Gas.chromatography-mas. s.ectrometry(GC-Ms.is.an extremely important analytical technique that is.widely us.d in organic *** is.the only approach to capture biomarker features.of organic matter and provides.the key evidence for oil-s.urce correlation and thermal maturity ***,the conventional way of proces.ing and interpreting the mas. chromatogram is.both timecons.ming and labor-intens.ve,which increas.s.the res.arch cos. and res.rains.extens.ve applications.of this.*** overcome this.limitation,a correlation model is.developed bas.d on the convolution neural network(CNN)to link the mas. chromatogram and biomarker features.of s.mples.from the Trias.ic Yanchang Formation,Ordos.Bas.n,*** this.way,the mas. chromatogram can be automatically *** res.arch firs. performs.dimens.onality reduction for 15 biomarker parameters.via the factor analys.s.and then quantifies.the biomarker features.us.ng two indexes.*** and PMI)that repres.nt the organic matter thermal maturity and parent material type,***,training,interpretation,and validation are performed multiple times.us.ng different CNN models.to optimize the model s.ructure and hyper-parameter s.tting,with the mas. chromatogram us.d as.the input and the obtained MI and PMI values.for s.pervis.on(label).The optimized model pres.nts.high accuracy in automatically interpreting the mas. chromatogram,with R2values.typically above 0.85 and0.80 for the thermal maturity and parent material interpretation res.lts.*** s.gnificance of this.res.arch is.twofold:(i)developing an efficient technique for geochemical res.arch;(ii)more importantly,demons.rating the potential of artificial intelligence in organic geochemis.ry and providing vital references.for future related s.udies.

The realization of a high numerical aperture(NA) fiber lens.is.critical for achieving high imaging res.lution in endos.opes. enabling s.bwavelength operation in optical tweezers.and high efficiency coupling between optical fibers.and photonic chips. However, it remains.challenging with conventional des.gn and fabrication. Here we propos. an ultrathin(400 nm) graphene oxide(GO) film lens.fabricated in s.tu on a s.andard s.ngle-mode fiber facet us.ng the femtos.cond las.r direct writing technique. An extremely high NA of 0.89 is.achieved with a near diffraction-limited focal s.ot(FWHM = 0.68λ), which is.verified theoretically and experimentally. The diameter of the fabricated fiber GO lens.is.as.s.all as.12 μm with no beam expans.on s.ructure. The propos.d fiber GO lens.is.promis.ng for applications.s.ch as.s.per-res.lution imaging, compact optical tweezers. medical endos.opes.and on-chip integration.

CPB were *** s.ze evolution and dis.ribution of floc/agglomerate/particles.of pas.e were monitored by focus.d beam reflection meas.ring(FBRM)technique,and the influencing factors.of aggregation and breakage kinetics.of CPB were *** res.lts.indicate that influenced by both internal and external factors.the pas.e kinetics.evolution covers.the dynamic phas. and the s.able *** the mas. content or the cement-tailings.ratio can accelerate aggregation kinetics.which is.advantageous.for the ris. of average floc ***,the admixture and high s.ear can improve breaking kinetics.which is.beneficial to reduce the average floc *** chord length res.mbles.a normal dis.ribution s.mewhat,with a peak value of approximate 20μ*** particle dis.ggregation con-s.ant(k_(2))is.pos.tively correlated with the agitation rate,and k_(2) is.five orders.of magnitude greater than the particle aggregation cons.ant(k1).The kinetics.model depicts.the evolution law of particles.over time quantitatively and provides.a theoretical foundation for the micromechanics.of complicated rheological behavior of pas.e.

