Forced boiling of nonazeotropic immiscible mixture in a supercapillary microchannel array for ultra-high heat flux removal with chip junction temperature below 85℃

In this study,a structure-optimized two-phase microchannel heat sink with sintered submicron nucleation sites was developed and *** copper-based microchannels had a rectangular cross-section with an equivalent hydraulic diameter of 222μ*** subcooled flow boiling characteristics were comprehensively compared between pure HFE-7100 and a non-azeotropic,immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100 and water,considering heating areas of 1 and 5 cm^(2).The total heating power input to the test section were 100–1500 and 250–3000 W for a 1 and 5 cm^(2)heat source,respectively,with a flow rate ranging from 50 to150 L/*** to pure HFE-7100,the non-azeotropic immiscible binary mixture of HFE-7100/water in the sintered porous microchannels exhibited a much higher overall heat transfer coefficient and lower power *** maintain the junction temperature of a high power electronic chip below 85℃,the proposed supercapillary microchannel heat sink could effectively dissipate the heat flux of 1275 W/cm^(2)over 1 cm^(2)heat source and 500 W/cm^(2)over 5 cm^(2)heat *** addition,the volume ratio of the binary mixture strongly influence the two-phase flow heat transfer *** optimal volume ratio exist in terms of the thermal resistance–pumping power minimization(HFE-7100:water=2:8 is recommended in this study).The findings of this investigation on the flow boiling properties of non-azeotropic immiscible mixtures help fill a gap in the related field.

The experimental results in previous studies have indicated that during the ductile fracture of pure metals,vacancies aggregate and form voids at grain ***,the physical mechanism underlying this phenomenon remains not fully *** study derives the equilibrium distribution of vacancies analytically by following thermodynamics and the micromechanics of crystal *** derivation suggests that vacancies cluster in regions under hydrostatic compression to minimize the elastic strain ***,a finite element model is developed for examining more general scenarios of interaction between vacancies and grain *** model is first verified and validated through comparison with some available analytical solutions,demonstrating consistency between finite element simulation results and analytical solutions within a specified numerical accuracy.A systematic numerical study is then conducted to investigate the mechanism that might govern the micromechanical interaction between grain boundaries and the profuse vacancies typically generated during plastic *** simulation results indicate that the reduction in total elastic strain energy can indeed drive vacancies toward grain boundaries,potentially facilitating void nucleation in ductile fracture.

This paper focuses on a question raised by Holm and J?rgensen, who asked if the induced cotorsion pairs(Φ（X）, Φ（X）⊥) and(⊥Ψ（Y）, Ψ（Y）) in Rep（Q, A）—the category of all A-valued representations of a quiver Q—are complete whenever（X, Y） is a complete cotorsion pair in an abelian category A satisfying some mild conditions. We give an affirmative answer if the quiver Q is rooted. As an application, we show under certain mild conditions that if a subcategory L, which is not necessarily closed under direct summands, of A is special precovering（resp., preenveloping）, then Φ（L）(resp.,Ψ（L）) is special precovering（resp., preenveloping） in Rep（Q, A）.

