and climate of the middle and upper atmosphere.In this study,we present more than 9 years of mesopause temperatures and relative densities estimated by using ambipolar diffusion coefficient measurements observed by the Mengcheng meteor radar(33.4°N,116.5°E).The intercomparison between the meteor radar and Thermosphere Ionosphere Mesosphere Energetics and Dynamics/Sounding of the Atmosphere by Broadband Emission Radiometry(TIMED/SABER)and Earth Observing System(EOS)Aura/Microwave Limb Sounder(MLS)observations indicates that the meteor radar temperatures and densities agree well with the simultaneous satellite measurements.Annual variations dominate the mesopause temperatures,with the maximum during winter and the minimum during summer.The mesopause relative densities also show annual variations,with strong maxima near the spring equinox and weak maxima before the winter solstice,and with a minimum during summer.In addition,the mesopause density exhibits a structure similar to that of the zonal wind:as the zonal wind flows eastward(westward),the mesopause density decreases(increases).At the same time,the meridional wind shows a structure similar to that of the mesopause temperature:as the meridional wind shows northward(southward)enhancements,the mesopause temperature increases(decreases).Simultaneous horizontal wind,temperature,and density observations provide multiple mesospheric parameters for investigating mesospheric dynamics and thermodynamic processes and have the potential to improve widely used empirical atmospheric models.

A meteor radar chain located along the 120°E meridian in the Northern Hemisphere from low to middle latitudes provides longterm horizontal wind observations of the mesosphere and lower thermosphere(MLT)region.In this study,we report a seasonal variation and its latitudinal feature in the horizontal mean wind in the MLT region observed by six meteor radar instruments located at Mohe(53.5°N,122.3°E),Beijing(40.3°N,116.2°E),Mengcheng(33.4°N,116.5°E),wuhan(30.6°N,114.4°E),Kunming(25.6°N,108.3°E),and Fuke(19.5°N,109.1°E)stations.In addition,we compare the wind in the MLT region measured by the meteor radar stations with those simulated by the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model(WACCM).In general,the WACCM appears to capture well the seasonal and latitudinal variations in the zonal wind component.In particular,the temporal evolution of the eastward zonal wind maximum shifts from July to May as the latitude decreases.However,the simulated WACCM meridional wind exhibits differences from the meteor radar observations.

The clearwater obtained from stabilized oily wastewater has become a worldwide challenge.Nowdays,the area of oil/water emulsion separation materials have accomplished great progress,but still faces the enormous problems of low flux,poor stability,and pollution resistance.Nanocelluloses(cellulose nanocrystals(CNC))with the advantages of hydrophilicity,ecofriendliness,and regeneration are ideal materials for the construction of separation membranes.In this paper,a flexible,antifouling,and durable nanocellulose-based membrane functionalized by block copolymer(poly(N-isopropylacrylamide)-b-poly(N,Ndimethylaminoethyl methacrylate))is prepared via chemical modification and self-assembly,showing high separation efficiency(above 99.6%)for stabilized oil-in-water emulsions,excellent anti-fouling and cycling stability,high-temperature resistance,and acid and alkali resistance.More importantly,the composite membrane has ultra-high flux in separating oil-in-water emulsions(29,003 L·m^(−2)·h^(−1)·bar^(−1))and oil/water mixture(51,444 L·m^(−2)·h^(−1)·bar^(−1)),which ensures high separation efficiency.With its durability,easy scale-up,and green regeneration,we envision this biomass-derived membrane will be an alternative to the existing commercial filter membrane in environmental remediation.

Role of CST1 in Promoting Gastric Cancer Metastasis and Analysis of Its Mechanism

Objective:To elucidate the role and mechanism of cysteine protease inhibitor SN(CST1)in promoting the metastasis of gastric cancer.Methods:(1)Firstly,6 pairs of cancer and paracancer tissue samples from gastric cancer patients without distant metastasis and 5 pairs of cancer and paracancer tissue samples from gastric cancer patients with peritoneal metastasis were collected for transcriptome sequencing.Statistical analysis was performed on the sequencing results to identify significantly upregulated differential genes.(2)Another 75 pairs of cancer and paracancer tissue samples were collected from gastric cancer patients,and the protein and total RNA of gastric cancer tissue samples were extracted.Western blot and quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR)were used to detect the expression of CST1 protein and messenger RNA(mRNA)in gastric cancer and adjacent tissues.(3)The total protein and total RNA of AGS,BGC823,HGC-27,MGC803,MKN45,SGC7901,and SNU-1 gastric cancer cells and normal gastric mucosal epithelial cells GES-1 were extracted.Western blot and qRT-PCR were used to detect CST1 protein and mRNA expression.Results:(1)The significantly upregulated differential gene CST1 was screened,and the expression of CST1 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues.(2)Compared with normal gastric mucosal epithelial cells GES-1,the expression of CST1 in gastric cancer cell lines was upregulated,and the expression of CST1 in HGC-27 and SNU-1 was relatively low,while the expression of CST1 in AGS and MKN45 was relatively high.At the same time,a stable cell line of HGC-27 overexpressing CST1 and MKN45 knocking down CST1 was successfully constructed.(3)Overexpression or knockdown of CST1 did not significantly change the proliferation ability of gastric cancer cells,but can promote the migration and invasion of gastric cancer cells.(4)CST1 may promote the metastasis of gastric cancer cells by activating the epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)signaling pathway.Co

瞬态抑制二极管是一种常见的电磁防护器件,在静电防护、浪涌防护、强电磁脉冲防护中有着广泛应用,其瞬态行为对于指导电磁防护设计具有重要意义,但市面上一般没有现成可用的模型。文中基于ADS软件建立一种无回跳特性TVS的仿真模型,使用复杂度较低的TVS模型框架。在建模过程中,分析了模型参数对于精度的影响,并利用S参数测试方法和TLP测试方法获取实测数据,最终构建了两款TVS的完整仿真模型。模型验证结果表明,该模型仿真与实测数据在TVS未工作、即将工作和进入工作状态时都较为一致,仿真与实测误差最大不超过10%,说明其精度足够支撑TVS瞬态仿真。所建立的模型可直接用于TVS的瞬态仿真,该方法也可用于其他无回跳特性TVS的模型构建,为电磁防护设计提供支持。
