Robust superhydrophobic surfaces with excellent capacities of repelling water and anti-frosting are of importance for many mechanical components.In this work,wear-resistant superhydrophobic surfaces were fabricated by curing a mixture of polyurethane acrylate(PUA)coating and 1H,1H,2H,2H-Perfluorodecyltrichlorosilane(HFTCS)on titanium alloy(TC4)surfaces decorated with micropillars pattern,thus,composite functional surfaces with PUA coating in the valleys around the micropillars pattern of TC4 were achieved.Apparent contact angle on fabricated surfaces could reach 167°.Influences of the geometric parameters of micropillars pattern on the apparent contact angle were investigated,and the corresponding wear-resistant property was compared.Droplet impact and anti-frosting performances on the prepared surfaces were highlighted.An optimized design of surface texture with robust superhydrophobicity,controllable droplet impact,and anti-frosting performances was proposed.This design principle is of promising prospects for fabricating superhydrophobic surfaces in traditional mechanical systems.

An Interfacial Gel Electrode Patch with Tunable Hydrogen Bond Network for Electromyographic Sensing and Discrimination

The sensitivity and fidelity of surface electromyography(sEMG)signal monitoring is critical for muscle status and fatigue assessment,prosthetic control,and gesture recognition.However,the incompatible skin-electrode interface and complex electrophysiological environment restrict the sensitive acquisition and accurate analysis of sEMG signals.Focused on the impedance of the skin-electrode interface issue,we developed an interfacial gel electrode patch with a tunable hydrogen bond network to simultaneously achieve a conformal interface,suitable adhesion,and high conductivity for sEMG signal monitoring.By exploiting hydroxyethylidene diphosphonic acid(HEDP)and 2-hydroxyphosphono-acetic acid(HPAA)as hydrogen bonding regulators were introduced into the polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)-based hydrogel network to regulate the hydrogen bond cross-linking network.As a result,the balance of elastic modulus,adhesion,and electrical conductivity of PVA-HEDP-HPAA(PHH)hydrogel are achieved.The reliable electrodeskin interface is manipulated to achieve conformal contact by matching the elastic modulus,reducing the gap of electrode-skin interface by adhesion,and promoting ion and electron conduction by electrical conductivity.The PHH electrode patches exhibit a lower interfacial impedance(12.56 kΩ)and a signal-to-noise ratio of 38.09±1.28 dB for accurate analysis of muscle strength and evaluation of the fatigue state.With the assistance of the artificial neural network algorithm,seven gestures can be recognized with 100%prediction accuracy.The interfacial gel electrode patch contributes a bio-matching electrophysiological platform for prosthetic control,human–machine interaction,and clinical or athletic auxiliary monitoring.

The limited energy density of lithium-ion capacitors poses a significant obstacle to their widespread application,primarily stemming from the inability of the electrodes to simultaneously fulfill both high energy density and rapid charging requirements.Experimental data demonstrate that a directional particle configuration can enhance charging speed while maintaining high-capacity density,but it is rarely discussed.Here,we have developed a particle-level electrochemical model capable of reconstructing an electrode with a directional particle configuration.By employing this method,an investigation was conducted to explore how the spatial morphology characteristics of particle configuration impact the energy storage characteristics of electrodes.Results demonstrate that rational particle configuration can effectively enhance the transport of lithium ions and create additional space for lithium-ion storage.With the same particle size distribution,the best electrode can increase the discharge capacity by up to132.4% and increase the charging SOC by 11.3% compared to the ordinary electrode under the condition of 6 C.These findings provide a further understanding of the energy storage mechanism inside the anisotropic particle distribution electrode,which is important for developing high-performance lithium-ion capacitors.

Fatigue Resistance of RCA Modified Asphalt Based on Dielectric Properties

In order to study the anti-fatigue performance of RCA modified asphalt (RMA),the performance of RMA and 90#matrix asphalt with different modifier content were measured by asphalt penetration,ductility,softening point,Brookfield viscosity,rheological index,infrared spectrum and dielectric constant test.This paper discusses the changes of asphalt basic indexes,fatigue properties and asphalt components based on dielectric properties under different modifier contents,and analyzes the grey correlation degree between components and asphalt pavement performance indexes.The results show that the optimum content of RCA modifier is 16.7%of the asphalt quality according to the penetration,ductility,softening point,Brockfield viscosity,viscosity temperature curve and fatigue life.In the phase angle-strain curve,there is disorder in the latter part of the curve.According to the strain (ε_(d)) corresponding to the disorder point,a new fatigue failure criterion is proposed and proved.Based on the new asphalt fatigue failure criterion,the fatigue prediction model of asphalt mixture is improved,and the fatigue life predicted by the improved fatigue model is compared with the fatigue life obtained by four-point bending fatigue test.The results show that the proposed new asphalt fatigue failure criterion is reasonable,and the fatigue life predicted by the improved asphalt mixture fatigue prediction model is accurate.The research method of classifying asphalt components based on dielectric properties is simple and effective,and the components have a high correlation with the road performance of base asphalt and modified asphalt.

