Dear Editor, Cellular angiofibroma （CAF） is a rare benign mesenchymal lesion, which was first described in 1997 by Nucci et al.1 In previous reports, it has occurred mainly in the superficial soft tissue of the genital region, such as the scrotum, perineal, groin, vaginal introitus, and vulva,2 and rarely occurs in other locations. Here, we report a cellular angiofibroma in the epididymis; to our knowledge, such an epididymal location has not been reported in the literature so far. In this case, a 63-year-old male presented with a painless and well-circumscribed mass in the right epididymis.

The efficiency of electrochemical water splitting is extremely hampered by the sluggish oxygen evolution reaction(OER)occurred at the ***,developing high-performance OER electrocatalysts is crucial for realizing the industrialized application of water ***,a high-efficiency electrocatalyst of ruthenium-decorated nickel-iron hydroxide(10 Ru-NiFe LDH)supported on Ni foam is successfully synthesized for *** NiFe LDH with ruthenium can optimize the electronic density to form high valences of metal sites,which is beneficial to promote its OER ***,the 10 Ru-NiFe LDH only needs a low overpotential of 222 mV to achieve a current density of50 mA,cm^(-2),which exhibits fast OER kinetics with a small Tafel slope of 58 ***^(-1).Moreover,this electrocatalyst shows high stability over 20 h at a high current density of 100 mA·cm^(-2)without obvious *** decent OER performances can be ascribed to the increased active sites and the synergistic electronic interactions among Ni,Fe and *** work provides an effective approach for designing desirable electrocatalysts for OER.

Deep oil and gas reservoirs are under high-temperature conditions, but traditional coring methods do not consider temperature-preserved measures and ignore the influence of temperature on rock porosity and permeability, resulting in distorted resource assessments. The development of in situ temperaturepreserved coring(ITP-Coring) technology for deep reservoir rock is urgent, and thermal insulation materials are key. Therefore, hollow glass microsphere/epoxy resin thermal insulation materials(HGM/EP materials) were proposed as thermal insulation materials. The materials properties under coupled hightemperature and high-pressure(HTHP) conditions were tested. The results indicated that high pressures led to HGM destruction and that the materials water absorption significantly increased; additionally,increasing temperature accelerated the process. High temperatures directly caused the thermal conductivity of the materials to increase; additionally, the thermal conduction and convection of water caused by high pressures led to an exponential increase in the thermal conductivity. High temperatures weakened the matrix, and high pressures destroyed the HGM, which resulted in a decrease in the tensile mechanical properties of the materials. The materials entered the high elastic state at 150.C, and the mechanical properties were weakened more obviously, while the pressure led to a significant effect when the water absorption was above 10%. Meanwhile, the tensile strength/strain were 13.62 MPa/1.3%and 6.09 MPa/0.86% at 100.C and 100 MPa, respectively, which meet the application requirements of the self-designed coring device. Finally, K46-f40 and K46-f50 HGM/EP materials were proven to be suitable for ITP-Coring under coupled conditions below 100.C and 100 MPa. Understanding the quantitative responses of anisotropic dynamic properties in organic-rich shale with different kerogen content(KC)is of great significance in hydrocarbon exploration and *** controlled experiments with a single variable is challenging for natural shales due to their high variations in components,diagenesis conditions,or pore *** employed the hot-pressing technique to construct 11 well-controlled artificial shale with varying *** artificial shale samples were successive machined into prismatic shape for ultrasonic measurements along different *** revealed bedding perpendicular P-wave velocities are more sensitive to the increasing KC than bedding paralleling velocities due to the preferential alignments of *** elastic stiffnesses except C_(13)are generally decreasing with the increasing KC,the variation of C_(1) and C_(33)on kerogen content are more sensitive than those of C_(44)and C_(66).Apparent dynamic mechanical parameters(v and E)were found to have linear correlation with the true ones from complete anisotropic equations independent of KC,which hold value towards the interpretation of well logs consistently across formations,Anisotropic mechanical parameters(ΔE and brittlenessΔB)tend to decrease with the reducing KC,withΔB showing great sensitivity to KC *** the range of low KC(10%)shale,compilation of data from natural organic rich-shales globally verified the similar systematic relationships that can be empirically used to predict the fraction of KC in shales.

Nd（DBM）3Phen-doped （DBM is dibenzoylmethane and Phen is phenanthroline） polymethyl methacrylate （PMMA） is prepared. Optical absorption, excitation and emission spectra were analyzed for Nd^3＋ in Nd（DBM）3Phen-doped PMMA. Using the Judd-Ofelt theory, the absorption spectrum was analyzed. The Judd-Ofelt（J-O） intensity parameters of Nd（DBM）3Phen-doped polymethyl methacrylate were calculated to be Ω2 = 20.97 × 10^-20 cm^2, Ω4= 3.42 × 10^-20 cm^2, Ω6 = 2.90 × 10^-20 cm^2. The radiative lifetime （631 μs） of the excited 4F3/2 level is given. The stimulated emission cross-sections and the fluorescence branch ratios for the ^4F3/2 →^4Ij′ transitions are also evaluated. Analysis reveals that Nd（DBM）3Phen-doped PMMA is promising for application in polymer optical fibers and planar waveguides.

Phase change materials (PCMs) can be incorporated with low-cost minerals to synthesize composites for thermal energy storage in building *** coal (SC) after vanadium extraction treatment shows potential for secondary utilization in composite *** prepared SC-based composite PCMs with SC as a matrix,stearic acid (SA) as a PCM,and expanded graphite (EG) as an *** combined roasting and acid leaching treatment of raw SC was conducted to understand the effect of vanadium extraction on promoting loading *** showed that the combined treatment of roasting at 900℃ and leaching increased the SC loading of the composite by 6.2%by improving the specific surface *** loading capacity and thermal conductivity of the composite obviously increased by 127%and 48.19%,respectively,due to the contribution of 3wt% *** data were supported by the high load of 66.69%and thermal conductivity of 0.59 W·m^(-1)·K-1of the designed *** obtained composite exhibited a phase change temperature of 52.17℃,melting latent heat of 121.5 J·g^(-1),and good chemical *** SC-based composite has prospects in building applications exploiting the secondary utilization of minerals.

The shock-induced reaction mechanism and characteristics of Ni/Al system,considering an Al nanoparticle-embedded Ni single crystal,are investigated through molecular dynamics *** the shock melting of Al nanoparticle,interfacial crystallization and dissolution are the main *** reaction degree of Al particle first increases linearly and then logarithmically with time driven by rapid mechanical mixing and following *** reaction rate increases with the decrease of particle diameter,however,the reaction is seriously hindered by interfacial crystallization when the diameter is lower than 9 nm in our ***,we found a negative exponential growth in the fraction of crystallized Al atoms,and the crystallinity of B2-NiAl(up to 20%)is positively correlated with the specific surface area of Al *** can be attributed to the formation mechanism of B2-NiAl by structural evolution of finite mixing layer near the collapsed *** shock melting of both Al particle and Ni matrix,the liquid-liquid phase inter-diffusion is the main reaction mechanism that can be enhanced by the formation of internal *** addition,the enhanced diffusion is manifested in the logarithmic growth law of mean square displacement,which results in an almost constant reaction rate similar to the mechanical mixing process.
