Optimization of Low Phosphorus Steel Production With Double Slag Process in BOF

To produce the steel with phosphorus less than 0. 007% （mass percent）, the double slag process has been optimized in basic oxygen furnace （BOF）. Dephosphorization and decarburization are performed in sequence in the same converter. Deslagging is conducted twice, each at the end of dephosphorization and decarburization, by tilting the BOF. Production was tested in a 180 t BOF. Mass percent of phosphorus in steel at BOF blow end has been made to as low as 0. 004 2 % after optimizing operational parameters. Factors affecting dephosphorization performance were studied. Before intermediate deslagging, dephosphorization is determined by the mass transfer of phosphorus from metal/slag interface to bulk slag phase rather than equilibrium thermodynamic conditions. After intermediate deslag-ging, dephosphorization is deter/nined by the equilibriurn thermodynamic conditions such as slag composition and temperature.

Dexamethasone has been widely used after various neurosurgical procedures due to its anti-inflammatory property and the abilities to restore vascular permeability,inhibit free radicals,and reduce cerebrospinal fluid *** to the latest guidelines for the treatment of traumatic brain injury in the United States,high-dose glucocorticoids cause neurological *** investigate the reason why high-dose glucocorticoids after traumatic brain injury exhibit harmful effect,rat controlled cortical impact models of traumatic brain injury were *** 1 hour and 2 days after surgery,rat models were intraperitoneally administered dexamethasone 10 mg/*** results revealed that 31 proteins were significantly upregulated and 12 proteins were significantly downregulated in rat models of traumatic brain injury after dexamethasone *** Ingenuity Pathway Analysis results showed that differentially expressed proteins were enriched in the mitochondrial dysfunction pathway and synaptogenesis signaling *** blot analysis and immunohistochemistry results showed that Ndufv2,Maob and Gria3 expression and positive cell count in the dexamethasone-treated group were significantly greater than those in the model *** findings suggest that dexamethasone may promote a compensatory increase in complex I subunits(Ndufs2 and Ndufv2),increase the expression of mitochondrial enzyme Maob,and upregulate synaptic-transmission-related protein *** changes may be caused by nerve injury after traumatic brain injury treatment by *** study was approved by Institutional Ethics Committee of Beijing Neurosurgical Institute(approval No.201802001)on June 6,2018.

We investigate the bandwidth allocation and power control schemes in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based multi-hop cognitive radio networks,and the color-sensitive graph coloring (CSGC) model is viewed as an efficient solution to the spectrum assignment problem. We extend the model by taking into account the power control strategy to avoid interference among secondary users and adapt dynamic topology. We formulate the optimization problem encompassing the channel allocation,power control with the interference constrained below a tolerable limit. The optimization objective with two different optimization strategies focuses on the routes rather than the links as in traditional approaches. A heuristic solution to this nondeterministic polynomial (NP)-hard problem is presented,which performs iterative channel allocation according to the lowest transmission power that guarantees the link connection and makes channel reuse as much as possible,and then the transmission power of each link is maximized to improve the channel capacity by gradually adding power level from the lowest transmission power until all co-channel links cannot satisfy the interference constraints. Numerical results show that our proposed strategies outperform the existing spectrum assignment algorithms in the performance of both the total network bandwidth and minimum route bandwidth of all routes,meanwhile,saving the transmission power.

Hydroquinone(HQ)poses immeasurable risk to human health and the natural environment on the grounds of high toxicity of organic phenolic ***,an innovative electrochemical sensor based on two-dimensional nickel molybdate nanowires(NiMoO_(4)NWs)is constructed for the ultra-sensitive determination of HQ,which can provide useful reference for the human health and environment ***-dimensional NiMoO_(4)NWs are prepared successfully through a facile hydrothermal reaction and annealing *** obtained two-dimensional NiMoO_(4)NWs are characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),transmission electron microscopy(TEM),high-resolution TEM(HRTEM),energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDS)mapping and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS).The accurate contents of Ni and Mo have been characterized by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy(ICP-AES),confirming that the lower content of the nickel in NiMoO_(4)NWs possesses the higher catalytic activity of *** the optimized conditions,the constructed HQ sensor exhibits satisfactory electrocatalytic activity with a low detection limit of 0.0355μmol/L(S/N=3),a wide linear range of 0.05-4600μmol/L and sensitivity of 170.064μA/(mmol cm^(2)).The sensor has been successfully applied to the detection of HQ in rainwater,tap water,domestic sewage and drinking water samples with satisfactory *** the same time,this sensor has excellent reproducibility,selectivity,and *** constructed sensor has potential practical application value and broad application prospect in human health and environmental monitoring.

