Direct synthesis of tin spheres/nitrogen-doped porous carbon composite by self-formed template method for enhanced lithium storage

To inhibit the agglomeration of tin-based nanomaterials and simplify the complicated synthesis process,a facile and eco-friendly self-formed template method is reported to synthesize tin submicron spheres dispersed in nitrogen-doped porous carbon(Sn/NPC)by pyrolysis of a mixture of disodium stannous citrate and *** vital point of this strategy is the formation of Na_(2)CO_(3)templates during *** self-formed Na_(2)CO_(3)acts as porous templates to support the formation of *** obtained NPC provides good electronic conductivity,ample defects,and more active *** as anode for Li-ion batteries,the Sn/NPC electrode obtains a stable discharge capacity of 674.1 mAh/g after 150 cycles at 0.1 A/***,a high discharge capacity of 331.2 mAh/g can be achieved after 1100 cycles at 3 A/***,a full cell coupled with LiCoO_(2)as cathode yields a discharge capacity of 524.8 mAh/g after 150 cycles at 0.1 A/***-situ XRD is implemented to investigate the alloying/dealloying reaction *** functional theory calculation ulteriorly explicates that NPC heightens intrinsic electronic conductivity,and NPC especially pyrrolic-N and pyridinic-N doping facilitates the Li-adsorption *** image nudged elastic band method reveals low Li~+diffusion energy barrier in presence of N atoms,which accounts for the terrific electrochemical properties of Sn/NPC electrode.

Interplay between creeping fat and gut microbiota: A brand-new perspective on fecal microbiota transplantation in Crohn's disease

Inflammatory bowel disease,particularly Crohn's disease(CD),has been linked to modifications in mesenteric adipose tissue(MAT)and the phenomenon known as"creeping fat"(CrF).The presence of CrF is believed to serve as a predictor for early clinical recurrence following surgical intervention in patients with ***,the incorporation of the mesentery during ileocolic resection for CD has been correlated with a decrease in surgical recurrence,indicating the significant role of MAT in the pathogenesis of *** numerous studies have indicated that dysbiosis of the gut microbiota is a critical factor in the development of CD,the functional implications of translocated microbiota within the MAT of CD patients remain *** manuscript commentary discusses a recent basic research conducted by Wu et *** their study,intestinal bacteria from individuals were transplanted into CD model mice,revealing that fecal microbiota trans-plantation(FMT)from healthy donors alleviated CD symptoms,whereas FMT from CD patients exacerbated these ***,FMT was found to affect intestinal permeability,barrier function,and the levels of proinflammatory factors and ***,these findings suggest that targeting MAT and CrF may hold therapeutic potential for patients with ***,the study did not evaluate the composition of the intestinal microbiota of the donors or the subsequent alterations in the gut ***,the gut microbiota plays a crucial role in the histopathology of CD,and thus,targeting MAT and CrF may represent a promising avenue for treatment in this patient population.

Determination of groundwater flow regimes based on the spatial non-local distribution of hydraulic gradient:Model and validation

The groundwater flow in natural aquifers can change from the Darcy flow to the non-Darcian flow due to a variety of causes,such as the increase of the Reynolds number in the highly permeable media or the decrease of the hydraulic gradient below a threshold in the low-permeability media,while the representative flow regime cannot be reliably determined using the traditional *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a new term called the equivalent hydraulic gradient(EHG)by generalizing the differential form of the Darcy’s law using a spatial integral of the upstream hydraulic *** nonlocal spatial variation of the hydraulic head difference between upstream and downstream zones is assumed to be the potential cause of the transition of the groundwater flow *** assumption is analogous to the common assumption used for quantifying the anomalous pollutant transport in the geological *** of this idea show that the EHG concept could distinguish three main flow regimes,namely the Super-Darcy flow,the Darcy flow,and the Sub-Darcy flow,although the Super-Darcy flow regime is rarely observed in the laboratory column flow *** of this study therefore shed lights on the interpretation of the fundamental dynamics of the groundwater moving in various heterogeneous aquifers,and may lead to the rebuilding of the hydrodynamics of the surface water,the groundwater,and the soil.

Preparation and properties of a double quaternary ammonium copolymer used in acid fracturing

Triethylamine(TEA),1,4-dibromobutane(C4H8Br2)and N,N-dimethylaminopropyl acrylamide(DMAPAA)were selected to synthesize a double quaternary ammonium cationic monomer(TDD).TDD,acrylamide(AM),2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid(AMPS)and acrylic acid(AA)were used to create a quadripolymer(PAAT)that was characterized by FT-IR and ^(1)H *** that,the basic performance of thickened acid was *** results revealed that PAAT outperformed PAA(copolymerized by AM,AMPS and AA)in terms of acid solubility,thickening performance,temperature resistance and shear ***,this crosslinked acid containing PAAT was subjected to a series of performance *** viscosity of the crosslinked acid could be kept at 67 mPa$s at 160C after 90 min and the weight loss rate of crosslinked acid in acid-rock reaction at 60 min was 23%,indicating the temperature resistance and retarder performance of the crosslinked acid solution was significantly better than that of the thickening acid and the blank acid.A scanning electron microscopy experiment revealed that crosslinked acid has good corrosion ability and low damage to the *** above experimental results indicated that the thickener PAAT has a promising future application in acid fracturing of high-temperature and high-mineralization carbonate reservoirs.

