Insight into the Role and Evidence of Oxygen Vacancies in Porous Single-Crystalline Oxide to Enhance Catalytic Activity and Durability

Introducing and stabilizing oxygen vacancies in oxide catalysts is considered to be a promising strategy for improving catalytic activity and ***,we quantitatively create oxygen vacancies in the lattice of porous single-crystallineβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)monoliths by reduction treatments and stabilize them through the long-range ordering of crystal lattice to enhance catalytic activity and *** combination analysis of time-of-flight neutron powder diffraction and extended x-ray absorption fine structure discloses that the preferential generation of oxygen vacancy tends to occur at the site of tetrahedral coordination oxygen ions(O_(Ⅲ)sites),which contributes to the formation of unsaturated Ga-O coordination in the monoclinic *** oxygen vacancies are randomly distributed in lattice even though some of them are present in the form of domain defect in the PSC Ga_(2)O_(3)monoliths after the reduction *** number of oxygen vacancies in the reduced monoliths gives 2.32×10^(13),2.87×10^(13),and 3.45×10^(13)mg^(-1)for the Ga_(2)O_(2.952),Ga_(2)O_(2.895),and Ga_(2)O_(2.880),*** therefore demonstrate the exceptionally high C_(2)H_(4)selectivity of~100%at the C_(2)H_(6)conversion of~37%for nonoxidative dehydrogenation of C_(2)H_(6)to C_(2)H_(4).We further demonstrate the excellent durability even at 620℃for 240 h of continuous operation.

Numerical investigation on characteristics of interfacial wave of liquid film in gas-liquid two-phase flow using OpenFOAM

Liquid film cooling as an advanced cooling technology is widely used in space *** operation of liquid film along the rocket combustion inner wall is crucial for thermal protection of rocket *** stability of liquid film is mainly determined by the characteristics of interfacial wave,which is rarely investigated right *** to improve the stability of thin film has become a hot *** view of this,an advanced model based on the conventional Volume of Fluid(VOF)model is adopted to investigate the characteristics of interfacial wave in gas-liquid flow by using OpenFOAM,and the mechanism of formation and development of wave is revealed intuitively through numerical *** effects from gas velocity,surface tension and dynamic viscosity of liquid(three factors)on the wave are studied *** can be found that the gas velocity is critical to the formation and development of wave,and four modes of droplets generation are illustrated in this ***,a gas vortex near the gas-liquid interface can induce formation of wave easily,so changing the gas vortex state can regulate formation and development of ***’s more,the change rules of three factors influencing on the interfacial wave are obtained,and the surface tension has a negative effect on the formation and development of wave only when the surface tension coefficient is above the critical value,whereas the dynamic viscosity has a positive effect in this ***,the maximum height and maximum slope angle of wave will level off as the gas velocity ***,the maximum slope angle of wave is usually no more than 38°,no matter what happens to the three factors.

Integrated Frequency-constrained Scheduling Considering Coordination of Frequency Regulation Capabilities from Multi-source Converters

As the proportion of renewable energy(RE)increases,the inertia and the primary frequency regulation(FR)capability of the power system ***,ensuring frequency security in the scheduling model has become a new technical requirement in power systems with a high share of *** to a shortage of conventional synchronous generators,the frequency support of multi-source converters has become an indispensable part of the system frequency resources,especially variable-speed wind turbine generation(WTG)and battery energy storage(BES).Quantitative expression of the FR capability of multi-source converters is necessary to construct frequency-constrained scheduling ***,the frequency support performance of these converter-interfaced devices is related to their working states,operation modes,and parameters,and the complex coupling of these factors has not been fully exploited in existing *** this study,we propose an integrated frequency-constrained scheduling model considering the coordination of FR capabilities from multi-source *** FR control strategies and variable FR parameters for WTG with or without reserved power are modeled,and multi-target allocation of BES capacity between tracking dispatch instruction and emergency FR is ***,the variable FR capabilities of WTG and BES are embedded into the integrated frequency-constrained scheduling *** nonlinear constraints for frequency security are precisely linearized through an improved iteration-based *** effectiveness of the proposed model is verified in a modified IEEE 24-bus standard *** results suggest that the coordinated participation of BES and WTG in FR can effectively reduce the cost of the scheduling model while meeting frequency security constraints.

