Interactions of solute atoms in biodegradable zinc alloys and their effect on alloy mechanical properties have been less *** this work,the interactions between the common solutes(Li,Mg,Mn,Cu,and Ag)used in the biodegradable Zn alloys,including a solute-solute pair with the same element or with two different elements,are investigated based on first-principles *** is found that the energetically favorable configuration is the third nearest-neighboring for most solute-solute pairs in the bulk lattice because of the relatively strong electronic interaction between solute and Zn atoms or the relatively small local elastic deformation associated with the *** that interfacial cleavage is a key fracture mode of zinc,the segregation ability of these solutes and their effect on the{1012}twin boundary cohesion are also *** result shows that Li tends to fully occupy its preferred site in the twin boundary,while Mg,Mn,Cu,or Ag has a concentration limitation in the twin *** twin boundary cohesion can be significantly enhanced by the segregation of Mn,followed by Cu and Ag,because of the contribution of their d states close to the Fermi ***,the co-segregation ability of two solute atoms in the twin boundary increases with increasing the binding tendency of these two solute atoms in the *** and Li or Mg show a relatively strong co-segregation ability in the twin *** Mn to Zn-Li or Zn-Mg alloys can significantly enhance the resistance to fracture of twin boundaries.

This paper studies the distributed consensus control for linear multi-agent systems under discontinuous communication and control updating.A fully distributed event-triggered adaptive control protocol with strictly positive minimum interevent time(MIET)guarantees is ***,an event-triggered distributed adaptive control law without using prior global information of network topologies is presented,which achieves asymptotic consensus via discrete control updating and intermittent ***,a hybrid adaptive event-triggering scheme with an internal timer is designed that is activated only when the timer decreases to zero from a specified positive *** the proposed triggering scheme,not only Zeno behavior is excluded but also a strictly positive MIET between any two consecutive events is guaranteed,which facilitates the physical *** contrast to the existing related results,the proposed fully distributed protocol only needs low-frequency communication and control updating,while ensuring the strictly positive MIET ***,a simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.

The last 3 years have seen the emergence of promising targeted therapies for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).Sorafenib has been the mainstay of treatment for a decade and newer modalities were ineffective and did not confer any increased therapeutic benefit until the introduction of lenvatinib which was approved based on its non-inferiority to *** subsequent success of regorafenib in HCC patients who progress on sorafenib treatment heralded a new era of second-line treatment and was quickly followed by ramucirumab,cabozantinib,and the most influential,immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs).Over the same period combination therapies,including anti-angiogenesis agents with ICIs,dual ICIs and targeted agents in conjunction with surgery or other loco-regional therapies,have been extensively investigated and have shown promise and provided the basis for exciting clinical *** continues to develop additional novel therapeutic agents which could potentially augment the presently available options and understand the underlying mechanisms responsible for drug resistance,with the goal of improving the survival of patients with HCC.

Due to the reservoir heterogeneity and the stress shadow effect, multiple hydraulic fractures within one fracturing segment cannot be initiated simultaneously and propagate evenly, which will cause a low effectiveness of reservoir stimulation. Temporary plugging and diverting fracturing(TPDF) is considered to be a potential uniform-stimulation method for creating multiple fractures simultaneously in the oilfield. However, the multi-fracture propagation morphology during TPDF is not clear now. The purpose of this study is to quantitatively investigate the multi-fracture propagation morphology during TPDF through true tri-axial fracturing experiments and CT scanning. Critical parameters such as fracture spacing, number of perforation clusters, the viscosity of fracturing fluid, and the in-situ stress have been investigated. The fracture geometry before and after diversion have been quantitively analyzed based on the two-dimensional CT slices and three-dimensional reconstruction method. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) When injecting the high viscosity fluid or perforating at the location with low in-situ stress, multiple hydraulic fractures would simultaneously propagate. Otherwise, only one hydraulic fracture was created during the initial fracturing stage(IFS) for most tests.(2) The perforation cluster effectiveness(PCE) has increased from 26.62% during the IFS to 88.86% after using diverters.(3) The diverted fracture volume has no apparent correlation with the pressure peak and peak frequency during the diversion fracturing stage(DFS) but is positively correlated with water-work.(4) Four types of plugging behavior in shale could be controlled by adjusting the diverter recipe and diverter injection time, and the plugging behavior includes plugging the natural fracture in the wellbore, plugging the previous hydraulic fractures, plugging the fracture tip and plugging the bedding.

