We propose a consistency test for some recent X-ray gas mass fraction （fgas） measurements in galaxy clusters, using the cosmic distance-duality relation, Ttneory = DL（1 ＋ Z）-2/DA, with luminosity distance （DL） data from the Union2 compilation of type Ia supernovae. We set Z/theory = 1, instead of assigning any red- shift parameterizations to it, and constrain the cosmological information preferred by fga8 data along with supernova observations. We adopt a new binning method in the reduction of the Union2 data, in order to minimize the statistical errors. Four data sets of X-ray gas mass fraction, which are reported by Allen et al. （two samples）, LaRoque et al. and Ettori et al., are analyzed in detail in the context of two theoretical models of fgas. The results from the analysis of Alien et al.＇s samples demonstrate the feasibility of our method. It is found that the preferred cosmology by LaRoque et al.＇s sample is consistent with its reference cosmology within the 1σ confidence level. However, for Ettori et al.＇s fgas sample, the inconsistency can reach more than a 3σ confidence level and this dataset shows special preference to an ΩA = 0 cosmology.

Combustion characteristics and kinetic analysis of co-combustion between bag dust and pulverized coal

The combustion characteristics of blast furnace bag dust(BD) and three kinds of coal—Shenhua(SH) bituminous coal, Pingluo(PL) anthracite, and Yangquan(YQ) anthracite—were obtained via non-isothermal thermogravimetry. The combustion characteristics with different mixing ratios were also investigated. The physical and chemical properties of the four samples were investigated in depth using particle size analysis, Scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence analysis, and Raman spectroscopy. The results show that the conversion rate of the three kinds of pulverized coals is far greater than that of the BD. The comprehensive combustion characteristics of the three types of pulverized coals rank in the order SH > PL > YQ. With the addition of BD, the characteristic parameters of the combustion reaction of the blend showed an increasing trend. The Coats–Redfern model used in this study fit well with the experimental results. As the BD addition increased from 5 wt% to 10 wt%, the activation energy of combustion reactions decreased from 68.50 to 66.74 k J/mol for SH, 118.34 to 110.75 kJ/mol for PL, and 146.80 to 122.80 kJ/mol for YQ. These results also provide theoretical support for the practical application of blast furnace dust for blast furnace injection.

An infrared solar spectrum observed by ground-based telescopes is seriously affected by the background radiation both from the telescope and sky,relative to the visible *** accuracy is also influenced by the spectral resolution of the Fourier transform *** the paper,we developed a CO_(2)gas cell and installed it in the sample compartment to calibrate the spectral resolution of the Bruker IFS-125HR at infrared *** measured spectral resolution is 0.00342±0.00086 cm^(-1)and 0.0059±0.00024 cm^(-1)at the wavenumbers of798 cm^(-1)and 2136 cm^(-1),*** also updated a fully reflective sunlight feeding system to observe the solar spectrum near CO 4.66μm and Mg I 12.32μ*** quickly pointing the sunlight feeding system about1 degree away from the solar disk center,we are able to measure the background radiation from the telescope and the sky at Huairou Solar Observing *** removing the background radiation,our observed solar spectrum at CO 4.66μm is consistent with that from the National Solar *** Mg I 12.32μm working line selected by the Accurate Infrared Magnetic Field Measurements of the Sun(AIMS)project is also *** method is helpful not only for the spectral resolution calibration and background radiation correction of AIMS but also for other infrared astronomical telescopes.

From the perspectives of biodiversity conservation and management, there is an urgent need to have at hand current synopses of classification and distributions of species. In this paper, we review and summa rize the classifica tions, Chinese a nd English names, type specimens, type localities and distributions of China’s lizard fauna to promote scientific exchange and species conservation among relevant people in China and internationally. As of December 31, 2020, a total of 230species of lizard, belonging to 44 genera and 12 families,have been recorded from China, including 4 invasive species: 2 in the family Gekkonidae, 1 in Iguanidae and one in Dactyloidae. There are 115 endemic species, accounting for 50% of this group. The proportion of endemic species to China was the highest in the family Eublepharidae(84.62%), and the number of endemic species to China was the highest in the family Agamidae(42 species). The species distributions and classifica tion in the “Fa una Sinica(Reptilia 2): Squamata(Lacertilia)” were *** the provincial administrative units, there is a larger number of species in the southern provinces, such as Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi and Taiwan. Sichuan, Yunnan, and Taiwan harbour relatively more endemic species than others. A total of 154 species of lizards were first discovered in China, and the type localities of these species are concentrated in Yunnan, Taiwan, Tibet, Xinjiang, and Sichuan.

We have systematically analyzed the experimental β--decay half-lives of waiting point heavy nuclei around neutron number N = 126. A new set of parameters for the exponential formula of β^--decay half-lives is proposed. The forbidden transition effects are included in the new set of parameters self-consistently. Theoretical β^--decay half-lives of nuclei around N = 126 are compared with recent theoretical results and experimental data. It is found that the new theoretical results are in better agreement with experimental data. The unknown β^--decay half-lives of some nuclei in this region are predicted for studies on nuclear structure far from stability and the nucleosynthesis in stars.
