Two critical parameters:Glossiness and chromaticity space of pearlescent pigments were evaluated based on crystallinity and grain *** the roughness and the vertical distance evolution along the surface of deposited TiO_(2)film are affected by the *** optimal crystallinity of TiO_(2)was deposited at the temperature of 350℃.The TiCl4 concentration effectively changed the grain ***,the high flow rate of fluidizing gas and optimal gas–solid ratio(<0.11 m^(3)/(kg h))restricted the change of TiCl_(4)concentrations in fluidized bed *** this case,the grain size of the deposited TiO_(2)film was about 55 *** on the grain size,the color of pearlescent pigments was adjusted by controlling the film thickness based on TiO_(2)***,the silver pearlescent pigment with high glossiness was prepared by chemical vapor deposition method in a fluidized bed reactor.

Macrophages,a heterogeneous population of innate immune cells,exhibit remarkable plasticity and play pivotal roles in coordinating immune responses and maintaining tissue homeostasis within the context of metabolic *** activation of inflammatory macrophages in obese adipose tissue leads to detrimental effects,inducing insulin resistance through increased inflammation,impaired thermogenesis,and adipose tissue ***,adipose tissue macrophages also play a beneficial role in maintaining adipose tissue homeostasis by regulating angiogenesis,facilitating the clearance of dead adipocytes,and promoting mitochondrial *** the heterogeneity of macrophages in obese adipose tissue is crucial for unraveling the pathogenesis of obesity and holds significant potential for targeted therapeutic ***,the dual effects and some potential regulatory mechanisms of macrophages in adipose tissue have been elucidated using single-cell *** this review,we present a comprehensive overview of the intricate activation mechanisms and diverse functions of macrophages in adipose tissue during obesity,as well as explore the potential of drug delivery systems targeting macrophages,aiming to enhance the understanding of current regulatory mechanisms that may be potentially targeted for treating obesity or metabolic diseases.

A novel Cu?6.5Ni?1Al?1Si?0.15Mg?0.15Ce alloy with super-high strength was designed and its corrosion behavior in3.5%NaCl solution at25°C was investigated by the means of SEM observation,TEM observation and XPS *** alloy after solution treatment,80%cold rolling and aging at450°C for1h had the best comprehensive properties with hardness of HV314,electrical conductivity of19.4%IACS,tensile strength of1017MPa,and average annual corrosion rate of0.028mm/*** oxides and chloride products formed at first,followed by the formation of dyroxides *** alloy showed super-high strength,good electrical conductivity and corrosion resistant because Ni2Si hindered the precipitation of large NiAl at the grain boundary and the denickelefication of the alloy.

In order to analyze the influence of the addition of yttrium and manganese on the soot combustion performance and high temperature stability of CeO_(2) catalyst,a series of Y/Mn-modified CeO_(2) catalysts were *** effects of structural properties,textural properties,oxygen vacancies,Ce^(3+),surface adsorbed oxygen species,reduction properties and desorption properties of oxygen species on the activity were analyzed by various characterization *** results of the activity test show that the addition of manganese is beneficial to enhancement of the activity,while the addition of yttrium increases the amount of reactive oxygen species,but decreases the *** aging at 700℃,the activity of the CeMn catalyst decreases most sharply,while the catalytic activity of the CeY catalyst can be maintained to a certain ***,the addition of yttrium and manganese at the same time can stabilize the *** fundamental reason is that yttrium and manganese move to the surface of the solid solution after aging,which increases the reduction performance of the catalyst,thus contributing to the increase of *** the activity of CeYMn catalyst decreases after aging at 800℃,it is still higher than that of other catalysts aged at 700℃.

