Superluminous supernovae(SLSNe)are a class of intense celestial events that can be standardized for measuring cosmological parameters,bridging the gap between type Ia supernovae and the cosmic microwave *** this work,we discuss the cosmological applications of SLSNe from the Chinese Space Station Telescope(CSST).Our estimation suggests that SLSNe rate is biased tracing the cosmic star formation rate,exhibiting a factor of(1+z)^(1.2).We futher predict that CSST is poised to observe~360 SLSNe in the 10 square degrees ultra-deep field survey within a span of 2.5 years.A stringent constraint on cosmological parameters can be derived from their peak-color *** is anticipated to uncover a substantial number of SLSNe,contributing to a deeper understanding of their central engines and shedding light on the nature of dark energy at high redshifts.

Peroxisomes and mitochondria are metabolically diverse organelles that act in concert in a number of pathways in eukaryotes, including photorespiration and lipid mobilization in plants. The division machineries of these two types of organelles also share several components such as dynamin-related proteins （DRPs） and their organelle anchor, the FISSION1 （FIS1） protein. In Arabidopsis, members of the DRP3 and FIS1 small protein families, namely DRP3A, DRP3B, FISIA, and FISIB, are each dual-targeted to peroxisomes and mitochondria and are required for the division of both organelles; DRP3A and DRP3B are partially redundant in function. To further determine the contribution of FISIA and FISIB to the division of peroxisomes and mitochondria, we analyzed plants overexpressing FISIA or FISIB and mutants in which the functions of both proteins were disrupted. Domains in FISIA and FISIB required for peroxisomal targeting were also dissected. Our results demonstrate that FISIA and FISIB play rate-limiting and partially overlapping roles in promoting the fission of peroxisomes and mitochondria. Furthermore, although the C-terminus of FIS1 is both necessary and sufficient for targeting to peroxisomes, the role of the short C-terminal segment adjacent to the transmembrane domain may differ among diverse species in peroxisomal targeting.

This paper aims to investigate the geodesic motion in the spacetime of a non-linear magnetic charged black hole surrounded by quintessence. By varying the Lagrangian corresponding to the metric, the orbital motion equation has been obtained. The effects of the magnetic charge Q, positive normalization factor C, angular momentum b, and energy E on time-like and null geodesic motion are discussed from three aspects: orbital stability, orbital types, and circular orbits. By comparing the effects of the above parameters C, b on the effective potential, it is found that quintessence has an impact on the types and stability of orbits. In addition, for time-like orbital motion, when 3.443113 ≤ b ≤ 6.392 578(for fixed C = 0.0002, M = 1, Q = 0.7), there are bound orbits, and within this range, the stable circular orbits exist,and the radii of the innermost and outermost stable circular orbit are r = 5.912 654 and r = 56.745 933, respectively. For null orbital motion, the orbital types have only unstable circular orbit which occur at r = 2.951 072(E2= E22= 0.4),absorb orbits and escape orbits, but no stable circular orbits, and bound orbits.

Brassinosteroids （BRs） are an important class of plant steroidal hormones that are essential in a wide variety of physiological processes. To determine the effects of BRs on the development of cotton fibers, through screening cotton fiber EST database and contigging the candidate ESTs, a key gene （GhDWF1） involved in the upstream biosynthetic pathway of BRs was cloned from developing fibers of upland cotton （Gossypium hirsutum L.） cv. Xuzhou 142. The full length of the cloned cDNA is 1 849 bp, including a 37 bp 5＇-untranslated region, an ORF of 1 692 bp, and a 120 bp 3＇-untranslated region. The cDNA encodes a polypeptide of 563 amino acid residues with a predicted molecular mass of 65 kD. The deduced amino acid sequence has high homology with the BR biosynthetic enzyme, DWARF1/DIMINUTO, from rice, maize, pea, tomato, and Arabidopsis. Furthermore, the typical conserved structures, such as the transmembrane domain, the FAD- dependent oxidase domain, and the FAD-binding site, are present in the GhDWF1 protein. The Southern blot indicated that the GhDWF1 gene is a single copy in upland cotton genome. RT-PCR analysis revealed that the highest level of GhDWF1 expression was detected in 0 DPA （day post anthesis） ovule （with fibers） while the lowest level was observed in cotyledon. The GhDWF1 gene presents high expression levels in root, young stem, and fiber, especially, at the fiber developmental stage of secondary cell wall accumulation. Moreover, the expression level was higher in ovules （with fibers） of wildtype （Xuzhou 142） than in ovules of fuzzless-lintless mutant at the same developmental stages （0 and 4 DPA）. The results suggest that the GhDWF1 gene plays a crucial role in fiber development.

