Abiotic stress reduces plant yield and *** transcription factors play key roles in abiotic stress responses in plants,but the molecular mechanisms by which WRKY transcription factors mediate responses to drought and osmotic stresses in apple(malus×domestica Borkh.)remain ***,we functionally characterized the apple GroupⅢWRKY gene ***-PCR analysis showed that MdWRKY115 expression was up-regulated by drought and osmotic *** activity analysis revealed that the promoter activity of MdWRKY115 was enhanced under osmotic *** localization and transactivation assays indicated that MdWRKY115 was localized to the nucleus and had a transcriptional activity domain at the N-terminal *** analysis revealed that the overexpression of MdWRKY115 in Arabidopsis plants and in apple callus markedly enhanced their tolerance to drought and osmotic *** affinity purification sequencing showed that MdWRKY115 binds to the promoter of the stress-related gene *** binding was further verified by an electrophoretic mobility shift ***,these findings suggest that MdWRKY115 is an important regulator of osmotic and drought stress tolerance in apple.

Renewable energy driven N_(2) electroreduction with air as nitrogen source holds great promise for realizing scalable green ammonia ***,relevant out-lab research is still in its ***,a novel Sn-based MXene/maX hybrid with abundant Sn vacancies,Sn@Ti_(2)CTX/Ti_(2)SnC–V,was synthesized by controlled etching Sn@Ti_(2)SnC maX phase and demonstrated as an efficient electrocatalyst for electrocatalytic N2 *** to the synergistic effect of MXene/maX heterostructure,the existence of Sn vacancies and the highly dispersed Sn active sites,the obtained Sn@Ti2CTX/Ti_(2)SnC–V exhibits an optimal NH_(3) yield of 28.4μg h^(−1) mg_(cat)^(−1) with an excellent FE of 15.57% at−0.4 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode in 0.1 M Na_(2)SO_(4),as well as an ultra-long ***,this catalyst represents a satisfactory NH3 yield rate of 10.53μg h^(−1) mg^(−1) in the home-made simulation device,where commercial electrochemical photovoltaic cell was employed as power source,air and ultrapure water as feed *** as-proposed strategy represents great potential toward ammonia production in terms of financial cost according to the systematic technical economic *** work is of significance for large-scale green ammonia production.

本文将电路模拟吸波阵列与玻璃纤维介质板(FEPL)阵列结合,采用真空热压成型工艺制备了一种具有超宽带强吸波性能的多层复合结构。整个FEPL阵列复合结构的表面密度约为2.4 kg/m^(2),厚度约为10.0 mm。仿真和测量结果均表明,FEPL阵列可以明显改善吸波结构的斜入射角的稳定性,提高电磁吸收率,拓宽吸收带宽。在斜入射角40°~60°范围内,FEPL阵列显著提高了吸波复合结构的吸收性能,同时将相对带宽(FBW)拓宽了约9.1%;此外,它还将复合吸波结构正入射角的平均反射系数从−14.4 dB降低到了−25.7 dB,降低了约11.3 dB。本文所提出的玻璃纤维板阵列增多层吸波复合结构性能优异,制备工艺简单,适合实际工程应用。

Optimized NPK fertilizer recommendations based on topsoil available nutrient criteria for wheat in drylands of China

The optimized management of crop fertilization is very important for improving crop yield and reducing the consumption of chemical *** nutrient values can be used for evaluating the nutritional status of a crop,and they reflect the nutrient concentrations above which the plant is sufficiently supplied for achieving the maximum potential *** on on-farm surveys of 504 farmers and 60 field experimental sites in the drylands of China,we proposed a recommended fertilization method to determine nitrogen(N),phosphorus(P),and potassium(K)fertilizer input rates for wheat production,and then validated the method by a field experiment at 66 different sites in northern *** results showed that wheat grain yield varied from 1.1 to 9.2 t ha^(-1),averaging 4.6 t ha^(-1),and it had a quadratic relationship with the topsoil(0-20 cm)nitrate N and soil available P contents at ***,yield was not correlated with the inputs of N,P,and K *** on the relationship(exponential decay model)between 95–105%of the relative yield and topsoil nitrate N,available P,and available K contents at wheat harvest from 60 field experiments,the topsoil critical nutrient values were determined as 34.6,15.6,and 150 mg kg^(-1)for soil nitrate N,available P,and available K,***,based on five groups of relative yield(>125%,115–125%,105–115%,95–105%,andlevels and fertilization coefficients(Fc)were ***,we proposed a new method for calculating the recommended fertilizer input rate as:Fr=Gy×Nr×Fc,where Fr is the recommended fertilizer(N/P/K)input rate;Gy is the potential grain yield;Nr is the N(N_(rN)),P(N_(rP)),and K(N_(rK))nutrient requirements for wheat to produce 1,000 kg of grain;and Fc is a coefficient for N(N_c)/P(P_c)/K(K_c)fertilizer.A 2-year validated experiment confirmed that the new method reduced N fertilizer input by 17.5%(38.5 kg N ha^(-1))and P fertilizer i

Fine mapping and characterization of a major QTL for grain length,***-2D.1,that has pleiotropic effects in synthetic allohexaploid wheat

Grain size is one of the determinants of grain yield,and identifying the genetic loci that control grain size will be helpful for increasing grain *** our previous study,a quantitative trait locus(QTL)for grain length(GL),***-2D.1,was identified from an F2 population developed from the cross between the natural(TAA10)and synthetic(XX329)allohexaploid *** the present study,we mainly fine mapped and validated its genetic *** this end,multiple near-isogenic lines(NILs)were obtained through marker-assisted selection with TAA10 as the recurrent *** secondary populations derived from 25 heterozygous recombinants were used for fine mapping of ***-2D.1,and the allele from XX329 significantly increased GL,thousand-grain weight(TGW),total spikelet number per spike(TSN)and spike compactness(SC).Using NILs for XX329(2D+)and TAA10(2D−),we determined the genetic and pleiotropic effects of *** target sequences were aligned with the wheat reference genome RefSeq v2.1 and spanned an~0.9 Mb genomic ***2D03G0114900(ortholog of Os03g0594700)was predicted as the candidate gene based on whole-genome re-sequencing and expression *** summary,the map-based cloning of ***-2D.1 will be useful for improving grain weight with enhanced GL and TSN.

Epitranscriptomics focuses on the RNA-modification-mediated post-transcriptional regulation of gene *** past decade has witnessed tremendous progress in our understanding of the landscapes and biological functions of RNA modifications,as prompted by the emergence of potent analytical *** hematopoietic system provides a lifelong supply of blood cells,and gene expression is tightly controlled during the differentiation of hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs).The dysregulation of gene expression during hematopoiesis may lead to severe disorders,including acute myeloid leukemia(AML).Emerging evidence supports the involvement of the mRNA modification system in normal hematopoiesis and AML pathogenesis,which has led to the development of small-molecule inhibitors that target N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)modification machinery as ***,we summarize the latest findings and our most up-to-date information on the roles of m^(6)A and N7-methylguanine in both physiological and pathological conditions in the hematopoietic ***,we will discuss the therapeutic potential and limitations of cancer treatments targeting m^(6)A.
