A Novel 3D Gait Model for Subject Identification Robust against Carrying and Dressing Variations

Subject identification via the subject’s gait is challenging due to variations in the subject’s carrying and dressing conditions in real-life *** paper proposes a novel targeted 3-dimensional(3D)gait model(3DGait)represented by a set of interpretable 3DGait descriptors based on a 3D parametric body *** 3DGait descriptors are utilised as invariant gait features in the 3DGait recognition method to address object carrying and *** 3DGait recognitionmethod involves 2.dimensional(2.)to 3DGaitdata learningbasedon3Dvirtual samples,a semantic gait parameter estimation Long Short Time Memory(LSTM)network(3D-SGPE-LSTM),a feature fusion deep model based on a multi-set canonical correlation analysis,and SoftMax recognition ***,a sensory experiment based on 3D body shape and pose deformation with 3D virtual dressing is used to fit 3DGait onto the given 2. gait images.3Dinterpretable semantic parameters control the 3D morphing and dressing *** degree measurement determines the semantic descriptors of 2. gait images of subjects with various shapes,poses and ***,using the 2. gait images as input and the subjects’corresponding 3D semantic descriptors as output,an end-to-end 3D-SGPE-LSTM is constructed and ***,body shape,pose and external gait factors(3D-eFactors)are estimated using the 3D-SGPE-LSTM model to create a set of interpretable gait descriptors to represent the 3DGait Model,i.e.,3D intrinsic semantic shape descriptor(3DShape);3D skeleton-based gait pose descriptor(3D-Pose)and 3D dressing with other ***,the 3D-Shape and 3D-Pose descriptors are coupled to a unified pattern space by learning prior knowledge from the *** research on CASIA B,CMU Mobo,TUM GAID and GPJATK databases shows that 3DGait is robust against object carrying and dressing variations,especially under multi-cross variations.

Processing of a low-costγ-γ'NiPtAl coating with improved oxidation resistance

A novelγ-γ'(Ni solid solution—Ni_(3)Al)NiPtAl coating was produced on advanced single-crystal(SC)superalloy N5 by electroplating of a thin Pt coating with~3μm in thickness followed by heat treatment at 1000℃in *** comparison,a traditionalγ-γ'NiPtAl coating was also produced by electroplating of a thick Pt coating with~6μm in thickness followed by heat treatment at 1100℃in *** novel coating has a mass gain of~0.5 mg·cm^(-2.after 100 h 1-h cyclic oxidation at 1150℃,showing better oxidation resistance than the traditional *** oxide scale mostly consisting ofα-Al_(2.O_(3)grew on the novel coating because the element Cr from the SC alloy substrate contributes to the formation ofα-Al_(2.O_(3).Pt content in the novel coating has significant effect on the oxidation *** optimized Pt content in the coating is about 16 at%,which is helpful to reduce the diffusion of harmful elements from the substrate into the coating but also to reduce the cost of the coating.

Evolution of MnO–SiO2.Al_(2.O_(3)–MgO inclusions during heat treatment at 1100℃

To investigate the evolutionary behavior of the MnO–SiO_(2.–Al_(2.O_(3)–MgO inclusions during heat treatment,water quenched samples were isothermally held at 1100°C for 12. min in Ar and air atmosphere,and the obtaining samples were analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive *** showed that 3MnO·Al_(2.O_(3)·3SiO_(2.and MnO·SiO_(2.were detected in the 5 wt.%MgO system after isothermal holding in Ar atmosphere,while MgO·Al_(2.O_(3),MnO·SiO_(2.and Mn7O8·SiO4 were detected in air *** evolutionary behavior of the 10,15 and 2. wt.%MgO systems after isothermal holding in different atmosphere were *** affected the solid phase transformation of the low MgO content *** calculation results of FactSage 8.1 showed that MgO·Al_(2.O_(3)was formed in the 5 wt.%MgO system with air *** solid phase transformation was accompanied by grain coarsening during the isothermal holding *** differences in the solid phase transformation in different atmosphere of the 5 wt.%MgO system indicated that it was a gas-phase transport grain coarsening *** enrichment of Al element in the liquid phase region at the grain edges,the homogeneous distribution of Mg element and the disappearance of the liquid phase within the crystal revealed that other MgO content systems were liquid–solid transport grain coarsening mechanism.

Comprehensive Summary,The azepine ring is a prominent structural scaffold in biologically significant molecules. In this study, we present a Ni(II)-catalyzed asymmetric difunctionalization of alkynes, involving intermolecular regioselective arylation and intramolecular nitrile addition, enabling the synthesis of enantioenriched azepine derivatives. This reaction simultaneously installs an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter and introduces an unprotected imine functionality, showing great promise for subsequent transformations. The reaction exhibits good tolerance toward various functional groups, resulting in high yields and enantioselectivities. The synthetic utility of this methodology is further demonstrated through gram-scale synthesis and product derivatization. This research offers an efficient approach to the synthesis of seven-membered nitrogen heterocycles.

BaCe_(0.8)Fe_(0.1)Ni_(0.1)O_(3−δ)-impregnated Ni-GDC by phase-inversion as an anode of solid oxide fuel cells with on-cell dry methane reforming

BaCe_(0.8)Fe_(0.1)Ni_(0.1)O_(3−δ)(BCFN)in a perovskite structure is impregnated consecutively by BCFN solution and BCFN suspension into a phase-inversion prepared NiO–Gd_(0.1)Ce_(0.9)O_(2.δ)(GDC)scaffold as an anode for solid oxide fuel cells(SOFCs)with on-cell dry reforming of methane(DRM).The whole pore surface of the scaffold is covered by small BCFN particles formed by BCFN solution impregnation;the large pores near the scaffold surface are filled by BCFN aerogels with a high specific surface area produced by BCFN suspension impregnation,which act as a catalytic layer for on-cell *** reduction,the anode consists of a Ni–GDC scaffold and BCFN particles with exsolved FeNi3 *** BCFN-impregnated Ni–GDC anode has higher electrical conductivity,electrochemical activity,and resistance to carbon deposition,with which the cell shows maximum power densities between 1.44 and 0.92.W·cm^(−2. when using H_(2. and between 1.09 and 0.50 W·cm^(−2. when using CO_(2.–CH_(4) at temperatures ranging from 750 to 600℃.A stable performance at 400 mA·cm^(−2. and 700℃is achieved using 45%CO_(2.–45%CH_(4)–10%N_(2. for more than 400 h without carbon deposition,benefiting from the impregnated BCFN aerogel with a high specific surface area and water adsorbability.
