Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and polychlorinated dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs)have attracted widespread concern due to their high toxicity,and their difficult manipulation in laboratories has made the research process tough.Thus,in our work,furan is selected as the model compound owing to the same structure of a central oxygenate ring.Although catalytic oxidation is regarded as an effective and applicable method for the abatement of PCDD/Fs,the synthesis of low-temperature catalysts is still a challenging problem in practical applications.Considering this situation,we prepared a novel V_(2)O_(5)/TiO_(2)catalyst modified with N-doped hierarchical porous carbon(NHPC)via a wet impregnation method.The V/T-1%NHPC catalyst could achieve expectant low-temperature performances with 50%furan conversion at 150℃and a complete conversion at 200℃,which decreased 23℃and 40℃compared to the V/T catalyst respectively.Moreover,the addition of NHPC presented lifting chemical stability during long-time test.The addition of NHPC in V/T catalysts decreased the formation of crystalline V_(2)O_(5) and increased the percentages of V^(5+)and O_(lat),which improved the utilization of vanadium ions and the catalytic activity.Simultaneously,the higher binding energy shift of O_(lat) implied more reaction possibility with other oxidise reactants.Importantly,this work proved the lifting catalytic activity by the interaction between catalysts and NHPC,and proposed the promoting effects of the N element.The results showed that the content of the pyridinic N and graphitic N in NHPC changed after combining with V/T catalyst,which played crucial roles in the excellent catalytic performance.Overall,this work provides comprehensive research of the V/T-1%NHPC catalyst toward furan oxidation at low temperature and explain the effects of N-doped biomass carbon in catalytic activity clearly,which gave a new thought to design low-temperature catalysts in PCDD/Fs degradation.Besides,the internal functional mechanisms of N species are worth further exploratio

The treatment of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC)remains a challenge due to tumor evolution during anti-angiogenesis therapies,in which the mechanism of vascular mimicry(VM)is believed to result in ineffective treatment[1].To conquer this challenge,substantial effort has recently been devoted to seeking out natural compounds on account of their multitarget actions.As a traditional herbal medicine,platycodin D(PD)is the major bioactive monomer derived from Platycodon grandiflorum(P.grandiflorum)and is used as an expectorant for pulmonary disease in Asia[2].

Inertinite in coal and its geoenvironmental significance:Insights from AI and big data analysis

Inertinite,as an important and abundant maceral group in coal,is critical for the study of palaeowildfires and their roles in the Earth’s ecosystems.Recently,there has been a significant amount of research on the relationship between palaeowildfire,palaeoclimate change and palaeovegetation evolution based on inertinite data.The reflectance of fusinite and semifusinite has been used to estimate the combustion temperature and type of palaeowildfires,and then to evaluate the combustion characteristics of different types of palaeowildfires.The relative abundance of inertinite can be used to estimate the atmospheric oxygen contents.The rapid development of artificial intelligence(AI)and online tools to search scientific databases has presented an opportunity for us to find,collect,arrange,and analyse data from the earliest to latest publications on inertinite.The data extraction tool Deep Shovel is used to collect and analyse global inertinite data from the Silurian to the Neogene.The software programs such as Gplates,ArcGIS pro and Tableau are then applied to model the relative abundance of inertinite over geological time,which can be correlated with other parameters such as atmospheric oxygen contents,plant evolution and palaeoclimate changes.The distribution of inertinite in coals varied over different geological periods,being typified by the“high inertinite content-high atmospheric oxygen level”period in the Permian and the“low inertinite content-low atmospheric oxygen level”period in the Cenozoic.This study has proposed a possible model of the positive and negative feedbacks between inertinite characteristics and palaeoenvironmental factors,and has revealed the exceptional role of inertinite in palaeoenvironmental studies.Future research on inertinite will be focused on the integrated study of organic petrology and organic geochemistry of inertinite,the big data-driven research on the temporal and spatial distribution of the global inertinite,the exploration of the functions of palaeowildfires in the Earth system

The asymmetric reductive arylation and alkenylation of benzylic chloride under photoredox/nickel dual catalysis using chiral bimidazoline(Bilm)ligand is reported to access 1,1-diaryl alkanes and aryl allylic compounds with good yield as well as stereo-and enantioselectivities.This protocol uses more commercially available and less expensive C(sp^(2))-Br as the electrophile coupling partner.A primary result using alkenyl chloride and alkyl chloride is also reported.Various functional groups are tolerated and the applications of this method are investigated by late-stage functionalization and gram-scale reaction.

