A mathematical model based on the Lucas-Washburn equation has been developed to address the relationships between capillary height,capillary radius and heat flux in a capillary *** stability criteria at the interface are studied in detail by introducing a small perturbation to the interfaces of the capillary *** formulae deduced as a consequence are used to analyze the influence of height of the capillary wick and the stability in a capillary loop undergoing phase changes.

Porphyry Cu(Mo-Au)deposit is one of the most important types of copper deposit and usually formed under magmatic arc-related settings,whilst the Mujicun porphyry Cu-Mo deposit in North China Craton uncommonly generated within intra-continental *** previous studies have focused on the age,origin and ore genesis of the Mujicun deposit,the ore-forming age,magma source and tectonic evolution remain ***,this study targeted rutile(TiO_(2))in the ore-hosting diorite porphyry from the Mujicun Cu-Mo deposit to conduct in situ U-Pb dating and trace element composition studies,with major views to determine the timing and magma evolution and to provide new insights into porphyry Cu-Mo *** trace element data show flat-like REE patterns characterized by relatively enrichment LREEs and depleted HREEs,which could be identified as magmatic *** U-Pb dating yields lower intercept ages of 139.3–138.4 Ma,interpreted as post magmatic cooling timing below about 500℃,which are consistent or slightly postdate with the published zircon U-Pb ages of diorite porphyry(144.1–141.7 Ma)and skarn(146.2 Ma;139.9 Ma)as well as the molybdenite Re-Os ages of molybdenum ores(144.8–140.0 Ma).Given that the overlap between the closure temperature of rutile U-Pb system and ore-forming temperature of the Mujicun deposit,this study suggests that the ore-forming ages of the Mujicun deposit can be constrained at 139.3–138.4 Ma,with temporal links to the late large-scale granitic magmatism at 138–126 Ma in the Taihang *** on the Mg and Al contents in rutile,the magma of ore-hosting diorite porphyry was suggested to be derived from crust-mantle mixing *** conjunction with previous studies in Taihang Orogen,this study proposes that the far-field effect and the rollback of the subducting Paleo-Pacific slab triggered lithospheric extension,asthenosphere upwelling,crust-mantle interaction and thermo-mechanical erosion,which jointly facilitated

In this paper,a predictive sliding mode control method based on multi-sensor fusion is proposed to solve the problem of insufficient accuracy in trajectory tracking caused by actuator *** controller,based on the kinematics model,uses an inner and outer two-layer structure to achieve decoupling of position control and heading control.A reference positional change rate is introduced into the design of controller,making the automatic guided vehicle(AGV)capable of real-time predictive control ability.A stability analysis and a proof of predictive sliding mode control theory are *** experimental results show that the new control algorithm can improve the performance of the AGV controller by referring to the positional change rate,thereby improving the AGV operation without derailing.

Nanoparticle reinforced nickel matrix composite coatings, such as n-Al2O3/Ni, n-SiO2/Ni, n-SiC/Ni and n-TiO2/Ni, were fabricated by brush plating technique. Hardness, wear resistance and contact-fatigue resistance of the composite coatings were determined, and strengthening mechanism of the composite coatings was discussed. Results show that the composite coatings have superior properties to the Ni metal coating. Compared with properties of brush plated Ni metal coating, the composite coatings have hardness over 1.5 times and wear resistance capability of about 2.5 times. The strengthening mechanism of the composite coatings mainly includes fine-crystal grain effect, nanoparticle dispersion effect and dislocation effect.

CuInS2 semiconductor nanocrystals (NCs) exhibit large absorption coefficient, size-dependent photoluminescence and low toxicity, making them excellent candidates in a variety of bioapplications. However, precise control of both their composition and morphology to improve the luminescent efficiency remains a great challenge via conventional direct synthesis. Herein, we present a novel low-temperature template synthesis of highly efficient luminescent CuInS2 nanoprobes from In2S3 NCs via a facile cation exchange strategy. The proposed strategy enables synthesis of a series of CuInS2 NCs with broad size tunability from 2.2 to 29.6 nm. Through rationally manipulating the stoichiometry of Cu/In, highly efficient luminescence of CuInS2 with the maximum quantum yield of 28.6% has been achieved, which is about one order of magnitude improvement relative to that of directly synthesized NCs. By virtue of the intense emission of CuInS2 nanoprobes, we exemplify their application in sensitive homogeneous biodetection for an important biomolecule of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) with the limit of detection down to 49.3 nM. Moreover, the CuInS2 nanoprobes are explored for ATP-targeted cancer cell imaging, thus revealing their great potentials in the field of cancer diagnosis and prognosis.

High performance flexible pressure sensors have received tremendous attention due to the potential applications in wearable electronics and humanoid ***,a low-cost,time-saving fabrication strategy is reported to efficiently construct highly sensitive and scalable pressure sensors based on *** flexible pressure sensor was prepared through a dip coating approach where the graphene ink was used as the active material and textile with ordered network structure,serves as the flexible support *** increasing the number of layers of the textile,the pressure sensor could achieve a high linear sensitivity value of 0.23 kPa;,a broad pressure range from 0 to 140 kPa,and a durability over 800 *** was found that the network structure of the graphene-textile contributed to the enhancement of the sensing performance due to the piezoresistive effect resulting from the deformation of conductive ***,by virtue of its exceptional properties,it is demonstrate that the high performance flexible pressure sensor could be further used to detect human physiological signals,such as wrist pulse,finger press detection and walking state monitoring,indicating its promising potential to flexible and wearable electronics.

Bone adhesive is a promising material for the treatment of bone fractures,which is helpful for the fast and effective reduction and fixation of broken ***,the existing adhesives bond weakly to bone tissues,and are non-absorbable,or hard to cure under wet ***,inspired by the cement-based adhesive used in the industry field,we report a bioactive calcium and magnesium phosphate bone adhesive(MPBA)with the properties of facile preparation,robust adhesion,and *** is equipped with similar strength to cancellous bones and shows reliable bonding performance for various interfaces,such as Ti6Al4V,Al2O3,and poly(ether-ether-ketone).MPBA achieves excellent bonding ability for the above interfaces with the bonding strengths of 2.28±0.47,2.32±0.15,and 1.44±0.38 MPa,***,it also shows reliable fixation ability for bovine bone *** bonding behavior to materials and bones suggests that MPBA could be used for both fracture treatment and implant ***,MPBA possesses good biological activity,which could promote the vascularization process and osteogenic ***,in vivo experiments confirmed MPBA can effectively restore bone strength and promote bone regeneration.

By combining the advantages of desiccant dehumidification and vapor compression refrigeration,the desiccant-coated heat exchanger-based heat pump(DCHE HP)is regarded as a promising alternative to the traditional vapor-compression air conditioning system(VCAC).Selecting proper desiccants from a large number of candidates is of great importance to improve the performance of DCHE ***,this task is challenging using current experimental or modelling *** this work,we developed an equilibrium model to evaluate the power consumption of 39 DCHE HPs coated with different desiccants under various operating ***,five desiccants with low power consumption were *** was also demonstrated that under given operating conditions,the DCHE HP based on the five selected desiccants can save 21.3%–32.9%power compared with the *** power consumption of the DCHE HP is largely dependent on the heat of adsorption,the cyclical water uptakes and the remained moisture contents of the coating *** was further revealed that the moderate heat of adsorption,the larger cyclical water uptake and the lower remained moisture content are preferable for reducing the system energy *** work reported a quick evaluation of 39 desiccants for DCHE HP by an equilibrium model,which may also offer insights into the choosing and designing of desiccants for DCHE HP.
