Secure Medical Image Retrieval Based on Multi-Attention Mechanism and Triplet Deep Hashing

Medical institutions frequently utilize cloud servers for storing digital medical imaging data, aiming to lower both storage expenses and computational expenses. Nevertheless, the reliability of cloud servers as third-party providers is not always guaranteed. To safeguard against the exposure and misuse of personal privacy information, and achieve secure and efficient retrieval, a secure medical image retrieval based on a multi-attention mechanism and triplet deep hashing is proposed in this paper (abbreviated as MATDH). Specifically, this method first utilizes the contrast-limited adaptive histogram equalization method applicable to color images to enhance chest X-ray images. Next, a designed multi-attention mechanism focuses on important local features during the feature extraction stage. Moreover, a triplet loss function is utilized to learn discriminative hash codes to construct a compact and efficient triplet deep hashing. Finally, upsampling is used to restore the original resolution of the images during retrieval, thereby enabling more accurate matching. To ensure the security of medical image data, a lightweight image encryption method based on frequency domain encryption is designed to encrypt the chest X-ray images. The findings of the experiment indicate that, in comparison to various advanced image retrieval techniques, the suggested approach improves the precision of feature extraction and retrieval using the COVIDx dataset. Additionally, it offers enhanced protection for the confidentiality of medical images stored in cloud settings and demonstrates strong practicality.

为探究新时代农村人居环境治理政策的落实情况,基于马特兰德的“模糊-冲突”理论模型,构建“模糊-冲突”分析框架,从模糊性和冲突性2个维度分析农村人居环境政策执行存在的困境及成因。结果表明:基层执行农村人居环境治理政策趋向于“低模糊-高冲突”的政治性执行,在政策目标、权责分配、资源供给、价值理念4个方面的高冲突性阻滞了政策的有效执行,可通过公共利益目标的强化、权责的合理匹配、因地制宜配置资源、村民主体意识的唤醒等方式进行政策执行的优化,实现农村人居环境质量的全面提升。

Effects of pre-strain on hydrogen-induced stress corrosion cracking behavior of Q345R steel in hydrofluoric acid vapor environment

This study investigates microstructure, hydrogen diffusion properties, and stress corrosion cracking(SCC) behavior of Q345R steel subject to pre-applied strains of 1 %, 3 %, and 5 %. The relationship between microstructure and SCC susceptibility in hydrofluoric acid(HF) vapor is examined. It is found that pre-strain cannot change the microstructure of Q345R steel but increases dislocation density. The increasing SCC sensitivity of Q345R steel in HF vapor is associated with the dislocation density induced by pre-strain. With increasing pre-strain, dislocation density and reversible hydrogen trap increase, and interaction between hydrogen and dislocation accelerates hydrogen-induced SCC. In addition, irreversible hydrogen traps caused by high pre-strain can severely aggravate hydrogen-induced SCC, resulting in high SCC vulnerability.

Gut microbiota links with cognitive impairment in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: A multi-omics study

Recently, cognitive impairments(CI) and behavioral abnormalities in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) have been reported. However, the underlying mechanisms have been poorly understood. In the current study, we explored the role of gut microbiota in CI of ALS patients. We collected fecal samples from 35ALS patients and 35 healthy controls. The cognitive function of the ALS patients was evaluated using the Edinburgh Cognitive and Behavioral ALS Screen. We analyzed these samples by using 16S rRNA gene sequencing as well as both untargeted and targeted(bile acids) metabolite mapping between patients with CI and patients with normal cognition(CN). We found altered gut microbial communities and a lower ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes in the CI group, compared with the CN group. In addition, the untargeted metabolite mapping revealed that 26 and 17 metabolites significantly increased and decreased, respectively, in the CI group, compared with the CN group. These metabolites were mapped to the metabolic pathways associated with bile acids. We further found that cholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid were significantly lower in the CI group than in the CN group. In conclusion, we found that the gut microbiota and its metabolome profile differed between ALS patients with and without CI and that the altered bile acid profile in fecal samples was significantly associated with CI in ALS patients. These results need to be replicated in larger studies in the future.

Ruscogenin alleviates LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction through targeting NMMHC IIA to modulate TLR4signaling

Pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction is a hallmark of clinical pulmonary edema and contributes to the development of acute lung injury(ALI).Here we reported that ruscogenin(RUS),an effective steroidal sapogenin of Radix Ophiopogon japonicus,attenuated lipopolysaccharides(LPS)-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier disruption through mediating non-muscle myosin heavy chain IIA(NMMHC IIA)-Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)*** in vivo and in vitro experiments,we observed that RUS administration significantly ameliorated LPS-triggered pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction and ***,we identified that RUS directly targeted NMMHC IIA on its N-terminal and head domain by serial affinity chromatography,molecular docking,biolayer interferometry,and microscale thermophoresis *** of endothelial NMMHC IIA expression in vivo and in vitro abolished the protective effect of *** was also observed that NMMHC IIA was dissociated from TLR4 and then activating TLR4 downstream Src/vascular endothelial cadherin(VE-cadherin)signaling in pulmonary vascular endothelial cells after LPS treatment,which could be restored by ***,these findings provide pharmacological evidence showing that RUS attenuates LPS-induced pulmonary endothelial barrier dysfunction by inhibiting TLR4/Src/VE-cadherin pathway through targeting NMMHC IIA and mediating NMMHC IIA-TLR4 interactions.

Selective deletion of zinc transporter 3 in amacrine cells promotes retinal ganglion cell survival and optic nerve regeneration after injury

本文对2015年10月4日发生于广东佛山地区台风“彩虹”登陆后螺旋云带中的一次强龙卷风过程进行高分辨率(148m,48m)数值模拟,结果产生了类龙卷涡旋(Tornado-LikeVortex,TLV),最接近观测到的龙卷风,并对龙卷超级单体及产生龙卷的TLV系统的三维动热力精细化结构进行诊断分析.结果表明,此次龙卷产生于超级单体右侧边缘,钩状回波显著,伴有明显的中气旋活动.模拟的龙卷超级单体与之前观测研究和理想化建模的龙卷超级单体结构相类似,超级单体后部云墙之下低层水成物呈现狭窄的触地漏斗状结构,对应低层的TLV系统;TLV具有中心气流下沉和周围气流上升的动力结构,对应上宽下窄的强烈涡管.与之前的研究相比,本次台风螺旋云带中的超级单体中后部入流较弱,出流较强,其前部气流上升存在水合物聚集.相对螺旋度(StormRelativeHelicity,SRH)的分析表明,超级单体的发展伴随正负SRH的增大,龙卷发生在SRH正负高值区的交界处.
