Zinc-ion batteries(ZIBs) are recognized as potential energy storage devices due to their advantages of low cost, high energy density, and environmental friendliness. However, zinc anodes are subject to unavoidable zinc dendrites, passivation, corrosion, and hydrogen evolution reactions during the charging and discharging of batteries, becoming obstacles to the practical application of ZIBs. Appropriate zinc metal-free anodes provide a higher working potential than metallic zinc anodes, effectively solving the problems of zinc dendrites, hydrogen evolution, and side reactions during the operation of metallic zinc anodes. The improvement in the safety and cycle life of batteries creates conditions for further commercialization of ZIBs. Therefore, this work systematically introduces the research progress of zinc metal-free anodes in “rocking chair” ZIBs. Zinc metal-free anodes are mainly discussed in four categories: transition metal oxides,transition metal sulfides, MXene(two dimensional transition metal carbide) composites, and organic compounds, with discussions on their properties and zinc storage mechanisms. Finally, the outlook for the development of zinc metal-free anodes is proposed. This paper is expected to provide a reference for the further promotion of commercial rechargeable ZIBs.

Kinetic study on reactive extraction for chiral separation of phenylsuccinic acid enantiomers

在神华集团“一步酸溶法”粉煤灰生产氧化铝工艺的蒸发结晶工序中,锂及其他金属元素(K、Na、Mg、Ca等)长期富集,分离结晶氯化铝的母液中锂含量高达429mg/L。为了提取蒸发母液中的锂元素,研究人员采用喷雾焙烧技术和纯水浸出技术,成功实现了高酸度和饱和氯化铝溶液中铝、锂元素的有效分离。结果表明:在最佳的实验条件下,即热风温度为390℃、料浆浓度为200g/L、料浆流速为60g/L时,室温下料浆中锂离子提取率高达93.67%(质量分数)。XRD表征手段证实:当焙烧产物为无定形氧化铝,并含有钠明矾石物相时,焙烧产物中锂离子提取率较高,可能归因于钠明矾石中钠离子数量较多及钠离子的尺寸效应引起的。该方法有效解决了蒸发母液中的锂元素高效回收问题。

OBJECTIVE: To reveal the potential underlying mechanism of the Shenqi Tiaoshen formula(参芪调肾方, SQTS) in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) by utilizing network pharmacology, molecular docking, and experimental verification. METHODS: Multiple open-source databases and research related to Traditional Chinese Medicine or compounds were employed to screen active ingredients and corresponding potential targets of the SQTS. The protein-protein interaction network screened hub genes, the relevant molecular mechanism and gene regulation were initially identified through the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) and Gene Ontology(GO) analysis, and molecular docking was used to confirm further the interaction of the main components bound to the core targets. In vivo experiments on the COPD combined Qi-deficiency syndrome rat model were performed to verify the intervention effects and predicted potential molecular mechanisms of the SQTS. RESULTS: This study selected 156 active compounds and 326 candidate targets for treating COPD. Quercetin, Nobiletin, Kaempferol, Luteolin, Ginsenoside Rh2 and Formononetin were probably the main active compounds of SQTS in COPD treatment as they affected the most COPD-related targets, and interleukin-1(IL-6), signal transducing activator of transcription 3(STAT3), matrix metalloproteinase-9(MMP9), vascular endothelial growth factor A(VEGFA), protein kinase B(AKT1), hypoxiainducible factor-1α(HIF-1α), and forkhead box O3(FoxO3) were identified as the hub genes associated with its therapeutic effect. KEGG analysis was mainly enriched in the signaling pathways closely related to inflammation, immunity and oxidative stress, such as HIF-1, tumor necrosis factor(TNF), phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase(PI3K)-AKT, FoxO, apoptosis, IL-17, and toll-like receptor. Flexible sensors have been widely studied for use in motion monitoring,human‒machine interactions(HMIs),personalized medicine,and soft intelligent ***,their practical application is limited by their low output performance,narrow measuring range,and unidirectional force ***,to achieve flexibility and high performance simultaneously,we developed a flexible wide-range multidimensional force sensor(FWMFS)similar to bones embedded in muscle *** adjustable magnetic field endows the FWMFS with multidimensional perception for detecting forces in different *** multilayer stacked coils significantly improved the output from theμV to the mV level while ensuring FWMFS *** optimized FWMFS exhibited a high voltage sensitivity of 0.227 mV/N(0.5–8.4 N)and 0.047 mV/N(8.4–60 N)in response to normal forces ranging from 0.5 N to 60 N and could detect lateral forces ranging from 0.2–1.1 N and voltage sensitivities of 1.039 mV/N(0.2–0.5 N)and 0.194 mV/N(0.5–1.1 N).In terms of normal force measurements,the FWMFS can monitor finger pressure and sliding trajectories in response to finger taps,as well as measure plantar pressure for assessing human *** plantar pressure signals of five human movements collected by the FWMFS were analyzed using the k-nearest neighbors classification algorithm,which achieved a recognition accuracy of 92%.Additionally,an artificial intelligence biometric authentication system is being developed that classifies and recognizes user *** on the lateral force measurement ability of the FWMFS,the direction of ball movement can be distinguished,and communication systems such as Morse Code can be *** research has significant potential in intelligent sensing and personalized spatial recognition.

