Double effects of recrystallization behavior on grain morphology evolution and mechanical properties of Al/Mg/Al composite plate by hard plate rolling

Enhancing the bonding strength, optimizing the microstructure and refining the properties represent effective strategies for the fabrication of heterogeneous composite plates. In this study, composite plates of Al/Mg/Al were fabricated through hard plate rolling(HPR) with a reduction in rolling ranging from 40 % to 80 %. The research primarily concentrates on the substrate in the influence of rolling dynamic recrystallization(DRX) behavior on the grain morphology evolution and mechanical properties of AZ31 magnesium alloy sheets during the process. The findings indicate that at a compression amount of 60 %, the composite plate exhibits an ultimate tensile strength(UTS), a maximum elongation(EL) of 12.5 %, and improved interface bonding. Comparative analysis reveals the occurrence of DRX on the Mg side, resulting in the formation of small DRXed grains being generated. With an increase in reduction, DRX is facilitated, leading to an initial rise and subsequent decline in the proportion of DRXed grains. The proliferation of fine grains hinder dislocation movement, thereby reinforcing composite ***, an elevation in the degree of recrystallization enhances the initiation of non-basal slip and enhances the plasticity of sheet metal. This study offers valuable scientific guidance and technical assistance for the production of forming high-quality Mg–Al composite plates.

BACKGROUND Adult-onset Still's disease(AOSD)is a rare autoinflammatory disease charac-terized by nonspecific symptoms such as fever,rash,sore throat and *** paper reports a clinical case of AOSD successfully treated with Bo’s abdo-minal acupuncture(BAA).CASE SUMMARY We report a 20-year-old man who suffered from cold exposure,presenting with high fever,rash,sore throat,arthralgia,and elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate,leukocytosis with neutrophilic predominance,elevated ferritin,elevated C-reactive protein,and negative rheumatoid *** was diagnosed with AOSD based on the Yamaguchi *** treatment with traditional Chinese medi-cine(TCM)decoction and prednisone acetate tablets,there was some alleviation of sore throat,joint and muscle pain,and fever,but he still had persistent low-grade fever,rash,sore throat and *** went to the TCM acupuncture outpatient department to receive *** acupoints Zhongwan(CV12),Xiawan(CV10),0.5 cm below Xiawan(CV10),Qihai(CV6),Guanyuan(CV4),bilateral Qixue(KI13),bilateral Huaroumen(ST24),bilateral Shangfengshidian(AB1)and bilateral Daheng(SP15)were *** 3 months treatment,all symptoms disappeared,and the laboratory examination returned to normal *** did not take glucocorticoids or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs afterwards,and no relapse was observed during the 3-year follow-up *** BAA can be used as a complementary medical approach for treatment of AOSD.

Heart injury such as myocardial infarction leads to cardiomyocyte loss,fibrotic tissue deposition,and scar *** changes reduce cardiac contractility,resulting in heart failure,which causes a huge public health *** personnel,compared with civilians,is exposed to more stress,a risk factor for heart diseases,making cardiovascular health management and treatment innovation an important topic for military *** far,medical intervention can slow down cardiovascular disease progression,but not yet induce heart *** the past decades,studies have focused on mechanisms underlying the regenerative capability of the heart and applicable approaches to reverse heart *** have emerged from studies in animal models and early clinical *** interventions show the potential to reduce scar formation and enhance cardiomyocyte proliferation that counteracts the pathogenesis of heart *** this review,we discuss the signaling events controlling the regeneration of heart tissue and summarize current therapeutic approaches to promote heart regeneration after injury.

FSI simulation of dynamics of fish passing through a tubular turbine based on the immersed boundary-lattice Boltzmann coupling scheme

The anadromous fish can pass through turbines of run-of-the-river hydropower stations to reach the downstream watershed, but their mortality is significant because of the complex turbine structure, the fast-rotating runner, and the special flow patterns. Numerical simulations of the dynamics of fish passing are a challenging task, because the fish motion in the turbines involves a strong fluid-structure interaction (FSI). In this paper, the 3-D immersed boundary-lattice Boltzmann (IB-LB) coupling scheme is proposed to treat the FSI between the water and the fish. The process of one fish and three fish passing through a tubular turbine is simulated on a graphics processing unit (GPU) platform. The fish motion postures (translation and rotation), the fish body pressure distributions and histories are analyzed, and the results are consistent with the previous studies. This paper presents the IB-LB models, the simulation procedures, the specific treatments, and related results, to demonstrate the effectiveness of the IB-LB coupling scheme in simulating FSI problems and its application prospects in developing fish-friendly turbines.

