High-performance localized high-concentration electrolytes by diluent design for long-cycling lithium metal batteries

Electrolyte design is essential for stabilizing lithium metal anodes and localized high-concentration electrolyte(LHCE) is a promising one. However, the state-of-the-art LHCE remains insufficient to ensure long-cycling lithium metal anodes. Herein, regulating the solvation structure of lithium ions in LHCE by weakening the solvating power of diluents is proposed for improving LHCE performance. A diluent,1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4-octafluoro-5-(1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethoxy) pentane(OFE), with weaker solvating power is introduced to increase the proportion of aggregates(an anion interacts with more than two lithium ions,Agg-n) in electrolyte compared with the commonly used 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethyl-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl ether(TTE). The decomposition of Agg-n in OFE-based LHCE intensifies the formation of anion-derived solid electrolyte interphase and improves the uniformity of lithium deposition. Lithium metal batteries with OFE-based LHCE deliver a superior lifespan of 190 cycles compared with 90 cycles of TTE-based LHCE under demanding conditions. Furthermore, a pouch cell with OFE-based LHCE delivers a specific energy of 417 Wh/kg and undergoes 49 cycles. This work provides guidance for designing high-performance electrolytes for lithium metal batteries.

Ribosomopathies encompass a spectrum of disorders arising from impaired ribosome biogenesis and reduced *** or dysexpression of the genes that disturb any finely regulated steps of ribosome biogenesis can result in different types of ribosomopathies in clinic,collectively known as ribosomopathy *** data suggest that ribosomopathy patients exhibit a significantly heightened susceptibility to *** ribosome biogenesis and dysregulation of some ribosomopathy genes have also been found to be intimately associated with cancer *** correlation between ribosome biogenesis or ribosomopathy and the development of malignancies has been well *** work aims to review the recent advances in the research of ribosomopathy genes among human cancers and meanwhile,to excavate the potential role of these genes,which have not or rarely been reported in cancer,in the disease development across *** plan to establish a theoretical framework between the ribosomopathy gene and cancer development,to further facilitate the potential of these genes as diagnostic biomarker as well as pharmaceutical targets for cancer treatment.

Impact of volcanism on the formation and hydrocarbon generation of organic-rich shale in the Jiyang Depression, Bohai Bay Basin, China

globally,most organic-rich shales are deposited with volcanic ash *** ash,a source for many sedimentary basins,can affect the sedimentary water environment,alter the primary productivity,and preserve the organic matter(OM)through physical,chemical,and biological *** an increasing number of breakthroughs in shale oil exploration in the Bohai Bay Basin in recent years,less attention has been paid to the crucial role of volcanic impact especially its influence on the OM enrichment and hydrocarbon ***,we studied the petrology,mineralogy,and geochemical characteristics of the organic-rich shale in the upper submember of the fourth member(Es_(4)^(1))and the lower submember of the third member(Es_(3)^(3))of the Shahejie Formation,aiming to better understand the volcanic impact on organic-rich shale *** results show that total organic carbon is higher in the upper shale intervals rich in volcanic ash with enriched light rare earth elements and moderate Eu *** indicates that volcanism promoted OM formation before or after the *** positive correlation between Eu/Eu*and Post-Archean Australian Shale indicates hydrothermal activity before the volcanic *** plane graph of the hydrocarbon-generating intensity(S1+S2)suggests that the heat released by volcanism promoted hydrocarbon ***,the nutrients carried by volcanic ash promoted biological blooms during Es_(4)^(1 )and Es_(3)^(3) deposition,yielding a high primary *** blooms consume large amounts of oxygen and form anoxic environments conducive to the burial and preservation of ***,this study helps to further understand the organic-inorganic interactions caused by typical geological events and provides a guide for the next step of shale oil exploration and development in other lacustrine basins in China.

Production performance analysis of a continental shale oil reservoir in Bohai Bay basin

Due to the extremely low permeability of shale formations,the combination of horizontal well and volume fracturing has been proposed as an effective technique to improve the production of Dagang continental shale oil *** on the flow material balance method(FMB)and straight-line analysis(SLA)method,the stimulated reservoir volume(SRV)and drainage volume are determined to identify the flow regimes of the seepage mechanism of shale oil *** resolve the challenges of multi-scaled flow regimes and bottom hole pressure(BHP)variation before and after pumping in shale oil wells,a multi-linear analytical flow model was established to predict the future production and the final expected ultimate recoverable oil(EURo)after fitting the historical production *** on the results,it can be concluded that the flow regime of a shale oil well in production can be divided into two stages consisting of linear flow within SRV and composite flow from the un-stimulated area to *** effects of fracturing operation parameters,such as fracturing fluid volume and sand/liquid ratio,on shale oil productivity,are analyzed,and insightful suggestions are drawn for the future development of this pay zone.
