The impact of the COVID-19 prevention and economic interventions on express delivery industry:Evidence from China

As a fundamental logistics service,the express delivery(ED)industry provides production and consumption activities to maintain efficient supply chain *** plays an important role in promoting industrial development and maintaining daily life and *** study examined the effects of COVID-19 on the ED industry using ED package delivery data from 3. provinces(autonomous regions and municipalities)in *** a difference-in-differences method,the COVID-19 outbreak was found to have a positive effect and epidemic prevention and control(EPC)policies were found to have negative effects on the development of the ED *** addition to EPC policies,the Chinese government has implemented other short-term economic interventions(SEI),such as the resumption of work and production(RWP),policies to balance economic growth,and epidemic *** study divided the pandemic period into three stages to analyze the different impacts of EPC and SEI policy changes on the ED *** RWP policies adopted during the pandemic positively impacted the volume and income of packages delivered to the ED *** conclusions of this study are significant for the ED industry in addressing public health emergencies and for the Chinese government to formulate EPC and SEI policies during epidemic periods.

The solvolysis of ammonia borane(AB)and the hydrogenation of nitroarenes represent significant reactions for hydrogen generation and value-added chemical *** strategic engineering of the catalysts is imperative for surmounting obstacles associated with their stability and catalytic *** this work,subnanometric bimetallic Pt–Pd clusters were encapsulated within silicalite-1(S-1)zeolites through a ligand-protected in-situ hydrothermal synthesis *** synergetic effect of bimetallic composition and zeolite confinement markedly enhances the catalytic performance of representative Pt_(0.5)Pd_(0.5)@S-1-H catalyst,affording exceptional turnover frequency(TOF)values of 1,043.and 573.mol_(H_(2))mol_(metal)^(-1)min^(-1)for AB hydrolysis and methanolysis at ambient conditions,respectively,surpassing most of the state-of-the-art Pt-based *** and isotopic experiments reveal that the bimetallic catalytic system remarkably boosts the O-H cleavage of water,thereby facilitating the H_(2) production from AB ***,a conspicuous synergistic effect is demonstrated in the shape-selective tandem hydrogenation of nitroarenes,with the bimetallic catalyst facilitating both AB hydrolysis and nitroarene hydrogenation,giving a high TOF value of 1,260 h^(-1)under atmospheric *** study not only demonstrates the effectiveness of bimetallic nanocatalysts encapsulated in zeolites for hydrogen production from chemical hydrogen storage materials,but also paves the way for the design of catalysts with multifunctional active sites capable of synergistically promoting tandem catalytic processes.

Biomass absorbing materials have received increasing attention for electromagnetic wave(EMW)absorption field absorbing materials due to its low density and high dielectric ***,the biomass EMW absorbing materials often suffer from the insufficient magnetic loss and impedance *** this work,a facile ZIF-8/ZIF-67-derived biomass composites(CoZnO@BPC)was prepared for high-performance EMW absorption based on multi-component micro,nano structures metal particles and xanthoce sorbifolia bunge shells-derived biomass porous carbon(BPC).The dielectric loss and/or magnetic loss abilities of CoZnO@BPC composites were adjusted by changing the mass ratio of Zn^(2+)to Co^(2+)*** the filled amount of 20 wt%,Co Zn O@BPC exhibited excellent EMW absorption with the minimum reflection loss(RL)at 15.84 GHz is-50.2 dB,and the matching thickness is only 1.7 *** adjusting the ZIFs mass ratio,the effective absorption bandwidth(EAB)can be up to 5.92 GHz(from 12.08 GHz to 18 GHz),and the matching thickness is only 1.9 *** results provide a new insight for the economical and efficient preparation of lightweight and advanced microwave absorbing materials.

Organic matter-induced mineralization is a green and versatile method for synthesizing hybrid nanostructured materials,where the material properties are mainly influenced by the species of natural biomolecules,linear synthetic polymer,or small molecules,limiting their ***,we adopted dendrimer poly(amidoamine)(PAMAM)as the inducer to synthesize organosilica-PAMAM network(OSPN)capsules for mannose isomerase(MIase)encapsulation based on a hard-templating *** structure of OSPN capsules can be precisely regulated by adjusting the molecular weight and concentration of PAMAM,thereby demonstrating a substantial impact on the kinetic behavior of the MIase@OSPN *** MIase@OSPN system was used for catalytic production of mannose from Dfructose.A mannose yield of 22.24% was obtained,which is higher than that of MIase in organosilica network capsules and similar to that of the free *** overall catalytic efficiency(kcat/Km)of the MIase@OSPN system for the substrate D-fructose was up to 0.556 s^(-1)·mmol^(-1)·***,the MIase@OSPN system showed excellent stability and recyclability,maintaining more than 50% of the yield even after 12 cycles.

