Synchrotron-based angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy was employed to investigate the temperature evolution of the Yb 4 f spectral for surface and bulk in the Kondo lattice YbCu_(2)Si_(2).Our study quantitatively distinguishes between the surface and bulk hybridization processes,revealing that the onset temperatures for both surface and bulk hybridization processes are significantly higher than the Kondo ***,we found that the effective surface Kondo temperature is much lower than that of the *** findings offer valuable insights into the understanding of heavy fermion physics.

BACKGROUND The effectiveness of neoadjuvant therapy in esophageal cancer(EC)treatment is still a subject of *** To compare the clinical efficacy and toxic side effects between neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy(nCRT)and neoadjuvant chemotherapy(nCT)for locally advanced EC(LAEC).METHODS A comprehensive search was conducted using multiple databases,including PubMed,EMBASE,MEDLINE,Science Direct,The Cochrane Library,China National Knowledge Infrastructure,Wanfang Database,Chinese Science and Technology Journal Database,and Chinese Biomedical Literature Database *** up to December 2022 comparing nCRT and nCT in patients with EC were *** The analysis revealed significant differences between nCRT and nCT in terms of disease-free *** results indicated that nCRT provided better outcomes in terms of the 3-year overall survival rate(OSR)[odds ratio(OR)=0.95],complete response rate(OR=3.15),and R0 clearance rate(CR)(OR=2.25).However,nCT demonstrated a better 5-year OSR(OR=1.02)than ***,when compared to nCRT,nCT showed reduced risks of cardiac complications(OR=1.15)and pulmonary complications(OR=1.30).CONCLUSION Overall,both nCRT and nCT were effective in terms of survival outcomes for ***,nCT exhibited better performance in terms of postoperative complications.

Seismic anisotropy originating within the continental crust is commonly used to determine the deformation and kinematic flow within active orogens and is attributed to regionally oriented mica or hornblende ***,naturally deformed rocks usually contain compositional layers(e.g.,parallel compositional banding).It is necessary to understand how both varying mineral contents and differing intensities of compositional layering influence the seismic properties of the deep *** this study,we analyzed the seismic response of migmatitic amphibolite with compositional banding *** present the microstructures,fabrics,calculated seismic velocities,and seismic anisotropies of mylonitic amphibolite from a horizontal shear layer preserved within the Ailao Shan-Red River shear zone,southwestern Yunnan,*** investigated sample is characterized by pronounced centimeter-scale compositional *** microstructures and fabrics suggest that migmatitic amphibolite rocks within deep crust may delineate regions of deformation-assisted,channelized,reactive,porous melt *** origin of compositional banding in the studied migmatitic amphibolite is attributed primarily to partial melting together with some horizontal shearing *** microfabrics and structures investigated in this study are considered to be typical for the base of active horizontal shear layers in the deep crust of southeastern *** responses are modeled by using crystal preferred orientations for minerals of the migmatitic amphibolite by applying the Voigt-Reuss-Hill homogenization *** P-wave and S-wave velocities are largely consistent in the various layers of the ***,seismic anisotropies of P-wave(AV_(p))and S-wave(AVs)are higher in the melanosomes(AV_(p)=5.6%,AV_(s)=6.83%)than those in the leucosomes and the whole rock(AV_(p)=4.2%–4.6%,AV_(s)=3.1%–3.2%).In addition,there is pronounced,S-wave splitting oblique to the foliation plane in the migm

Significant advancements have beenwitnessed in visual tracking applications leveragingViT in recent years,mainly due to the formidablemodeling capabilities of Vision Transformer(ViT).However,the strong performance of such trackers heavily relies on ViT models pretrained for long periods,limitingmore flexible model designs for tracking *** address this issue,we propose an efficient unsupervised ViT pretraining method for the tracking task based on masked autoencoders,called *** pretraining,we employ two shared-parameter ViTs,serving as the appearance encoder and motion encoder,*** appearance encoder encodes randomly masked image data,while the motion encoder encodes randomly masked pairs of video ***,an appearance decoder and a motion decoder separately reconstruct the original image data and video frame data at the pixel *** this way,ViT learns to understand both the appearance of images and the motion between video frames *** results demonstrate that ViT-Base and ViT-Large models,pretrained with TrackMAE and combined with a simple tracking head,achieve state-of-the-art(SOTA)performance without additional ***,compared to the currently popular MAE pretraining methods,TrackMAE consumes only 1/5 of the training time,which will facilitate the customization of diverse models for *** instance,we additionally customize a lightweight ViT-XS,which achieves SOTA efficient tracking performance.

