Zinc (Zn) batteries have attracted great attention since Zn anode is cost-effective and safe,and also exhibit high capacity and low *** effort has been made to achieve superior battery performance,i.e.,structural design of cathodes,optimizing electrolytes,and modification of Zn anode [1-3].Zn batteries can apply aqueous electrolytes and non-aqueous ***,both of them also suffer from some obstacles in the practical applications.

Thermal properties are essentially decided by atomic geometry and thus stress is the most direct way for manipulating. In this paper, we investigate stress modulation of thermal conductivity of graphene by molecular dynamics simulations and discuss the underlying microscopic mechanism. It is found that thermal conductivity of ftexural-free graphene increases with compression and decreases with strain, while thermal conductivity of flexural-included graphene decreases with both compression and strain. Such difference in thermal behavior originates from the changes in the anharmonicity of the interatomic potential, where the wrinkle scattering is responsible for the thermal conductivity diminishment in flexural-included graphene under strain. By comparing the results obtained from the Tersoff and AIREBO potentials, it is revealed that the degree of the symmetry of interatomic potential determines the thermal conductivity variation of graphene. Our results indicate that the symmetry of interatomic potential should be taken into careful consideration in constructing the lattice model of graphene.

Scar hyperplasia at the suture site is an important reason for hindering the repair effect of peripheral nerve injury anastomosis. To address this issue, two repair methods are often used. Biological agents are used to block nerve sutures and the surrounding tissue to achieve phys- ical anti-adhesion effects. Another agent is glucocorticosteroid, which can prevent scar growth by inhibiting inflammation. However, the overall effect of promoting regeneration of the injured nerve is not satisfactory. In this regard, we envision that these two methods can be combined and lead to shared understanding for achieving improved nerve repair. In this study, the right tibial nerve was transected 1 cm above the knee to establish a rat tibial nerve injury model. The incision was directly sutured after nerve transection. The anastomotic stoma was coated with 0.5 × 0.5 cm^2 chitosan sheets with betamethasone dipropionate. At 12 weeks after injury, compared with the con- trol and poly （D, L-lactic acid） groups, chitosan-betamethasone dipropionate film slowly degraded with the shape of the membrane still intact. Further, scar hyperplasia and the degree of adhesion at anastomotic stoma were obviously reduced, while the regenerated nerve fiber structure was complete and arranged in a good order in model rats. Electrophysiological study showed enhanced compound muscle action potential. Our results confirm that chitosan-betamethasone dipropionate film can effectively prevent local scar hyperplasia after tibial nerve repair and promote nerve regeneration.

Polynomial functions （in particular, permutation polynomials） play an important role in the design of modern cryptosystem. In this note the problem of counting the number of polynomial functions over finite commutative rings is discussed. Let A be a general finite commutative local ring. Under a certain condition, the counting formula of the number of polynomial functions over A is obtained. Before this paper, some results over special finite commutative rings were obtained by many authors.

An outdoor propagation measurement campaign for beyond 3G （B3G） as well as a wide-band indoor measurement campaign have been performed recently in Beijing, China, in which the sounding signals are transmitted by an one-antenna base station and received by a two-antenna mobile receiver operated at 3.49～3.51 GHz bandwidth. Different scenarios： stationary line-of-sight （LoS）, stationary non-LoS （NLoS） scenarios, and dynamic NLoS are deliberately chosen in a classic urban environment and office environment. The initial results are presented in this article. Parameters including vector channel impulse response, path loss, rays number, excess delay spread etc. are extracted, analyzed, and briefly reported here.

Objective:Uric acid(UA) is considered to be a powerful predictor of cardiovascular risk and hyperuricemia might be involved in the metabolic syndrome(MS).This study aims to investigate the relation between UA levels and aortic root ***:A total of 348 hypertensive patients [age(67.5±9.8) years] with or without MS were included in the *** aortic root diameters at the aortic annulus,the sinuses of Valsalva,the sinotubular junction,and the proximal part of the ascending aorta were measured using a two-dimensional(2D) *** UA levels were also measured for all ***:A high UA level is independently associated with aortic root diameters at the sinuses of Valsalva(P=0.001) and the proximal ascending aorta(P<0.0001) in the hypertensive patients without *** contrast,aortic root diameters were not significantly related to UA levels in the hypertensive patients with ***,increased UA levels were associated with an increased risk for aortic root dilatation in the patients without MS(sex-adjusted hazard ratio 1.75,95% confidence intervals(CI) 1.27-2.41),but not in those with ***:This study demonstrated an independent relationship between the aortic root dimensions and increased levels of serum UA in the hypertensive patients without *** understanding of the mechanisms underlying these associations may allow a clearer interpretation of the potential value of specific urate-lowering treatment on cardiovascular disease.

AIM： To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different portal vein branch embolization agents in inducing compensatory hypertrophy of the remnant liver and to offer a theoretic basis for clinical portal vein branch embolization. METHODS： Forty-one adult dogs were included in the experiment and divided into four groups. Five dogs served as a control group, 12 as a gelfoam group, 12 as a coil-gelfoam group and 12 as an absolute ethanol group. Left portal vein embolization was performed in each group. The results from the embolization in each group using different embolic agents were compared. The safety of portal vein embolization （PVE） was evaluated by liver function test, computed tomography （CT） and digital subtraction angiography （DSA） of liver and portal veins. Statistical test of variance was performed to analyze the results. RESULTS： Gelfoam used for PVE was inefficient in recanalization of portal vein branch 4 wk after the procedure. The liver volume in groups of coil-gelfoam and absolute ethanol increased 25.1% and 33.18%, respectively. There was no evidence of recanalization of embolized portal vein, hepatic dysfunction, and portal hypertension in coil-gelfoam group and absolute ethanol group. CONCOUSION： Portal vein branch embolization using absolute ethanol and coil-gelfoam could induce atrophy of the embolized lobes and compensatory hypertrophy of the remnant liver. Gelfoam is an inefficient agent.

The CRISPR/Cas9 system has been successfully applied in dozens of diverse species;although the screening of successful CRISPR/Cas9 editing events remains particularly laborious,especially for those that occur at relatively low ***,a co-CRISPR strategy was proved to enrich the desired CRISPR ***,the co-CRISPR strategy was developed in the Fall armyworm,Spodoptera frugiperda,with kynurenine 3-monooxygenase gene(kmo)as a *** kmo mosaics induced by single-guide RNAs(sgRNAs)/Cas9 displayed the darker green color phenotype in larvae,compared with wild type(brown),and mosaic-eye adults were significantly acquired from the mosaic larvae *** the kmo knockout strain,no significant difference was observed in larval development and adult *** 2(ace2)and Wntl were selected as target genes to construct the co-CRISPR strategy using kmo *** coinjection of kmo and ace2 sgRNAs,the mutant efficiency of ace2 was significantly increased in the kmo mosaic(larvae or adults)***,more malformed pupae with Wntl mutations were observed in the darker green larvae *** together,these results demonstrated that kmo was a suitable visible marker gene for the application and extension of co-CRISPR strategy in Fall *** darker green color in larvae or mosaic-eye in adults from kmo knockout as a marker,the mutant efficiency of a target gene could be enriched in a Fall armyworm group consisting of marked *** co-CRISPR strategy is helpful for gene function studies by the knockout technique with no or lethal phenotypes.
