Triboelectric nanogenerators(TENGs)have emerged as a promising approach for generating electricity and providing electrical stimuli in medical electronic *** their potential benefits,the clinical implementation of TENGs faces challenges such as skin compliance and a lack of comprehensive assessment regarding their biosafety and ***,further research is imperative to overcome these limitations and unlock the full potential of TENGs in various biomedical *** this study,we present a flexible silk fibroin-based triboelectric nanogenerator(SFB-TENG)that features an on-skin substrate and is characterized by excellent skin compliance and air/water *** range of electrical output generated by the SFB-TENG was shown to facilitate the migration and proliferation of Hy926,NIH-3T3 and RSC96 ***,apoptosis of fibroblast NIH-3T3 cells was observed when the output voltage increased to more than 20 V at a frequency of 2 *** addition,the moderate electrical stimulation provided by the SFB-TENG promoted the cell proliferation cycle in Hy926 *** research highlights the efficacy of a TENG system featuring a flexible and skin-friendly design,as well as its safe operating conditions for use in biomedical *** findings position TENGs as highly promising candidates for practical applications in the field of tissue regeneration.

Biocompatible devices are widely employed in modernized lives and medical fields in the forms of wearable and implantable devices,raising higher requirements on the battery biocompatibility,high safety,low cost,and excellent electrochemical performance,which become the evaluation criteria toward developing feasible biocompatible ***,through conducting the battery implantation tests and leakage scene simulations on New Zealand rabbits,zinc sulfate electrolyte is proved to exhibit higher biosecurity and turns out to be one of the ideal zinc salts for biocompatible zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs).Furthermore,in order to mitigate the notorious dendrite growth and hydrogen evolution in mildly acidic electrolyte as well as improve their operating stability,Sn hetero nucleus is introduced to stabilize the zinc anode,which not only facilitates the planar zinc deposition,but also contributes to higher hydrogen evolution ***,a long lifetime of 1500 h for the symmetrical cell,the specific capacity of 150 mAh g^(-1)under 0.5 A g^(-1)for the Zn-MnO_(2)battery and 212 mAh g^(-1)under 5 A g^(-1)for the Zn—NH4V4O10 battery are *** work may provide unique perspectives on biocompatible ZIBs toward the biosecurity of their cell components.

以杭州市余杭区乡村建设为例,借鉴城市智慧建设应用取得的成果,利用现代信息技术和GIS相关技术,创新智慧乡村建设,为消除城乡二元格局、实现城乡一体化发展搭建起一体化平台。该平台结合“孪生城市”建设思路,采用多源数据融合技术,构建数字乡村“一张图”,实现了乡村自然风貌、乡村自然资源、旅游景点、规划用地状况的统一管理;采用乡村网格化管理方式,完善乡村管理长效机制、提升管理水平、推进社会管理信息化。平台建设弥补了乡村共同富裕目标建设中信息资源利用、信息化程度、公共服务能力等方面的不足,为杭州市乡村的进阶式发展和新型城镇化建设提供理论支撑,也为具体建设杭州市智慧乡村管理平台提供范式。

Pretreatment with Dingnaofang reduces vascular endothelial cell apoptosis induced by cerebral ischemia/perfusion injury

