The physics of flat band is novel and rich but difficult to *** this regard,recently twisting of bilayer van der Waals(vd W)-bounded two-dimensional(2 D)materials has attracted much attention,because the reduction of Brillouin zone will eventually lead to a diminishing kinetic ***,one may start with a 2 D kagome lattice,which already possesses flat bands at the Fermi level,but unfortunately these bands connect quadratically to other(dispersive)bands,leading to undesirable ***,we propose,by first-principles calculation and tight-binding modeling,that the same bilayer twisting approach can be used to isolate the kagome flat *** the starting kinetic energy is already vanishingly small,the interlayer vd W potential is always sufficiently large irrespective of the twisting *** such the electronic states in the(connected)flat bands become unstable against a spontaneous Wigner crystallization,which is expected to have interesting interplays with other flat-band phenomena such as novel superconductivity and anomalous quantum Hall effect.

Background:Neutrophils are traditionally viewed as first responders but have a short onset of action in response to traumatic brain injury(TBI).However,the heterogeneity,multifunctionality,and time-dependent modulation of brain damage and outcome mediated by neutrophils after TBI remain poorly ***:Using the combined single-cell transcriptomics,metabolomics,and proteomics analysis from TBI patients and the TBI mouse model,we investigate a novel neutrophil phenotype and its associated effects on TBI outcome by neurological deficit scoring and behavioral *** also characterized the underlying mechanisms both invitro and invivo through molecular simulations,signaling detections,gene expression regulation assessments[including dual-luciferase reporter and chromatin immunoprecipitation(ChIP)assays],primary cultures or co-cultures of neutrophils and oligodendrocytes,intracellular iron,and lipid hydroperoxide concentration measurements,as well as forkhead box protein O1(FOXO1)conditional knockout ***:We identified that high expression of the FOXO1 protein was induced in neutrophils after TBI both in TBI patients and the TBI mouse *** of these FOXO1high neutrophils in the brain was detected not only in the acute phase but also in the chronic phase post-TBI,aggravating acute brain inflammatory damage and promoting late TBI-induced *** the acute stage,FOXO1 upregulated cytoplasmic Versican(VCAN)to interact with the apoptosis regulator B-cell lymphoma-2(BCL-2)-associated X protein(BAX),suppressing the mitochondrial translocation of BAX,which mediated the antiapoptotic effect companied with enhancing interleukin-6(IL-6)production of FOXO1high *** the chronic stage,the“FOXO1-transferrin receptor(TFRC)”mechanism contributes to FOXO1high neutrophil ferroptosis,disturbing the iron homeostasis of oligodendrocytes and inducing a reduction in myelin basic protein,which contributes to the progression of late depression afte

The Malita Graben is located in the northern Bonaparte Basin, between the Sahul Platform to the northwest and the Petrel Sub-basin and Darwin Shelf to the south. The wells Beluga 1, Heron 1, Evans Shoal 1, Evans Shoal 2 and Seismic Line N11805 are selected to determine the thermal history and potential of hydrocarbon generated from the Plover, Elang, Frigate Shale (Cleia and Flamingo), and Echuca Shoals formations source rocks. The modeling was performed by using Basin Mod 1-D and 2-D techniques. The model results show that the geothermal gradients range from 3.05 to 4.05°C/100 m with an average of 3.75°C/100 m and present day heat flow values from 46.23 to 61.99 mW/m2 with an average of 56.29 mW/m2. The highest geothermal gradient and present-day heat flow values occurred on a terrace north of the Malita Graben. These most likely indicate that hot fluids are currently variably migrating into this structure. The lower geothermal gradient and heat flow values have been modeled in the southeast sites in the well Beluga 1. The northern Bonaparte Basin experienced several deformation phases including lithospheric thinning;hence, heat flow is expected to vary over the geological history of the basin. The higher paleo-heat flow values changing from 83.54 to 112.01 mW/m2 with an average of 101.71 mW/m2 during Jurassic rift event (syn-rift) were sufficient for source rocks maturation and hydrocarbon generation during Cretaceous post-breakup sequence (post-rift) in the study area. The Tuatara (Upper Frigate Shale) Formation source rock with type II & III kerogen dominantly showing mixed oil- and gas-prone, and Plover Formation with type III and gas prone have never reached the peak mature oil window in the well Beluga 1. This area indicates that the maturity of source rocks is low and considered to be from poor-to-good organic richness with poor-to-fair potential for hydrocarbons generation. To avoid the disadvantage of traditional PLS model in dealing with nonlinear data,Kernel PLS(KPLS) algorithm has been *** mapping nonlinear data into high-dimensional space with kernel function,the original data set can be processed using linear models in the new ***,when facing diverse complicated nonlinear features,the simple kernel method also exhibits some *** tackle this problem,an improved k-means based Ensemble Adaptive Kernel Partial Least Squares(EAKPLS) is *** whole processes are implemented as *** the modeling phase,the data is first divided into k sub datasets by k-means clustering *** for each subset,different kernels and corresponding kernel parameters are chosen adaptively by introducing PSO *** the prediction phase,ensemble learning is introduced to obtain the final predictable value where Bayes’ theorem is applied,where an improved weights assignment strategy is also ***,numerical and real industrial test cases are both given to demonstrate its feasibility and effectiveness.

Nowadays,the wheeled landing gear and the skid landing gear are used a lot in the vertical takeoff and landing aircraft（VTOL）,which have shortages and can’t meet the military and civilian needs in new *** a new kind of terrain-adaptive bionic landing gear is proposed which can fulfill the requirements of large load and small weight,can make the VTOLs landing on rough terrain,great slope and step *** this article,the design principle of the landing gear is introduced at *** specific composition and working process are *** the design method of one-leg system is detailed described as an important *** through dynamic analysis and virtual prototype simulation,the feasibility of the design is shown at *** from the jobs we have done,the terrain-adaptive landing can be achieved,and simulation result show that the VTOL can be landing successfully on some complex terrain through adjusting the orientation of the landing *** with the traditional landing gear,this design can be achieved in engineering and it has subversive significance.

Evaluation of the learning curve of laser peripheral iridectomy:the 20^(th)case reaches the turning point

Drop test of the mine protected seat is the process of simulating the explosion shock waveform by drop test platform. And it plays an important role in the stage of seat development, design optimization, stereotype and mass production. So, the waveform simulated method for the mine protected seat drop test is proposed in this article to simulating the detonation wave,and the identification method of designing and debugging the waveform generator elastic material is established here. In this article, waveform design principle and modeling method are given based on the specific test process, and the debugging and correction method of waveform are given based on the actual test data. The methods are used in multiple tests. At last, combined with the specific test, the process of design and debugging frequently problems in actual test are given. The results are shown that the technology of explosion shock waveform modeling and simulation shown in this article is effective and useful.

Hydatid disease is a parasitic infestation by a .tapeworm of the genus echinococcus. Spinalhydaticiosis occurs in 1% of all cases with hydatidosis and is most commonly located in the dorsal spine.1 It is a rare cause of neurological signs and symptoms. Spinal hydatid disease should be considered in the differential diagnosis of spinal cord compression syndrome in endemic areas. There are no characteristic signs or symptoms. Misdiagnosis is easily to be made preoperatively. Most diagnosis are made intraoperatively, which increases the risk of future recurrences.