Background Kawasaki disease （KD） is the leading cause of pediatric ischemic heart disease. The incidence of serious coronary sequelae is low and about 2%-3% of patients with KD, but once myocardial infarction occurs in children, the mortality is quite high and 22% at the first *** study aimed to evaluate the efficacy of coronary artery bypass grafting （CABG） in patients with KD. Methods Eight patients with a history of KD underwent CABG between October 1997 and July 2005. The number of bypass grafts placed was 2 to 4 per patient （mean 2.5±0.8）. Various bypass grafts were used in patients, i.e. the left internal mammary artery （LIMA） in 3 patients, bilateral internal mammary artery （IMA） in 2 patients, LIMA plus gastroepiploic artery （GEA） in 1 patient and total saphenous vein grafts （SVGs） in 2 patients. The combined procedures included ventricular aneurysmectomy in 1 patient, mitral valve plasty in 1 and right coronary aneurysmectomy in 1. One patient was not able to wean from cardiopulmonary bypass （CPB）, after being supported with intra-aortic balloon pump （IABP）, the patient was weaned from CPB successfully. Results One patient died of low cardiac output syndrome and acute renal failure 19 days after operation. Other patients recovered and were discharged uneventfully. During the follow-up that ranged from 3 to 57 months （mean 27 months）, clincal angina disappeared or improved. Cardiac function was in Class I-II （NYHA）.Conclusion CABG is a safe and effective procedure for Kawasaki coronary artery disease. However long-term results need to be followed up.

Distribution of IOP and its relationship with refractive error and other factors:the Anyang University Students Eye Study

Background:human complement receptor type 2(CR2/CD21),a cell surface protein highly expressed on B cells and follicular dendritic cells,is a member of the regulators of complement activation protein family.C3d is a molecular adjuvant to diverse antigens and it is the primary ligand for *** interactions between CR2 and C3d can bridge the innate and adaptive immune systems. Methods:The new crystal structure of CR2:C3d complex and three relevant three mutant systems(four systems are referred to as WT,R83A,D92A and K108A,respectively) were analyzed by molecular dynamics *** dynamics and the conformational change of CR2 are exhibited by using domain cross-correlation map(DCCM),principal component analysis(PCA),and free energy landscape(FEL) methods. Results:The comparison of RMSD values shows that the structural stability of three mutants is decreased differently compared with WT,which is consistent with the experimental *** on the calculation of hydrogen bond at the interface,we analyze the loss of the stability of three mutants relative to *** is found that two clusters of residues(D36/ E37/E39 and E160/D163/E166) in the acidic pocket of C3d are important for CR2-C3d interactions,which is in good agreement with previous mutagenesis *** addition,the conformational change corresponds to the opening of V-shaped structure of CR2,which is supported by high inter-domain flexibility of CR2 revealed by previous reports. Conclusions:We explain the loss of the binding stability of three mutants relative to WT and suppose that the opening of V-shaped structure of CR2 may favor the structural stability of CR2:C3d *** study can enhance the knowledge of the physicochemical properties on the CR2-C3d interactions at atomic level.