The output-signal models and impulse response shaping(IRS)functions of semiconductor detectors are important for establishing high-precision measurement *** this paper,an output-signal model for semiconductor detector systems is *** to the proposed model,a multistage cascade deconvolution IRS algorithm was developed using the C-R inverse system,R-C inverse system,and differentiator *** silicon drift detector signals acquired from the analog-to-digital converter were *** experimental results indicated that the shaped pulses obtained using the proposed model had no undershoot,and the average peak base width of the output shaped pulses was reduced by 36%compared with that for a simple model proposed in a previous work[1].Offline processing results indicated that compared with the traditional IRS algorithm,the average peak base width of the output shaped pulses obtained using the proposed algorithm was reduced by 11%,and the total elapsed time required for pulse shaping was reduced by 26%.The proposed algorithm avoids recursive *** the sampling frequency of the digital system reaches 100 MHz,the proposed algorithm can be simplified to integer *** proposed IRS algorithm can be applied to high-resolution energy spectrum analysis,highcounting rate energy spectrum correction,and coincidence and anti-coincidence measurements.

Gemcitabine has high activity against nasopharyngeal carcinoma(NPC).The level of ribonucleotide reductase subunit M1(RRM1) expression is closely related to the efficacy of gemcitabine on non-small cell lung cancer and pancreatic ***,the expression of RRM1 and its association with sensitivity to gemcitabine-based chemotherapy in advanced NPC is not *** this study,we retrospectively collected 48 formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded NPC tissues to evaluate the expression of RRM1 using *** patients were diagnosed and treated with gemcitabine-based chemotherapy at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer ***1 expression was positive in 17(35%) ***1 expression was not associated with sex,age,performance status,WHO histological type,number of distant metastases,previous treatment,or cycles of gemcitabine-based chemotherapy(P> 0.05).The progression-free survival of the RRM1-positive group was shorter than that of the RRM1-negative group(5 months vs.7 months,P = 0.036),and the response rate of the RRM1-positive group was somewhat lower than that of the RRM1-negative group(51.6% vs.35.3%,P = 0.278).There was no significant difference in median survival between the RRM1-positive and RRM1-negative groups(22 months vs.19 months,P = 0.540).Our results show that RRM1-negative expression is related with longer progression-free survival in advanced NPC patients treated with gemcitabine-based regimens.

Soil Nitrous Oxide Emissions Under Maize-Legume Intercropping System in the North China Plain

Many studies have focused on various agricultural management measures to reduce agricultural nitrous oxide （N2O） emission. However, few studies have investigated soil N2O emissions in intercropping systems in the North China Plain. Thus, we conducted a ifeld experiment to compare N2O emissions under monoculture and maize-legume intercropping systems. In 2010, ifve treatments, including monocultured maize （M）, maize-peanut （MP）, maize-alfalfa （MA）, maize-soybean （MS）, and maize-sweet clover （MSC） intercropping were designed to investigate this issue using the static chamber technique. In 2011, M, MP, and MS remained, and monocultured peanuts （P） and soybean （S） were added to the trial. The results showed that total production of N2O from different treatments ranged from （0.87＆#177;0.12） to （1.17＆#177;0.11） kg ha-1 in 2010, while those ranged from （3.35＆#177;0.30） to （9.10＆#177;2.09） kg ha-1 in 2011. MA and MSC had no signiifcant effect on soil N2O production compared to that of M （P＆lt;0.05）. Cumulative N2O emissions from MP in 2010 were signiifcantly lower than those from M, but the result was the opposite in 2011 （P＆lt;0.05）. MS signiifcantly reduced soil N2O emissions by 25.55 and 48.84%in 2010 and 2011, respectively （P＆lt;0.05）. Soil N2O emissions were signiifcantly correlated with soil water content, soil temperature, nitriifcation potential, soil NH4＋, and soil NO3-content （R2=0.160-0.764, P＆lt;0.01）. A stepwise linear regression analysis indicated that soil N2O release was mainly controlled by the interaction between soil moisture and soil NO3-content （R2=0.828, P＆lt;0.001）. These results indicate that MS had a coincident effect on soil N2O lfux and signiifcantly reduced soil N2O production compared to that of M over two growing seasons.
