Petrology, Geochemistry and Zircon U-Pb Geochronology of the Xiangshan Group in the Eastern Hexi Corridor Belt: Implications for Provenance and Tectonic Evolution

The eastern Hexi Corridor Belt（HCB） is located in the transitional belt among the Alxa Block,the Qilian Orogenic Belt and the North China Block. Because of its unique tectonic location, the tectonic setting, provenance, and even the age of the sedimentary strata in the eastern HCB during the Early Paleozoic remain controversial. This study analyzes the provenance of the poorly studied Xiangshan Group, discusses its age of development and tectonic setting in the eastern HCB using a combination of petrological, geochemical and LA-ICP-MS U-Pb zircon dating methods. Based on the youngest age peaks and the fossil evidence, we suggest that the Xiangshan Group is Middle Cambrian to Late Ordovician in age. The complexity of the geochemical characteristics and associated diagrams suggests that the early stage of the Xiangshan Group developed in a passive continental margin environment, late in the backarc basin of the eastern HCB. Based on the sandstone detrital composition, whole-rock geochemistry and detrital zircon ages, we conclude that the Xiangshan Group had an early provenance that was mainly from the Qilian Block and a late provenance from the Qilian Block and the western Alxa Block. The eastern HCB and its northern and southern blocks have similar palaeontology, lithology and basement age characteristics to the South China Block. This indicates that the eastern HCB might not have formed in the intra-continental aulacogen of the North China Block during the Early Paleozoic but has a close affinity to eastern Gondwana.

The Changling fault depression passed through three stages of evolution: a period of faulting, a period of subsidence, and an inversion period. The fault lifted the whole area and the formation was eroded during the late Yingcheng formation, the late Nenjiang formation, and the late Mingshui formation. The denudation quantity of eight wells located in the study area is estimated by the interval transit time method and by the formation trend extension method using seismic and drilling data. Inversion back stripping technology with de-compaction correction was used to restore the original sedimentary thickness step by step and to recover the burial history at a single well. Two profiles were selected for the recovery and study of the tectonic evolution. The study confirmed that the primary major gas bearing structure formed due to thermal shrinkage lifting during the late Yingcheng formation. Successive development in a pattern during the late Mingshui formation led to the formation of the primary gas pool. Vertical differential uplift during the late Nenjiang formation formed the Fulongquan structure during the late Paleogene. At this same time a secondary gas pool formed. A large scale reverse developed late in the Mingshui formation that provided the impetus for formation of a secondary gas pool. It is thought that the migration and accumulation of oil and gas was controlled by lithologic character, fracture, and structure. The local uplift in the vicinity of the hydrocarbon recession is most conducive to the collection of hydrocarbon gas.

Genetic causes of oil-rich and oil-poor reservoirs: Implications from two Cenozoic basins in the eastern North China Craton

The Bohai Bay and Hehuai(southern North China) rift basins in the eastern part of the North China Craton are southnorth-adjacent. They have shown synchronous evolutionary processes, and possess generally identical superficial and shallow structural characteristics as well as similar basin areas. However, there is a large difference in the richness of oil resources between the two basins. The Bohai Bay Basin has extremely abundant oil reserves, while commercial oil reserves have not been found in the Hehuai Basin. The deep tectonic structures, magmatic activities, and modern and paleo-geothermal fields of the two basins are significantly different. Compared with the Hehuai Basin, the Bohai Bay Basin has a thinner crust and more complex structure with multiple low-velocity layers. It is also characterized by intense magmatic activity, high modern and paleogeothermal fields, frequent seismic activity, and active deep interactions, small effective elastic thickness of the isotropic lithosphere, and shorter balanced transformation wavelength of the lithosphere with a high likelihood of local compensation. The Hehuai Basin has a simple deep structure and homogeneous crustal composition, with a high likelihood of regional compensation. The characteristics of the deep structures mentioned above are generally similar to those of the southern part of the stable Ordos Basin, except for the smaller crust thickness. This indicates the presence of differences in Mesozoic destruction between the southern and northern zones in the eastern part of the North China Craton. The northern zone was subjected to significant destruction, while the southern zone was subjected to modifications, primarily in the form of local changes in the structures and/or properties of the crust or lithospheric mantle, with the overall structure and stability of the craton kept intact. Mesozoic Tectonothermal Evolution of the Southern Central Asian Orogenic Belt: Evidence from Apatite Fission-Track Thermochronology in Shalazha Mountain, Inner Mongolia

