A current development trend in research on intelligent systems is to optimize a general intelligent prediction system into an individuation intelligent prediction system that is applied in specialized fields. Protein structure prediction is a challenging international issue. In this paper, we propose a new intelligent prediction system model, designed as a multi-layer compound pyramid model, for predicting secondary protein structure. The model comprises four independent intelligent interfaces and several knowledge discovery methods. The model penetrates throughout the domain knowledge, with the effective attributes chosen by Causal Cellular Automata. Furthermore, a high pure structure database is constructed for training. On the RS126 dataset, the overall state per-residue accuracy, Q3, reached 83.99%, while on the CB513 dataset, Q3 reached 85.58%. Meanwhile, on the CASP8 sequences, the results are superior to those produced by other methods, such as Psipred, Jpred, APSSP2 and BehairPred. These results confirm that our method has a strong generalization ability, and that it provides a model for the construction of other intelligent systems.

A versatile analytical method(VAM) for calculating the harmonic components of the magnetomotive force(MMF) generated by diverse armature windings in AC machines has been proposed, and the versatility of this method has been established in early literature. However, its practical applications and significance in advancing the analysis of AC machines need further elaboration. This paper aims to complement VAM by augmenting its theory, offering additional insights into its conclusions, as well as demonstrating its utility in assessing armature windings and its application of calculating torque for permanent magnet synchronous machines(PMSM). This work contributes to advancing the analysis of AC machines and underscores the potential for improved design and performance optimization.

It is difficult to make an inventory of vertical profiles of forest structure parameters in field ***,analysis and understanding of forest backscattering characteristics contribute to estimation and detection of forest vertical structure because of the close relationships between backscattering characteristics and structure *** vertical structure function in the complex interferometric coherence definition,which represents the vertical variation of microwave scattering with the penetration depth at a point in the 2-D radar image and can be used to analyze the forest backscattering characteristics,can be reconstructed from polarization coherence tomography(PCT).Based on PCT,the paper analyzes the forest backscattering characteristics and explores the inherent relationship between the result of PCT and the forest structure parameters from numerical simulation of Random Volume over Ground model(RVoG),Polarimetric SAR interferometry(PolInSAR)simulation of forest scene and PolInSAR data at L-band of the test site ***,the effects of the extinction coefficient and surface-to-volume scattering ratio in RVoG model on vertical backscattering characteristics are analyzed by means of numerical ***,by applying PCT to L-band POLInSAR simulations of forest scene,different variations of vertical backscattering due to different extinction coefficients and the ratios of surface-to-volume scattering resulting from different polarizations,forest types and densities are displayed and *** a concept of relative average backscattering intensity is presented,and the factors which affect its vertical distribution are also *** results show that there is high sensitivity of the vertical distribution of forest relative average backscattering intensity to the polarization,forest type and ***,based on repeat pass DLR E-SAR L-band airborne POLInSAR data,the capability of PCT technology for detection

Level Set interface treatment method is introduced into Euler method,which is employed for interface treatment method for multi-materials. Combined with the ghost fluid method,the moving interface is tracked. Fifth-order WENO spatial discretization and third-order TVD Runge-Kutta time discretization methods are used. Shock-wave action on bubble,implosion and velocity field Shock effect bubbles; implosion and velocity field are simulated by means of LS-MMIC3D programmed by C++. Nu-merical results show that the Level Set interface treatment method is effective and feasible for multi-material interface treatment in comparison with the WENO method.

This paper investigates the minimum-time trajectory planning problem of an autonomous vehicle. To deal with unknown and uncertain dynamics of the vehicle, the trajectory planning problem is modeled as a Markov decision process with a continuous action space. To solve it, we propose a continuous advantage learning(CAL) algorithm based on the advantage-value equation, and adopt a stochastic policy in the form of multivariate Gaussian distribution to encourage exploration. A shared actor-critic architecture is designed to simultaneously approximate the stochastic policy and the value function, which greatly reduces the computation burden compared to general actor-critic methods. Moreover, the shared actor-critic is updated with a loss function built as mean square consistency error of the advantage-value equation, and the update step is performed several times at each time step to improve data efficiency. Simulations validate the effectiveness of the proposed CAL algorithm and its better performance than the soft actor-critic algorithm.

Antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)might have great effect on ecological security and human *** are important reservoirs that receive tremendous amounts of pollutants ***,information on the proliferation of ARGs in seawater is still *** study performed field sampling to investigate the occurrence and distribution of ARGs in seawater of the South china Sea,which is the deepest and largest sea in *** results showed that the total absolute abundances of ARGs in seawater samples ranged from 2.1×10^(3)to 2.3×10^(4)copies/mL,with an of 5.0×10^(3)copies/mL and a range of 2.2×10^(3)–1.8×10^(4)copies/mL for those with mobile genetic elements(MGEs).Genes resistant to multidrug,aminoglycoside,tetracycline,and fluoroquinolone antibiotics accounted for 77.3%–88.6%of total ARGs in *** and Cyanobacteria represented 32.1%–56.2%and 30.4%–49.5%of microbial community,***_MIT9313 and Clade_la were the prevalent genera in seawater of the South china *** co-occurrence relationship existed among ARGs,MGEs,and *** activities had critical influence on ARGs and *** wastewater,wastewater treatment plant effluent,sewage,aquaculture tailwater,and runoff were determined as the important sources of ARGs in seawater of the South china Sea based on positive matrix factorization analysis.

The polarization properties for tilted fiber Bragg gratings (TFBGs) are investigated theoretically based on coupled-mode theory and Mueller matrix method. The expression of wavelength-related polarizationdependent loss (PDL) for TFBGs with different tilt angles is derived and calculated. Simulation results are compared, and the results indicate that the polarization capability of TFBGs with 45° angle is stronger than other TFBGs with smaller angles. The degree of polarization for unpolarized light passing TFBGs is also simulated to further evaluate the polarization properties for various tilt angles. In addition, the relationship between physical parameters of a TFBG and its polarization capability is discussed.

In this paper,we propose a new media access control (MAC) protocol,which is compatible with the IEEE 802.16e-2005 Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) wireless *** this protocol,the same radio resource can be shared by neighboring cells in the wireless mesh network (WMN) and collisions can be reduced in the overlapping *** protocol consists of two schemes: a downlink transmission and an uplink *** downlink transmission we use a cross layer adaptive radio resource allocation (CL-ARRA) scheme,which consists of two steps: a dynamic subcarrier allocation (DSA) and a dynamic power allocation (DPA).For uplink transmission we propose a new subcarrier backoff scheme and use the Markov chain model to analyze this *** this protocol,we analyze the performance of the downlink and the uplink operation in the OFDMA *** analytical results are well matched to the simulation *** then extend our model to a star-mesh topology with multiple overlapped *** results show that the performance can be improved with the application of the superior capability of our proposed MAC protocol to deal with collisions in the overlapped regions.
