We theoretically investigate a three-dimensional Fermi gas with Rashba spin-orbit coupling in the presence of both out-of-plane and in-plane Zeeman fields. We show that, driven by a sufficiently large Zeeman field, either out-of-plane or in-plane, the superfluid phase of this system exhibits a number of interesting features, including inhomogeneous Fulde- Ferrell pairing, gapped or gapless topological order, and exotic quasi-particle excitations known as Weyl fermions that have linear energy dispersions in momentum space （i.e., massless Dirac fermions）. The topological superfluid phase can have either four or two topologically protected Weyl nodes. We present the phase diagrams at both zero and finite temperatures and discuss the possibility of their observation in an atomic Fermi gas with synthetic spin-orbit coupling. In this context, topological superfluid phase with an imperfect Rashba spin-orbit coupling is also studied.

Malachite is one of the main minerals used for the industrial enrichment and recovery of copper oxide resources, and copper ions are unavoidable metal ions in the flotation pulp. The microflotation, contact angle, and adsorption experiments indicated that pretreatment with an appropriate concentration of copper ions could improve the malachite recovery, and the addition of excess copper ions reduced the hydrophobicity of the malachite surface. The results of zeta potential tests indicated that sodium sulfide and butyl xanthate were also adsorbed on the surface of malachite pretreated with copper ions. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) results indicated that —Cu—O and —Cu—OH bonds were formed on the surface of the samples. After pretreatment with an appropriate concentration of copper ions, the number of —OH groups on the mineral surface decreased, whereas the number of Cu—S groups on the mineral surface increased, which was conducive to the sulfidization of malachite. After adding a high concentration of copper ions, the —OH groups on the mineral surface increased, whereas the number of Cu—S groups decreased, which had an adverse effect on the sulfidization flotation of malachite. Time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry showed that pretreatment with copper ions resulted in a thicker sulfidization layer on the mineral surface.

The design methods of typical supersonic aircraft intakes and shock wave compression technology have been applied to ram-rotor,an attractive compression system.A ram-rotor is of a typical structure including the compression ramp,the throat and the subsonic diffuser;a scrampressor is similar to ram-rotor,the only difference is that scrampressor has no subsonic *** work was the continuation of the preparatory *** order to further study the effect of throat contraction ratio and strake stagger angle on the flow field and performance of a scrampressor,the flow field of a scrampressor with a three-dimensional flow path was numerically simulated with different throat contraction ratios and strake stagger *** results indicated that the optional aerodynamic performance of a scrampressor could be achieved with an adiabatic efficiency of 0.8413atotal pressure recovery coefficient of 0.8446,a total pressure ratio of 7.14 and a static pressure ratio of 5.17for a throat contraction ratio of 0.6 and a strake stagger angle of 12°.It was therefore concluded that an appropriate decrease in throat contraction ratio and an increase in strake stagger angle could help the comprehensive improvement of a scrampressor in performance.

The current single-atom catalysts(SACs)for medicine still suffer from the limited active site ***,we develop a synthetic method capable of increasing both the metal loading and mass-specific activity of SACs by exchanging zinc with *** constructed iron SACs(h^(3)-FNC)with a high metal loading of 6.27 wt%and an optimized adjacent Fe distance of~4 A exhibit excellent oxidase-like catalytic performance without significant activity decay after being stored for six months and promising antibacterial ***,a“density effect”has been found at a high-enough metal doping amount,at which individual active sites become close enough to interact with each other and alter the electronic structure,resulting in significantly boosted intrinsic activity of single-atomic iron sites in h^(3)-FNCs by 2.3 times compared to low-and medium-loading ***,the overall catalytic activity of h^(3)-FNC is highly improved,with mass activity and metal mass-specific activity that are,respectively,66 and 315 times higher than those of commercial Pt/*** addition,h^(3)-FNCs demonstrate efficiently enhanced capability in catalyzing oxygen reduction into superoxide anion(O_(2)·^(−))and glutathione(GSH)*** in vitro and in vivo assays demonstrate the superior antibacterial efficacy of h^(3)-FNCs in promoting wound *** work presents an intriguing activity-enhancement effect in catalysts and exhibits impressive therapeutic efficacy in combating bacterial infections.

Estimation of solid concentration in solid-liquid two-phase flow in horizontal pipeline using inverse-problem approach

In this study,an inverse-problem method was applied to estimate the solid concentration in a solid-liquid two-phase *** algebraic slip mixture model was introduced to solve the forward problem of solid-liquid convective heat *** time-average conservation equations of mass,momentum,energy,as well as the volume fraction equation were computed in a computational fluid dynamics(CFD)*** solid concentration in the CFD model was controlled using an external program that included the inversion iteration,and an optimal estimation was performed via experimental *** using a fly-ash-water mixture and sand-water mixture with different solid concentrations in a horizontal pipeline were conducted to verify the accuracy of the inverse-problem *** estimated results were rectified using a method based on the relationship between the estimated results and estimation error;consequently,the accuracy of the corrected inversion results improved *** a verification through experiments,the inverse-problem method was concluded to be feasible for predicting the solid concentration,as the estimation error of the corrected results was within 7%for all experimental samples for a solid concentration of less than 50%.The inverse-problem method is expected to provide accurate predictions of the solid concentration in solid-liquid two-phase flow systems.