The similarities and differences in inherent mechanism and characteristic frequency between the onedimensional(1D) poroelastic model and the layered White model were investigated. This investigation was conducted under the assumption that the rock was homogenous and isotropic at the mesoscopic scale. For the inherent mechanism, both models resulted from quasi-static flow in a slow P-wave diffusion mode, and the differences between them originated from saturated fluids and boundary conditions. On the other hand, for the characteristic frequencies of the models, the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model was first modified because the elastic constant and formula for calculating it were misused and then compared to that of the layered White model. Both of them moved towards higher frequencies with increasing permeability and decreasing viscosity and diffusion length. The differences between them were due to the diffusion length. The diffusion length for the 1D poroelastic model was determined by the sample length, whereas that for the layered White model was determined by the length of the representative elementary volume(REV). Subsequently, a numerical example was presented to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the models. Finally, published experimental data were interpreted using the 1D poroelastic model combined with the Cole-Cole *** prediction of the combined model was in good agreement with the experimental data, thereby validating the effectiveness of the 1D poroelastic model. Furthermore, the modified characteristic frequency in our study was much closer to the experimental data than the previous prediction, validating the effectiveness of our modification of the characteristic frequency of the 1D poroelastic model. Forward modeling of seismic wave propagation is crucial for the realization of reverse time migration(RTM) and full waveform inversion(FWI) in attenuating transversely isotropic media. To describe the attenuation and anisotropy properties of subsurface media, the pure-viscoacoustic anisotropic wave equations are established for wavefield simulations, because they can provide clear and stable wavefields. However, due to the use of several approximations in deriving the wave equation and the introduction of a fractional Laplacian approximation in solving the derived equation, the wavefields simulated by the previous pure-viscoacoustic tilted transversely isotropic(TTI) wave equations has low accuracy. To accurately simulate wavefields in media with velocity anisotropy and attenuation anisotropy, we first derive a new pure-viscoacoustic TTI wave equation from the exact complex-valued dispersion formula in viscoelastic vertical transversely isotropic(VTI) media. Then, we present the hybrid finite-difference and low-rank decomposition(HFDLRD) method to accurately solve our proposed pure-viscoacoustic TTI wave equation. Theoretical analysis and numerical examples suggest that our pure-viscoacoustic TTI wave equation has higher accuracy than previous pure-viscoacoustic TTI wave equations in describing q P-wave kinematic and attenuation characteristics. Additionally, the numerical experiment in a simple two-layer model shows that the HFDLRD technique outperforms the hybrid finite-difference and pseudo-spectral(HFDPS) method in terms of accuracy of wavefield modeling.

A series of 3-acyl-substituted isoindolinone derivatives were synthesized in a one-pot manner via the reaction of o-bromobenzaldehydes,isocyanides,and carboxylic acids in the presence of palladium catalyst and base. The reaction employing easily available starting materials features simple operation and high efficiency. The mechanistic study showed that the reaction might undergo 1) Pd-catalyzed [3+2] cyclization of o-bromobenzaldehyde with isocyanide and the re-insertion of another molecule of isocyanide,2) addition of carboxylic acid to in situ formed ketenimine followed by a rearrangement relay to give 3,3-diacyl-substituted isoindolinone derivative. Further transformations of the obtained products through decarbonylation could also be realized.

The support vector machine(SVM)is a classical machine learning *** the hinge loss and least absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)penalty are usually used in traditional ***,the hinge loss is not differentiable,and the LASSO penalty does not have the Oracle *** this paper,the huberized loss is combined with non-convex penalties to obtain a model that has the advantages of both the computational simplicity and the Oracle property,contributing to higher accuracy than traditional *** is experimentally demonstrated that the two non-convex huberized-SVM methods,smoothly clipped absolute deviation huberized-SVM(SCAD-HSVM)and minimax concave penalty huberized-SVM(MCP-HSVM),outperform the traditional SVM method in terms of the prediction accuracy and classifier *** are also superior in terms of variable selection,especially when there is a high linear correlation between the *** they are applied to the prediction of listed companies,the variables that can affect and predict financial distress are accurately filtered *** all the indicators,the indicators per share have the greatest influence while those of solvency have the weakest *** companies can assess the financial situation with the indicators screened by our algorithm and make an early warning of their possible financial distress in advance with higher precision.

Accurate modeling for highly non-linear coupling of a damaged ship with liquid sloshing in waves is still of considerable interest within the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)and AI *** paper describes a data-driven Stacking algorithm for fast prediction of roll motion response amplitudes in beam waves by constructing a hydrodynamics model of a damaged ship based on the dynamic overlapping grid CFD *** general idea is to optimize various parameters varying with four types of classical base models like multi-layer perception,support vector regression,random forest,and hist gradient boosting *** offers several attractive properties in terms of accuracy and efficiency by choosing the standard DTMB 5415 model with double damaged compartments for *** is clearly demonstrated that the predicted response amplitude operator(RAO)in the regular beam waves agrees well with the experimental data available,which verifies the accuracy of the established damaged ship hydrodynamics *** high-quality CFD samples,therefore,implementation of the designed Stacking algorithm with its optimal combination can predict the damaged ship roll motion amplitudes effectively and accurately(e.g.,the coefficient of determination 0.9926,the average absolute error 0.0955 and CPU 3s),by comparison of four types of typical base models and their various ***,the established Stacking algorithm provides one potential that can break through problems involving the time-consuming and low efficiency for large-scale lengthy CFD simulations.
