Although biotic and abiotic factors have been confirmed to be critical factors that affect community dynamics,their interactive effects have yet to be fully considered in grassland ***,we tested how soil nutrients and microbes regulated plant-soil feedback(PSF)in a degraded alpine *** results indicated that soil total carbon(STC;from 17.66 to 12.55 g/kg)and total nitrogen(STN;from 3.16 to 2.74 g/kg)exhibited significant(Pgraded(ND)to severely degraded(SD).Despite higher nutrients in ND soil generating significantly(P2)on monocots growth when the soil was sterilized,a high proportion of pathogens(36%)in ND non-sterilized soil resulted in a strong negative PSF on *** contrast,the higher phenotypic plasticity of dicots coupled with a higher abundance of mutualists and saprophytes(70%)strongly promoted their survival and growth in SD with infertile *** findings identified a novel mechanism that there was a functional group shift from monocots with higher vulnerability to soil pathogens in the ND fertile soil to dicots with higher dependence on nutritional mutualists in the degraded infertile *** emerging irreversible eco-evolutionary in PSF after degradation might cause a predicament for the restoration of degraded grassland.

Adopting the classical theory of hydrocodes,the constitutive relations of concretes are separated into an equation of state(EoS)which describes the volumetric behavior of concrete material and a strength model which depicts the shear properties of *** experiments on the EoS of concrete is always challenging due to the technical difficulties and equipment limitations,especially for the specimen size effect on the *** some researchers investigate the shock properties of concretes by fly-plate impact tests,the specimens used in their tests are usually in one *** this paper,the fly-plate impact tests on concrete specimens with different sizes are performed to investigate the size effect on the shock properties of concrete *** mechanical background of the size effect on the shock properties are revealed,which is related to the lateral rarefaction effect and the deviatoric stress produced in the *** to the tests results,the modified EoS considering the size effect on the shock properties of concrete are proposed,which the bulk modulus of concrete is unpredicted by up to 20% if size effects are not accounted for.

In this editorial we comment on the article by Li published in the recent issue of the World Journal of *** focus specifically on the application of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)and microsatellite instability(MSI)in gastric cancer(gC).The four pillars of gC management have long been considered,including surgery,chemotherapy,radiotherapy and targeted ***,immunotherapy has recently emerged as a“fifth pillar”,and its use is rapidly *** are four principal strategies for tumor immunotherapy:ICIs,tumor vaccines,adoptive immunotherapy and nonspecific *** them,ICIs are the most advanced and widespread type of cancer immunotherapy for *** breakthrough results for ICIs have paved the way to a new era of cancer *** particular,inhibition of the PD-1/PD-L1 axis with ICIs,including nivolumab and pembrolizumab,has emerged as a novel treatment strategy for advanced ***,these therapies are sometimes associated with often subtle,potentially fatal immune-related adverse events(irAEs),including dermatitis,diarrhea,colitis,endocrinopathy,hepatotoxicity,neuropathy and *** must be aware of these irAEs and improve the detection of these processes to prevent inappropriate discharges,emergency department revisits,and downstream *** studies have revealed that MSI-high or mismatch-repair-deficient tumors,regardless of their primary site,have a promising response to ***,it is important to detect MSI before applying ICIs for treatment of gC.

To restore dam-blocked natural fish migratory passages,a growing number of artificial fishways have been built in water conservancy and hydropower projects in *** Angu hydropower station involved diverse important fish habitats in the lower reaches of the Daduhe River in Southwest ***,a vertical slot fishway(VSF)and a nature-like fishway(NLF)were built near the backwater area of the reservoir to connect the upstream and downstream *** and aquatic ecological surveys were conducted after the completion of the project to estimate the fish passing effect of the two *** results indicated that both fishways were in effective operation and could maintain the desired hydrodynamic conditions and be used by several local fish *** the survey,149 fish from 15 species and 111 fish from 17 species were captured by the traps in the VSF and NLF,respectively,while 1263 fish from 27 species were found in the downstream *** species captured in the VSF were not found in the NLF,and vice versa,which implied the different preferences of ***,3789 signals including 2099 upward ones and 1690 downward ones were monitored with an ultrasonic fish detector at the inlet of the *** findings revealed the characteristics of fish species observed in and near the fishways and provided valuable insights into the different fish passing capabilities of VSFandNLF.

