As a prevailing cathode material of lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),LiCoO_(2)(LCO)still encounters the tricky problems of structural collapse,whose morphological engineering and cation doping are crucial for surmounting the mechanical strains and alleviating phase degradation upon ***,we propose a strategy using a zeolitic imidazolate framework(ZIF)as the self-sacrificing template to directionally prepare a series of LiNi_(0.1)Co_(0.9)O_(2)(LNCO)with tailorable electrochemical *** rational selection of sintering temperature imparts the superiority of the resultant products in lithium storage,during which the sample prepared at 700℃(LNCO-700)outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(156.8 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 200 cycles in half cells,1 C=275 mA g^(-1))and rate capability due to the expedited ion/electron transport and the strengthen mechanical *** feasibility of proper Ni doping is also divulged by half/full cell tests and theoretical study,during which LNCO-700(167 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C for 100 cycles in full cells)surpasses LCO-700 in battery performance due to the mitigated phase deterioration,stabilized layered structu re,ameliorated electro nic co nductivity,a nd exalted lithium sto rage *** work systematically unveils tailorable electrochemical behaviors of LNCO to better direct their practical application.

Molecular and atomic manipulation of metal-organic framework-derived LiCoMnO_(4):An oxygen-deficient strategy for advanced lithium storage

As a novel class of high-voltage cathode materials,spinel lithium transition metal oxides have been faced with demerits including pronounced structural instability caused by Jahn-Teller distortion(especially at the lower voltage region)and severe capacity degradation despite their intriguing electrochemical *** extend their functionalities as broad-voltage cathodes,the sacrificial template method has been regarded as a promising way to realize structural and compositional control for desirable electrochemical ***,we report a synthetic protocol to directionally prepare Li Co Mn O_(4)(LCMO)using carboxyl-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as self-sacrificing ***,LCMO derived from Co Mn-BDC(H_(2)BDC=1,4-benzenedicarboxylate)displays superior electrochemical performances with a specific capacity of 151.6 m Ah g^(-1)at 1 C(150 m A g^(-1))after 120 cycles and excellent rate capacity of 91.9 m Ah g^(-1)at 10 C due to the morphology control,microstructural modulation,and atomic manipulation of the MOF *** by the optimized atomic and electronic structure,abundant oxygen vacancies,and the nanostructure retained from MOF precursors,LCMO materials display extraordinary electrochemical properties,which have been extensively verified by both experimental and theoretical *** work not only provides guidelines for the directional design of spinel materials at molecular and atomic levels but also sheds light on the practical use of LIBs with broad range voltage.

LiFePO_(4),as a prevailing cathode material for lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),still encounters issues such as intrinsic poor electronic conductivity,inferior Li-ion diffusion kinetic,and two-phase transformation mechanism involving substantial structural rearrangements,resulting in unsatisfactory rate *** coating,cation doping,and morphological control have been widely employed to reconcile these *** by these,we propose a synthetic route with metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)as self-sacrificial templates to simultaneously realize shape modulation,Mn doping,and N-doped carbon coating for enhanced electrochemical *** as-synthesized Li MnxFe1–xPO4/C(x=0,0.25,and0.5)deliver tunable electrochemical behaviors induced by the MOF templates,among which LiMn_(0.25)Fe_(0.75)PO_(4)/C outperforms its counterparts in cyclability(164.7 mA h g^(-1)after 200 cycles at 0.5 C)and rate capability(116.3 mA h g^(-1)at 10 C).Meanwhile,the ex-situ XRD reveals a dominant single-phase solid solution mechanism of LiMn_(0.25)Fe_(0.75)PO_(4)/C during delithiation,contrary to the pristine LiFePO_(4),without major structural reconstruction,which helps to explain the superior rate ***,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations verify the effects of Mn doping and embody the superiority of LiMn_(0.25)Fe_(0.75)PO_(4)/C as a LIB cathode,which well supports the experimental *** work provides insightful guidance for the design of tunable MOF-derived mixed transitionmetal systems for advanced LIBs.

Despite the dazzling theoretical capacity,the devasting electrochemical activity of Li_(2)MnO_(3)(LMO)caused by the difficult oxidation of Mn4+impedes its practical application as the lithium-ion battery(LIB)*** efficacious activation of the Li_(2)MnO_(3) by importing electrochemically active Mn3+ions or morphological engineering is instrumental to its lithium storage activity and structural integrity upon ***,we propose a conceptual strategy with metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)as self-sacrificial templates to prepare oxygen-deficient Li_(2)MnO_(3)(O_v-LMO)for exalted lithium storage *** to optimized morphological features,LMO materials derived from Mn-BDC(H_(2)BDC=1,4-dicarboxybenzene)delivered superior cycling/rate performances compared with their counterparts derived from Mn-BTC(H_(3)BTC=1,3,5-benzenetricarboxylicacid)and Mn-PTC(H_(4)PTC=pyromellitic acid).Both experimental and theoretical studies elucidate the efficacious activation of primitive LMO materials toward advanced lithium storage by importing oxygen ***,O_v-LMO derived from Mn-BDC(O_v-BDC-LMO)delivered intriguing reversible capacities(179.2 mA h g^(-1)at 20 mA g^(-1)after 200 cycles and 100.1 mA h g^(-1)at 80 mA g^(-1)after 300 cycles),which can be attributed to the small particle size that shortens pathways for Li+/electron transport,the enhanced redox activity induced by abundant oxygen vacancies,and the optimized electronic configuration that contributes to the faster lithium *** work provides insights into the rational design of LMO by morphological and atomic modulation to direct its activation and practical application as an advanced LIB cathode.

