Constructing the metabolic network of wheat kernels based on structure-guided chemical modification and multi-omics data

Metabolic network construction plays a pivotal role in unraveling the regulatory mechanism of biological activities,although it often proves to be challenging and labor-intensive,particularly with non-model *** this study,we develop a computational approach that employs reaction models based on the structure-guided chemical modification and related compounds to construct a metabolic network in *** construction results in a comprehensive structure-guided network,including 625 identified metabolites and additional 333 putative reactions compared with the Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes *** a combination of gene annotation,reaction classification,structure similarity,and correlations from transcriptome and metabolome analysis,a total of 229 potential genes related to these reactions are identified within this *** validate the network,the functionality of a hydroxycinnamoyltransferase(TraesCS3D01.31.900)for the synthesis of polyphenols and a rhamnosyltransferase(TraesCS2D01.078700)for the modification of flavonoids are verified through in vitro enzymatic studies and wheat mutant tests,*** research thus supports the utility of structure-guided chemical modification as an effective tool in identifying causal candidate genes for constructing metabolic networks and further in metabolomic genetic studies.

In this paper, we focus on the power allocation of Integrated Sensing and Communication(ISAC) with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) waveform. In order to improve the spectrum utilization efficiency in ISAC, we propose a design scheme based on spectrum sharing, that is,to maximize the mutual information(MI) of radar sensing while ensuring certain communication rate and transmission power constraints. In the proposed scheme, three cases are considered for the scattering off the target due to the communication signals,as negligible signal, beneficial signal, and interference signal to radar sensing, respectively, thus requiring three power allocation schemes. However,the corresponding power allocation schemes are nonconvex and their closed-form solutions are unavailable as a consequence. Motivated by this, alternating optimization(AO), sequence convex programming(SCP) and Lagrange multiplier are individually combined for three suboptimal solutions corresponding with three power allocation schemes. By combining the three algorithms, we transform the non-convex problem which is difficult to deal with into a convex problem which is easy to solve and obtain the suboptimal solution of the corresponding optimization problem. Numerical results show that, compared with the allocation results of the existing algorithms, the proposed joint design algorithm significantly improves the radar performance.

Aluminosilicate small pore zeolites belonging to ABC-6 family play crucially important roles in the high methanol conversion with the high selectivity of light olefins,gas separation and storage,and selective catalytic reduction of NO_(x).In this work,we report a general method,called the epitaxial growth approach,for designing ABC-6 family small pore *** is mainly realized through the epitaxial growth on the nonporous SOD-type zeolite in the presence of inorganic cations(Na^(+)and K^(+))combined with a variety of organic structure directing agents(OSDAs).In this case,a series of ABC-6 family small pore zeolites such as ERI-,SWY-,LEV-,AFX-,and PTT-type zeolites have been successfully synthesized within a few *** importantly,the advanced focused ion beam(FIB)and the low-dose high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM)imaging technique have been utilized for unraveling the zeolite heterojunction at the atomic level during the epitaxial growth *** turns out(222)crystallographic planes of the SOD-type zeolite substrate provide unique pre-building units,which facilitate the growth of targeted ABC-6 family small pore zeolites along its ***,the morphologies of ERI-type zeolite can also be tuned through the epitaxial growth approach,achieving a longer lifetime in the methanol conversion.

Disaster information content is an objective mapping of disaster situations,social response,and public *** response to emergency is an important mechanism for implementing and guaranteeing emergency management of major natural hazard-related *** how disaster information content affects social response to emergencies is helpful for managing risk communication and efficient disaster *** on the 2008 freezing-rain and snowstorm disasters in southern China,this study used Python to extract 7,857 case-related media reports and applied natural language processing for text *** used three typical cases to identify and analyze disaster media report content and the relationship between these reports and the social response to the *** categories of disaster response-such as prewarning and forecasting,announcements by the authorities,and social mobilization-appeared in the disaster information in the media,along with disaster impact information,that is,real-time disaster *** response information and an appropriate amount of disaster impact information played important roles in prewarning,disaster relief,public opinion guidance,and social stability maintenance and can serve important functions in communicating with all stakeholders of emergency management,assisting or influencing emergency departments or individuals in decision making,and eliminating "information islands." Empathy caused the general public to become "disaster responders" through receiving *** and an excess of negative information may have a perverse amplification effect on public opinion and increase the unpredictability of the disaster situation and the risk of social crisis.

The establishment of a low-cost and facile approach for the assay of acid phosphatase(ACP)and its inhibitor is a research *** this paper,we successfully synthesized NiCo_(2)O_(4)nanosheets with peroxidase-mimicking activity in alkaline deep eutectic solvents(DESs)composed of NaOH and PEG-200,which can catalyze 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine(TMB)to the oxidation state TMB(ox-TMB)in the presence of *** to L-ascorbic acid-2-phosphate can be hydrolyzed into ascorbic acid by ACP,the peroxidase-like activity of NiCo_(2)O_(4)nanosheets is ***,the addition of malathion,an inhibitor of ACP,can inhibit the activity of ACP and thus limit the production of ascorbic acid(AA).Therefore,a colorimetric approach can be established for highly sensitive and selective detection of ACP and malathion with detection limits of 0.032 U/L and 0.65 nmol/L,*** importantly,this method can be successfully applied to malathion detection in environmental samples tap water and food cucumber juice,indicating that it has potential application prospects in environmental and agricultural fields.

Palladium-catalyzed Mizoroki-Heck reaction is a powerful and efficient method for construction of Csp2–Csp2 ***,four palladium complexes(I—IV)with N,O-bidentate ligands(L1.L4)based on N-oxide units from cyclic secondary amines were easily synthesized and successfully applied in Mizoroki-Heck reaction of aryl bromides with electron-deficient olefins.X-ray diffraction analyses indicated the palladium(II)atom of II took the distorted square planar geometry and was four-coordinated by nitrogen and oxygen atoms from two ligands(L2).Two free chloride ions were presented as counter anions in complex *** the palladium(II)center of IV was coordinated by nitrogen and oxygen atoms from one ligand(L4)as well as two chlorine atoms,which exhibited the nearly square-planar *** study on catalytic properties of palladium complexes revealed that complex II exhibited high activity superior to the other *** coupling reactions of a series of aryl bromides and olefin derivatives proceeded in the presence of 2—5 mol%palladium complex II,giving the desired products in good to excellent *** advantages of this method such as good compatibility of functional groups,high yields,and short reaction times made it more attractive for constructing Csp2–Csp2 bonds in the synthesis of functional molecules and materials.
