The Progression of Atrophic Gastritis to Gastric Cancer: A Retrospective Study in 61,810 Cases

Background and Aim: Chronic atrophic gastritis is a known precancerous lesion for gastric cancer, with an overall 5-year survival less than 20%. However, there is few new data describing the progression rate from atrophic gastritis (AG) to gastric cancer in China. We retrospectively analyzed the risk of gastric cancer among patients with AG and aimed to determine the accuracy of endoscopy diagnosis of AG in China. Methods: Clinical features and endoscopic profiles of chronic atrophic gastritis patients from Wenzhou People’s Hospital between January 2006 and December 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. Results: There were 61,810 cases analyzed retrospectively. 3641 cases of atopic gastritis were diagnosed by endoscopy, in which 1704 cases were confirmed by pathological biopsy;the diagnostic coincidence rate was 46.80%;2631 cases were diagnosed as atrophic gastritis by pathological biopsy, in which 927 cases were ignored by endoscopy;the miss diagnosis rate was 35.23%. The progression rate from chronic atrophic gastritis and non-atrophic gastritis to gastric cancer respectively was 0.79% and 0.43%. The rate of intestinal metaplasia in mild AG, moderate AG and severe AG respectively was 75.63%, 86.18% and 90.32%, 3.42%, 6.27% and 5.16% about dysplasia in three different degree atrophic gastritis. Conclusions: Endoscopy diagnosis and pathology diagnosis of AG were statistically different. Patients with atrophic gastritis have higher risk of developing into gastric cancer, but it needs further investigation. Different degrees of atrophic gastritis have the different proportions of intestinal metaplasia and dysplasia.

The global spin alignment of vector mesons has been observed by the STAR collaboration at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider(RHIC)at Brookhaven National Laboratory(BNL).It provides a unique opportunity to probe the correlation between the po-larized quark and antiquark in the strongly coupled quark-gluon plasma(sQGP)produced in relativistic heavy ion collisions,opening a new window to explore the properties of *** addition,spin alignments of vector mesons have also been observed in other high-energy particle collisions such as e^(+)e^(−)annihilations at high energies where hadron production is dominated by quark fragmentation *** results obtained are quite different from those obtained in heavy ion collisions where quark coalescence/combination mechanism dominates suggesting strong dependence on hadronization *** comprehensive studies in different hadronization processes are *** this article,we present a brief review of theoretical and experimen-tal advances in the study of vector meson’s spin alignments in a variety of high-energy particle collisions,with emphasis on hadronization mechanisms.

In current neural network algorithms for nuclide identification in high-background,poor-resolution detectors,traditional network paradigms including back-propagation networks,convolutional neural networks,recurrent neural networks,etc.,have been limited in research on γ spectrum analysis because of their inherent mathematical *** is difficult to make progress in terms of training data requirements and prediction *** contrast to traditional network paradigms,network models based on the transformer structure have the characteristics of parallel computing,position encoding,and deep stacking,which have enabled good performance in natural language processing tasks in recent ***,in this paper,a transformer-based neural network (TBNN) model is proposed to achieve nuclide identification for the first ***,the Geant4 program was used to generate the basic single-nuclide energy spectrum through Monte Carlo simulations.A multi-nuclide energy spectrum database was established for neural network training using random matrices of γ-ray energy,activity,and *** on the encoder–decoder structure,a network topology based on the transformer was built,transforming the 1024-channel energy spectrum data into a 32×32 energy spectrum sequence as the model *** experiments and adjustments of model parameters,including the learning rate of the TBNN model,number of attention heads,and number of network stacking layers,the overall recognition rate reached 98.7%.Additionally,this database was used for training AI models such as back-propagation networks,convolutional neural networks,residual networks,and long shortterm memory neural networks,with overall recognition rates of 92.8%,95.3%,96.3%,and 96.6%,*** indicates that the TBNN model exhibited better nuclide identification among these AI models,providing an important reference and theoretical basis for the practical application of transformers in the qualitative and quantitativ

Background： The Patterns of Non-Adherence to Anti-Platelet Regimens in Stented Patients （PARIS） bleeding score is a novel score for predicting the out-of-hospital bleeding risk after percutaneous coronary intervention （PCI）. However, whether this score has the same value in non-European and American populations is unclear. This study aimed to assess the PARIS bleeding score＇s predictive value of bleeding in patients alter PCI in the Chinese population. Methods： We perforined a prospective, observational study of 10,724 patients who underwent PCI from January to December 2013, in Fuwai Hospital, China. We defined the primary end point as major bleeding （MB） according to Bleeding Academic Research Consortium definition criteria including Type 2, 3, or 5. The predictive value of the PARIS bleeding score was assessed with the area under the receiver operating characteristic （AUROC） curve. Results： Of 9782 patients, 245 （2.50%） MB events occurred during the 2 years of follow-up. The PAP, IS bleeding score was significantly higher in the MB group than that of non-MB group （4.00 [3.00, 5.00] vs. 3.00 [2.00, 5.00], Z=3.71, P 〈 0.001 ）. According to risk stratification of the PARIS bleeding score, the bleeding risk in the intermediate- and high-risk groups was 1.50 times （hazard ratio [HR]： 1.50; 95% confidence interval [CI]： 1.160-1.950; P=0.002） and 2.27 times higher （HR： 2.27; 95% CI： 1,320-3.900： P=0.003） than that in the low-risk group. The PARIS bleeding score showed a moderate predictive value for MB in the overall population （AUROC： 0.568, 95% CI： 0.532-0.605; P 〈 0.001 ） and acute coronary syndrome （ACS） subgroup （AUROC： 0.578, 95% CI： 0.530-0.626; P = 0.001 ） and tended to be predictive in the non-ACS subgroup （AUROC： 0.556, 95% CI： 0,501 0.611; P = 0.054）.