A self-consistent and precise method to determine the time-dependent radiative albedo,i.e.,the ratio of the reemission flux to the incident flux,for an indirect-drive inertial confinement fusion Hohlraum wall material is proposed.A specially designed symmetrical triple-cavity gold Hohlraum is used to create approximately constant and near-equilibrium uniform radiation with a peak temperature of 160 eV.The incident flux at the secondary cavity waist is obtained from flux balance analysis and from the shock velocity of a standard sample.The results agree well owing to the symmetrical radiation in the secondary cavity.A self-consistent and precise time-dependent radiative albedo is deduced from the reliable reemission flux and the incident flux,and the result from the shock velocity is found to have a smaller uncertainty than that from the multi-angle flux balance analysis,and also to agree well with the result of a simulation using the HYADES opacity.

Gliding arc discharge in combination with Cu/Cu_(2)O electrocatalysis for ammonia production

Highly efficient and green ammonia production is an important demand for modern agriculture.In this study,a two-step ammonia production method is developed using a gliding arc discharge in combination with Cu/Cu_(2)O electrocatalysis.In this method,NO_(x)is provided by the gliding arc discharge and then electrolyzed by Cu/Cu_(2)O after alkaline absorption.The electrical characteristics,the optical characteristics and the NO_(x)production are investigated in discharges at different input voltage and the gas flow.The dependence of ammonia production through Cu/Cu_(2)O electrocatalysis on pH value and reduction potential are determined by colorimetric method.In our study,two discharge modes are observed.At high input voltage and low gas flow,the discharge is operated with a stable plasma channel which is called the steady arc gliding discharge mode(A-G mode).As lowering input voltage and raising gas flow,the plasma channel is destroyed and high frequency breakdown occurs instead,which is known as the breakdown gliding discharge mode(B-G mode).The optimal NO_(x)production of 7.34 mmol h^(-1)is obtained in the transition stage of the two discharge modes.The ammonia yield reaches0.402 mmol h^(-1)cm^(-2)at pH value of 12.7 and reduction potential of-1.0 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE).

为研究棒材表面螺纹牙型高度对淬冷沸腾的影响,在冷却剂受迫流动条件下,于不同过冷度下对表面具有不同螺纹牙型高度的不锈钢棒材进行淬冷沸腾可视化实验探究。根据测量所得温度数据,结合可视化图像结果,分析螺纹牙型高度与过冷度对淬冷沸腾过程中气膜演变及沸腾传热特性的影响。结果表明,随着螺纹牙型高度增加,气膜坍塌时间缩短,最小膜态沸腾温度提高,膜态沸腾时间减少,临界热流密度增加,过渡与核态沸腾阶段换热性能有所提升;随着过冷度增加,棒材表面冷却速率加快,最小膜态沸腾温度升高,淬冷沸腾时间缩短,但过冷度的增加使得螺纹表面形貌对膜态沸腾时间的影响相对减弱。最终,将实验所得最小膜态沸腾温度与文献拟合经验公式计算结果进行对比,验证了实验的可靠性。