输导体系作为纽带连接着烃源岩和圈闭,对其进行刻画,一方面可以确定油气运移路径,另一方面可以准确定位油气藏的位置,重要性不言而喻。本文在介绍输导体系基础的概念、特征和分类的前提下,还对优势运移通道的确定、输导能力定量判断方法以及所起的控藏作用进行了详细分析。总结了输导体系的研究方法与存在需要解决的问题,研究方法分别从地质分析、物理模拟和数值模拟三方面进行论述,对于未来的发展提出应该使所用参数与所处时期相对应,加强对输导效率的研究,重视三维动态的展示,以及与多个学科联动结合发展。

NH_(4)Cl-assisted synthesis of TaON nanoparticle applied to photocatalytic hydrogen and oxygen evolution from water

Oxynitride semiconductors are promising photocatalyst materials for visible light-driven water splitting,while the synthesis of well crystalized oxynitride still remains *** present work,narrow-bandgap TaON nanoparticles are synthesized via heating a vacuum-sealed mixture of KTaO_(3),Ta and NH_(4)*** method possesses multiple advantages in terms of lower calcination parameter,higher N conversion efficiency and superior photocatalytic activity in comparison with the traditional thermal ammonolysis using NH_(3) gas as a nitrogen *** the analysis of intermediates produced upon the elevation of heating temperature,a gas-solid-phase reaction between TaCl_(5) and Ta_(2)O_(5) is demonstrated as the final step,which is conducive to decreasing thermal energy barrier and accelerating nitridation *** control of preparation conditions,including calcination temperature and duration,allows for the regulation of surface O/N ratio of TaON particles to unity,resulting in optimized photocat-alytic *** assessment and intensity modulated photocurrent spectroscopy provide convincing evidence for improved charge transfer effciency of photoexcited holes at TaON surface.A Z-scheme overall water splitting is accomplished by employing the TaON as an effective oxygen evolution photocatalyst,SrTiO_(3):Rh as a hydrogen evolution photocatalyst,and reduced graphene oxide(rGO)as a solid-state electron *** work presents a promising strategy for the synthesis of high-quality oxynitride materials in application to photocatalytic water splitting.

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and hybrid capacitors(SIHCs) have garnered significant attention in energy storage due to their inherent advantages,including high energy density,cost-effectiveness,and enhanced ***,developing high-performance anode materials to improve sodium storage performa nce still remains a major ***,a facile one-pot method has been developed to fabricate a hybrid of MoSeTe nanosheets implanted within the N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton(MoSeTe/N,F@C).Experimental results demonstrate that the incorporation of large-sized Te atoms into MoSeTe nanosheets enlarges the layer spacing and creates abundant anion vacancies,which effectively facilitate the insertion/extraction of Na^(+) and provide numerous ion adsorption sites for rapid surface capacitive ***,the heteroatoms N,F co-doped honeycomb carbon skeleton with a highly conductive network can restrain the volume expansion and boost reaction kinetics within the *** anticipated,the MoSeTe/N,F@C anode exhibits high reversible capacities along with exceptional cycle *** coupled with Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)@C(NVPF@C) to form SIB full cells,the anode delivers a reversible specific capacity of 126 ma h g^(-1) after 100 cycles at 0.1 A g^(-1).Furthermore,when combined with AC to form SIHC full cells,the anode demonstrates excellent cycling stability with a reversible specific capacity of50 ma h g^(-1) keeping over 3700 cycles at 1.0 A g^(-1).In situ XRD,ex situ TEM characterization,and theoretical calculations(DFT) further confirm the reversibility of sodium storage in MoSeTe/N,F@C anode materials during electrochemical reactions,highlighting their potential for widespread practical *** work provides new insights into the promising utilization of advanced transition metal dichalcogenides as anode materials for Na^(+)-based energy storage devices.

