La_(1-x)Mg_(x)Ni_(2.8)Co_(0.4)Mn_(0.1)Al_(0.2)(x=0.25,0.30,0.33)alloys were prepared by induction melting followed by annealing treatments(1,073 K)for 10 *** structure and electrochemical properties of La_(1-x)Mg_(x)Ni_(2.8)Co_(0.4)Mn_(0.1)Al_(0.2)(x=0.25,0.30,0.33)hydrogen storage alloys were investigated by X-ray powder diffraction(XRD)and electrochemical measurement *** results reveal that all the alloys mainly consist of LaNi5 phase and La2 Ni7 *** electrochemical experiments demonstrate that the substitution of Mg for La can increase the maximum discharge capacity and improve the high-rate dischargeability of the alloy *** high-rate dischargeability of alloy electrodes increases from 39.4%to63.1%with x increasing from 0.25 to 0.33 at discharge current density of 1,500 mA·g^(-1).However,the addition of Mg reduces the cycling stability of the ***,the results obtained from the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and linear polarization measurements show that the hydriding kinetics on the hydrogen storage alloys are controlled by charge-transfer step.

The vertical sections of the La−Fe−B system were investigated using electron probe microanalysis and differential thermal *** on the microstructures and phase compositions of the as-cast and equilibrium alloys,together with their heat flow−temperature curves,phase diagrams for three vertical sections were drawn:La_(x)Fe_(82)B_(y)(x+y=18),La_(x)Fe_(70)B_(y)(x+y=30)and La_(x)Fe_(53)B_(y)(x+y=47),where x and y represent mass fraction of La and B,respectively,%.Additionally,according to the phase diagrams,the compound La2Fe14B was identified as a stable phase at high *** was found to be stable between 926.2 and 792.6℃;at low temperatures,however,it decomposed into α-La,α-Fe and LaFe_(4)B_(4),according to the reaction La_(2)Fe_(14)B→α-Fe+α-La+LaFe_(4)B_(4).

Carbonyl iron absorbers(CI)face significant challenges in practical applications,such as corrosion,interface bonding failure,detachment,and high maintenance ***,we have developed intelligent self-healing technology based on proactive/passive mechanisms via in situ synthesis of self-healing factors(polydopamine/benzotriazole(PDA/BTA))and physical barrier layers(SiO_(2)/1,1,1,3,3,3-hexamethyl disilazane,SiO_(2)/HMDS)to enhance corrosion resistance,while also being compatible with efficient microwave absorption *** unique multiscale structure gives full play to the utilization of the roles of each functional layer,including the intelligent self-healing features of PDA/BTA,physical shielding and spatial confinement characteristics of SiO_(2)/HMDS,and magnetic-dielectric synergistic mechanism resulted from the good impedance matching characteristics,the conduction loss,the interfacial polarization loss and natural *** asfabricated composites achieved an exceptional minimum reflection loss value of-55.4 dB at 10.7 GHz and the effective absorption band of 7.6 ***,it still exhibits obvious self-healing and corrosion resistance characteristics after 360 h corrosion treatment,ascribed to the self-healing mechanism of PDA/BTA and the blocking intervention effect of SiO_(2)/*** work is considered to pave the way for the synthesis of high-performance magnetic absorbers,especially in enhancing their intelligent self-healing ability in corrosive environments.

The growth of dendrites and the side reactions occurring at the Zn anode pose significant challenges to the commercialization of aqueous Zn-ion batteries（AZIBs）. These challenges arise from the inherent conflict between mass transfer and electrochemical kinetics. In this study, we propose the use of a multifunctional electrolyte additive based on the xylose（Xylo） molecule to address these issues by modulating the solvation structure and electrode/electrolyte interface, thereby stabilizing the Zn anode. The introduction of the additive alters the solvation structure, creating steric hindrance that impedes charge transfer and then reduces electrochemical kinetics. Furthermore, in-situ analyses demonstrate that the reconstructed electrode/electrolyte interface facilitates stable and rapid Zn2+ion migration and suppresses corrosion and hydrogen evolution reactions. As a result, symmetric cells incorporating the Xylo additive exhibit significantly enhanced reversibility during the Zn plating/stripping process, with an impressively long lifespan of up to 1986 h, compared to cells using pure ZnSO4electrolyte. When combined with a polyaniline cathode, the full cells demonstrate improved capacity and long-term cyclic stability. This work offers an effective direction for improving the stability of Zn anode via electrolyte design, as well as highperformance AZIBs.

We investigate the flow around a circular cylinder vibrating with a prescribed magnitude and frequency at Reynolds number *** Navier-stokes equations and the adjoint equations are solved to search for the 3-D nonlinear optimal initial perturbation,which is amplified by the attached shear via the Orr mechanism and then activates wake *** energy growth and the spanwise distributions of the nonlinear optimal perturbation vary significantly with the initial phase to introduce the *** the initial perturbation energy increases,linear amplification,nonlinear saturation and nonlinear growth are sequently *** last one is owing to the generation of a spanwise homogeneous mode,which modifies the pressure distributions on the cylinder surface and induces an extra lift ***,at all the initial phases,this force is opposite to the acceleration of the cylinder,illustrating the potential to reduce the magnitude of vibration.

The optimization design of the power system is essential for stratospheric airships with paradoxical requirements of high reliability and low weight. The methodology of orthogonal experiment is presented to deal with the problem of the optimization design of the airship's power system. Mathematical models of the solar array, regenerative fuel cell, and power management subsystem (PMS) are presented. The basic theory of the method of orthogonal experiment is discussed, and the selection of factors and levels of the experiment and the choice of the evaluation function are also revealed. The proposed methodology is validated in the optimization design of the power system of the ZhiYuan-2 stratospheric airship. Results show that the optimal configuration is easily obtained through this methodology. Furthermore, the optimal configuration and three sub-optimal configurations are in the Pareto frontier of the design space. Sensitivity analyses for the weight and reliability of the airship's power system are presented.
