The title compound Ba2 (BF4)4 crystallizes in the monoclinic spacegroup P21/n with crystallographic parameters: a = 8. 339 (3), b = 16. 530 (7), c =10. 212(4) A, V=1348. 7 A3, β= 106. 64(3)°, Z=4, Dc=3. 06 g/cm3, F(000)=1104, μ=5. 98 mm-1, (MoKa) =0. 71069, M= 621. 90. Least-squares refinementaffords the final residuals R=0. 0639 and Rw=0. 0676 for 2841 observed reflections (I>3(I)). The structure consists of columns of BF4 groups, which parallel to the b direction. All columns are linked together through Ba…F bonds, Both the two crystallographically different barium atoms are nine-coordinated by a distorted tri-capped prismof fluorine atoms from the nearest six BF4 tetrahedrons. There are two types of fluorineatoms, one connecting one barium atom and the other connecting two barium *** BF4 tetrahedron is connected to three barium atoms, so it (tetrahedron) can beviewed as unidentate ligand and bidentate ligand at the same time.

A novel complex [Ce(NO3)5(H2O)2]2(Hphen)(H2O) (phen =1,10-phenanthro-line) with formula C24H24CeN9O18 and Mr = 866.64 has been synthesized and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group P with a = 7.5534(2), b = 8.083(2), c = 25.8377(6) , = 86.847(1), = 89.937(1), = 86.981(1), V = 1572.94(6) 3, Dc = 1.830 g/cm3, F(000) = 866, m = 1.545 cm-1 and Z = 2. The final refinement gave R = 0.0486 and wR = 0.1278 for 4852 observed reflections with I > 2s(I). It consists of discrete [Ce-(NO3)5(H2O)2]2- anion, two Hphen+ cations and a lattice water molecule. In the compound, all of the five nitrates are bidentate, and the coordination of Ce(III) is 12. The photo-luminescence of this compound was also investigated.

The title compound, [P (CH2Ph) Ph3] [PdWS4(S2CNC4H8)], wassynthesized by ligand replacement reaction of Pd(S2CNC4H8)2 with (NH4)2WS4 in thepresence of [P(CH2Ph)Ph3]Cl in CH2Cl2 and characterized by X-ray diffraction analy-ses. Crystallographic data: triclinic, observed reflections with . The crys-tal contains discrete cations and anions. Palladium atom in the anion is coordinated by apyrrolidine-derived dithiocarbamate and a tetrathiotungstate. Both dithiocarbamate andtetrathiotungstate act as bidentate ligands through two sulfur atoms chelating palladiumatom. The Pd-W distance is 2- 847(1).

The title compound has been synthesized by reaction of (NH4)3VS4,CuCl, and PBu3 in CH2Cl2 and its structure was determined by single crystal X-raydiffraction. Crystallographic data: C72 H162 Cu6O2P6S8V2, Mr= 1985. 57, monoclinicspace group C2/c, a= 17. 864(3), b= 25. 946(8), c= 24.071 (7),β= 112. 79(2)°,V = 10285. 9, Z= 4, Dc= 1. 28 g/cm3, F(000) = 4192, μ(MoKa) = 16. 7 cm-1,the final R=0.065 and Rw =0.074 for 4051 unique reflections with I> 3σ(I). Thestructure can be described as a metal-sulfur dodecahedral cage fused by two incompletecubane-like VS3Cu3 units connected by Cu - S bonds. The Cu - S bonds within theasymmetric VS3Cu3 unit are slightly shorter than those linking the two centrosymmetrically related VS3Cu3 units. The six copper and two vanadium atoms display asomewhat distorted cubane array with a μ4-S atom on each face of the metal cubane.

Et_4N)_3 [V(mp)_3Na(mp)_3V] was obtained from the reaction of (NH_4)_3VS_4, FeCl_2, Na_2mp(H_2mp=o-mercaptophenol,o-HSC_6H_4OH) and Et_4NCl in CH_3CN. C_(60)H_(84)N_3NaO_6S_6V_2, M_r=1260. 61, monoclinic, space group C2/c with a=24. 825(8) . b=14.716(5) , c=18. 419(10)A,β=94. 57(3)°, V=6707. 54 A￣3;Z=4, Dc=1. 248 g/cm￣3. μ= 5. 002 cm￣(-1). F(000)=2664. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined to final R(Rω)=0.059(0.059) for 3183 observed reflections with I≥2.5σ(I). The centrosymmetric anion of the title compound contains two [V(mp)_3]￣(2-) fragments linked by a sodium ion, the crystallographic center of symmetry , through the μ2-O bridges. The Ⅴ(Ⅳ) atom is in a coordination environment intermediate between a trigonal prism and an ideal octahedron.

