Prescriptions are the main clinical application of traditional Chinese medicines(TCMs).Common forms include Chinese patent medicines,Kampo formulas,and hospital decoctions.A new pre-scription called“famous classical formulas”is recently developed and expected to boom in the *** constituent me-dicinal plants in prescriptions is critical for new drug development and quality control[1],which could avoid safety issues from adulteration or substandard ingredients,as seen in the notorious Longdan Xiegan Pill event.

A novel emissive probe consisting of an oxide cathode coating is developed to achieve a low operating temperature and long service *** properties of the novel emissive probe are investigated in detail,in comparison with a traditional tungsten emissive probe,including the operating temperature,the electron emission capability and the plasma potential *** of the operating temperature and electron emission capability show that the tungsten emissive probe usually works at a temperature of 1800 K-2200 K while the oxide cathode emissive probe can function at about 1200 K-1400 *** addition,plasma potential measurements using the oxide cathode emissive probe with different techniques have been accomplished in microwave electron cyclotron resonance plasmas with different discharge *** is found that a reliable plasma potential can be obtained using the improved inflection point method and the hot probe with zero emission limit method,while the floating point method is invalid for the oxide cathode emissive probe.

在城市发展史中,城市参与了现代国家的建构,现代城市从单一的国家权力表征逐步嬗变为资本与社会的空间结果。基于工商业的快速推动,国家对于城市的控制开始松动,城市在世界范围的增长也把大大小小的城镇纳入基于全球价值链的城市体系之中。但是不受控制的、基于资本的权力同样支配了城乡之间和城市内部的空间分布,进而损害了城市的核心价值。人民国家意味着人民主权,国家的城市与人民的城市拥有一致的政治目标;城市增长到城市高质量发展的转变,高水平的城市治理和高标准的公共生活,正是这一目标的体现。而实现这一目标仍然需要国家以妥善的形式重新进入城市,在权力自我约束的前提下,以人民性统领城市性,以人民性规范城市发展路径。

Triple points and phase transitions of D-dimensional dyonic Ad S black holes with quasitopological electromagnetism in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet gravity

By considering the negative cosmological constant Λ as a thermodynamic pressure, we study the thermodynamics and phase transitions of the D-dimensional dyonic Ad S black holes(BHs) with quasitopological electromagnetism in Einstein–Gauss–Bonnet(EGB) gravity. The results indicate that the small/large BH phase transition that is similar to the van der Waals(vdW) liquid/gas phase transition always exists for any spacetime dimensions. Interestingly, we then find that this BH system exhibits a more complex phase structure in 6-dimensional case that is missed in other ***, it shows for D = 6 that we observed the small/intermediate/large BH phase transitions in a specific parameter region with the triple point naturally appeared. Moreover, when the magnetic charge turned off, we still observed the small/intermediate/large BH phase transitions and triple point only in 6-dimensional spacetime, which is consistent with the previous results. However, for the dyonic Ad S BHs with quasitopological electromagnetism in Einstein–Born–Infeld(EBI) gravity, the novel phase structure composed of two separate coexistence curves observed by Li et al. [Phys. Rev. D105 104048(2022)] disappeared in EGB gravity. This implies that this novel phase structure is closely related to gravity theories, and seems to have nothing to do with the effect of quasitopological electromagnetism. In addition, it is also true that the critical exponents calculated near the critical points possess identical values as mean field theory. Finally, we conclude that these findings shall provide some deep insights into the intriguing thermodynamic properties of the dyonic Ad S BHs with quasitopological electromagnetism in EGB gravity.

Primary sclerosing cholangitis(PSC)is an autoimmune cholangiopathy characterized by chronic inflammation of the biliary epithelium and periductal fibrosis,with no curative treatment available,and liver transplantation is inevitable for end-stage *** placentalmesenchymal stem cell(hpMSC)-derived exosomes have demonstrated the ability to prevent fibrosis,inhibit collagen production and possess immunomodulatory properties in autoimmune liver ***,we prepared hpMSC-derived exosomes(Exo^(MSC))and further investigated the anti-fibrotic effects and detailed mechanism on PSC based on Mdr2^(−/−)mice and multicellular organoids established from PSC *** results showed that Exo^(MSC) ameliorated liver fibrosis in Mdr2^(−/−)mice with significant collagen reduction in the preductal area where Th17 differentiation was inhibited as demonstrated by RNAseq analysis,and the percentage of CD4+IL-17A+T cells was reduced both in Exo^(MSC)-treated Mdr2^(−/−)mice(Mdr2^(−/−)-Exo)in vivo and Exo^(MSC)-treated Th17 differentiation progressed in ***,Exo^(MSC) improved the hypersecretory phenotype and intercellular interactions in the hepatic Th17 microenvironment by regulating PERK/CHOP signaling as supported by multicellular ***,our data demonstrate the antifibrosis effect of Exo^(MSC) in PSC disease by inhibiting Th17 differentiation,and ameliorating the Th17-induced microenvironment,indicating the promising potential therapeutic role of Exo^(MSC) in liver fibrosis of PSC or Th17-related diseases.

