Automated,economical,and environmentally-friendly asphalt mix design based on machine learning and multi-objective grey wolf optimization

The increasing impact of the greenhouse effect on ecosystems is prompting transportation agencies to seek methods for reducing CO_(2)emissions during pavement construction and ***,the laboratory mix design process,w.ich involves selecting aggregate gradation and binder content,is time-consuming and *** accelerate the traditional mix design procedure,this study presented a mix design procedure that can automatically determine gradation and binder content based on machine learning(ML)and a meta-heuristic ***,ML approaches were employed to model the relationship between volumetric properties(mixture bulk specific gravity(Gmb)and air void(VV))and both mixture component properties and mixture proportion,based on a dataset collected from literature with 660 mixture *** with the prediction of ML models and the modified multi-objective grey wolf optimization(MOGwO)algorithm,an automatic asphalt mix design was proposed to pursue three goals,including VV,cost,and CO_(2)*** results indicated that least squares support vector regression(LSSVR)and e Xtreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)achieved the highest prediction accuracies(correlation coefficient:0.92 for VV and 0.96 for Gmb).The MOGwO algorithm successfully found the 26 optimal mix designs for the case of VV *** ***_(2)*** to the traditional laboratory design,the optimal mixture with VV of4%achieves a cost saving of 2.46%and a reduction of 4.03%in carbon *** volumetric properties of the mixtures output by the approach also align closely with values measured in a laboratory.

An industrial intrusion Detection Method Based on Hybrid Convolutional Neural Networks with improved TCN

Network intrusion detection systems(NiDS)based on deep learning have continued to make significant ***,the following challenges remain:on the one hand,simply applying only Temporal Convolutional Networks(TCNs)can lead to models that ignore the impact of network traffic features at different scales on the detection *** the other hand,some intrusion detection methods considermulti-scale information of traffic data,but considering only forward network traffic information can lead to deficiencies in capturing multi-scale temporal *** address both of these issues,we propose a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network that supports a multi-output strategy(BONUS)for industrial internet intrusion ***,we create a multiscale Temporal Convolutional Network by stacking TCN of different scales to capture the multiscale information of network ***,we propose a bi-directional structure and dynamically set the w.ights to fuse the forward and backward contextual information of network traffic at each scale to enhance the model’s performance in capturing the multi-scale temporal features of network *** addition,we introduce a gated network for each of the two branches in the proposed method to assist the model in learning the feature representation of each *** experiments reveal the effectiveness of the proposed approach on two publicly available traffic intrusion detection datasets named UNSw-NB15 and NSL-KDD with F1 score of 85.03% and 99.31%,respectively,w.ich also validates the effectiveness of enhancing the model’s ability to capture multi-scale temporal features of traffic data on detection performance.

Research on Anthropomorphic Obstacle Avoidance Trajectory Planning for Adaptive Driving Scenarios Based on inverse Reinforcement Learning Theory

The forward design of trajectory planning strategies requires preset trajectory optimization functions,resulting in poor adaptability of the strategy and an inability to accurately generate obstacle avoidance trajectories that conform to real driver behavior *** addition,owing to the strong time-varying dynamic characteristics of obstacle avoidance scenarios,it is necessary to design numerous trajectory optimization functions and adjust the corresponding ***,an anthropomorphic obstacle-avoidance trajectory planning strategy for adaptive driving scenarios is ***,numerous expert-demonstrated trajectories are extracted from the HighD natural driving ***,a trajectory expectation feature-matching algorithm is proposed that uses maximum entropy inverse reinforcement learning theory to learn the extracted expert-demonstrated trajectories and achieve automatic acquisition of the optimization function of the expert-demonstrated ***,a mapping model is constructed by combining the key driving scenario information that affects vehicle obstacle avoidance with the w.ight of the optimization function,and an anthropomorphic obstacle avoidance trajectory planning strategy for adaptive driving scenarios is ***,the proposed strategy is verified based on real driving *** results show that the strategy can adjust the w.ight distribution of the trajectory optimization function in real time according to the“emergency degree”of obstacle avoidance and the state of the ***,this strategy can generate anthropomorphic trajectories that are similar to expert-demonstrated trajectories,effectively improving the adaptability and acceptability of trajectories in driving scenarios.