CFIRL is a long noncoding RNA(lnc RNA),we previously identified as the most significantly upregulated lnc RNA in the failing hearts of patients with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM).In this study,we determined the function of CFIRL and its role in ***-time polymerase chain reaction and in situ hybridization assays revealed that CFIRL was primarily localized in the nucleus of cardiac fibroblasts and robustly increased in failing *** knockdown or fibroblast-specific knockout of CFIRL attenuated transverse aortic constriction(TAC)-induced cardiac dysfunction and fibrosis in *** of CFIRL in vitro promoted fibroblast proliferation and aggravated angiotensin II-induced differentiation to *** knockdown attenuated these ***,RNA pull-down assay and gene expression profiling revealed that CFIRL recruited ENO1,a newly identified noncanonical transcriptional factor,to activate ***-6 exerted a paracrine effect on cardiomyocytes to promote cardiac hypertrophy,which can be prevented by CFIRL *** findings uncover the critical role of CFIRL,a fibroblast-associated lnc RNA,in heart failure by facilitating crosstalk between fibroblasts and *** knockdown might be a potent strategy to prevent cardiac remodeling in heart failure,particularly in DCM.

This paper deals with the enantioseparation of phenylsuccinic acid(H2A)enantiomers by liquid-liquid reactive extraction usingβ-CD derivatives as aqueous *** and its derivatives can interact with guest molecules selectively to form complexes with different *** derivatives are not soluble in organic liquids,but highly soluble in *** this work,hydroxypropyl-β-cyclodextrin(HP-β-CD),hydroxyethyl- β-cyclodextrin(HE-β-CD)and methyl-β-cyclodextrin(Me-β-CD)were selected as chiral selectors in aqueous phase for the reactive extraction of phenylsuccinic acid enantiomers from organic phase to aqueous *** results show that the efficiency of the extraction depends,often strongly,on a number of process variables,including the types of organic solvents andβ-CD derivatives,the concentrations of the extractants and H2A enantiomers,pH and ***-β-CD,HE-β-CD and Me-β-CD have stronger recognition abilities for R-phenylsuccinic acid than for S-phenylsuccinic *** the three kinds ofβ-CD derivatives,HP-β-CD has the strongest separation ability. Excellent enantioseparation was achieved under the optimal conditions of pH of 2.5 and temperature of 5°C with a maximum enantioselectivity(a)of *** extraction of enantiomers with hydrophilicβ-CD derivatives is of strong chiral separation ability and can be hopeful for separations of various enantiomers at a large-scale.

环境磁学指标已被用来区分中国近海沉积物中长江和黄河物质来源,但是该方法会受到潜在的成岩作用影响。硅酸盐中的磁性矿物包裹体不受成岩作用影响,具有可靠区分物源的潜力。本研究将盐酸(10 mol/L)处理后样品的磁性特征视作硅酸盐中磁性矿物包裹体的贡献,以提供区分长江和黄河沉积物的新指标。结果表明,盐酸处理后样品中与磁性矿物含量有关的参数(χ、 SIRM、χARM、 HIRM)不到处理前样品参数值的10%;硅酸盐中的磁性矿物包裹体以低矫顽力的亚铁磁性矿物为主,相比原样中的亚铁磁性颗粒更细;盐酸处理后长江沉积物相比黄河,具有更高的SIRM、χARM、 HIRM值,表明前者包裹体中亚铁磁性矿物和不完整反铁磁性矿物含量更高。分粒级的磁学参数显示,两个河流沉积物磁性矿物包裹体SIRM与HIRM值随着粒级的增大而增大。由于长江支流众多,岩石类型复杂,包裹体磁性参数变化较大,而黄河物质主要来自于黄土高原的黄土,黄土由源区至高原的风力搬运过程中的分选和混合,使得包裹体磁性矿物含量较低,但磁性参数相对均一。本研究表明,利用硅酸盐中磁性矿物包裹体SIRM和S-100散点图、磁性参数主成分分析和热磁曲线,可有效区分长江和黄河沉积物。

1916年纽约市脊髓灰质炎大流行是20世纪该病在美国第一次大规模暴发。当时美国社会对脊髓灰质炎病毒的传播途径尚不明晰,没有治疗该病的有效方法,政府防疫政策左右摇摆,未能制定切实可行的防控措施,错失了控制初期疫情的最佳时机,导致脊髓灰质炎患病率增加。在大流行初期及其后的蔓延期,纽约市卫生局通过成立专门疫情防控部门、组建医疗和检疫队伍、新增医院和病床以及增强疫病防治宣传等措施,防止疫情进一步蔓延。除了政府机构推出的诸多防控和治疗举措外,社会力量也积极参与到这场与疫病的战斗中。洛克菲勒基金会和妇女群体在抗疫中保持了较为积极的态度,有效支持了政府的防疫政策。最终在多方合力下,此次疫情于当年11月中旬得以平息。此次疫情对美国和世界脊髓灰质炎防治产生了深远影响:一方面重塑了纽约市传染病防治体系,促进了跨地区和跨国传染病防控合作,引发了国际社会的广泛关注,加快了脊髓灰质炎防治科研进程;另一方面在一定程度上造成了对儿童和少数族群的社会歧视,助长了美国社会的撕裂。