Quantum chemical study on the abstraction reaction of alkylidenegermylene with oxirane and thiirane

The mechanisms of the abstraction reaction of alkylidenegermylene with oxirane and thiirane have been characterized detail in using density functional theory, as well as ab initio method, including geometry optimization and vibrational analysis for the involved stationary points on the potential energy surface. Energies were calculated by CCSD(T)/6-311G(d)//B3LYP/6-311G(d,p) method for the involved conformations. The results show that the reaction pathways for both reactions consist of two ways: (1) the reactants can yield bent products (P1; P4) by syn-isomers; (2) the reactants can also yield three-membered products (P2; P5) by anti-isomers, which then further react with oxirane and thiirane to form the ultimate products (P3-1, P3-2; P6). Furthermore, a comparison with alkylidenecarbene, oxirane, and thiirane was done.

Demyelination and remyelination have been major focal points in the study of peripheral nerve regeneration following peripheral nerve ***,the gene regulatory network of regenerated myelin differs from that of native *** of enhancer of zeste homolog 2(EZH2)hinders the differentiation,maturation,and myelination of Schwann cells in *** further determine the role of EZH2 in myelination and recovery post-peripheral nerve injury,conditional knockout mice lacking Ezh2 in Schwann cells(Ezh2^(fl/fl);Dhh-Cre and Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre)were *** results show that a significant proportion of axons in the sciatic nerve of Ezh2-depleted mice remain *** highlights the crucial role of Ezh2 in initiating Schwann cell ***,we observed that 21 days after inducing a sciatic nerve crush injury in these mice,most axons had remyelinated at the injury site in the control nerve,while Ezh2^(fl/fl);Mpz-Cre mice had significantly fewer remyelinated axons compared with their wild-type *** suggests that the absence of Ezh2 in Schwann cells impairs myelin formation and *** conclusion,EZH2 has emerged as a pivotal regulatory factor in the process of demyelination and myelin regeneration following peripheral nerve *** EZH2 activity during these processes may offer a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of peripheral nerve injuries.

A lightweight DDoS detection scheme under SDN context

Software-defined networking(SDN),a novel network paradigm,separates the control plane and data plane into dif-ferent network equipment to realize the flexible control of network *** excellent programmability and global view present many new *** detection under the SDN context is an important and challenging research *** previous works attempted to collect and analyze statistics related to flows,usually recorded in switches,to address DDoS *** contrast,other works applied machine learning-based solutions to identify DDos and achieved promising ***,most previous works need to periodically request flow rules or packets to obtain flow statistics or features to detect stealthy ***,the request for flow rules is very time-consuming and CPU-consuming;moreover may congest the communication channel between the controller and the ***,we present FORT,a lightweight DDoS detection scheme,which spreads the rule-based detection algorithm at edge switches and determines whether to start it by periodically retrieving the ports state.A time-series algorithm,ARIMA,is utilized to determine the port statistics adaptively,and an SVM algorithm is applied to detect whether a DDoS attack does *** experiments demonstrate that FORT can significantly reduce the controller load and provide a reliable detection *** to the false alarm rate of 1.24%in the comparison scheme,the false alarm rate of this scheme is only 0.039%,which significantly reduces the probability of false ***,by introducing the alarm mechanism,this scheme can reduce the load of the southbound chan-nel by more than 60%in the normal state.

BACKGROUND The liver is the most common site of digestive system tumor metastasis,but not all liver metastases can be traced back to the primary *** it is unusual,syphilis can impact the liver,manifesting as syphilitic hepatitis with inflammatory nodules,which might be misdiagnosed as *** SUMMARY This case report involves a 46-year-old female who developed right upper abdominal pain and intermittent low fever that persisted for more than three *** definitive diagnosis of a tumor had been made in the past decades,but signs of multiple liver metastases were recognized after a computed tomo-graphy scan without evidence of primary *** positive serological tests for syphilis and a biopsy of the liver nodules,a diagnosis of hepatic syphilis was made and confirmed with follow-up nodule reduction after anti-syphilis *** Clinicians must be aware of the possibility that syphilis can cause hepatic inflam-matory masses,especially when liver metastasis is suspected without evidence of primary lesions.A definitive diagnosis should be established in conjunction with a review of the patient’s medical history for accurate therapeutic intervention.

Effects of Norepinephrine on Renal Cortical and Medullary Blood Flow in Atherosclerotic Rabbits

Objective The aim of this study was to explore the effect of norepinephrine(NE)on renal cortical and medullary blood flow in atherosclerotic rabbits without renal artery *** Atherosclerosis was induced in 21 New Zealand white rabbits by feeding them a cholesterol-rich diet for 16 *** healthy New Zealand white rabbits were randomly selected as *** atherosclerosis induction,standard ultrasonography was performed to confirm that there was no plaque or accelerated flow at the origin of the renal ***-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)was performed at baseline and during intravenous injection of *** degree of contrast enhancement of renal cortex and medulla after the injection of contrast agents was quantified by calculating the enhanced *** The serum nitric oxide(NO)level in atherosclerotic rabbits was higher than that in healthy rabbits(299.6±152 vs.136.5±49.5,P<0.001).The infusion of NE induced a significant increase in the systolic blood pressure(112±14 mmHg vs.84±9 mmHg,P=0.016)and a significant decrease in the enhanced intensity in renal cortex(17.78±2.07 dB vs.21.19±2.03 dB,P<0.001)and renal medulla(14.87±1.82 dB vs.17.14±1.89 dB,P<0.001)during ***,the enhanced intensity in the cortex and medulla of healthy rabbits after NE infusion showed no significant difference from that at *** NE may reduce renal cortical and medullary blood flow in atherosclerotic rabbits without renal artery stenosis,partly by reducing the serum NO level.

Numerical study on the electromechanical behavior of dielectric elastomer with the influence of surrounding medium