Environmental,economic and exergy analysis of separation of ternary azeotrope by variable pressure extractive distillation based on multi-objective optimization

In this work,the ternary azeotrope of tert-butyl alcohol/ethyl acetate/water is separated by extractive distillation(ED)to recover the available constituents and protect the *** on the conductor like shielding model and relative volatility method,ethylene glycol was selected as the extractant in the separation *** addition,in view of the characteristic that the relative volatility between components changes with pressure,the multi-objective optimization method based on nondominated sorting genetic algorithm II optimizes the pressure and the amount of solvent cooperatively to avoid falling into the optimal local *** on the optimal process parameters,the proposed heat-integrated process can reduce the gas emissions by 29.3.%.The heat-integrated ED,further coupled with the pervaporation process,can reduce gas emission by 42.3.%and has the highest exergy efficiency of 47.56%.In addition,based on the heat-integrated process,the proposed two heat pump assisted heat-integrated ED processes show good economic and environmental *** double heat pump assisted heat-integrated ED can reduce the total annual cost by 28.78%and the gas emissions by 55.83.compared with the basis process,which has a good application *** work provides a feasible approach for the separation of ternary azeotropes.

Color fading caused by a decrease in anthocyanin accumulation during the post-flowering stage significantly affects postharvest quality of ***,the underlying mechanism by which anthocyanin accumulation decreases during the post-flowering stage still unclear,which greatly restricts design of molecular breeding in ***,a chrysanthemum SG7 R2R3.MYB transcription factor(TF),CmMYB3.like,was identified to have a function in regulating anthocyanin biosynthesis during the post-flowering *** real time PCR(qRT-PCR)assays showed that the expression of CmMYB3.like was gradually downregulated when anthocyanin content increased during the flowering stage and was significantly upregulated during the post-flowering *** transformation of chrysanthemum and dual-luciferase assays in *** leaves showed that CmMYB3.like suppressed anthocyanin accumulation by inhibiting the transcription of CmCHS and CmANS directly and that of CmF3. ***,overexpression or suppression of CmMYB3.like did not affect the biosynthesis of flavones or *** transformation of chrysanthemum revealed that the overexpression of CmMYB3.like inhibited anthocyanin accumulation,but its suppression prevented the decrease in anthocyanin accumulation during the post-flowering *** results revealed a crucial role of CmMYB3.like in regulating the color of petals during the post-flowering stage and provided a target gene for molecular design breeding to improve the postharvest quality of chrysanthemum.

Reprogrammable metasurfaces,which establish a fascinating bridge between physical and information domains,can dynamically control electromagnetic(EM)waves in real time and thus have attracted great attentions from researchers around the *** control EM waves with an arbitrary polarization state,it is desirable that a complete set of basis states be controlled independently since incident EM waves with an arbitrary polarization state can be decomposed as a linear sum of these basis *** this work,we present the concept of complete-basis-reprogrammable coding metasurface(CBR-CM)in reflective manners,which can achieve independently dynamic controls over the reflection phases while maintaining the same amplitude for left-handed circularly polarized(LCP)waves and right-handed circularly polarized(RCP)*** LCP and RCP waves together constitute a complete basis set of planar EM waves,dynamicallycontrolled holograms can be generated under arbitrarily polarized wave *** dynamically reconfigurable metaparticle is implemented to demonstrate the CBR-CM’s robust capability of controlling the longitudinal and transverse positions of holograms under LCP and RCP waves ***’s expected that the proposed CBR-CM opens up ways of realizing more sophisticated and advanced devices with multiple independent information channels,which may provide technical assistance for digital EM environment reproduction.

Non-invasive image-guided precise photothermal/photodynamic therapy(PTT/PDT)has been proven to be an effective local treatment modality but incompetent against ***,the combination of local PTT/PDT and systemic immunotherapy would be a promising strategy for tumor ***,a magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)-visualized PTT/PDT agent(SIDP NMs)was constructed,and the efficacy of its multimodal combination with a programmed cell death 1(PD-1)inhibitor in the treatment of melanoma and metastases was *** to the hydrophobic encapsulation of indocyanine green within the micellar core,SIDP NMs exhibited excellent photothermal/photodynamic properties and stability under an 808 nm near-infrared *** vitro cell experiments showed that SIDP NMs had a good killing *** incubating with B16-F10 cells for 24 h and irradiating with an 808-nm laser for 10 min,cell viability decreased *** resonance imaging experiments in melanoma-bearing mice have shown that the dynamic distribution of SIDP NMs in tumor tissue could be monitored by T2WI and T2-MAP non-invasively due to the presence of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanocrystal in SIDP *** the 808 nm laser was irradiated at the maximum focusing time point shown by MRI,the temperature of the tumor area rapidly increased from 3.℃to 60.7℃in 5 *** mouse melanoma ablation and distant tumor immunotherapy studies,SIDP NMs provided excellent MRI-guided PTT/PDT results and,when combined with PD-1 inhibitor,have great potential to cure primary tumors and eradicate metastases.
