Silicon monoxide(SiO)(silicon[Si]mixed with silicon dioxide[SiO_(2)])/graphite(Gr)composite material is one of the most commercially promising anode materials for the next generation of high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries.The major bottleneck for SiO/Gr composite anode is the poor cyclability arising from the stress/strain behaviors due to the mismatch between two heterogenous materials during the lithiation/delithiation process.To date,a meticulous and quantitative understanding of the highly nonlinear coupling behaviors of such materials is still lacking.Herein,an electro–chemo–mechanics-coupled detailed model containing particle geometries is established.The underlying mechanism of the regulation between SiO and Gr components during electrochemical cycling is quantitatively revealed.We discover that increasing the SiO weight percentage(wt%)reduces the utilization efficiency of the active materials at the same 1C rate charging and enhances the hindering effects of stress-driven flux on diffusion.In addition,the mechanical constraint demonstrates a balanced effect on the overall performance of cells and the local behaviors of particles.This study provides new insights into the fundamental interactions between SiO and Gr materials and advances the investigation methodology for the design and evaluation of next-generation high-energydensity batteries.

Malignant pleural mesothelioma(MPM)is a rare and aggressive malignant disease.Currently,the platinum doublet of pemetrexed and cisplatin is the standard first-line treatment for unresectable MPM.However,recent promising results of immunotherapy have markedly changed the landscape of MPM treatment.Further,the ongoing innovative therapeutic strategies are expected to expand the range of treatment options;however,several questions remain unanswered.First,establishing predictive biomarkers with high potency is urgently needed to optimize the patient selection process.Second,further exploration of the combination algorithm is expected to unveil more effective and safe regimens.Moreover,other dilemmas,such as the resistance mechanism of immunotherapy and the role of immunotherapy in perioperative settings,still warrant further exploration.

SPOCK2， a novel potential target for cereal intake in knee osteoarthritis

Lifestyle is related to many chronic diseases， such as knee osteoarthritis （KOA）. Food intake is important because it can be controlled. However， the causal relationship of food intake and KOA still remain unclear. To identify the relationship between food intake and KOA and to screen relevant targets. First， we performed two-sample Mendelian randomization （MR） analysis. A total of 16 kinds of food intake datasets were included， the inverse variance-weighted analysis showed that the KOA was negatively correlated with cereal intake (odds ratio[OR]0.48; 95% CI 0.35-0.68; P = 1.98 × 10-5). Second， potential drug targets of KOA in plasma were explored， SPOCK2 as the causal protein for plasma with KOA， and increased SPOCK2 (OR 0.84; 95% CI 0.77 – 0.92; P = 5.52 × 10- 5)， decreased the risk of KOA. Integrated transcriptomic analysis （P = 0.0285） and in vivo （P = 0.0395） showed consistent results. Finally， by metabolomics analysis and molecular docking， seven co-expressed small molecules were detected in cereal and were bound to SPOCK2. Our findings indicate the cereal intake was negatively correlated with KOA， and support the SPOCK2 as a novel potential target for cereal intake in KOA. Our study will provide clinical dietary guidance for KOA patients and provide a theoretical basis for the development of novel， side-effect-free drugs for KOA.

Additive manufacturing provides achievability for the fabrication of bimetallic and multi-material structures;however,the material compatibility and bondability directly affect the parts’formability and final quality.It is essential to understand the underlying printability of different material combinations based on an adapted process.Here,the printability disparities of two common and attractive material combinations(nickel-and iron-based alloys)are evaluated at the macro and micro levels via laser directed energy deposition(DED).The deposition processes were captured using in situ high-speed imaging,and the dissimilarities in melt pool features and track morphology were quantitatively investigated within specific process windows.Moreover,the microstructure diversity of the tracks and blocks processed with varied material pairs was comparatively elaborated and,complemented with the informative multi-physics modeling,the presented non-uniformity in mechanical properties(microhardness)among the heterogeneous material pairs was rationalized.The differences in melt flow induced by the unlike thermophysical properties of the material pairs and the resulting element intermixing and localized re-alloying during solidification dominate the presented dissimilarity in printability among the material combinations.This work provides an in-depth understanding of the phenomenological differences in the deposition of dissimilar materials and aims to guide more reliable DED forming of bimetallic parts.

Aging process design based on the morphological evolution ofγprecipitates in a 4th generation nickel-based single crystal superalloy

In order to meet the design requirements of the aging treatment process of a 4th generation nickel-based single crystal superalloy(Ni-SX)developed independently,the effects of aging temperatures and aging times on the precipitation and morphological evolution ofγprecipitates are studied.The morphological evolution behavior ofγprecipitates during the aging process is summarized subsequently and the coarsening behavior ofγprecipitates is discussed by comparing with the Lifshitz-Slyozov-Wagner model(LSW)and the trans-interface diffusion-controlled model(TIDC).It is demonstrated that primary aging temperature and secondary aging time dominate the size and squareness ofγprecipitates respectively,a narrow primary aging temperature range and a suitable secondary aging time are allowed to obtain the optimized morphology ofγprecipitates.The optimal aging process of the Ni-SX investigated in the present work is obtained for 1100-1120°C/4 h and 870°C/16 h,confirmed by the corresponding creep tests.The coarsening growth ofγprecipitates in short-term aging also conforms to the LSW model well.Besides,the aging process design rules of various Ni-SXs of different generations are also summarized.