BACKGROUND： Vascular endothelial cell apoptosis participates in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury, and the method of Qi-supplementation and blood-activation has remarkable neuroprotective effects against cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. OBJECTIVE： To explore the molecular mechanism that Dingnaofang （Chinese herbs for supplementing Qi and activating blood circulation） inhibits vascular endothelial cell apoptosis induced by cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury. DESIGN, TIME AND SETFING： A randomized controlled animal experiment was performed at the Department of Central Laboratory, Third Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, China, between October 2007 and December 2008. MATERIALS： Dingnaofang consisted of Huangqi （Milkvetch Root; Radix Astragah）, Chuanxiong （Szechwan Lovage Rhizome; Rhizoma Chuanxiong）, Yinxingye （ginkgo leaf; Fofium Ginkgo）, Dilong （earthworm; Pheretima）, Danggui （Chinese Angelica; Radix Angelicae Sinensis）, Tianqi （Radix Notoginseng）, and Gancao （Radix Glycyrrhizae; Radix Glycytthizae）, with a proportion of 5：2：2： 1： 1： 1： 1. METHODS： A total of 130 Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into sham-surgery （n = 10）, cerebral ischemia/reperfusion （n = 40）, cerebral ischemia pretreatment （n = 40） and Dingnaofang pretreatment groups （n = 40）. Middle cerebral artery occlusion was used to induce cerebral ischemic injury. The bilateral common carotid artery in the cerebral ischemia pretreatment group was blocked for 10 minutes on days 7, 3 and 1 prior to ischemia/reperfusion injury, while rats in Dingnaofang pretreatment group were intragastrically administrated with 4 g Dingnaofang 1 week prior to cerebral ischemia once per day, for 7 successive days. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Apoptosis ratios in vascular endothelial cells were measured using Hoechst 33258 staining and flow cytometry; apoptosis was detected by monitoring DNA gradient bands and the activation of caspase-3, 8, 9 and Bid using Western blot. Observation of high ionic conductivity of polyelectrolyte microgels in salt-free solutions

Here, we report an observation that illustrate the potential of polyelectrolyte microgels in salt-free solutions to display a high ionic conductivity. Laser light scattering and ionic conductivity tests on very dilute aqueous dispersions of the microgels indicate that both small size and swollen state of gel particles play vital roles, which should favor the counterions to freely penetrate and leave gel particles, and thus can contribute to the ion-conducting property. Upon discovering this on microgels that are composed of imidazolium-based poly(ionic liquid), we also illustrate the generality of the finding to single lithium-ion polyelectrolyte microgels that are of more technically relevant features for applications, for instance, as injectable liquid “microgel-in-solution” electrolytes of high conductivity(ca. 8.2 × 10^(-2)S/m at 25.0 ℃ for1.0 × 10^(-2)g/m L of microgels in a LiNO_(3)-free 1:1 v/v mixture of 1,2-dioxolane and dimethoxymethane) and high lithium-ion transference number(0.87) for use in the rechargeable lithium-sulfur battery.

Neural network modeling and prediction of HfO2 thin film properties tuned by thermal annealing

Plasma-enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) is gaining interest in thin films for laser applications, and post-annealing treatments are often used to improve thin film properties. However, research to improve thin film properties is often based on an expensive and time-consuming trial-and-error process. In this study, PEALD-HfO2 thin film samples were deposited and treated under different annealing atmospheres and temperatures. The samples were characterized in terms of their refractive indices, layer thicknesses and O/Hf ratios. The collected data were split into training and validation sets and fed to multiple back-propagation neural networks with different hidden layers to determine the best way to construct the process–performance relationship. The results showed that the three-hidden-layer back-propagation neural network (THL-BPNN) achieved stable and accurate fitting. For the refractive index, layer thickness and O/Hf ratio, the THL-BPNN model achieved accuracy values of 0.99, 0.94 and 0.94, respectively, on the training set and 0.99, 0.91 and 0.90, respectively, on the validation set. The THL-BPNN model was further used to predict the laser-induced damage threshold of PEALD-HfO2 thin films and the properties of the PEALD-SiO2 thin films, both showing high accuracy. This study not only provides quantitative guidance for the improvement of thin film properties but also proposes a general model that can be applied to predict the properties of different types of laser thin films, saving experimental costs for process optimization.