The title complex [Yb2Cu3 （O2CCH2CI ）12 （H2O）8]·2H2O（Mr=1838. 73） crystallized in monoclinic space group P21/c, with a=10. 424 （6 ）, b= 17.953（4）, c=15. 193（4）A, β=100. 18（1）, V=2798（2） A3, Z=2, Dc=2.18 g/cm3, R=0. 066, Rw=0. 081 for 3653 unique reflections with I＞ 3（I）, u=50. 9cm-1, F （000）=1782, in which the Cu and Yb atoms are bridged uniquely bychloroacetate groups. The Cu atoms display two types of coordination spheres, a fourcoordinate distorted square and a five-coordinate square pyramid, and the coordinationgeometry of each Yb atom is a square antiprism.

The title compounds (4-NH2C6H4S)4Sn 1 and [(4-NH2C6H4S)2(4-NH3C6H4S)2- Sn]Cl2 2 have been synthesized and their crystal structures were determined by X-ray diffraction study. 1 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group P21/m, a = 8.8431(6), b = 15.2944(10), c = 9.1974(7) ?, β = 93.835(2)°, V = 1241.16 (15) ?3, Z = 2, Mr = 615.40, Dc = 1.647 g/cm3, F(000) = 620, μ = 1.387 mm-1, the final R = 0.0439 and wR = 0.1120 for 1892 observed reflections (I > 2σ(I)). 2 crystallizes in monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 31.0848(2), b = 7.9685(3), c = 11.7213(4) ?, β = 97.228(2)°, V = 2880.28(15) ?3, Z = 4, Mr = 688.32, Dc = 1.5877 g/cm3, F(000) = 1384, μ = 1.384 mm-1, the final R = 0.0416 and wR = 0.1269 for 1968 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The Sn4+ ions in 1 and 2 are coordinated to four sulfur atoms with highly and slightly distorted tetrahedral configurations, respectively.

Dinuclear palladium complex (Et_4N)_2[Pd_2(mp)_2 (mpH)_2 (mpH=_2-SC_6H_4OH ) (M_r = 971. 95 ) is prepared in a reaction of sodium 2-mercaptophenolate (Na_2mp) with PdCl_2. It crystallizes in monoclinic with space group P2_1/n, a=9. 088(1),b=17. 851 (4), c=12. 932(2) , β= 93. 21 (1)°, V=2094. 7(7), D_c=1. 54 g/cm￣3, F(000) = 1000, Z=2, and final R= 0. 044 and R_w= 0. 055 for 3090 reflections (I≥3σ(I)). structure analysis revealed the multifunction chelating character of mp functions as S_tO_t(t for terminal) and S_bOH (b for bridging) in the complex.

There are urgent needs of volatile amine gas sensors with high-performance in food quality control,disease monitoring and environmental ***-film fluorescent probe is suitable for amine vapour sensing due to its high sensitivity,high selectivity,and no polluting ***,a novel fluorescent probe based on indacenodithiophene structure withπconjugated system was designed and *** experimental results show that the films prepared by this material exhibit rapid and distinct fluorescence quenching after being exposed to saturated vapours of primary amine,secondary amine and tertiary amine represented by n-propylamine,diethylamine and trimethylamine,*** quenching of fluorescence is 84%,87%and 96%,respectively,within 10 *** detection mechanism of probe for primary amine is based on specific chemical reaction,while the detection mechanism for secondary amine and tertiary amine is intramolecular charge *** experiments show that the detection limit of the fluorescent probe for trimethylamine,an important marker of food spoilage,could reach 4.610 ***-site detection based on spoilage of small yellow croaker suggests the material possesses the potential for food freshness *** simple fluorogenic probe is an original approach to simplify real-time visual monitoring of volatile amine vapour.
