The adaptation and diversity of animals to the extreme environments of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau(QTP)are typical materials to study adaptive *** recently discovered Jinchuan yak population has many individuals with multiple ***,little is known about this yak’s origin,evolution,and the genetic mechanisms that formed its unique multirib ***,we report a valuable population genome resource of the Jinchuan yak by resequencing the whole genome of 150 *** genetic polymorphism and structure analysis reveal that Jinchuan yak can be differentiated as a unique and original yak population among the domestic *** with geological change,the Jinchuan yak’s evolutionary origin is speculated to be about 6290 years ago,which may be related to the unique geographical environment of the eastern edge of the QTP during this *** with other domestic yaks,this new population has 280 positively selected *** genes related to skeletal function hold a considerable and remarkable proportion,suggesting that the specific skeletal characteristics have been enhanced in the adaptive evolution of Jinchuan yak in the extreme plateau *** genome-wide association study has revealed that TUBA8 and TUBA4A,the genes that regulate the cytoskeleton,are potential genes associated with the multirib *** findings provide a basis to further understand the generation mechanism of the adaptive evolution of this new population in high-altitude extreme environments and the multivertebrate trait of domestic animals.

The relationship between well width and subband energy as well as response wavelength of the InAlAs/InGaAs multi-quantum well structures have been calculated for the design of the devices by using Kronig-Penney *** using gas source molecular beam epitaxy grown InAlAs/InGaAs quantum well infrared photodetector(QWIP)materials have been used to fabricate QWIP devices with 3-5μm band.Ⅰ-Ⅴ characteristics and response spectra of the devices have been *** show that the devices have peak response at 4.0μm with full width of half maximum of about 29.5meV.

Opiates and dopamine （DA） play key roles in learning and memory in humans and animals. Although interactions between these neurotransmitters have been found, their functional roles remain to be fully elucidated, and their dysfunction may contribute to human diseases and addiction. Here we investigated the interactions of morphine and dopaminergic neurotransmitter systems with respect to learning and memory in rhesus monkeys by using the Wisconsin General Test Apparatus （WGTA） delayed-response task. Morphine and DA agonists （SKF-38393, apomorphine and bromocriptine） or DA antagonists （SKF-83566, haloperidol and sulpiride） were co-administered to the monkeys 30 min prior to the task. We found that dose-patterned co-administration of morphine with D1 or D2 antagonists or agonists reversed the impaired spatial working memory induced by morphine or the compounds alone. For example, morphine at 0.01 mg/kg impaired spatial working memory, while morphine （0.01 mg/kg） and apomorphine （0.01 or 0.06 mg/kg） co-treatment ameliorated this effect. Our findings suggest that the interactions between morphine and dopaminergic compounds influence spatial working memory in rhesus monkeys. A better understanding of these interactive relationships may provide insights into human addiction.

This paper provides a comprehensive assessment of Asian summer monsoon prediction skill as a function of lead time and its relationship to sea surface temperature prediction using the seasonal hindcasts of the Beijing Climate Center Climate System Model, BCC_CSM1. l（m）. For the South and Southeast Asian summer monsoon, reasonable skill is found in the model＇s forecasting of certain aspects of monsoon climatology and spatiotemporal variability. Nevertheless, deficiencies such as significant forecast errors over the tropical western North Pacific and the eastern equatorial Indian Ocean are also found. In particular, overestimation of the connections of some dynamical monsoon indices with large-scale circulation and precipitation patterns exists in most ensemble mean forecasts, even for short lead-time forecasts. Variations of SST, measured by the first mode over the tropical Pacific and Indian oceans, as well as the spatiotemporal features over the Nifio3.4 region, are overall well predicted. However, this does not necessarily translate into successful forecasts of the Asian summer monsoon by the model. Diagnostics of the relationships between monsoon and SST show that difficulties in predicting the South Asian monsoon can be mainly attributed to the limited regional response of monsoon in observations but the extensive and exaggerated response in predictions due partially to the application of ensemble average forecasting methods. In contrast, in spite of a similar deficiency, the Southeast Asian monsoon can still be forecasted reasonably, probably because of its closer relationship with large-scale circulation patterns and E1 Nifio-Southern Oscillation.

