Prostate cancer(PCa)is one of the most common malignancies in males worldwide,and its development and progression involve the regulation of multiple metabolic pathways.Alterations in lipid metabolism affect the proliferation and metastatic capabilities of PCa cells.Cancer cells increase lipid synthesis and regulate fatty acid oxidation to meet their growth and energy demands.Similarly,changes occur in amino acid metabolism in PCa.Cancer cells exhibit an increased demand for specific amino acids,and they regulate amino acid transport and metabolic pathways to fulfill their proliferation and survival requirements.These changes are closely associated with disease progression and treatment response in PCa cells.Therefore,a comprehensive investigation of the metabolic characteristics of PCa is expected to offer novel insights and approaches for the early diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

A digital data-acquisition system based on XIA LLC products was used in a complex nuclear reaction experiment using radioactive ion beams.A flexible trigger system based on a field-programmable gate array(FPGA)parametrization was developed to adapt to different experimental sizes.A user-friendly interface was implemented,which allows converting script language expressions into FPGA internal control parameters.The proposed digital system can be combined with a conventional analog data acquisition system to provide more flexibility.The performance of the combined system was veri-fied using experimental data.

【目的】采用数据挖掘方法分析国内主要文献数据库及《中华医方》外科卷中有关治疗毒蛇咬伤的中药内服方,以探讨其潜在的组方用药规律,为基层治疗毒蛇咬伤提供参考。【方法】通过检索中国知网、维普、万方数据库中有关治疗毒蛇咬伤的中药内服方,并查阅《中华医方》外科卷,筛选其中治疗毒蛇咬伤的古方。运用Excel软件提取方药的相关信息,采用R语言对中药的使用频率、性味归经、关联规则、聚类情况等进行分析。【结果】共得到治疗毒蛇咬伤内服方187首,涉及中药284味;使用频次居前15位的中药依次为半边莲、大黄、白芷、甘草、重楼、地黄、黄连、黄芩、金银花、赤芍、牡丹皮、白花蛇舌草、白茅根、车前草、半枝莲;治疗毒蛇咬伤方药的药味偏苦、辛、甘,药性偏寒,归经以归肝、肺经为主;关联规则分析及聚类分析得到以大黄、半边莲、重楼为基础的核心组方。【结论】中药治疗毒蛇咬伤以清热解毒为主,常在大黄、半边莲、重楼的基础上配以清热凉血、熄风止痉、清热利尿等药物。

Small extracellular vesicles from hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells attenuate spinal cord injury via miR-146a-5p-mediated regulation of macrophage polarization

Spinal cord injury is a disabling condition with limited treatment options.Multiple studies have provided evidence suggesting that small extracellular vesicles(SEVs)secreted by bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)help mediate the beneficial effects conferred by MSC transplantation following spinal cord injury.Strikingly,hypoxia-preconditioned bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell-derived SEVs(HSEVs)exhibit increased therapeutic potency.We thus explored the role of HSEVs in macrophage immune regulation after spinal cord injury in rats and their significance in spinal cord repair.SEVs or HSEVs were isolated from bone marrow MSC supernatants by density gradient ultracentrifugation.HSEV administration to rats via tail vein injection after spinal cord injury reduced the lesion area and attenuated spinal cord inflammation.HSEVs regulate macrophage polarization towards the M2 phenotype in vivo and in vitro.Micro RNA sequencing and bioinformatics analyses of SEVs and HSEVs revealed that mi R-146a-5p is a potent mediator of macrophage polarization that targets interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 1.Reducing mi R-146a-5p expression in HSEVs partially attenuated macrophage polarization.Our data suggest that HSEVs attenuate spinal cord inflammation and injury in rats by transporting mi R-146a-5p,which alters macrophage polarization.This study provides new insights into the application of HSEVs as a therapeutic tool for spinal cord injury.

Decoding the Moon Phase Display Device over the Front Dial of the Antikythera Mechanism

The Antikythera mechanism is the most famous ancient astronomical calculator. The damaged excavation is a critical constraint for decoding the mechanism completely. By the systematic reconstruction design methodology, all feasible designs of the moon phase display device, which is one of the unclear mechanisms of the Antikythera mechanism, are reconstructed. These designs, including ordinary gear trains and epicyclic gear trains, are the simplest designs and satisfy the surviving evidence. The Antikythera mechanism and its reconstruction designs presented by lin and YAN are introduced first. Three pointer types of the Antikythera mechanism are concluded based on their display motions and the orientation of the mechanism. In accordance with the analysis of the available interior reconstruction designs and the surviving evidence, four feasible designs of the moon phase display device are generated. All of them utilize the ball pointer with black and white that rotates around the radial axis to show cyclic moon phase. Two of these four feasible reconstruction designs are driven by one input source, and their bronze disks are fixed and rotatable respectively. Both of the remaining reconstruction designs are driven by two input sources, and their bronze disks are rotatable. Therefore, the four reconstruction designs of the moon phase display device reveal all possible display conditions of the moon phase pointers and the possible purposes of the bronze disk.