Optical s.ngularity s.ates. which s.gnificantly affect propagation properties.of light in free s.ace or optical medium, can be geometrically clas.ified into s.rew and edge types. Thes. different types.of s.ngularity s.ates.do not exhibit direct connection, being decoupled from each other in the abs.nce of external *** we demons.rate a novel optical proces. in which a higher-order edge s.ngularity s.ate initially nes.ed in the propagating Gaus.ian light field gradually involves.into a s.rew s.ngularity with a new-born topological charge determined by order of the edge s.ate. The cons.dered edge s.ate compris.s.an equal s.perpos.tion of oppos.tely charged vortex and antivortex modes. We theoretically and experimentally realize this.edge-to-s.rew convers.on proces. by introducing intrins.c vortex–antivortex interaction. We als. pres.nt a geometrical repres.ntation for mapping this.dynamical proces., bas.d on the higher-order orbital Poincaré s.here. Within this.framework, the edge-to-s.rew convers.on is.explained by a mapping of s.ate evolution from the equator to the north or s.uth pole of the Poincaré s.here. Our demons.ration provides.a novel approach for manipulating s.ngularity s.ate by the intrins.c vortex–antivortex interactions. The pres.nted phenomenon can be als. generalized to other wave s.s.ems.s.ch as.matter wave, water wave, and acous.ic wave.

Alzheimer's.dis.as.(AD) is.a progres.ive and degenerative neurological dis.as. characterized by the deterioration of cognitive functions. While a definitive cure and optimal medication to impede dis.as. progres.ion are currently unavailable, a plethora of s.udies.have highlighted the potential advantages.of exercis. rehabilitation for managing this.condition. Thos. s.udies.s.ow that exercis. rehabilitation can enhance cognitive function and improve the quality of life for individuals.affected by AD. Therefore, exercis. rehabilitation has.been regarded as.one of the mos. important s.rategies.for managing patients.with AD. Herein, we provide a comprehens.ve analys.s.of the currently available findings.on exercis. rehabilitation in patients.with AD, with a focus.on the exercis. types.which have s.own efficacy when implemented alone or combined with other treatment methods. as.well as.the potential mechanis.s.underlying thes. pos.tive effects. s.ecifically, we explain how exercis. may improve the brain microenvironment and neuronal plas.icity. In conclus.on, exercis. is.a cos.-effective intervention to enhance cognitive performance and improve quality of life in patients.with mild to moderate cognitive dys.unction. Therefore, it can potentially become both a phys.cal activity and a tailored intervention. This.review may aid the development of more effective and individualized treatment s.rategies.to addres. the challenges.impos.d by this.debilitating dis.as., es.ecially in low-and middle-income countries.

Objective:To inves.igate a new noninvas.ve diagnos.ic model for nonalcoholic fatty liver dis.as.(NAFLD) bas.d on features.of tongue ***:Healthy controls.and volunteers.confirmed to have NAFLD by liver ultras.und were recruited from China-Japan Friends.ip Hos.ital between s.ptember 2018 and May 2019,then the anthropometric indexes.and s.mpled tongue images.were *** tongue images.were labeled by features.bas.d on a brief protocol,without knowing any other clinical data,after a s.ries.of corrections.and data *** algorithm was.trained on images.us.ng labels.and s.veral anthropometric indexes.for inputs.utilizing machine learning ***,a logis.ic regres.ion algorithm and a decis.on tree model were cons.ructed as.2 diagnos.ic models.for ***:A total of 720 s.bjects.were enrolled in this.s.udy,including 432 patients.with NAFLD and 288 healthy *** them,482 were randomly allocated into the training s.t and 238 into the validation *** diagnos.ic model bas.d on logis.ic regres.ion exhibited excellent performance:in validation s.t,it achieved an accuracy of 86.98%,s.ns.tivity of 91.43%,and s.ecificity of 80.61%;with an area under the curve(AUC) of 0.93 [95% confidence interval(CI) 0.68–0.98].The decis.on tree model achieved an accuracy of 81.09%,s.ns.tivity of 91.43%,and s.ecificity of 66.33%;with an AUC of 0.89(95% CI 0.66–0.92) in validation ***:The features.of tongue images.were as.ociated with *** the 2 diagnos.ic models.which would be convenient,noninvas.ve,lightweight,rapid,and inexpens.ve technical references.for early s.reening,can accurately dis.inguis.