莺歌海盆地上中新统黄流组是高温高压系统,地层地温梯度超过4℃/100 m、压力系数大于1.6。地热资源潜力丰富,但地热资源评价的相关工作还未开展。通过9口钻井、测井录井、生产资料以及最新7口井地层测温数据和岩石热物性参数测试,在储层储集性能基础上,结合热物性参数,开展储层综合评价工作。以黄流组为例,在储层六参数关系评价基础上,优选孔隙度(Ф)、渗透率(K)、泥质含量(Vsh)、地层系数(DФ)、地层温度(T)、生热率(A)、热导率(J)7个热储评价指标,采用熵权-TOPSIS-灰色关联方法,对该类型热储进行综合评价。研究认为:7个评价指标中,孔隙度、渗透率、地层系数的权重占比较大,分别为21.31%,21.07%和20.42%,是主要影响因素。考虑评价参数的正负理想解的欧氏距离和各指标与正负理想解的灰色关联度,开展不同决策偏好情况下的相对贴近度角度来定量评价,结果显示,储层H1-2、H1-1、H2-2相对贴近度较高,分别为0.624,0.606,0.529,储层性质较好,可作为莺歌海盆地黄流组热储层的重点研究对象。

Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Histopathological Analysis of Experimental Muscle Injuries in a Rabbit

Objective To investigate the correlation of magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） with histopathologica changes, and to evaluate T2 mapping in assessing muscle trauma in a rabbit model of muscle injury. Methods We divided 35 rabbits into seven groups that each represented a different time point after intramuscular hemorrhage and muscle injury. Hemorrhage was created by injecting autologous blood into the left legs, and muscle injury was created by scalpel incision of the biceps femoris of the right legs. At different time points, the rabbits underwent Tl-weighted imaging and T2-weighted imaging （TzWl and T2Wl） and T2 mapping. T2 relaxation times were measured, and the corresponding samples were evaluated for pathological changes. Results After 2 h, the intramuscular hemorrhage model demonstrated an increased signal intensity on both TlWl and T2Wl. Histological examination showed erythrocytes within the muscle bundle. On days 1 and 3, the MRI signals were decreased, and there were no significant changes after day 7. From 2 h to 3 days, the muscle-injury model showed a high signal on both TzWl and T2Wl. Corresponding pathological changes included rupture and edema of muscle fibers, and inflammation. The abnormal signals were reduced on day 7. After day 14, the T2Wl intensity remained high. TlWl showed no abnormal changes, but some models showed a high signal, representing fresh bleeding and fatty tissue. T2 relaxation times were significantly different between the central and marginal regions, and between the marginal and normal regions. Conclusion MRI clearly demonstrates intramuscular hemorrhage and muscle injury, which correlate well with histopathological changes. Tz mapping is useful in assessing the extent of injury.

