CeO_(2) with excellent oxygen storage-exchange capacity and NiO with excellent surface activity were used to construct a heterogeneous NiO-CeO_(2)−δhollow multi-shelled structure(HoMS)by spray *** turned out that as the proportion of CeO_(2) increases,the overpotential and Tafel slope of NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs first decreased and then *** is mainly because the construction of the NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs not only increases the specific surface area,but also introduces oxygen vacancy defects,thus improving the interface charge transfer capability of the materials and further improving the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)***,the increase of the calcination temperature will induce the decay of the OER performance of NiO-CeO_(2)−δHoMSs,which is mainly due to the decrease of the specific surface area,the reduction of oxygen vacancy defects,and the weakening of interface charge transfer ***,a series of heterogeneous composite HoMSs,such as Ni/Co,Mo/Ni,Al/Ni and Fe/Ni oxides was successfully constructed by spray drying,which enriched the diversity of HoMSs.

Lorentz force velocimetry（LFV） is a suitable non-contact technique to measure flow velocity and flowrates in electrically conducting high-temperature *** is based on the principles of magnetohydrodynamics:when an electrically conducting fluid passes the field lines produced by a magnet system,eddy currents are induced within the *** interactions of the eddy currents with the magnetic field generate Lorentz *** LFV the counterforce acting on the magnet system is *** a flowmeter consists of a permanent magnet system and an attached digital force *** force recorded by the flowmeter is proportional to the flowrate Q and depends on both the electrical conductivity a of the fluid and the spatial distribution of the applied magnet field ***,in metallurgical applications,σ is often unknown or fluctuates in time as it strongly depends on both temperature and composition of the *** the present paper we investigate a technique called Time-of-Flight Lorentz force velocimetry ToF *** this technique,the flowrate can be determined by just cross-correlating the two force signals recorded by two flowmeters which are arranged one behind the other separated by a certain distance *** the passage of the triggered vortices,this ToF LFV measures the transit time t of these *** we recalculate the velocity V according to the relation V=D/τ.We experimentally and numerically study turbulent liquid metal flow in the test facility EFCO（electromagnetic flow control channel） using the eutectic alloy GaInSn as a test *** experiments show that this electromagnetic ToF LFV is well suited to determine the flow velocity and *** experiments are accompanied by numerical simulations using the commercial program package FLUENT.

Transparent photoresists with a high refractive index(RI)and high transmittance in visible wavelengths have promising functionalities in optical *** work reports a kind of tunable optical material composed of titanium dioxide nanoparticles embedded in acrylic resin with a high RI for ultraviolet(UV)-imprint *** hybrid film exhibits a tunable RI of up to 1.67(589 nm)after being cured by UV light,while maintaining both a high transparency of over 98%in the visible light range and a low haze of less than 0.05%.The precision machining of optical microstructures can be imprinted easily and efficiently using the hybrid resin,which acts as a light guide plate(LGP)to guide the light from the side to the top in order to conserve the energy of the display *** preliminary studies based on both laboratory and commercial experiments pave the way for exploiting the unparalleled optical properties of nanocomposite resins and promoting their industrial application.

BACKGROUND Islets of Langerhans beta cells diminish in autoimmune type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM).Teplizumab,a humanized anti-CD3 monoclonal antibody,may help *** long-term implications on clinical T1DM development,safety,and efficacy are *** To assess the effectiveness and safety of teplizumab as a therapeutic intervention for individuals with *** A systematic search was conducted using four electronic databases(PubMed,Embase,Scopus,and Cochrane Library)to select publications published in peerreviewed journals written in *** odds ratio(OR)and risk ratio(RR)were calculated,along with their 95%*** assessed heterogeneity using Cochrane Q and I2 statistics and the appropriate P *** There were 8 randomized controlled trials(RCTs)in the current meta-analysis with a total of 1908 T1DM patients from diverse age cohorts,with 1361 patients receiving Teplizumab and 547 patients receiving a *** was found to have a substantial link with a decrease in insulin consumption,with an OR of 4.13(95%CI:1.72 to 9.90).Teplizumab is associated with an improved Cpeptide response(OR 2.49;95%CI:1.62 to 3.81)and a significant change in Glycated haemoglobin A1c(HbA1c)levels in people with type 1 diabetes[OR 1.75(95%CI:1.03 to 2.98)],and it has a RR of 0.71(95%CI:0.53 to 0.95).CONCLUSION In type 1 diabetics,teplizumab decreased insulin consumption,improved C-peptide response,and significantly changed HbA1c levels with negligible side *** appears to improve glycaemic control and diabetes management with good safety and efficacy.