Study on Functional Mechanical Performance of Honeycomb Array Structures Inspired by Gideon Beetle

To obtain bio-inspired structures with superior biological function,four bio-inspired structures named regular arrangement honeycomb structure(RAHS),staggered arrangement honeycomb structure(SAHS),floral arrangement honeycomb structure(FLAHS)and functional arrangement honeycomb structure(FUAHS)are designed by observing the microstructure of the Gideon beetle,based on the optimal size bio-inspired cells by response surface method(RSM)and particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm.According to Euler theory and buckling failure theory,compression deformation properties of bio-inspired structures are explained.Experiments and simulations further verify the accuracy of theoretical analysis results.The results show that energy absorption of FLAHS is,respectively,increased by 26.95%,22.85%,and 121.45%,compared with RAHS,SAHS,and FUAHS.Elastic modulus of FLAHS is 110.37%,110.37%,and 230.56% of RAHS,SAHS,and FUAHS,respectively.FLAHS perfectly inherits crashworthiness and energy absorption properties of the Gideon beetle,and FLAHS has the most stable force.Similarly,RAHS,SAHS,and FUAHS,respectively,inherit mechanical properties of the Gideon beetle top horn,the Gideon beetle middle horn,and the abdomen of the beetle.This method,designing bio-inspired structures with biological functions,can be introduced into the engineering field requiring the special function.

Skin Toxicity of Wufang Babu Ointment to Zebrafish

[Objectives]Using wild-type AB strain of zebrafish as experimental animal,this study investigated the damaging effect of Wufang Babu Ointment on skin cells,in order to evaluate the skin toxicity of Wufang Babu Ointment.[Methods]Wild-type AB strain of zebrafish with an age of 2 d were taken and fed in different concentrations of Wufang Babu Ointment solution for 24 h.The number of deaths in each group of zebrafish was recorded,and the mortality rate was calculated.Using Origin 8.0 software,the maximum non lethal concentration(MNLC)was simulated.Zebrafish raised in different concentrations of Wufang Babu Ointment solution for 24 h were placed under an anatomical microscope for taking photos,to analyze and calculate the incidence of skin damage in zebrafish.Based on the statistical analysis results of this indicator,the skin toxicity of Wufang Babu Ointment was evaluated.[Results]The MNLC of Wufang Babu Ointment on zebrafish was 671μg/mL;Wufang Babu Ointment can induce skin damage at the concentrations of 224μg/mL(1/3 MNLC)and 671μg/mL(MNLC).[Conclusions]Wufang Babu Ointment had certain skin toxicity to zebrafish.

为研究纯蒸汽在竖直管内非完全冷凝的换热特性,使用内径为25 mm的换热管进行实验,入口压力为0.1~0.3 MPa,蒸汽质量流速为12~70 kg/(m^(2)·s)。研究了入口压力、质量流速和质量含气率对管内平均和局部冷凝换热系数的影响,判别了冷凝过程中液膜流态,分析了液膜湍流度和液滴夹带对竖直管内冷凝换热的影响。结果表明:冷凝换热系数随着质量流速和质量含气率的增大而增大,竖直管的冷凝换热系数随着入口压力的升高而降低。实验中的液膜流型主要在过渡流区间,液滴夹带的发生使局部冷凝换热系数提高。对比4种环状流冷凝换热关系式计算结果发现,Shah的经验关系式基本偏差在±30%以内,平均绝对偏差(MAD)为18.91%。基于实验数据提出的经验关系式,其计算值和实验值基本偏差在±10%以内。

Four new seco-dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans,kadlongilignans A-D(1-4),consisting of a rare 6,7-seco-(1),two 15,16-seco-(2 and 3) and a 9,10-seco-dibenzocyclooctadiene(4) lignans,were isolated from the roots of Kadsura longipedunculata.Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis,including extensive NM R,MS and ECD(electronic circular dichroism) spectra.Compounds 3 and 4 exhibited potent inhibitory activities against NO(nitric oxide) production of LPS(lipopolysaccharide)-induced murine macrophages with the inhibition rates of 36.3% and 26.9%,respectively.

采用真空热压烧结技术制备了TiCN–WC–HfN陶瓷,研究了Re含量(摩尔分数)对其微观组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明:TiCN–WC–HfN–Ni–Re陶瓷材料由TiC_(0.41)N_(0.5)、WC、HfN、TiC、Ni和Re组成,其中TiC_(0.41)N_(0.5)0是TiC与TiN在烧结过程中生成的固溶体。TiCN–WC–HfN–Ni–Re陶瓷材料断口上存在凹坑和解理面,当Re摩尔分数为2.5%时,材料断口上的凹坑较多。当Re摩尔分数由0增到3.0%时,材料的维氏硬度、抗弯强度和断裂韧度均先增大后减小。当Re摩尔分数为2.5%时,材料的力学性能最优,其维氏硬度为(19.25±0.21)GPa、抗弯强度为(1304±23)MPa、断裂韧度为(7.73±0.22)MPa∙m^(1/2)。TiCN–WC–HfN–Ni–Re陶瓷在断裂过程中发生了穿晶断裂和沿晶断裂,其增韧机制为裂纹偏转和裂纹桥连。

Determination of Benzoylaconitine Compounds in the Decoctions of Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata(Heishun Pieces),Trichosanthis Fructus and Their Combination

[Objectives]This study was conducted to determine the contents of benzoylmesaconine,benzoylaconitine and benzoylhypacoitine in the decoctions of Heishun pieces,Trichosanthis Fructus and their combination.[Methods]Heishun pieces,Trichosanthis Fructus and their combination were extracted for different time periods,and then grouped.HPLC was performed using an Agilent ZORBAX SB-C 18 chromatographic column(4.6 mm×250 mm,5μm)and acetonitrile-0.02 mol/L sodium dihydrogen phosphate as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1 mL/min and a column temperature of 30℃,and the sample volume was 20μL.The detection wavelength was 230 nm.[Results]The total amounts of benzoylmesaconine,benzoylaconitine and benzoylhypacoitine in the single decoction group of Heishun pieces were all significantly different from those in the combined decoction group at corresponding time.[Conclusions]The total content of the benzoylaconitine type increased significantly after the combined decoction of Heishun pieces and Fructus Trichosanthis,which proves the scientificity of"eighteen incompatible medicaments,19 counteraction"in traditional Chinese medicine to some extent.