Network intrusion detection systems(NIDS)based on deep learning have continued to make significant ***,the following challenges remain:on the one hand,simply applying only Temporal Convolutional Networks(TCNs)can lead to models that ignore the impact of network traffic features at different scales on the detection *** the other hand,some intrusion detection methods considermulti-scale information of traffic data,but considering only forward network traffic information can lead to deficiencies in capturing multi-scale temporal *** address both of these issues,we propose a hybrid Convolutional Neural Network that supports a multi-output strategy(boNUS)for industrial internet intrusion ***,we create a multiscale Temporal Convolutional Network by stacking TCN of different scales to capture the multiscale information of network ***,we propose a bi-directional structure and dynamically set the weights to fuse the forward and backward contextual information of network traffic at each scale to enhance the model’s performance in capturing the multi-scale temporal features of network *** addition,we introduce a gated network for each of the two branches in the proposed method to assist the model in learning the feature representation of each *** experiments reveal the effectiveness of the proposed approach on two publicly available traffic intrusion detection datasets named UNSW-NB15 and NSL-KDD with F1 score of 85.03% and 99.31%,respectively,which also validates the effectiveness of enhancing the model’s ability to capture multi-scale temporal features of traffic data on detection performance.

Dear Editor,We present the first time,a case of a patient developed cerebrospinal fluid(CSF)leak and pneumocranium following optic canal decompression(OCD).INTRODUCTION Indirect traumatic optic neuropathy(ITON)impairs visual functions and quality of *** transnasal optic canal decompression(ETOCD)is one of the standard treatment strategies for the *** the ETOCD,the optic nerve sheath are usually incised for sufficient decompression of optic nerve after removal of optic canal,which is associated with complications like CSF leakage,ophthalmic artery injury,and optic nerve injury[1].Generally,the mild CSF leak is common and can heal spontaneously using conventional treatment,the severe CSF leak requires surgical repair[2].

C 2 and LaC + 2 were studied using Hartree Fock(HF), B3LYP (Becke 3 paremeter Lee Yang Parr) density functional method, second order Mφller Plesset perturbation(MP2) and coupled cluster singles and doubles with non iterative triples(CCSD(T)) methods. The basis set employed was LANL1DZ. Geometries, vibrational frequencies and other quantities were reported. The results showed that for C 2, all the methods performed well for low spin state(singlet), while only HF and B3LYP remained so for high spin state(triplet). For LaC + 2, four isomers were presented and fully optimized. The results suggested that linear isomers with C ∞v and D ∞h symmetries were predicted to be saddle points on the energy surface for all the methods, while for isomers with C 2v and C s symmetries, they were local minima except C 2v at B3LYP level, and were isoenergetic at HF, MP2 and CCSD(T) levels, near isoenergetic at B3LYP level. From the differences between HOMO and LUMO, it is also known that the isomers with C 2v and C s symmetries offer the largest values and therefore correspond to the most stable structure. For La—C bond lengths, B3LYP gives the shortest, the order is B3LYP

Recently,the preparation of ultra-high temperature HfC ceramic coating has gained significant attention,particularly through the application of the HfCl_(4)-CH_(4)-H_(2)-Ar system via Chemical Vapor Deposition(CVD),which has been found widely applied to C/C ***,an analysis of the reactions that occur in the initial stage of the CVD-HfC coating process is presented using Density Functional Theory(DFT)and Transition State Theory(TST)at the B3LYP/Lanl2DZ *** results reveal that HfCl4 can only cleave to produce hypochlorite,which will further react with methyl to synthesize intermediates to form *** to the analysis of the energy barrier and reaction constant,HfCl preferentially reacts with methyl groups to form complex adsorptive intermediates at 1573 *** a C—Hf bond production energy of 212.8 kcal/mol(1 kcal=4.18 kJ),the reaction rate constant of HfCl+CH is calculated to be 2.15×10^(-18) cm^(3)/s at 1573 ***,both the simulation and experimental results exhibit that the upward trend of reaction rate constants with temperature is also consistent with the deposition rate,indicating that the growth curve of the reaction rate constants tends to flatten *** proposed reaction model of the precursor’s decomposition and reconstruction during deposition process has significant implication for the process guidance.

Comprehensive Summary,The azepine ring is a prominent structural scaffold in biologically significant molecules. In this study, we present a Ni(II)-catalyzed asymmetric difunctionalization of alkynes, involving intermolecular regioselective arylation and intramolecular nitrile addition, enabling the synthesis of enantioenriched azepine derivatives. This reaction simultaneously installs an all-carbon quaternary stereocenter and introduces an unprotected imine functionality, showing great promise for subsequent transformations. The reaction exhibits good tolerance toward various functional groups, resulting in high yields and enantioselectivities. The synthetic utility of this methodology is further demonstrated through gram-scale synthesis and product derivatization. This research offers an efficient approach to the synthesis of seven-membered nitrogen heterocycles.