Changes of China’s Status in the Global System and its influencing Factors:A Multiple Contact Networks Perspective

Clarifying China’s position in the global system is an important logical basis for developing national *** much research has been done on China’s development status,most studies have been based on country comparisons or institutional *** today’s networked era in w.ich the global economy,trade,personnel,and information are closely connected,studies on China’s global position and its status changes and influencing factors in multiple contact networks are still *** this study,from the perspective of diverse global contact networks,we constructed economic,cultural,and political influence indices to explore the changes and influencing factors on China’s status in the global system from 2005 to *** results show that during the study period,China’s global influence in the fields of economic ties,cultural exchanges,and political contacts increased significantly,but its influ-ence in the fields of cultural exchanges and political contacts lagged far economic *** pattern of China’s economic influence on various economies around the world has shown a transformation from an‘upright pyramid’to an‘inverted pyramid’*** proportion of these economies in low.influence zones has decreased from more than 60%in 2005 to less than 20%in ***’s cultural and political influence on various economies around the world has increased significantly;however,for the former,the percentage of high-influence areas is still less than 20%,whereas for the latter the percentage of these economies in medium-and high-influence areas is still less than 50%.Analyses such as a scatter plot matrix show that geographical proximity,economic globalization,close cooperation with developing countries,and a proactive and peaceful foreign policy are important factors in improving China’s status in the diverse global network system.

in order to harness diffractive neural networks(DNNs)for tasks that better align with real-world computer vision requirements,the incorporation of gray scale is ***,DNNs are not powerful enough to accomplish gray-scale image processing tasks due to limitations in their expressive *** our work,we elucidate the relationship between the improvement in the expressive power of DNNs and the increase in the number of phase modulation layers,as well as the optimization of the Fresnel number,w.ich can describe the diffraction *** demonstrate this point,we numerically trained a double-layer DNN,addressing the prerequisites for intensitybased gray-scale image ***,we experimentally constructed this double-layer DNN based on digital micromirror devices and spatial light modulators,achieving eight-level intensity-based gray-scale image classification for the MNiST and Fashion-MNiST data *** optical system achieved the maximum accuracies of 95.10%and 80.61%,respectively.

Automatic modulation recognition of radio fuzes using a DR2D-based adaptive denoising method and textural feature extraction

The identification of intercepted radio fuze modulation types is a prerequisite for decision-making in interference ***,the electromagnetic environment of modern battlefields is complex,and the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)of such environments is usually low,w.ich makes it difficult to implement accurate recognition of radio *** solve the above problem,a radio fuze automatic modulation recognition(AMR)method for low-SNR environments is ***,an adaptive denoising algorithm based on data rearrangement and the two-dimensional(2D)fast Fourier transform(FFT)(DR2D)is used to reduce the noise of the intercepted radio fuze intermediate frequency(iF)***,the textural features of the denoised iF signal rearranged data matrix are extracted from the statistical indicator vectors of gray-level cooccurrence matrices(GLCMs),and support vector machines(SVMs)are used for *** DR2D-based adaptive denoising algorithm achieves an average correlation coefficient of more than 0.76 for ten fuze types under SNRs of-10 d B and above,w.ich is higher than that of other typical *** trained SVM classification model achieves an average recognition accuracy of more than 96%on seven modulation types and recognition accuracies of more than 94%on each modulation type under SNRs of-12 d B and above,w.ich represents a good AMR performance of radio fuzes under low SNRs.

Creep constitutive model considering nonlinear creep degradation of fractured rock

Stability analysis of underground constructions requires a model study of rock masses’ long-term performance. Creep tests under different stress conditions was conducted on intact granite and granite samples fractured at 30° and 45° angles. The experimental results indicate that the steady creep strain rates of intact and fractured rock present an exponential increase trend with the increase of stress level. A nonlinear creep model is developed based on the experimental results, in w.ich the initial damage caused by fracture together with the damage caused by constant load have been taken into consideration. The fitting analysis results indicated that the model proposed is more accurate at identifying the full creep regions in fractured granite, especially the accelerated stage of creep deformation. The least-square fit error of the proposed creep model is significantly lower than that of Nishihara model by almost an order of magnitude. An analysis of the effects of elastic modulus, viscosity coefficient, and damage factors on fractured rock strain rate and creep strain is conducted. if no consideration is given to the effects of the damage, the proposed nonlinear creep model can degenerate into to the classical Nishihara model.