Metal tellurides(MTes) are highly attractive as promising anodes for high-performance potassium-ion batteries. The capacity attenuation of most reported MTe anodes is attributed to their poor electrical conductivity and large volume variation. The evolution mechanisms, dissolution properties, and corresponding manipulation strategies of intermediates(K-polytellurides, K-pTe_(x)) are rarely mentioned. Herein,we propose a novel structural engineering strategy to confine ultrafine CoTe_(2) nanodots in hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber carbon substrates(CoTe_(2)@NC@NSPCNFs) for smooth immobilization of K-pTe_(x) and highly reversible conversion of CoTe_(2) by manipulating the intense electrochemical reaction process. Various in situ/ex situ techniques and density functional theory calculations have been performed to clarify the formation, transformation, and dissolution of K-pTe_(x)(K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te), as well as verifying the robust physical barrier and the strong chemisorption of K_(5)Te_(3) and K_(2)Te on S, N co-doped dual-type carbon substrates. Additionally, the hierarchical nanogrid-in-nanofiber nanostructure increases the chemical anchoring sites for K-pTe_(x), provides sufficient volume buffer space, and constructs highly interconnected conductive microcircuits, further propelling the battery reaction to new heights(3500 cycles at 2.0 A g^(-1)). Furthermore, the full cells further demonstrate the potential for practical applications. This work provides new insights into manipulating K-pTe_(x) in the design of ultralong-cycling MTe anodes for advanced PIBs.

Bottom water coning is the main reason to reduce the recovery of horizontal bottom water reservoir. By water coning, we mean the oil-water interface changes from a horizontal state to a mound-shaped cone and breaks through to the wellbore. Autonomous inflow control device(AICD) is an important instrument maintain normal production after bottom water coning, however, the resistance increasing ability of the swirl type AICD is insufficient at present, which seriously affects the water control effect. Aiming this problem, this paper designs a multi-stage resistance-increasing and composite type AICD. The separation mechanism of oil-water two phases in this structure, the resistance form of oil-water single phase and the resistance-increasing principle of water phase are analyzed. Establishing the dual-phase multi-stage separation and resistance-increasing model, and verified by measuring the throttling pressure drop and oil-water volume fraction of the AICD, it is found that the composite type AICD has the effect of ICD and AICD at the same time, which can balance the production rate of each well section at the initial stage of production, delay the occurrence of bottom water coning. In the middle and later stages of production, water-blocking can be effectively increased to achieve water control and stable production.After structural sensitivity analysis, the influence law of various structural parameters on the water control performance of composite AICD was obtained. The simulation calculation results show that,compared with the existing swirl type AICD, composite AICD has higher sensitivity to moisture content,the water phase throttling pressure drop is increased by 4.5 times on average. The composite AICD is suitable for the entire stage of horizontal well production.

Nonradical oxidation has received wide attention in advanced oxidation processes for environmental remediation.Understanding the relationship between material characteristics and their ability to initiate nonradical oxidation processes is the key to better material design and performance.Herein,a novel titanium-based metal-organic framework MIL-125-Ti/H_(2)O_(2) system was established to show a highly selective degradation efficacy toward tetracycline antibiotics.MIL-125-Ti with the abundance of TiO6 octahedra units was found to effectively activate H_(2)O_(2) under dark conditions by forming an oxidative Ti-peroxo complex.The presence of the Ti-peroxo complex,confirmed by UV-visible spectrophotometer,fourier transform infrared spectroscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy characterizations,showed superior degradation(>95%removal rate)of oxytetracycline hydrochloride(OTC),doxycycline hydrochloride,chlortetracycline hydrochloride,and tetracycline.Density functional theory calculations were performed to assist the elucidation on the mechanism of H_(2)O_(2) activation and antibiotics degradation.The MIL-125-Ti/H_(2)O_(2) system was highly resistant to halogens and background organics,and could well maintain its original catalytic activity in actual water matrices.It retained the ability to degrade 75%of OTC within ten test cycles.This study provides new insight into the nonradical oxidation process initiated by the unique Ti-peroxo complex of Ti-based MOF.

Legumes have evolved specific inventions to enhance nitrogen(N)acquisition by establishing symbiotic interactions with N-fixing rhizobial bacteria.Because symbiotic N fixation is energetically costly,legumes have developed sophisticated mechanisms to ensure carbon-nitrogen balance,in a variable environment,both locally and at the whole plant level,by monitoring nodule number,nodule development,and nodular nitrogenase activity,as well as controlling nodule senescence.Studies of the autoregulation of nodulation and regulation of nodulation by nodule inception(NIN)and NIN-LIKE PROTEINs(NLPs)have provided great insights into the genetic mechanisms underlying the nitrateinduced regulation of root nodulation for adapting to N availability in the rhizosphere.However,many aspects of N-induced pleiotropic regulation remain to be fully explained,such as N-triggered senescence in mature nodules.Wang et al.determined that this process is governed by a transcriptional network regulated by NAC-type transcription factors.Characterization and dissection of these soybean nitrogenassociated NAPs(SNAPs)transcription factor-mastered networks have yielded a roadmap for exploring how legumes rewire nodule functions across a range of N levels,laying the foundation for enhancing the growth of N-deprived crops in agricultural settings.
