Parameter calibration and experimental verification of discrete element simulation model for Protaetia brevitarsis larvae bioconversion mixture

To improve the survival rate of larvae during ma.erial separation after biotransforma.ion of existing residual film mixtures of Protaetia brevitarsis larvae,this paper adopts the method of combining physical test and EDEM simulation test,and selects hertz Mindlin with JKR contact model to calibrate the discrete element simulation contact parameters of the Protaetia brevitarsis larvae and the frass ***,the cylinder lifting method was used to determine the actual repose angle of the mixture of larvae and *** collision recovery coefficients between larvae-frass and steel,static friction coefficient,kinetic friction coefficient and the collision recovery coefficient between larvae were measured through physical tests such as the inclined plane *** Plackett-Burma. test was then used to screen out the factors that have a significant impact on the repose angle:Poisson’s ratio of frass,frass-frass rolling friction coefficient,frass JKR surface energy,frass-larvae JKR surface *** optima. value intervals of four significant factors were determined based on the steepest climb test,Based on the Box-Behnken response surface analysis test,the second-order regression model between the repose angle and four significant factors was determined,and variance and interaction effects were *** with the actual repose angle as the goal,the significant factors were optimized and the optima. parameter combination of the four significant factors was *** simulation test of ma.erial repose angle and screening was carried out with the optima. parameter combination,and compared with the physical *** was found that the ma.imum relative errors of the two tests were 1.48%and 3.79%respectively,indicating that the calibrated parameter values are true and reliable,It can provide a reference for the discrete element simulation of the transportation and separation of the Protaetia brevitarsis larvae-frass mixture.

Role of ACLY in the development of gastric cancer under hyperglycemic conditions

To investigate the impact of hyperglycemia on the prognosis of patients with gastric cancer and identify key molecules associated with high glucose levels in gastric cancer development,RNA sequencing data and clinical features of gastric cancer patients were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)*** glucose-related genes strongly associated with gastric cancer were identified using weighted gene co-expression network and differential analyses.A gastric cancer prognosis signature was constructed based on these genes and patients were categorized into high-and low-risk *** immune statuses of the two patient groups were *** citrate lyase(ACLY),a gene significantly related to the prognosis,was found to be upregulated upon high-glucose *** and molecular analyses confirmed high ACLY expression in gastric cancer tissues and *** Set Enrichment Analysis(GSEA)revealed the involvement of ACLY in cell cycle and DNA replication *** of ACLY affected the proliferation and migration of gastric cancer cells induced by high glucose *** findings suggest that ACLY,as a high glucose-related gene,plays a critical role in gastric cancer progression.

In recent years,the Internet of Things(IoT)has gradually developed applications such as collecting sensory data and building intelligent services,which has led to an explosion in mobile data ***,with the rapid development of artificial intelligence,sema.tic communication has attracted great attention as a new communication ***,for IoT devices,however,processing ima.e informa.ion efficiently in real time is an essential task for the rapid transmission of sema.tic *** the increase of model parameters in deep learning methods,the model inference time in sensor devices continues to *** contrast,the Pulse Coupled Neural Network(PCNN)has fewer parameters,ma.ing it more suitable for processing real-time scene tasks such as ima.e segmentation,which lays the foundation for real-time,effective,and accurate ima.e ***,the parameters of PCNN are determined by trial and error,which limits its *** overcome this limitation,an Improved Pulse Coupled Neural Networks(IPCNN)model is proposed in this *** IPCNN constructs the connection between the static properties of the input ima.e and the dynamic properties of the neurons,and all its parameters are set adaptively,which avoids the inconvenience of ma.ual setting in traditional methods and improves the adaptability of parameters to different types of *** segmentation results demonstrate the validity and efficiency of the proposed self-adaptive parameter setting method of IPCNN on the gray ima.es and natural ima.es from the ma.lab and Berkeley Segmentation *** IPCNN method achieves a better segmentation result without training,providing a new solution for the real-time transmission of ima.e sema.tic informa.ion.

Understanding the foraging behavior is essential for investigating seabird ecology and conservation,as well as monitoring the well-being of the ma.ine *** seabirds adopt diverse foraging strategies to ma.imize energy gains and cope with the intensified challenges of parenting and *** tradeoff ma. stem from the heterogeneity of food resources and the constraints of central place ***,abundant ma.ine productivity could alleviate the energy limitation for seabirds,resulting in a consistent foraging ***,we investigated the foraging strategy during the breeding season of a cryptic sma.l-sized seabird,Swinhoe’s Storm-petrel(hydrobates monorhis),in the Yellow Sea,a productive ma.ginal sea of the Northwest *** GPS tracking,we evaluated habitat preference,quantified the foraging strategy,and tested if environmental conditions and individual traits influence foraging *** found that Swinhoe’s Storm-petrels preferred nearshore areas with shallow water and engaged in prima.ily short foraging *** southeastward and southwestward strategies emerged when combining trip metrics,including foraging direction,duration,and ma.imum *** bathymetry,proximity to the coastline,and sea surface temperature differed in two foraging *** strategies exhibited flexibility between individuals,potentially explained by wing morphology,in which longer-winged birds are more likely to embark on longer-distance foraging *** findings highlight the impact of environmental factors and individual traits on seabirds’foraging decisions in productive ma.ginal sea *** study also provides valuable insights into the foraging ecology of this Asian endemic storm-petrel.