Prevalence of Cannabis Use around the World:A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,2000-2024

This study aims to perform a systematic review and meta-analysis on the global prevalence of cannabis use to inform drug prevention strategies,policy-making,and resource *** study initially screened 177,843 studies published between January 1,2000,and January 15,2024,using peer-reviewed databases including Web of Science,PubMed,Scopus,Embase,and Cochrane ***,595 studies were identified for data extraction,and 39 of these were selected as country-representative *** among the selected studies was assessed using the chi-squared test and I2 statistic,while sensitivity analysis was conducted to evaluate the robustness of the *** prevalence of cannabis use varied between 0.42%and 43.90%across 33 European countries,1.40%to 38.12%across 15 North and South American countries,0.30%to 19.10%across 16 Asian countries,and 1.30%to 48.70%across 18 Oceania and African *** pooled prevalence of cannabis use was 12.0%[95%confidence interval(CI):10.0,14.3]in countries where cannabis is legalized,compared to 5.4%(95%CI:4.3,6.9)in non-legalized *** findings indicate that the prevalence of cannabis use has disproportionately increased in most countries with the implementation of medical or recreational cannabis legalization policies and relevant geographic *** efforts are needed to monitor newly cannabis-legalized countries and prevent initial use.

Anthropogenic revegetation is an effective way to control soil erosion and restore degraded ecosystems in China's northwest drylands(NWD).However,excessive vegetation cover expansion has long been known to increase evapotranspiration,leading to reduced local water availability,which can in turn threaten the health and services of restored *** the optimal vegetation coverage(OVC)is critical for balancing the trade-off between plant growth and water consumption in water-stressed areas,yet quantitative assessments over the entire NWD are still *** this study,a modified Biome BioGeochemical Cycles(Biome-BGC)model was used to simulate the long-term(1961–2020)dynamics of actual evapotranspiration(ET_(a)),net primary productivity(NPP),and leaf area index(LAI)for the dominant non-native tree(*** and ***)and shrub(*** and ***)species at 246 meteorological sites over *** modified model incorporated the Richards equation to simulate transient unsaturated water flow in a multilayer soil module,and both soil and eco-physiological parameters required by the model were validated using field-observed ETadata for each *** distributions of OVC(given by the mean maximum LAI,LAI_(max))for the dominant species were determined within three hydrogeomorphic sub-areas(i.e.,the loess hilly-gully sub-area,the windy and sandy sub-area,and the desert sub-area).The modified Biome-BGC model performed well in terms of simulating ET_(a) dynamics for the four plant *** distributions of mean ET_a,NPP,and LAI_(max)generally exhibited patterns similar to mean annual precipitation(MAP).In the loess hilly-gully sub-area(MAP:210 to 710 mm),the OVC respectively ranged from 1.7 to 2.9 and 0.8 to 2.9 for *** and *** the windy and sandy sub-area(MAP:135 to 500 mm),the OVC ranged from 0.3 to 3.3,0.5 to 2.6 and 0.6 to 2.1for ***,*** and ***,*** the desert sub-

Study of the Ballistic Impact Behavior of Protective Multi-Layer Composite Armor

Background : Tracheal malformation is a rare congenital condition that usually presents as an unexpected lifethreatening emergency during resuscitation of a newborn in the delivery *** presentation: A case of a patient who failed to survive after successful endotracheal intubation with antenatally unknown malformation and thereafter identified as tracheal agenesis by computerized tomography(CT) ***: This is a rare case of tracheal malformation with pulmonary agenesis. The dignosis of tracheal malformation was not able to be timely enough due to its relatively low position which had no impact on a successful procedure of intubation. We narrated the process of resuscitation and examination of this newborn, and discussed the diagnosis and management of it.

Multi-energy systems are one of the key technologies to tackle energy crisis and environmental *** energy hub(EH)is a minimum multi-energy *** of multiple EHs through energy routers(ERs)can realize mutual energy *** paper proposes a peer-to-peer(P2P)energy sharing strategy between EHs including ERs in an interconnected system,which is divided into two *** the lower level,a method of determining the charging/discharging constraints of energy storage devices is *** on the Lyapunov optimization method,virtual queues are used to model the energy storage devices and flexible loads in the *** objective is to minimize the overall operating cost of the interconnected *** the upper level,a non-cooperative game model is introduced to minimize the cost of purchasing power from other EHs for each EH.A best response-based method is adapted to find the Nash *** simulation outcomes demonstrate that application of the proposed strategy can reduce operating costs of an interconnected system and each *** basis of a real-world dataset of interconnected EHs,both analytical and numerical results show the effectiveness of the proposed strategy.