为探究两次发酵技术对泡辣椒品质的影响,以两次发酵遵义特色泡辣椒为研究对象,通过测定分析其脆度、色泽、氨基酸态氮、游离氨基酸差异,并采用味道强度值(taste activity value,TAV)、主成分分析(principal component analysis,PCA)进行综合评价,明确泡辣椒中游离氨基酸的含量、组成与呈味的多样性。结果表明:4种泡辣椒(新鲜、传统自然一次发酵30 d、两次发酵、传统自然一次发酵150 d)中氨基酸态氮含量分别为0.05、0.17、0.24、0.18 g/100 g,两次发酵特色泡辣椒的氨基酸态氮含量最高,且脆度保持较好,色泽鲜红。在4个样品中分别检测出13、15、16、15种氨基酸,呈味特性表现为鲜味氨基酸>甜味氨基酸>苦味氨基酸,其中谷氨酸对泡辣椒风味的影响最大,TAV值为9.67~45.67。通过主成分分析提取3个主成分,累积方差贡献率高达98.584%,能较好地反映出样品中游离氨基酸的综合信息,其中谷氨酸、苏氨酸、缬氨酸、甲硫氨酸、异亮氨酸、组氨酸、精氨酸、甘氨酸、半胱氨酸、亮氨酸、酪氨酸对泡辣椒滋味影响程度最大,并由各个主成分的综合得分得到遵义特色泡辣椒综合得分最高。综合评价发现两次发酵遵义特色泡辣椒相较于新鲜与传统自然一次发酵泡辣椒中游离氨基酸的综合品质更好,此为泡辣椒发酵技术的改进及泡辣椒风味的人工控制提供理论基础。

为更加准确地识别在役人行桥结构的时变模态参数,提出了一种基于联合方法的人行桥瞬时频率和时变阻尼比识别方法。首先,采用联合方法分别识别模态分量信号的瞬时频率和自由衰减振动信号的时频系数。然后,通过推导瞬时频率、时频系数模值和阻尼比三者之间的函数关系,估算获得人-桥耦合系统的时变阻尼比。最后,通过人-桥耦合数值算例和华威桥步行试验对联合方法进行了验证。结果表明:联合方法可以有效改善多种复杂因素下自由衰减振动信号提取结果不准确的问题,并且该方法识别的瞬时频率和时变阻尼比曲线可以清晰地表征行人空间位置变化对钢-混组合人行桥频率和阻尼比的变化趋势。

Adaptation strategies of juvenile grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella)facing different dissolved oxygen concentrations in a recirculating aquaculture system

Fishes exposed to different dissolved oxygen concentrations over prolonged time periods have different susceptibility and adaptation mechanisms.In this study,healthy grass carp with an average weight of 214.6±18.7 g were selected for long-term culture in recirculating aquaculture systems at three different dissolved oxygen concentrations,i.e.,3.00 mg/L[(2.57±0.33)mg/L,DO_(2.57)),5.00 mg/L[(4.61±0.11)mg/L,DO_(4.61)],which was the control group,and 7.00 mg/L[(6.50±0.48)mg/L,DO_(6.50)].Blood,gill,muscle,and liver samples were collected after 60 days.Using hematoxylin-eosin(HE),alcian blue periodic acid Schiff(AB-PAS)staining,determination of respiratory metabolism enzyme activity,and fluorescent quantitative PCR,the adaptability of juvenile grass carp facing different dissolved oxygen levels were explored.The results showed that the respiration rate increased,and hemoconcentration and hemoglobin(Hb),electrolyte and pH changed at DO2.57.Furthermore,gill lamellae became thinner and longer,the distance between them increased,the mucus on them decreased and the interstitial cell mass decreased.In addition,the relative expression of apoptosis-related genes bcl-2 and bcl-xl in gill tissue decreased,while caspase-3 and bax increased.In muscles and liver tissues,lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)activity and lactic acid content(LA)increased,pyruvate dehydrogenase(PDH)activity decreased,and genes related to the respiratory metabolic enzymes PDH-A4 and PDH-E1α also changed accordingly.The oxygen consumption rate decreased significantly(P<0.05).At DO_(6.50),the distance between gill lamellae,numbers of red blood cells(RBC)and the content of hemoglobin decreased wheras the mucus on gill lamellae increased.The activity of PDH,the expression of PDH-E1a in liver and oxygen consumption rate increased.Different dissolved oxygen concentrations affected the respiratory behavior,gill tissue structure,blood transport capacity and tissue enzyme activity of juvenile grass carp.In summary,juvenile grass carp showed different adaptation strategies