Network structures of various polymers have significant effects on their mechanical properties;therefore,numerous studies have investigated the constitutive relationship between symmetrical network structures and their rubber elasticity in ***,few studies have focused on asymmetrical network structures in polymers that undergo bond exchange reactions,selfassembly,or mechanochemical coupling—all of which are induced by transition probabilities of chemical bonding *** this study,an extended constraint junction and phantom network model is formulated using the tree-growing theory to establish a constitutive relationship between asymmetrical network structures and their rubber elasticity in polymers.A free-energy equation is further developed to explore working principles of configurational transitions on the dynamic rubber elasticity of symmetrical and asymmetrical network *** constitutive relationship between dynamic rubber elasticity and symmetrical and asymmetrical network structures has also been proposed for the gels undergoing mechanochemical and hydromechanical ***,the effectiveness of this newly proposed tree-growing model has been verified by comparing with the classical affine network model,finite element analysis,and the experimental results of gels reported in literature.

The work focuses on the utilization of the conventional solid-state sintering procedure to synthesize white phosphors Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):xDy^(3+)(0.02≤x≤0.12).Utilizing X-ray diffraction,the phase structure of samples was examined,and the crystal structure was refined using the Rietveld method.A scanning electron microscope was used to analyze the microstructure of ***-principles calculations confirm that the indirect bandgap of Ca_(2)InTaO_(6)is 3.786 eV,The luminous properties and energy transfer mechanism of Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):xDy^(3+)were studied using photoluminescence ***~4F_(9/2)→~6H_(13/2)transition of Dy^(3+)ions is responsible for the greatest emission peak,which was measured at 575 *** to research,the lifespan falls as the concentration of Dy^(3+)doping amount rises because of frequent interaction and ene rgy transfer between Dy^(3+)*** correlated color temperature of the WLEDs packaged with Ca_(2)InTaO_(6):0.08Dy^(3+)is 4677 K and CIE 1931 chromaticity coordinates are(0.3578,0.3831).Meantime,the phosphor also shows outstanding te mperature stability property,which maintains 83.8%of its initial emission intensity at 450 K(activation energy of 0.1467 eV).The W-LEDs retain their performance for 100 min when powered at 3.4 V voltage and 600 mA current,demonstrating the packed W-LEDs'sustaine d operation at high temperatures.

given the increasing number of diabetic patients,rapid and accurate detection of glucose in body fluids is *** study developed a direct electrochemical biosensor for glucose based on nitrogen-doped carbon nanocages(NCNCs).NCNCs possess a large specific surface area of 1395 m^(2)·g^(-1),a high N atomic content of 9.37%and good biocompatibility,which is favorable for enzyme loading and electron *** surface average concentration of electroactive glucose oxidase on NCNCs was 2.82×10^(-10)mol·cm^(-2).The NCNC-based direct electrochemical biosensor exhibited a high sensitivity of 13.7μA·(mmol·L^(-1))^(-1)·cm^(-2),rapid response time of 5 s and an impressive electron-transferrate constant(ks)of 1.87 s^(-1).Furthermore,we investigated an NCNC-based direct electron transfer(DET)biosensor for sweat glucose detection,which demonstrated tremendous promise for non-invasive wearable diabetes diagnosis.

In order to suppress the low-frequency ultrasound vibration in the broadband range of 20 k Hz—100 k Hz,this paper proposes and discusses an acoustic metamaterial with low-frequency ultrasound vibration attenuation properties,which is configured by hybrid arc and sharp-angle convergent star-shaped *** effect of the dispersion relation and the bandgap characteristic for the scatterers in star-shaped are simulated and *** target bandgap width is extended by optimizing the geometry parameters of arc and sharp-angle convergent *** proposed metamaterial configured by optimized hybrid lattices exhibits remarkable broad bandgap characteristics by bandgap complementarity,and the simulation results verify a 99%vibration attenuation amplitude can be obtained in the frequency of20 k Hz—100 k *** the fabrication of the proposed hybrid configurational star-shaped metamaterial by 3D printing technique,the transmission loss experiments are performed,and the experimental results indicate that the fabricated metamaterial has the characteristics of broadband vibration attenuation and an amplitude greater than 85%attenuation for the target *** results demonstrate that the hybrid configurational star-shaped metamaterials can effectively widen the bandgap and realize high efficiency attenuation,which has capability for the vibration attenuation in the application of highprecise equipment.