Improvement for creep strength of a second-generation single crystal superalloy by design of heat treatments

Design of heat treatments is related to the key technology for development of nickel-based single crystal superalloys(Ni-SXs). Based on the full understanding of the solidification characteristics, this work applies optimization design of heat treatments for a second-generation Ni-SX. Microstructure evolution and creep properties are compared in the material under conventional/standard(Std.) and optimized(Opt.) treatments. For the Std. sample,strong dendritic segregations determine inconsistent microstructure evolution in the dendritic(D) and interdendritic region(ID), while the latter serves as weak area to have the prior microcrack initiation, damaging overall performance of the alloy. The Opt. treatment applies higher homogenization temperature, leading to overall reduced segregations, while not inducing incipient melting. A lower temperature of first-step ageing is used to lower the size ofγ'particles. These help to form the more uniform microstructure in dendritic and interdendritic region and relieve the inconsistent microstructure evolution. The balanced local strength makes ID no longer as the weak area,thus restricting microcrack initiation. Great improvement of high temperature and low stress property is obtained by this progress, leading to the pronounced increase of creep rupture life under 1100 °C/140 MPa.

Impacts of different designed microstructures on creep performance of a Ni-based wrought superalloy

The creep behavior of a novel Ni-based wrought superalloy with varying aging states, classified as large underaged(UA), little UA, and little over-aged(OA) states, was investigated at a temperature higher than the intragrain/grain-boundary iso-strength temperature(750°C/250 MPa). In the samples before creep test, there are spherical γ’precipitates homogeneously dispersed within the γ matrix and carbides precipitated at grain boundaries(GBs). After creep tests, precipitate-free zones(PFZs) appear on grain boundaries, with a large blocklike γ’phase present between carbides and PFZs, potentially serving as initiation sites for cracks. Little UA state samples exhibit the strongest creep resistance and intergranular fracture. The dominant creep deformation mechanism in the intra-grain is a combination of Orowan process involving slip and climb of matrix dislocations and shearing of γ’precipitates. The results indicate that the optimizing the grain boundary microstructure may be more important than the change of intragranular microstructure when the creep temperature exceeds the isostrength temperature.

Riverine sulfate sources and behaviors in arid environment,Northwest China:Constraints from sulfur and oxygen isotopes

The fate of riverine sulfate ion (SO_(4)^(2-)) and its environmental effects in arid environment are difficult to evaluate due to its complicated sources and strongly coupled behaviors with water cycle which is significantly modified by humans.To understand the sulfur cycle in aquatic systems in arid environment,the chemical and sulfur and oxygen isotopic compositions (δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)) of major rivers around the Badain Jaran Desert,northwestern China,were investigated.These rivers had averaged SO_(4)^(2-)content at 1336μmol/L,over 10times higher than the global average.The δ^(34)S_(SO4)and δ^(18)O_(SO4)values ranged from-5.3‰to+11.8‰and+1.6‰to+12.8‰,respectively.The end-member analysis and the inverse model showed that riverine sulfate was mainly derived from evaporites dissolution (0-87%),sulfide oxidation (13%-100%) and precipitation (0-33%),indicating heterogeneity in sulfur sources and behaviors along the river drainage with the lithology variations and climate gradients.Multiple isotopic tools combining with hydro-chemistry compositions could be applied to reveal sulfur cycle in arid environment.Based on the calculation,sulfide oxidation plays the primary role in the headwater and upstream in the Qilian-Mountains area,where sulfide is widely exposed.While the proportion of evaporites dissolution contributing to riverine sulfate is much higher in downstream in a drier environment.Besides,less precipitation and higher temperature can lead to more intensive evaporation,affecting the process of sulfide oxidation and enhancing the rates of evaporites dissolution and sulfate precipitation in the basin.

Treatment of advanced non-small cell lung cancer with driver mutations: current applications and future directions

With the improved understanding of driver mutations in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), expanding the targeted therapeutic options improved the survival and safety. However, responses to these agents are commonly temporary and incomplete. Moreover, even patients with the same oncogenic driver gene can respond diversely to the same agent. Furthermore, the therapeutic role of immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in oncogene-driven NSCLC remains unclear. Therefore, this review aimed to classify the management of NSCLC with driver mutations based on the gene subtype, concomitant mutation, and dynamic alternation. Then, we provide an overview of the resistant mechanism of target therapy occurring in targeted alternations (“target-dependent resistance”) and in the parallel and downstream pathways (“target-independent resistance”). Thirdly, we discuss the effectiveness of ICIs for NSCLC with driver mutations and the combined therapeutic approaches that might reverse the immunosuppressive tumor immune microenvironment. Finally, we listed the emerging treatment strategies for the new oncogenic alternations, and proposed the perspective of NSCLC with driver mutations. This review will guide clinicians to design tailored treatments for NSCLC with driver mutations.

为有效提升数控加工过程中粗加工刀具的使用效率,提出一种基于数控工艺信息挖掘的型腔特征粗加工刀具序列优化决策方法。首先计算型腔特征的中轴变换表征数控加工的刀具轨迹,探究中轴变换与数控加工的映射机理;然后基于加工规则和中轴变换参数,挖掘隐含在型腔特征中的深层次数控工艺信息;最后综合考虑材料去除量和加工连续性,建立刀具序列决策的多目标优化模型,采用混合蚁群/模拟退火算法进行优化求解。实验结果表明,该方法能够高效、自动生成型腔特征最优粗加工刀具序列,提升企业数控工艺设计智能化水平。