Diabetic ischemic wound treatment remains a critical clinical *** plays a significant role in wound healing during all stages of the tissue repair *** that enhance angiogenesis and neovascularization and improve ischemic pathology may promote the healing of poor wounds,particularly diabetic wounds in highly ischemic *** previously identified a cyclic peptide LXW7 that specifically binds to integrinαvβ3 on endothelial progenitor cells(EPCs)and endothelial cells(ECs),activates vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)receptors,and promotes EC growth and *** this study,we designed and synthesized a multi-functional pro-angiogenic molecule by grafting LXW7 and collagen-binding peptides(SILY)to a dermatan sulfate(DS)glycosaminoglycan backbone,named LXW7-DS-SILY,and further employed this multi-functional molecule to functionalize collagen-based extracellular matrix(ECM)*** confirmed that LXW7-DS-SILY modification significantly promoted EPC attachment and growth on the ECM scaffolds in vitro and supported EPC survival in vivo in the ischemic *** applied in an established Zucker Diabetic Fatty(ZDF)rat ischemic skin flap model,LXW7-DS-SILY-functionalized ECM scaffolds loaded with EPCs significantly improved wound healing,enhanced neovascularization and modulated collagen fibrillogenesis in the ischemic ***,this study provides a promising novel treatment to accelerate diabetic ischemic wound healing,thereby reducing limb amputation and mortality of diabetic patients.

As the global elderly population increases,depression within this group has become a significant public health *** exercise has been recognized for its potential to improve depression in the elderly,the benefits,risks,and implementation strategies remain *** review attempts to examine the impact of exercise on depression in older adults,including potential benefits,risks,and suggestions for *** analysis highlights the benefits of aerobic and resistance training,which can significantly alleviate depressive symptoms and enhance overall quality of *** these benefits,the review acknowledges the complexity of the exercise-depression interaction in the elderly,necessitating personalized exercise *** risks,such as muscle and joint pain,are pointed out,emphasizing the importance of tailored,supervised exercise *** review calls for future research to focus on identifying the most effective types of exercise and regimens for this population,considering factors such as age,gender,and existing health ***,it advocates for the inclusion of exercise in comprehensive treatment plans for depression in older adults,viewing it as a promising step toward achieving holistic mental health care in a growing demographic.

目的研究并筛选炎症蛋白在糖尿病皮肤溃疡与普通皮肤溃疡中差异性表达,为深入研究糖尿病皮肤溃疡抗炎促愈药物靶点提供实验依据。方法采集湖南中医药大学第一附属医院11例糖尿病皮肤溃疡患者的组织、12例普通皮肤溃疡患者的组织和11例正常皮肤患者的组织。用酶联免疫吸附(ELISA)法分别检测三组组织中炎症蛋白Toll样受体4(TLR4)、核因子-κB(NF-κB),促炎因子干扰素-γ(IFN-γ)、肿瘤坏死因子-α(TNF-α)、白细胞介素-6(IL-6)、白细胞介素-8(IL-8)、白细胞介素-1β(IL-1β)、巨噬细胞趋化蛋白-1(MCP-1),抗炎因子表皮生长因子(EGF)、白细胞介素-4(IL-4)、白细胞介素-10(IL-10)的含量。结果与正常组织相比,普通溃疡皮肤组织和糖尿病溃疡组织中的TLR4、NF-κB、IFN-γ、TNF-α、IL-1β、IL-6、IL-8、MCP-1和EGF浓度均更高,IL-10浓度更低,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05);与正常组织相比,糖尿病溃疡组织中IL-4浓度更低,差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05);与普通溃疡皮肤组织相比,糖尿病溃疡组织中TLR4、NF-κB和MCP-1浓度更高,IL-4浓度更低,差异均具有统计学意义(均P<0.05)。结论糖尿病患者皮肤溃疡会出现炎症反应,而高糖促进了皮肤溃疡炎症反应,可能与TLR4、NF-κB、MCP-1和IL-4表达异常有关,TLR4/NF-κB信号通路及炎症因子MCP-1和IL-4有望作为糖尿病皮肤溃疡炎症调控的靶点。