The instability of perovskite materials under continuous ultraviolet(UV)light irradiation and high sensitivity in humid environments remain obstacles to future ***,the photovoltaic performance of perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)is prone to decline under UV light exposure for sustained periods of ***,in conventional methods,preventing UV light from entering PVSCs usually comes at the expense of reducing short circuit photocurrent(Jsc).Herein,the UV stability of PVSCs is modified by in-troducing a singlet fission down-conversion layer 6,13-bis(triisopropylsilylethynyl)pentacene(TIPS-PEN)via one-step anti-solvent method without sacrificing device *** introduction of down conversion layer can not only improve the Jsc by converting UV light into multiple excitons,but also enhance the open-circuit voltage(Voc)owing to a better matched energy level alignment at the perovskite/spiro-OMeTAD ***,the TIPS-PEN incorporated PVSCs attain the champion power conversion effi-ciency(PCE)up to 22.92%accompanied with dramatically increased UV photostability which can retain 80%of its primitive PCE un-der continuous UV light soaking for 150 ***,the unencapsulated PVSCs with TIPS-PEN exhibit remarkable moisture stability which can sustain over 80%of the initial value under air conditions(50%relative humidity,25℃)after 1000 h.

Dual-Resistance of Ion Migration and Moisture Erosion via Hydrolytic Crosslinking of Siloxane Functionalized Poly(Ionic Liquids)for Efficient and Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

The inevitable ion migration that occurs within ionic polycrystalline perovskite film results in inferior longterm stability of perovskite solar cells(PVSCs)that cannot meet the commercial ***,a novel poly(ionic liquid)named poly-1-vinyl-3-propyltrimethoxysilane imidazolium chloride(PImIL-SiO)is first introduced into perovskite to strengthen grain boundaries(GBs)and construct dual-functional barriers against internal ion migration and external moisture erosion for fabricating highly efficient and stable ***-SiO-containing imidazoliumcations and pendant siloxane groups contribute to passivation of bulk defects and anchoring of GBs,which effectively hinders ion migration channels,thus reducing perovskite film phase separation and device ***,the intrinsically hydrophobic PImIL-SiO automatically forms a secondary protective barrier to endow the perovskite film with ultrahigh moisture corrosion resistance through the hydrolyzation reaction of siloxane with the permeated ***,the PImIL-SiO-modified PVSCs achieve a champion power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 22.46%,accompaniedby excellent thermal andhumidity stabilities where the non-encapsulated devices retain 87%of the initial PCE after aging at 85℃for 250 h and>85%of the initial PCE over 1100 h in air with a relative humidity of 50–70%.

Core-shell particles of C-doped CdS and graphene: A noble metal-free approach for efficient photocatalytic H_(2) generation

To achieve efficient photocatalytic H_(2) generation from water using earth-abundant and cost-effective materials,a simple synthesis method for carbon-doped CdS particles wrapped with graphene(C-doped CdS@G)is *** doping effect and the application of graphene as cocatalyst for CdS is studied for photocatalytic H_(2) *** most active sample consists of CdS and graphene(CdS-0.15G)exhibits promising photocatalytic activity,producing 3.12 mmol g^-(1) h^-(1) of H_(2) under simulated solar light which is^4.6 times superior than pure CdS nanoparticles giving an apparent quantum efficiency(AQY)of 11.7%.The enhanced photocatalytic activity for H_(2) generation is associated to the narrowing of the bandgap,enhanced light absorption,fast interfacial charge transfer,and higher carrier density(N_(D))in C-doped CdS@G *** is achieved by C doping in CdS nanoparticles and the formation of a graphene shell over the C-doped CdS *** stability test,the spent catalysts sample was also characterized to investigate the nanostructure.