The circadian clock maintains the daily rhythms of plant growth and anticipates predictable ambient temperature *** evening complex(EC),comprising EARLY FLOWERING 3(ELF3),ELF4,and LUX ARRHYTHMO,plays an essential role in suppressing thermoresponsive hypocotyl growth by negatively regulating PHYTOCHROME INTERACTING FACTOR 4(PIF4)activity and its downstream targets in Arabidopsis ***,how EC activity is attenuated by warm temperatures remains ***,we demonstrate that warm temperature-induced REVEILLE7(RVE7)fine-tunes thermoresponsive growth in Arabidopsis by repressing ELF4 ***7 transcript and RVE7 protein levels increased in response to warm *** warm temperature conditions,an rve7 loss-of-function mutant had shorter hypocotyls,while overexpressing RVE7 promoted hypocotyl ***4 accumulation and downstream transcriptional effects were reduced in the rve7 mutant but enhanced in RVE7 overexpression plants under warm ***7 associates with the Evening Element in the ELF4 promoter and directly represses its ***4 is epistatic to RVE7,and overexpressing ELF4 suppressed the phenotype of the RVE7 overexpression line under warm temperature ***,our results identify RVE7 as an important regulator of thermoresponsive growth that functions(in part)by controlling ELF4 transcription,highlighting the importance of ELF4 for thermomorphogenesis in plants.

The drug-eluting stent(DES)has become one of the most successful and important medical devices for coronary heart disease,but yet suffers from insufficient endothelial cell(EC)growth and intima repair,eventually leading to treatment *** biomacromolecules such as vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)would be promising to promote the intima regeneration,combining hydrophilic and vulnerable biomacromolecules with hydrophobic drugs as well as preserving the bioactivity after harsh treatments pose a huge ***,we report on a design of hierarchical capillary coating,which composes a base solid region and a top microporous region for incorporating rapamycin and VEGF,*** top spongy region can guarantee the efficient,safe,and controllable loading of VEGF up to 1μg/cm^(2) in 1 minute,providing a distinctive real-time loading capacity for saving the *** on this,we demonstrate that our rapamycin-VEGF hierarchical coating impressively promoted the competitive growth of endothelial cells over smooth muscle cells(ratio of EC/SMC~25)while relieving the adverse impact of rapamycin to *** further conducted the real-time loading of VEGF on stents and demonstrate that the hierarchical combination of rapamycin and VEGF showed remarkable endothelium regeneration while maintaining a very low level of in-stent *** work paves an avenue for the combination of both hydrophobic and hydrophilic functional molecules,which should benefit the next generation of DES and may extend applications to diversified combination medical devices.

Nanocomposite is proved to be an effective method to improve thermoelectric *** the present study,graphene is introduced into p-type skutterudite La0.8Ti0.1Ga0.1Fe3CoSb12 by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition（PECVD）method to form skutterudite/graphene *** is demonstrated that the graphene has no obvious effect on the electrical conductivity of La0.8Ti0.1Ga0.1Fe3CoSb12,but the Seebeck coefficient is slightly improved at high temperature,thereby leading to high power ***,due to the enhancement of phonon scattering by the graphene,the lattice thermal conductivity is reduced ***,the maximum z T value of La0.8Ti0.1Ga0.1Fe3CoSb12/graphene is higher than that of graphene-free alloy and reaches to 1.0 at 723 *** an approach raised by us enriches prospects for future practical application.

Detection of circulating tumor cells （CTCs） plays an important role in cancer diagnosis and prognosis. In this study, aptamer-conjugated upconversion nano- particles （UCNPs） are used for the first time as nanoprobes to recognize tumor cells, which are then enriched by attaching with magnetic nanoparticles （MNPs） and placing in the presence of a magnetic field. Owing to the autofluorescence- free nature of upconversion luminescence imaging, as well as the use of magnetic separation to further reduce background signals, our technique allows for highly sensitive detection and collection of small numbers of tumor cells spiked into healthy blood samples, and shows promise for CTC detection in medical diagnostics.
