The effects of rare-earth yttrium(Y)element on the microstructure,mechanical properties and corrosion properties of 20Cr13 martensitic stainless steel were investigated by optical microscopy,scanning electron microscopy and tensile *** experiments were carried out to study the effect of rare-earth element Y addition on corrosion *** results showed that the addition of 0.02 wt.%rare-earth yttrium to martensitic stainless steel could affect the microstructure transformation,and Ac3 temperature was obviously *** the stainless steel after heat treatment,there were more pro-eutectoid ferrite in the steel with 0.02 wt.%*** mechanical test results showed that the addition of 0.02 wt.%yttrium could significantly improve the tensile strength and elongation of the steel,which was related to the influence of yttrium element on inclusions in the test *** the quenching temperature of 0.02 wt.%yttrium steel increasing,the content of the ferrite in steel was affected and the corrosion resistance was remarkably improved.

Strategy of Sb-substitution is carried out on the template structure Na4Sn0.67M0.33S4(M=Si,Ge),which affords a series of quinary sulfide-based sodium fast ionic conductors formulated as Na4-x[Sn0.67M0.33]1-xSbxS4(M=Si,x=0.1,0.2,0.3;M=Ge,x=0.2.).Among them,the highest ambient ionic conductivity(1.75×10^-4 S cm^-1)is achieved when M=Si and x=*** new fast ionic conductor Na3.8[Sn0.67Si0.33]0.8Sb0.2S4 is isostructural to its structure template Na4Sn0.67Si0.33S4 and thus crystallizes in the space group of I41/*** is shown that the incorporation of Sb improves the ionic *** study of lattice parameters shows that the improvement of the ion conductivity by Sbsubstitution is mainly due to the enlarged crystal ***,using Na3.8[Sn0.67Si0.33]0.8Sb0.2S4as solid electrolytes,room temperature all-solid-state sodium battery of Se0.05S0.95@pPAN/Na3Sn is realized,which proves the novel fast ionic conductor a potential candidate to apply in sodium solid state *** work not only extends the scope of Na4[Sn0.67Si0.33]S4,the I41/acd space group template,but also deepens the understanding of the lattice size effect on the structure and property relationship by aliovalent substitution.

Molecular materials showing synergetic coupling of near-infrared （NIR） fluorescence and spin-crossover （SCO） are promisingly applicable in in-vivo bioimaging,temperature sensing,and spintronic *** the related study faces formidable *** this work we graft the NIR fluorophore xanthene onto the dipyridyl substituted triazole ligand and construct a new Febased SCO material,{FeⅡ（ddxc-abpt）2[N（CN）2]2}(1,ddxc-abpt:（E）-4-(((3,5-di（pyridin-2-yl）-4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)imino)methyl)-N,N-diethyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-xanthen-6-amine).Magnetic studies indicate that compound 1 exhibits thermally induced SCO property in both the solid and solution ***-temperature fluorescence emission spectra reveal a remarkable 7-fold increase in photoluminescence intensity upon the transition from the low-spin state at 110 K to the high-spin state at 280 K,which is the record of all reported coupled fluorescence-SCO ***-temperature ultraviolet-visible （UV-Vis）absorption spectra show a significant change in absorption intensity within the fluorescence emission window,consistent with the F?rster resonance energy transfer （FRET） ***-dependent density functional theory （TD-DFT） calculations demonstrate that the strong coupling is attributed to disrupted energy transfer between the xanthene fluorophore and high-spin *** work provides a feasible approach for expanding the synergetic SCO-fluorescence materials to the NIR-Iwavelength region,and hopefully contributes to the applications of tunable NIR-SCO molecule-based sensors and devices.

Effect of Seed Sizes on Growth of Large Synthetic Diamond Crystals

For the growth of large synthetic diamond crystals by temperature gradient method （TGM）, the grit sizes of seed crystals have great effects on the growth rate and quality of large grown crystals. Because of the limited area of seed surfaces, the maximum diffusion flux of carbon source, which could be absorbed by the seed, is related to the seed size. And with increasing the seed sizes, the growth rates also increase markedly. However, the seed sizes should be lower than a certain value, which determines the crystal quality directly. For example, with NiMnCo alloy as the metal solvent, when the seed size increases from 0.5 to 1.8 mm, the growth rate increases greatly from about 1.1 to 3.2 mg/h; when the size is beyond 2.0 mm, more and more metal inclusions would be incorporated into the grown crystals, and the crystal quality is destroyed heavily. Finite element analysis （FEA） shows that, due to the special assembly of growth cell, the diffusion of carbon source in the metal solvent is very inhomogeneous, which could be substantiated directly by the appearances and shapes of large grown crystals and the remains of carbon source. And this inhomogeneous diffusion of carbon source would be very harmful to the growth of large diamond crystals, especially when large-size seed crystals are used.

