Design of floating offshore wind turbines(FOWTs)needs reliable and innovative technologies to overcome the challenges on how to better predict the dynamic responses in terms of aero-hydro-servo-elastic *** paper aims to demonstrate the optimized prediction of the dynamic response of FOWTs by Simulation annealing diagnosis algorithm(SADA).SADA is an Artificial Intelligence technology-based method,which utilizes the advantages of numerical simulation,basin experiment and machine learning *** actor network in deep deterministic policy gradient(DDPG)is adopted to take actions to adjust the Key disciplinary parameters(KDPs)in each loop according to the feedback of 6DOF motions of platform in dynamic response *** results demonstrated that the mean values of the platform's motions and rotor axial thrust force could be predicted with higher *** this basis,other physical quantities that designers are more concerned about but cannot be obtained from experiments and actual measurements will be predicted by SADA with more *** SADA method differs from traditional supervised learning applications in renewable energy,which do not need to be provided physical quantities with strong direct *** targets can be artificially set for SADA to obtain a better self-learning *** general,designers can use SADA to get a more accurate and optimized prediction of the dynamic response of FOWTs,especially those physical quantities that cannot be directly obtained through the basin experiments.

Investigation on Semi-conductive Properties of Hot Growth Film on 316L Austenitic Stainless Steel

The semi-conductive performances of hot growth film on 316L stainless steel were studied by means of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） and Mott-Schottky *** chemical compositions of the hot growth films were detected by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.The results show that the transfer resistance and film resistance increase with increasing temperature to 400℃,then they decrease sharply with further continuously increasing *** time plays an important role in determining the electron properties of the hot growth film,when formation time reaches to 1 d,the transfer resistance and film resistance reach to the maximum *** growth film has better anticorrosion behaviour in bicarbonate/carbonate solution containing chloride ions or sulfide ***-Schottky analysis reveals that hot growth film has n-p type semi-conductive *** results show that the hot growth film is mainly composed of the inner chromium oxide and the outer iron oxide.

The nuclear fuel assembly is the core component of a nuclear *** a pressurized water reactor fuel assembly,the top-connection structure connects the top nozzle to the guide *** performance reliability is essential for the stability of the nuclear fuel *** this study,an assembly-oriented reliability analysis method for top-connection structures is presented by establishing an assembly-oriented top-connection structure parameter modeling method and a nonlinear contact gap and penetration correction method.A reliability model of the top-connection assembly structure,including multiple stochastic design variables,was constructed,and the overall reliability of the top-connection assembly structure was obtained via a Kriging model and Monte Carlo *** acquired experimental data were consistent with real-world failure conditions,which verified the practicability and feasibility of the reliability analysis method proposed in this study.

Dear Editor,Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS)is an emerging tick-borne infectious disease caused by a novel bunyavirus called SFTS virus(SFTSV).It was initially identified in China in 2009(Yu et al.,2011).Since then,the number of reported SFTS cases has rapidly increased in China,South Korea,and Japan(Li,et al.,2018;Takahashi et al.,2014;Kim et al.,2018).Sporadic SFTS cases have also been identified in several other Asian countries,such as Vietnam,Pakistan,Myanmar,and Thailand(Takahashi et al.,2014;Tran et al.,2019;Li et al.,2021).This disease is recognized as a highly lethal viral hemorrhagic fever with a mortality rate ranging from 12%to 50%(Yu et al.,2011;Li et al.,2018;Takahashi et al.,2014;Kim et al.,2013).SFTS primarily spreads to humans through bites from ticks infected with SFTSV,with the Haemaphysalis longicornis tick acting as the predominant vector for SFTSV(Zhuang et al.,2018).

The quantum nature of bulk ensemble NMR quantum computing the center of recent heated debate,is addressed. Concepts of the mixed state and entanglement are examined, and the data in a two-qubit liquid NMRquantum computation are analyzed. The main points in this paper are: i) Density matrix describes the "state" of anaverage particle in an ensemble. It does not describe the state of an individual particle in an ensemble; ii) Entanglementis a property of the wave function of a microscopic particle (such as a molecule in a liquid NMR sample), and separabilityof the density matrix cannot be used to measure the entanglement of mixed ensemble; iii) The state evolution in bulk-ensemble NMRquantum computation is quantum-mechanical; iv) The coefficient before the effective pure state densitymatrix, e, is a measure of the simultaneity of the molecules in an ensemble. It reflects the intensity of the NMR signaland has no significance in quantifying the entanglement in the bulk ensemble NMR system. The decomposition of thedensity matrix into product states is only an indication that the ensemble can be prepared by an ensemble with theparticles unentangled. We conclude that effective-pure-state NMR quantum computation is genuine, not just classicalsimulations.

Two annular CsI(Tl) detector arrays for the charged particle telescopes

In this study,we constructed two annular detector arrays comprising 24 wedge-shaped CsI(Tl) crystals,and tested them using anαsource and radioactive beams of ^(14-16) Con a CD_2 *** compared the properties of a CsI(Tl) crystal encapsulated with various reflectors,revealing that using the 80-μm-thick ESR film to pack the CsI(Tl) crystal yielded the largest light output with the smallest non-uniformity in light output (ΔLO).For the 24 CsI(Tl) detectors with the 80-μm-thick ESR films,the average energy resolution improved as the average light output increased;however,it deteriorated as theΔLO value *** form two annular Si-CsI(Tl) telescopes for identifying the light-charged particles,theΔLO value and energy resolution of each CsI(Tl) detector were maintained under 20%and 7.7%,*** telescopes were tested for the first time in a direct nuclear reaction experiment using ^(14-16) C+*** results demonstrated that the Z=1 and Z=2 charged particles were adequately discriminated by the telescopes using the standardΔE-E method.

TRIANGLE operation,combined with adequate adjuvant chemotherapy,can improve the prognosis of pancreatic head cancer:A retrospective study

BACKGROUND The TRIANGLE operation involves the removal of all tissues within the triangle bounded by the portal vein-superior mesenteric vein,celiac axis-common hepatic artery,and superior mesenteric artery to improve patient *** previously promising in patients with locally advanced pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC),data are limited regarding the long-term oncological outcomes of the TRIANGLE operation among resectable PDAC patients undergoing pancreaticoduodenectomy(PD).AIM To evaluate the safety of the TRIANGLE operation during PD and the prognosis in patients with resectable *** This retrospective cohort study included patients who underwent PD for pancreatic head cancer between January 2017 and April 2023,with or without the TRIANGLE *** were divided into the PD_(TRIANGLE)and PD_(non-TRIANGLE)*** and survival outcomes were compared between the two *** adjuvant chemotherapy was defined as adjuvant chemotherapy≥6 *** The PD_(TRIANGLE)and PD_(non-TRIANGLE) groups included 52 and 55 patients,*** were no significant differences in the baseline characteristics or perioperative indexes between the two ***,the recurrence rate was lower in the PD_(TRIANGLE) group than in the PD_(non-TRIANGLE) group(48.1%vs 81.8%,P<0.001),and the local recurrence rate of PDAC decreased from 37.8%to 16.0%.Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that PD_(TRIANGLE)(HR=0.424;95%CI:0.256-0.702;P=0.001),adequate adjuvant chemotherapy≥6 months(HR=0.370;95%CI:0.222-0.618;P<0.001)and margin status(HR=2.255;95%CI:1.252-4.064;P=0.007)were found to be independent factors for the recurrence *** The TRIANGLE operation is safe for PDAC patients undergoing ***,it reduces the local recurrence rate of PDAC and may improve survival in patients who receive adequate adjuvant chemotherapy.