Active Magnetic Bearing(AMB) is a kind of electromagnetic support that makes the rotor movement frictionless and can suppress rotor vibration by controlling the magnetic force. The most common approach to restrain the rotor vibration in AMBs is to adopt a notch filter or adaptive filter in the AMB controller. However, these methods cannot obtain the precise amplitude and phase of the compensation current. Thus, they are not so effective in terms of suppressing the vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders over the whole speed range. To improve the vibration suppression performance of AMBs,an adaptive filter based on Least Mean Square(LMS) is applied to extract the vibration signals from the rotor displacement signal. An Iterative Search Algorithm(ISA) is proposed in this paper to obtain the corresponding relationship between the compensation current and vibration signals. The ISA is responsible for searching the compensating amplitude and shifting phase online for the LMS filter, enabling the AMB controller to generate the corresponding compensation force for vibration suppression. The results of ISA are recorded to suppress vibration using the Look-Up Table(LUT) in variable speed range. Comprehensive simulations and experimental validations are carried out in fixed and variable speed range, and the results demonstrate that by employing the ISA, vibrations of the fundamental and other harmonic orders are suppressed effectively.

AIEgens can serve as an effective platform for the construction of photosensitizer-based immunogenic cell death(ICD)*** date,several mitochondria or endoplasmic reticulum(ER)-targeted aggregationinduced emission(AIE)molecules have been developed and have evoked massive ICD in ***,due to the complex physicochemical environment in cells,these small AIE molecules cannot maintain a stable aggregate state,which not only affects the fluorescence intensity of the photosensitizer but also decreases the generation of reactive oxygen species(ROS),and thus reducing the effect of the photosensitizer to elicit ***-based nanomicelles,which maintain a stable micellar structure,can prevent defects of AIE molecules in photodynamic therapy(PDT)***,in this study,a mitochondria-targeted AIE nanophotosensitizer was synthesized and used as a highly potent ICD inducer for vaccine preparation and tumor prevention.

Cu/ZnO is widely used in the hydrogenation of carbon dioxide (CO_(2)) to methanol (CH_(3)OH) to improve the lowconversion rate and selectivity generally observed. In this work, a series of In, Zr, Co, and Ni-doped CuO-ZnO catalysts wassynthesized via a hydrothermal method. By introducing a second metal element, the activity and dispersion of the activesites can be adjusted and the synergy between the metal and the carrier can be enhanced, forming an abundance of oxygenvacancies. Oxygen vacancies not only adsorb CO_(2) but also activate the intermediates in methanol synthesis, playing a keyrole in the entire reaction. Co3O4-CuO-ZnO had the best catalytic performance (a CO_(2) conversion rate of 9.17%;a CH_(3)OHselectivity of 92.77%). This study describes a typical strategy for multi-component doping to construct a catalyst with anabundance of oxygen vacancies, allowing more effective catalysis to synthesize CH_(3)OH from CO_(2).

A series of model catalysts were obtained by treating commercial fresh and spent catalysts unloaded from the factory with different methods, including green oil dipping, extraction and high-temperature regeneration;finally, the deactivation behavior of the commercial catalyst for acetylene hydrogenation were studied. The influence of various possible deactivation factors on the catalytic performance was elucidated via detailed structural characterization, surface composition analysis, and activity *** results showed that green oil, carbon deposit and sintering of active metal were the main reasons for deactivation, among which green oil and carbon deposit led to rapid deactivation, while the activity could be recovered after regeneration by high-temperature calcination. The sintering of active metal components was attributed to the high-temperature regeneration in hydrothermal conditions, which was slow but irreversible and accounted for permanent deactivation. Thus, optimizing the regeneration is expected to extend the service life of the commercial catalyst.