In this paper, a type of reinforcing structure for composite shell with single and through hole is presented. The experimental tests for the composite shells without hole, with single hole and reinforced structure, with through hole and reinforced structure subjected to hydrostatic pressure were carried out by the designed experimental test system. The mechanical responses of the composite shells under hydrostatic pressure are obtained by the high-speed camera and strain measurement. The results show that the entire deformation process of the shell can be divided into three: uniform compression, "buckling mode formation" and buckling. The "buckling mode formation" process is captured and reported for the first time. For the composite shell with single hole, the proposed reinforcing structure has a significant reinforcement effect on the shell and the buckling capacity of the shell is not weaker than the complete composite shell. For the composite shell with through hole, sealing effect can be achieved by the proposed reinforcing structure, but the buckling capacity of the shell after reinforcement can only reach 77% of the original buckling capacity.

Background: The patterns of nonadherence to antiplatelet regimen in stented patients(PARIS) thrombotic risk score are a novel score for predicting the risk of coronary thrombotic events(CTEs) after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) with drug?eluting ***, the prognostic value of this score has not been fully evaluated in non?Euro?American PCI ***: We performed a prospective, observational study of 10,724 patients who underwent PCI in Fuwai hospital, China and evaluated the PARIS thrombotic risk score’s predictive value of CTEs in the PCI population. The area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC) was used to assess the predictive value of the PARIS score for ***: Among 9782 patients without in?hospital events, a total of 95 CTEs occurred during the 2?year follow?up. The PARIS score was significantly higher in patients with CTEs(3.38 ± 2.04) compared with patients without events(2.53 ± 1.70, P < 0.001).According to the risk stratification of the PARIS thrombotic score, the risk of CTEs in the high?risk group was 3.14 times higher than that in the low?risk group(hazard ratio [HR], 3.14; 95% confidence interval [CI], 1.92–5.13; P < 0.001). However, the risk of CTEs in the intermediate?risk and low?risk groups was not significant(HR, 1.39; 95% CI, [0.86–2.24]; P = 0.184). The PARIS score showed prognostic value in evaluating CTEs in the overall population(AUROC, 0.621; 95% CI, 0.561–0.681), the acute coronary syndrome(ACS) population(AUROC, 0.617; 95% CI, 0.534–0.700; P = 0.003), and the non?ACS population(AUROC, 0.647; 95%CI, 0.558–0.736; P = 0.001).Conclusions: In a real?world Chinese population, the PARIS thrombotic risk score shows a modest prognostic value for CTEs in patients after PCI. This score also has a predictive value for CTEs in the ACS and non?ACS subgroup populations.

As one of the most promising Kitaev quantum-spin-liquid(QSL)candidates,α-RuCl_(3)has received a great deal of ***,its ground state exhibits a long-range zigzag magnetic order,which defies the QSL ***,the magnetic order is fragile and can be completely suppressed by applying an external magnetic ***,we explore the evolution of magnetic excitations ofα-RuCl;under an in-plane magnetic field,by carrying out inelastic neutron scattering measurements on high-quality single *** zero field,there exist spin-wave excitations near the M point and a continuum near theΓpoint,which are believed to be associated with the zigzag magnetic order and fractional excitations of the Kitaev QSL state,*** increasing the magnetic field,the spin-wave excitations gradually give way to the continuous *** the verge of the critical fieldμ_(0)H_(c)=7.5 T,the former ones vanish and only the latter ones are left,indicating the emergence of a pure QSL *** further increasing the field strength,the excitations near theΓpoint become more *** following the gap evolution of the excitations near theΓpoint,we are able to establish a phase diagram composed of three interesting phases,including a gapped zigzag order phase at low fields,possibly gapless QSL phase nearμ;H;,and gapped partially polarized phase at high *** results demonstrate that an in-plane magnetic field can driveα-RuCl;into a long-sought QSL state near the critical field.

The selective construction of sophisticated supramolecular topologies has always attracted the remarkable attention of ***,various molecular knots and catenanes have recently been reported and were obtained either accidentally or by following a previously planned synthetic ***,we introduce a series of supramolecular topologies including double trefoil knot (1),trefoil knot (2) and[2]catenanes (4,5),which were prepared via an elaborated self-assembly strategy by using half-sandwich units based on a flexible pyridyl linker *** formation of all the structures has been confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and NMR spectroscopy,and ***,the central potassium ion of 1 coordinates six oxygen atoms belonging to six amide groups from two trefoil *** double trefoil knot 1 and[2]catenanes 4,5 are stabilized by parallel-displacedπ···πstacking interactions (of interlayer distance 3.34–3.82?) between the pyridyl fraction and phenyl moieties of three ligands L1,and by edge-to-face-type CH···πinteractions (2.64–2.83?) between BiBzIm conjugated planes and phenyl hydrocarbon ***,the addition/removal of potassium ions resulted in topological transformation between the double trefoil knot 1 and the trefoil knot *** addition,the addition of DMF-d7to a methanolic solution of the double trefoil knot 1 induced its structural conversion into the metallamacrocycle *** photothermal studies of 1,4,and 5 showed different photothermal responses in solid and solution ***,the photothermal conversion efficiencies of 4,and 5 were within the limit of 16.8%–45.1%based on different power areas,the number and the fashion ofπ···πstacking interactions can directly affect the photothermal conversion efficiency,and EPR experiments confirmed the recorded results.