Impact of sedimentary environmental evolution on organic matter enrichment in Upper Paleozoic marine–continental transitional shales in the Shenfu Block， eastern Ordos Basin， China: evidence from geochemistry

The shale gas exploration of marine-continental transitional facies has gained great attention in China， which is viewed as another breakthrough following the marine shale gas prior to continental shale gas. The Upper Paleozoic marine-continental transitional shales have high TOC abundance with large total thickness in the eastern Ordos Basin， progressively becoming a favorable area for exploration of transitional shale gas. Nevertheless， compared with the relatively homogeneous marine shales， the marine-continental transitional shales demonstrated strong anisotropy in the aspects of thickness， lithology and organic matter (OM). Thus， in this paper， based on the trace element and rock-eval data， we investigated the sedimentary facies， provenance， paleoclimate， paleobathymetry， and redox condition， as well as their controls on the enrichment of organic matter in the Shenfu Block， eastern Ordos basin. The results of trace element experiments indicate that the paleoenvironment of the Ordos Basin underwent a transition from a marine to a continental environment， evolving from the Benxi Formation of the Carboniferous system to the Upper Shihezi Formation of the Permian system. The provenance area is characterised by the presence of high iron and high magnesium feldspar， with a medium degree of weathering. The paleoclimate experienced alternating periods of dry heat， relatively warm wet conditions， and dry heat. The paleowater depth decreased along the sedimentary profile. With regard to the REDOX environment index， the Taiyuan Formation is the stratum exhibiting the highest degree of reduction. The detection criteria for biomarkers were found to be consistent with the inorganic geochemical characteristics. The relationship between various trace elements and TOC indicates that redox conditions are the primary factors influencing the accumulation of organic matter in transitional shale. EuCd_(2)As_(2)was theoretically predicted to be a minimal model of Weyl semimetals with a single pair of Weyl points in the ferromagnet ***,the heavily p-doped Eu Cd_(2)As_(2)crystals in previous experiments prevent direct identification of the semimetal ***,we present a comprehensive magneto-transport study of high-quality Eu Cd_(2)As_(2)crystals with ultralow bulk carrier density(10^(13)cm^(-3)).In contrast to the general expectation of a Weyl semimetal phase,Eu Cd_(2)As_(2)shows insulating behavior in both antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic states as well as surface-dominated conduction from band ***,the application of a dc bias current can dramatically modulate the resistance by over one order of magnitude,and induce a periodic resistance oscillation due to the geometric *** nonlinear transport results from the high nonequilibrium state induced by an electrical field near the band *** results suggest an insulating phase in Eu Cd_(2)As_(2)and put a strong constraint on the underlying mechanism of anomalous transport properties in this system.

Enhanced recovery of high-purity Fe powder from iron-rich electrolytic manganese residue by slurry electrolysis

Iron-rich electrolytic manganese residue(IREMR)is an industrial waste produced during the processing of electrolytic metal manganese,and it contains certain amounts of Fe and Mn resources and other heavy *** this study,the slurry electrolysis technique was used to recover high-purity Fe powder from *** effects of IREMR and H2SO4 mass ratio,current density,reaction temper-ature,and electrolytic time on the leaching and current efficiencies of Fe were *** to the results,high-purity Fe powder can be recovered from the cathode plate,and the slurry electrolyte can be *** leaching efficiency,current efficiency,and purity of Fe reached 92.58%,80.65%,and 98.72wt%,respectively,at a 1:2.5 mass ratio of H2SO4 and IREMR,reaction temperature of 60℃,electric current density of 30 ma/cm^(2),and reaction time of 8 *** addition,vibrating sample magnetometer(VSM)analysis showed that the coercivity of electrolytic iron powder was 54.5 A/m,which reached the advanced magnetic grade of electrical pure-iron powder(DT4A coercivity standard).The slurry electrolytic method provides fundamental support for the industrial application of Fe resource recovery in IRMER.