Mesozoic intracontinental orogeny and deformation were widespread within the southern Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB). Chronological constraints remain unclear when assessing the Mesozoic evolution of the central segment of this region. The tectonic belt of Shalazha Mountain located in the center of this region is an ideal place to decode the deformation process. Apatite fission-track(AFT) thermochronology in Shalazha Mountain is applied to constrain the Mesozoic tectonothermal evolution of the central segment of southern CAOB. The bedrock AFT ages range from 161.8 ± 6.9 to 137.0 ± 7.3 Ma, and the first reported detrital AFT obtained from Lower Cretaceous strata shows three age peaks: P1(ca. 178 Ma), P2(ca. 149 Ma) and P3(ca. 105.6 Ma). Bedrock thermal history modeling indicates that Shalazha Mountain have experienced three stages of differential cooling: Late Triassic–Early Jurassic(~230–174 Ma), Late Jurassic–Earliest Cretaceous(~174–135 Ma) and later(~135 Ma). The first two cooling stages are well preserved by the detrital AFT thermochronological result(P1, P2) from the adjacent Lower Cretaceous strata, while P3(ca. 105.6 Ma) records coeval volcanic activity. Furthermore, our data uncover that hanging wall samples cooled faster between the Late Triassic and the Early Cretaceous than those from the footwall of Shalazha thrust fault, which synchronizes with the cooling of the Shalazha Mountain and implies significant two-stage thrust fault activation between ca. 230 and 135 Ma. These new low-temperature thermochronological results from the Shalazha Mountain region and nearby reveal three main phases of differential tectonothermal events representing the Mesozoic reactivation of the central segment of the southern CAOB. In our interpretations, the initial rapid uplift in the Late Triassic was possibly associated with intracontinental orogenesis of the CAOB. Environment perception is one of the most critical technology of intelligent transportation systems(ITS).Motion interaction between multiple vehicles in ITS makes it important to perform multi-object tracking(MOT).However,most existing MOT algorithms follow the tracking-by-detection framework,which separates detection and tracking into two independent segments and limit the global ***,a few algorithms have combined feature extraction into one network;however,the tracking portion continues to rely on data association,and requires com‑plex post-processing for life cycle *** methods do not combine detection and tracking *** paper presents a novel network to realize joint multi-object detection and tracking in an end-to-end manner for ITS,named as global correlation network(GCNet).Unlike most object detection methods,GCNet introduces a global correlation layer for regression of absolute size and coordinates of bounding boxes,instead of ofsetting *** pipeline of detection and tracking in GCNet is conceptually simple,and does not require compli‑cated tracking strategies such as non-maximum suppression and data *** was evaluated on a multivehicle tracking dataset,UA-DETRAC,demonstrating promising performance compared to state-of-the-art detectors and trackers.

Hydrocarbon Geological Conditions and Exploration Potential of Mesozoic–Paleozoic Marine Strata in the South Yellow Sea Basin

No substantial breakthroughs have been made in hydrocarbon exploration of the South Yellow Sea *** is believed that the Mesozoic-Paleozoic marine sedimentary formation in the South Yellow Sea Basin is similar to that in the Sichuan ***,outcrop,drilling,and seismic data were determined and compared with the research results on petroleum geological conditions in the Yangtze land area,and the hydrocarbon geological conditions were analyzed comprehensively from multiple aspects,such as basin evolution and main source rocks,reservoir characteristics,preservation conditions,and structural *** results show that two main stages in the South Yellow Sea Basin(the stable evolution stage of the Mesozoic-Paleozoic marine basin and the Mesozoic-Cenozoic tectonic reformation and basin formation stage)were important for the development and evolution of four sets of main source *** dominated by carbonate rocks,three sets of capping beds with good sealing capability,relatively weak magmatic activity,and multiple types of structural traps jointly constituted relatively good hydrocarbon-reservoir-forming *** were four sets of main source-reservoir-cap assemblages and three possible hydrocarbon reservoir types(primary residual-type hydrocarbon reservoir,shallow reformed-type hydrocarbon reservoir,and composite-type hydrocarbon reservoir)developed in the marine *** is concluded that the marine strata in the South Yellow Sea Basin have relatively good hydrocarbon *** Laoshan Uplift is characterized by stable structure,complete preserved source reservoir cap assemblage,and large structural traps,and thus it is the preferred prospect zone for marine Paleozoic hydrocarbon exploration in this area.

In autonomous driving,target tracking is essential to environmental *** study of target tracking algorithms can improve the accuracy of an autonomous driving vehicle’s perception,which is of great significance in ensuring the safety of autonomous driving and promoting the landing of technical *** study focuses on the fusion tracking algorithm based on visible and infrared *** proposed approach utilizes a feature-level image fusion method,dividing the tracking process into two components:image fusion and target *** unsupervised network,Visible and Infrared image Fusion Network(VIF-net),is employed for visible and infrared image fusion in the image fusion *** the target tracking part,Siamese Region Proposal Network(SiamRPN),based on deep learning,tracks the target with fused *** fusion tracking algorithm is trained and evaluated on the visible infrared image dataset *** results demonstrate that the algorithm outperforms training networks solely based on visible images,proving that the fusion of visible and infrared images in the target tracking algorithm can improve the accuracy of the target tracking even if it is like tracking-based visual *** improvement is also attributed to the algorithm’s ability to extract infrared image features,augmenting the target tracking accuracy.

Qualitative and quantitative analyses of the effects of navigation systems and signal countdown timers on driving behavior

Advances in in-vehicle assisted driving technologies provide new opportunities for improving driving performance and traffic efficiency. Human-machine interfaces (HMIs)， navigation systems， and signal countdown timers (SCTs) have changed driver behavior. Although many researchers have attempted to examine the effectiveness of SCT systems， numerous HMI concepts have not been validated. For example， the quantitative impact of SCTs on driving patterns in daily driving tasks remains unclear. Therefore， the objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of an HMI navigation system and an SCT on the driver’s visual interaction， performance， and behavioral patterns. Three driving tasks were considered: a baseline (without information prompts)， navigation system (with information from a navigation system)， and navigation + SCT (with information from a navigation system and an SCT). An experimental study was conducted with 35 participants in a static high-fidelity driving simulator. Data on the driver's visual attention， operating characteristics， and vehicle kinematics were collected. A non-parametric test was used to analyze the human-machine interaction characteristics and driving performance. A Bayesian non-parametric driving model was constructed， and a text clustering algorithm was used to distinguish different driving patterns. The results indicated that providing information from the navigation and SCT systems improved driving performance significantly， whereas providing only information from the navigation system improved driving performance negligibly. Drivers required different information in different traffic light phases， and the most information was needed when the light was green. The proposed driving model could distinguish seven driving patterns during an intersection approach.