The microstructure, mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of 30Cr13 martensitic stainless steel (MSS) with different Nb contents were investigated by using the optical microscope, scanning electron microscope, X-ray diffractometer, HRC hardness measurement apparatus and tensile testing machine. Nb was found to retard the formation of austenite and promote the precipitation of carbides by calculating. The results showed that the addition of 0.2 wt.% Nb elements could improve the strength and corrosion resistance of 30Cr13 martensitic stainless steels while the reduction in toughness was less because of the inhibited effect on Cr-rich carbides precipitation by Nb addition. Specially, M23C6-type carbides almost disappeared in 0.6Nb-MSS. Moreover, the main existent form of Nb element was NbC and the strong carbide-forming ability of Nb element increased the quantity of carbides with the morphology changing from sphericaltype to chain-type. 0.2Nb-MSS shows excellent strength, adequate toughness and sufficient corrosion resistance for the application.

FGH 95 is a powder metallurgy （P/M） processed superalloy, which was developed in the 1980s in China. One of the applications of FGH 95 was high pressure turbine blade retainers. The manufacturing processes used to produce FGH 95 blade retainers consisted of atomization by plasma rotating electrode process （PREP）, hot isostatic pressing （HIP） at super-solvus temperature and a sub-solvus solution heat treatment. The material had an equiaxed grain structure （ASTM 6.5-7.5）. The γ precipitates in as-HIP FGH 95 showed a tri-model distribution. Carbides in the alloy were MC type and precipitated at grain boundaries. The prior particle boundaries （PPB） in the material originated mainly from γ＇ phase. Statistics of the mechanical properties data from batch production of the FGH 95 blade retainers were investigated. The as-HIP FGH 95 blade retainers showed high strength at room temperature and 650 ℃, excellent creep resistance and outstanding stress rupture strength at 650 ℃.

Numerical Investigations on the Transient Behavior of Sand Waves in Beibu Gulf Under Normal and Extreme Sea Conditions

In this study, a morphodynamic numerical model is established with the Regional Ocean Modeling System(ROMS)to investigate the transient behavior of sand waves under realistic sea conditions. The simulation of sand wave evolution comprises two steps: 1) a regional-scale model is configured first to simulate the ocean hydrodynamics, i.e., tides and tidal currents, and 2) the transient behavior of sand waves is simulated in a small computational domain under the time-variant currents extracted from the large model. The evolution of sand waves on the continental shelf in the Beibu Gulf is specifically investigated. The numerical results of the two-year evolution of sand waves under normal sea conditions compare well with the field survey data. The transient behavior of sand waves in individual months shows that the sand waves are more stable in April and October than that in other months, which can be selected as the windows for seabed operations. The effects of sediment properties, including settling velocity, critical shear stress and surface erosion rate, on sand wave evolution are also analyzed. Then, the typhoon-induced currents are further superimposed on the tidal currents as the extreme weather conditions. Sand waves with the average wavelength generally have more active behavior than smaller or larger sand waves. The characteristics of the evolution of sand waves in an individual typhoon process are quite different for different hydrodynamic combinations. For the storm conditions, i.e., the real combination and maximum combination cases, the sand waves experience a significant migration together with a damping in height due to the dominant suspended sediment transport. For the mild conditions, i.e., the pure tidal current and minimum combination cases, the sand waves migrate less, but the heights continue growing due to the dominant bedload transport.

Multicomponent crystalline materials construct more complex and diversified structures with different combinations and modes,which expands the material structure space and application *** this work,we have successfully synthesized two twocomponent ionic hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks （iHOF-32 and iHOF-33） and a three-component iHOF （iHOF-34）.Guanidine hydrochloride which is rich in N and H and has a short chain length strengthens the hydrogen bonding network of iHOF,thereby aiding in the efficient migration of *** rigid architecture of 1,1'-diamino-4,4'-bipyridine diiodide furnishes additional scaffolding for the iHOFs and enhances its robustness under harsh ***-34 accomplishes the combination of the ultra-high proton conductivity of iHOF-32 and the robustness of iHOF-33 by the synergistic interaction among the three components of *** addition,iHOF-34 was fabricated as a composite membrane with a peak proton conductivity of 1.55×10-1S cm-1,which is 3.8 times higher than that of recast Nafion,and has extensive potential in fuel *** self-assembly strategy of multicomponent HOFs opens up new avenues for constructing diverse structures while promising new opportunities for applications in the fields of proton conduction and energy storage.