Dual-state emission(DSE)molecules displayed conspicuous fluorescent performance both in solid and solution ***,the construction of DSE molecules and the regulation of their emission wavelengths remains a great *** on the structure-function relationship of quinolinonitrile-type fluorophores,this work proposed a feasible strategy for modulating their fluorescent properties into DSE via limiting the torsion angle between the quinoline ring and C=C bond in the range of 4.7°to 30°.Based on this strategy,53 compounds were obtained which displayed tunable emission wavelengths from^(3)97 nm to 740 nm in solid-state and from 360 nm to 672 nm in *** feasibility of the strategy was supported by a series of theoretical calculations,optical characterizations,and crystal analysis,suggesting the compounds have great potential in imaging living cells and tissues with desired wavelengths.

BACKGROUND While most complications of cervical surgery are reversible,some,such as symptomatic postoperative spinal epidural hematoma(SEH),which generally occurs within 24 h,are associated with increased morbidity and *** neurological dysfunction is diagnosed in cases when symptoms present>3 d *** to its rarity,the risk factors for delayed neurological dysfunction are ***,this condition can result in irreversible neurological deficits and serious *** this paper,we present a case of postoperative SEH that developed three days after hematoma *** SUMMARY A 68-year-old man with an American Spinal Injury Association(ASIA)grade C injury was admitted to our hospital with neck pain and tetraplegia following a *** C3-C7 posterior laminectomy and the lateral mass screw fixation surgery were performed on the tenth ***,the patient showed no changes in muscle strength or ASIA *** patient experienced neck pain and subcutaneous swelling on the third day postoperatively,his muscle strength decreased,and his ASIA score was grade *** resonance imaging showed hypointense signals on T1 weighted image(T1WI)and T2WI located behind the epidural space,with spinal cord *** surgical intervention for the hematoma was performed 12 h after *** hypoproteinemia and pleural effusion did not improve in the perioperative period,the patient recovered to ASIA grade C on day 30 after surgery,and was transferred to a functional rehabilitation exercise *** This case shows that amelioration of low blood albumin and pleural effusion is an important aspect of the perioperative management of cervical *** to relieve the pressure on the spinal cord should be performed as soon as possible to decrease neurological disabilities.

Objective:To investigate whether the combination of chemotherapy with staged Chinese herbal medicine(CHM) therapy could enhance health-related quality of life(QoL) in non-small-cell lung cancer(NSCLC)patients and prolong the time before deterioration of lung cancer symptoms,in comparison to chemotherapy ***:A prospective,double-blind,randomized,controlled trial was conducted from December 14,2017 to August 28,2020.A total of 180 patients with stage ⅠB-ⅢA NSCLC from 5 hospitals in Shanghai were randomly divided into chemotherapy combined with CHM(chemo+CHM) group(120 cases) or chemotherapy combined with placebo(chemo+placebo) group(60 cases) using stratified blocking *** European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer(EORTC) Quality-of-Life-Core 30 Scale(QLQ-C30) was used to evaluate the patient-reported outcomes(PROs) during postoperative adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with early-stage *** events(AEs) were assessed in the safety ***:Out of the total 180 patients,173 patients(116in the chemo+CHM group and 57 in the chemo+placebo group) were included in the PRO *** initial mean QLQ-C30 Global Health Status(GHS)/QoL scores at baseline were 57.16±1.64 and 57.67±2.25 for the two respective groups(P>0.05).Compared with baseline,the chemo+CHM group had an improvement in QLQ-C30GHS/QoL score at week 18 [least squares mean(LSM) change 17.83,95% confidence interval(CI) 14.29 to 21.38].Conversely,the chemo+placebo group had a decrease in the score(LSM change-13.67,95% CI-22.70 to-4.63).A significant between-group difference in the LSM GHS/QoL score was observed,amounting to 31.63 points(95% CI25.61 to 37.64,P<0.001).The similar trends were observed in physical functioning,fatigue and appetite *** week 18,patients in the chemo+CHM group had a higher proportion of improvement or stabilization in GHS/QoL functional and symptom scores compared to chemo+placebo group(P<0.001).The median time to deterioration