AIM: To investigate the effect of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) transfection on hepatic sinusoidal capillarization. METHODS: Enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP)/ VEGF transfection was confirmed by immunofluorescence microscopy and immunohistoche-mistry both in primary hepatocytes and in normal liver. Cirrhotic rats were generated by thioacetamide (TAA) administration and then divided into a treatment group, which received injections of 400 μg of plasmid DNA encoding an EGFP- VEGF fusion protein, and a blank group, which received an equal amount of normal saline through the portal vein. The portal vein pressure was measured in the normal and cirrhotic state, in treated and blank groups. The average number of fenestrae per hepatic sinusoid was determined using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), while the relative abundance of VEGF transcripts was examined by Gene array. RESULTS: Green fluorescent protein was observed in the cytoplasms of liver cells under immunofluorescence microscopy 24 h after transfection with EGFP/VEGF plasmid in vitro. Staining with polyclonal antibodies against VEGF illustrated that hepatocytes expressedimmunodetectable VEGF both in vitro and in vitro. There were significant differences in the number of fenestrae and portal vein pressures between normal and cirrhotic rats (7.40 ± 1.71 vs 2.30 ± 1.16 and 9.32 ± 0.85 cmH2O vs 17.92 ± 0.90 cmH2O, P < 0.01), between cirrhotic and treated rats (2.30 ± 1.16 cmH2O vs 4.60 ± 1.65 and 17.92 ± 0.90 cmH2O vs 15.52 ± 0.93 cmH2O, P < 0.05) and between the treatment group and the blank group (4.60 ± 1.65 cmH2O vs 2.10 ± 1.10 cmH2O and 15.52 ± 0.93 cmH2O vs 17.26 ± 1.80 cmH2O, P < 0.05). Background Mono-（2-ethylhexyl） phthalate （MEHP）, the metabolite of di-（2-ethylhexyl） phthalate （DEHP）, was suspected to be toxic to human embryos. This study contributes to investigating its toxic effects by an embryonic stem cell test （EST） based on two human embryonic stem cell （hESCs） lines. Methods CH1 established in our own lab and H1, a federally registered cell line were two human embryonic stem cell lines used in this test. Four endpoint measurements were performed consisting of cell viability, proliferation ability, apoptosis as well as changes of gene expression patterns after spontaneous differentiation were determined. For measuring effects on the first three endpoints, the cells were treated with various concentrations of MEHP dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide （DMSO） and only with DMSO which served as control and harvested after 5 days. For measuring effects during spontaneous differentiation, the RNA of embryoid bodies （EBs） formed after 8 days＇ MEHP exposure was collected and changes in differentiation specific gene expression patterns were analyzed by quantitative real time RT-PCR. Results As a result the viability and proliferation ability of both cell lines decreased significantly at 1000 μmol/L MEHP, while there was no effect on apoptosis or cell morphology. In addition MEHP also changed the gene expression pattern in the EBs of both cell lines. Conclusion MEHP in a high dose was cytotoxic and affected the development of hESCs, which indicates its embryo toxicitv in human embrvos.

SHRIMP U-Pb Dating of Zircons of a Dark Eclogite and a Garnet-bearing Gneissic Granitic Rock from Bixiling,Eastern Dabie Area,Anhui Province:Isotope Chronological Evidence of Neoproterozoic UHP Metamorphism

The paper reports SHRIMP U-Pb zircon data of a dark eclogite and a post-eclogite garnet-bearing gneissic granitic rock from the Bixiling area, Yuexi County, Anhui Province, in the eastern Dabie Mountains. The eclogite, which is metamorphosed basic tuff, contains very scarce zircons in omphacite or garnet, but more zircons in quartz. They usually exhibit a double-layered texture, as shown clearly in cathodoluminescence images. Their inner main parts give a 206Pb/238U age of 757±7 Ma, representing the approximate age of the high-pressure (HP)- ultrahigh-pressure (UHP) metamorphic event during which the eclogite was formed. The outer peripheral parts of the zircons, which have been modified by late-stage fluids, give an age of 223±3 Ma. The granitic rock contains more zircons of anatectic origin found mostly in feldspar and quartz and usually also showing a similar composite texture. The inner main parts of the anatectic zircons with oscillatory zoning give a 206Pb/238U age of 727±15 Ma for the approximate age of the emplacement of the granitic rock, and their outer parts, an age of 219±3 Ma for a similar or even the same fluid event. It is thus suggested that the HP-UHP metamorphism of the Bixiling eclogite facies rocks took place during the Neoproterozoic Jinningian, and the Indosinian age values may only represent a late event in the nature of fluid activity.