The effects of hydrogen charging time and pressure on the hydrogen embrittlement(HE)susceptibility of X52 pipeline steel material are studied by slow strain rate tensile *** fracture morphologies of the specimens are observed by scanning electron *** HE susceptibility of the X52 pipeline steel material increases with an increase in both hydrogen charging time and hydrogen *** a charging time of 96 h,the HE susceptibility index reaches 45.86%,approximately 3.6 times that at a charging time of 0 ***,a charging pressure of 4 MPa results in a HE susceptibility index of 31.61%,approximately 2.5 times higher than that at a charging pressure of 0.3 MPa.

The Quaternary strata on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau contain rich information about the paleoclimate and environmental evolution,record the evolution process of the Quaternary regional tectonics,paleogeography,and geomorphology of the plateau,and are extremely important areas for studying the Quaternary geological events and regional environmental *** to a comprehensive analysis of the regional stratigraphic data and the development and evolution characteristics of the biota,based on the differences in the lithostratigraphic units,sedimentary characteristics,landforms,and drainage systems,the Quaternary strata on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its surrounding areas are divided into five stratigraphic regions:the Tarim region,Loess Plateau region,Qinghai-Tibet Plateau region,Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau region,and India-Ganges *** Qinghai-Tibet Plateau stratigraphic region is divided into seven stratigraphic sub-regions:the West Kunlun-Karakorum,AltunQilian Mountains,Qaidam-Hehuang,East Kunlun-Bayan Har,Qiangtang,East Xizang-West Yunnan-West Sichuan,and Gangdise-Himalayan *** paper briefly describes the lithostratigraphic units of the seven stratigraphic sub-regions of the Qinghai-Tibet *** to the lithostratigraphic sequence and its sedimentary characteristics,stratigraphic contact relationship,formation age,and evolution of the biota in each stratigraphic sub-region,the Quaternary tectonic paleogeographic evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is divided into four stages.(1)The inherited differential uplift stage since the Pliocene(2.6-1.8/1.5 Ma):the regional sedimentary differences were significant,and the stratigraphic distribution was limited,the alluvial-proluvial sandy conglomerate was widely developed along the piedmont,and fluvial and lacustrine deposits were developed in the low-lying areas between the mountains.(2)The mountain range flattening stage(1.8/1.5-1.2/0.8 Ma):the erosion unconformity surfaces around the pl

Microstructure and texture evolution of Cu-Cr-Co-Ti alloys during the two-stage cryorolling

This study entailed an investigation of the mechanical properties,microstructural and texture orientation evolutions of Cu-Cr-Co-Ti alloys prepared via twostage cryorolling and intermediate aging *** this end,X-ray diffraction and electron backscatter diffraction were *** results indicate that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatments led to the development of profuse twin bundles and significantly enhanced the mechanical *** initial cryorolling led to coplanar slip and developed a strong Y({111})orientation,accelerating the formation of Goss({011})orientation and a Brass-type *** intermediate aging treatment relieved the restriction on dislocation slip and reoriented the grains toward the Copper({112})and Z({111})*** Z orientation,with a relatively high volume fraction,dominated the *** cryorolling intensified twinning and shear banding,transforming the Copper-type shear bands into Brass-type shear bands with rhomboidal prism *** areas inside the Brasstype shear bands exhibited a Y orientation,and the areas outside the shear bands exhibited a stable Brass-type *** evident decrease in the weighted Schmid factors demonstrated that the two-stage cryorolling and intermediate aging treatment can modify the texture evolution and aid the design of high-performance Cu alloys.

Downregulation of Serum PTen Expression in Mercury-Exposed Population and PI3K/AKT Pathway-Induced Inflammation

Objective This study investigated the impact of occupational mercury(Hg) exposure on human gene transcription and expression, and its potential biological *** Differentially expressed genes related to Hg exposure were identified and validated using gene expression microarray analysis and extended validation. Hg-exposed cell models and PTen lowexpression models were established in vitro using 293T cells. PTen gene expression was assessed using qRT-PCR, and Western blotting was used to measure PTen, AKT, and PI3K protein levels. IL-6 expression was determined by *** Combined findings from gene expression microarray analysis, bioinformatics, and population expansion validation indicated significant downregulation of the PTen gene in the high-concentration Hg exposure group. In the Hg-exposed cell model(25 and 10 μmol/L), a significant decrease in PTen expression was observed, accompanied by a significant increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 ***, a low-expression cell model demonstrated that PTen gene knockdown led to a significant decrease in PTen protein expression and a substantial increase in PI3K, AKT, and IL-6 *** This is the first study to report that Hg exposure downregulates the PTen gene, activates the PI3K/AKT regulatory pathway, and increases the expression of inflammatory factors, ultimately resulting in kidney inflammation.
